There are just some lines in the show that are too iconic not to include and in some cases the character who said it is not in the scene, but my oc is. Some people on this site in particular don’t take to my book too well because it is a fanfiction with a female protag. Most disheartening comments about how I write my original character in the series are actually only from men. I just don’t think my pov is what you guys are looking to read. Thank you for the input, but I enjoy what I write and what I have created xx

I’m not too sure why this is such a pressing issue for some readers. This is a walking dead fanfiction and they often follow the storyline closely. I appreciate people taking the time to read it but if they dont want to read about the walking dead tv series then this won’t be the book for them. When putting my writting on the internet I understand that i can’t please everyone. I just don’t understand why people are disappointed that im following the storyline in a fanfiction. Thanks for the review xx

I have a couple changes that my mc goes through. But its is a walking dead fanfiction so i do follow the storyline closely. I wanted to add my own character and thoughts/emotions into the scenes of the walking dead because I love the show so much. Therefore, this story may not be for some people if thats not what they are wanting to read xx

Hello! Thank you for the review and taking the time to read pretty far into it. It is a walking dead fanfiction so I did want to stick fairly close to the script and storyline because I enjoy it so much. I really just wanted to stick a pov from an outside character where you could look inside my brain on how I veiw each oc and what I would feel being in that moment with them. But I totally understand what you are saying and I appreciate the honesty xx

Very fair i often feel the same way! I dont want to spoil anything for my readers but i will say that this book is an extreme slow burn, majority of it is focused on gore and heartbreak. This book does not revolve entirely around romance and i think my steady readers can vouch for that. If you’re ever up for it, feel free to give it another shot xx

I mean it states in my book’s bio that the mc is a female, I’m not to sure why that matters if you are enjoying the book. To each their own though, thank you for giving it a shot! I will say though you are definitely missing out on some exciting twists xx

Doing that would not garauntee that Ben wouldn’t come back as a walker, which is what they didnt’t want. Also in that moment I don’t think you’d want to push your loved one off a building to save a bullet, you’d just risk it for them. My view on things, Thanks for the comment!

But I nodded as I knew he was in a lot of pain and I couldn't let him turn into the very thing that killed him. "Tell mom and dad I love them," he said as I pulled my gun out of its holder and cried harder. My hands shook as I held it, unable to keep it steady Ben grabbed my hand that was wrapped around the gun and positioned it at his forehead. "Five more minutes," Mark spoke up, breaking the peaceful silence between us. A surge of excitement rushed through me, I couldn't wait to be home. At this time Carol or T-Dog would be on the barbeque cooking up some meat for lunch, Rick and Carl would be down in the field gathering some vegetables and fruit to hand out while the meal was finishing up, and people would be gathering around and having a laugh. Things had been changing so fast lately that I hadn't ever really had time to properly mourn the death of more than half of my family. I slid down the shower wall, clutching my knees close to me, gasping for air as I choked on my tears. I covered my mouth, silencing myself in case Glenn was still in the room. It wasn't so much that I was sad or crushed at the thought of it, but instead, angry. These were tears of frustration with the world, my blood boiled when thinking about my brother. How unfair it was, that if he just made it one more hour, he could have been alive and with me now. Then I thought about my parents, their selfishness, to end it all without a second thought about their children. I knew it was my mother's idea, she was always the weaker one and she would have talked my dad into it with no problem. He was brave, a fighter, a general, yet he was a sucker for my mother, he wouldn't be able to live without her… so they did it together. - kaboo2yrReplied to TutuMega

Fear is the body's way of protecting itself from doing something that may be dangerous. Fear is a feeling that exists in all of us. Although, courage is a desire that must be attained, a characteristic that does not always come naturally. The courageous act takes self-sacrifice for the good of others or oneself, it saves lives, it gives hope. Nevertheless, you can't have one without the other.
