Thing is, it doesn’t lol. They escape and they commit more murder and tragedy and then get locked up again just to repeat the cycle. It’d actually be terrible to live in DC verse

It’s not enslaving they are simply following their beliefs like sheep. It’s their own choice I wouldn’t use the word enslaving with religion.

Check my second response, I explained I meant why write a story about after she was raped instead of just writing a story where she wasn’t raped yet or in the first place because mc saves her from that fate that was the whole intention I just worded that so wrongly and so badly it came out in a completely different direction

She worries for her grandson who is still a child and who needs her. As a loving grandmother that was more of a mother than her actual one in this story apparently.

There is no choosing wrong. Someone could literally turn around and do a full 180 and I can get where author is coming from. Someone I knew since middle school, who I thought was my closest friend, she proceeded to make a joke about my recently deceased dad, and say I’m acting weird after I get mad and then ghost me. I get where you’re coming from, and I’m sure you got lucky have made great decisions with people in your life, but sometimes it truly is that the people you thought were good turn around and change that thought.
These were just his paranoia which his family always tried to convince him otherwise. His Mother often tried to set him up with girls she thought he would like, but Marcus didn't care. They eventually gave up on the idea of grandchildren since Marcus had checked out of relationships because of the terrible experiences other men had gone through. - JuriKier1mthCommented
