In order to compete must get gym badges from 8 gyms the youth competition badge will have youth on the badge. Gym leaders will need three pokemon at least. 1. For youth competitors 2. For Adult competitors 3. For Gym Leader Challenge. ( Where one competes for leadership of a gym) If one beats the gym leader to become gym leader the go through an assessment and the benefits will be different then if winning the competition. The loosing gym leader will also go through an assessment for a different job posting loosing some benefits but still maintaining some as an employee
