I am a big fan of the historical aspect of the novel. Especially the real racism in that era. It’s a very hard part of our history and this novel portrays it well. The setting for the main character is very intriguing. A mixed homosexual in that time will have a lot of struggles. To be able to overcome the odds and achieve success will be very satisfying to read. So far I’ve enjoyed this book. It has an interesting and unique plot. I can’t wait to see more!😄
