Hey readers! Thanks for checking my web novel out. This is actually my second web novel, but I had dropped the first one after losing momentum and realizing what I enjoy and don't enjoy writing. In any case, this is going to be one very interesting kingdom/army building web novel to write. I hope you all enjoy the WN!

So things are progressing a little slow and my schedule at the moment is just write whenever. I'm planning on having a schedule of at least three chapters a week, one on Monday, one on Wednesday, and one on Saturday. Also the first few chapters are only setting the scene. The next will introduce our next leading character Marie Hagesawa. Also some context. The "First Imjin War" in the story refers to the Imjin War in real life where Japan unsuccessfully invaded Japan, but not before doing considerable damage and death across the peninsula. Later, the Japanese would pressure, invade, and annex Korea in the 18 and 1900s - what followed were crimes against humanity and WW2. IN this world Korea repelled Japan and was not annexed. How? The fact that Erik is half British is a hint, but it will be explained in later chapters.

I wonder if I'll bring this character back in the future. At the moment, I haven't many plans for Commander Adams. I guess we'll have to just see where it takes us.

Literally a shameless 5 star review from the author. This is my first time writing a web novel, but I've got a wide vision for what is to come in the series. I've taken a lot of inspiration from steampunk literature like the Leviathan Trilogy by Scott Westerfeld and light novel series such as the Saga of Tanya the Evil. This is of course, based in the events of WW1 and will have a lot of parallel events. However, there's going to probably be a lot of deviation from the actual events and the limited POVs will be interesting to develop. All in all, thanks for coming here and feel free to suggest anything that might make the web novel better. I hope you guys will enjoy the story!

I LOVED IT!!! Hope in the future we might hear more of the Sun Kingdom, but I'm already crying from this beautiful ending explanation. The shameless MC was great and the kingdom-building was well explained and interesting to read. I always had the feeling of "what's coming next". Although it couldn't be completed, I also really liked how you planned out the story and gave us a satisfying ending. Thanks for writing such a jewel on this website.
