Well...you must be a little desperate to read an about section about me. I am truly sorry you are so bored. Maybe you should try reading a novel instead? I hear Altering Skyrim is a mediocre FanFic.

This is the inspiration for the mech's design.

Her entrance was made all the more dramatic as her mount took a step forward. The armored humanoid was as tall as a giant. Black and gold trimmed ebony and dwarven armor plating covering every inch of it. There was no obvious helmet, and the main body portion was rounded like an egg. Huge metal arms nearly reached the ground from the massive, spiked pauldrons. Legs thicker than tree trunks supported the whole thing and left small craters in the ground from its insane weight. Purplish smoke rose from the joints and seams of the armored monstrosity giving it an almost ethereal feeling.

    Don't blame you.

While I am not certain I did the story justice, I actually enjoyed writing this battle quite a bit. Thanks for all the support, and I hope you enjoy.

Oof don't I know it. That one hasn't had an update in a long time now. A good fire emblem fic is hard to find.

"See! You do remember ripping out the hearts of 4 Briarhearts! You even made the same demented chant as you did originally and mentioned your sacred temple of doom! That shows you already know how you betrayed me and embarrassed me with that goat! I never should have trusted you with that secret! It was only one time when I was a boy, yet you made me relive the entire thing in front of the council of tribes! Your foul magic will not be able to save you this time!"

Unfortunately not. I left it kind of vague at the beginning since I didn't really know what to do exactly, and I never cared to explain it more. MC is kind of like a Self Insert, so I suppose he is similar to me in that regard.

Rictus took a good look the spell book laying beside his food. The book cover was a reddish orange color with the symbol for alteration magic (a tree with half of the branches bare and the other half full of leaves) right in the center. Below the symbol was Rictus's name is golden letters. Opening the book, the left-hand page showed the alteration symbol again with the number 53 above it and the word Adept below it. The right-hand page was a table of contents showing Rictus's known spells. In the original game there were only around 13 alteration spells total, but there are 28 already listed in the book.

    That was basically the inspiration

It didn't take long for the defenders to notice a disturbing trend. Weak undead made up most of the front lines. These undead didn't even try to attack since that would be completely useless against a stalwart wall. What they could do though, was throw their bodies down on the ground before the wall. Ever so slowly, the bodies piled up. After a couple minutes, people started realizing the piles were getting taller and taller. Hundreds of undead had already been defeated, but each one of them added another piece into a macabre ramp leading straight up towards the wall. Plans were rapidly being made on how to remove the undead ramp when everyone heard a loud chorus of screeches.

    He was...

Moral was high as the defenders were basically attacking unimpeded and laying waste to countless enemies. The lack of enemy siege engines made many feel that this would be much easier than they had imagined. That was until a group of archers were taken out by a log thrown by a giant. Additional projectiles and magical spells were cast from the attacking daedra when they finally entered into range, sending many defenders hiding behind the walls.

Haha well hopefully the Restored actually live through it unlike the Spartans.

As soon as Rictus stepped through the gate, a group of 10 undead sprinted towards him. With a casual wave of his hand, all 10 fell to the ground from a sudden increase in gravity. Stone spikes quickly shot up, pulverizing their skulls, and ending them permanently.

    Perhaps a bit.

Morrigan stood proudly at the forefront as the mages of the College of Winterhold entered the battle. She wasn't alone though. Faralda stood with Korir and the warriors of Winterhold as they defended the mages from any approaching threats. A blinding white light shone from one of the larger openings as a figured wearing radiant crusader armor stepped through at the head of a group of Dawnguard and Vigilants of Stendarr. Dante led his group of holy warriors down straight into the open flank as they banished their god given enemies.

Grabbing two large crocodile like daedra with his telekinesis and slashing open their throats with his dragonesque talons, Rictus couldn't help laughing while reveling in the chaos and slaughter around him. He loved it when a plan came together.

"Yeah, right. I don't think words can actually jinx a situation like that. Those kinds of things only happen in movies and books by writers who don't know how to properly write a scene. Things like that just don't happen in real life."

As he was catching up with the two, the Restored secured the gatehouse and surrounding area. Once that was done, Rictus looked at the broken gate. Seems the giants couldn't quickly destroy the actual door, so they destroyed its housing mechanisms instead. Rictus ordered a few of the largest minotaurs to help guide the gate back into place as he maneuvered it with his magic. A few minutes later and the city was no longer open for anyone to just stroll in. It wasn't a complete fix, but it would work for now. A large force of Restored were sent towards the top of the gate house to man the walls and keep an eye out for the approaching armies. Serana and Alucard stayed with them since they thought they would be the most helpful there as they waited for Harkon to make his appearance. Rictus and the rest of his fighters began systematically clearing the streets and buildings as they worked to link up with the rest of the Restored.

I am posting the first today and will post the other ones Thursday and Friday. If a lot of people prefer, I can post two chapters tomorrow instead of waiting a day, just let me know.
