This is the first time that Lou Cheng has disappointed me and disappointed I am immensely. Any friend who even thinks of calling me and getting me involved in a situation like that knowing that my family could be targeted is my friend no more. I would even wish for him to die a gruesome death at that point. You know what ? I hope that his master disowns him so that he can learn his lesson. Misplaced sympathy will get you nowhere in life.
OH COME ON NOW !!! It was going so great ! Now you are just bringing ridiculous and absolutely unnecessary things to the plot author. Now he has a SOUL GUIDING SPELL and shows him WHAT HE IS SUPPOSED TO DO ? That is so lame ! Lith wants to be no hero. He wants to survive and become the greatest of all time for his own sake. He doesn't need to save the world nor does he want to. So, now you are just forcing heroism ? Why would you ruin such a good cynical character and reduce him into THIS !?
No.... I quite understand the context in that case. Just look at today's world. If you fuck with a politician's kid in your school, your poor family's life and business are FUCKED. You will have nothing. Why ? Why did the politician punish the entire family for you dealing with an asshole of a son ? Because he fucking can. No other reason. Now imagine just fucking with an almighty cultivator. Since the power level is 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000X more, the damage will be more as well.
I hate how he has become. Now, he is just a guy who depends on luck to stay alive. Every single fight since the time skip was him being saved by pure luck. It hurts me to see the character degrade to this. His battle instincts have dulled extremely.
what ? WHAT !? What does he mean by he has used everything in his arsenal ? It doesn't make sense. What about his strongest moves ? Dust Fall and Night Epiphyllum ? What happened to those ? He can use lightning, we know that ? So, why doesn't he ? Did the author forget or something ? There is too much inconsistency in this novel. At one point he say that he spent a HUGE AMOUNT OF MERIT POINTS to learn the absolute art but a few chapters later it says, IT WAS CHEAP BECAUSE BARELY ANYONE COULD USE IT. And the amount of plot armor is stifling.
He got saved by pure luck AGAIN ! It's like his battle instincts have dulled considerably over the past few years. Isn't it common sense to NOT close the distance on a confident stationary enemy ? What is the author doing to this awesome character ? It hurts me to see him like this. And he still didn't use DUST FALL or Night Epiphyllum. He keeps using the weakest Crescent moon almost dies EVERY SINGLE TIME. So, he would rather die than use those two moves. This is getting ridiculous and Ai Hui is getting stupid. I really hate his decision to sell all of the flower seeds.
ok... i can't help but think that he is really weak. All throughout the fight he didn't use any proper sword technique and just formations. And every single fight since the time skip has been him almost dying from his opponents' attacks and surviving purely based on luck. HE was much stronger before this. He didn't even use the lightning attack. And his other attacks also seem weaker. He is generally really strong compared to others in the same realm but now I see that he wouldn't have won any of them without the element of surprise. What happened ? Is this the same guy who took on such dangerous enemies in the Central Pine City. IS this the same guy who cut down hordes or enemies at once using lightning ? His area of effect attack right now should be strong enough to hit the entire Sha Guard army with lightning. Why is he so weak then ?
I thought he has NO QUESTIONS ? I find it appalling that he didn't ask Mingxiu about anything that he saw even though he didn't understand them. What harm would have happened if he had asked ? I though he was supposed to be meticulous. Doesn't seem like it.
I see people in the comments having fun and celebrating but don't you see the HUGE problem this novel is creating with female characters ? When it comes to female characters, all the common sense is thrown out of the window. Forget the kiss ! Just think for a moment. This idiot let a woman whose poisons are almost as powerful as his get close to him and not only that, he let her kiss him. Did he not think for a moment that she might have spent the 2 days concocting poison for him ? Where does this baseless trust of his come from ?
