Something "spectacular" or "wondours" or "horrendous" or whatever else "happens" in every single chapter, everything is exaggerated everything and everyone has some sort of "light" in their eyes, around them and whatever else, like "devouring light", some chapters with "battles" have lights eveyrwhere, literally in every paragraph, it's tiring to read. Author has ~5 epithets that he uses all the time for word padding that takes away from all the actions, when eveyrthing is spectacular nothing is. And adding "extremely" to the epithets doesn't make them less repetitive and more often than not redundant. I was hoping for an interesting world-hopping novel, but there is no worldbuilding or character development, the only thing that happens is the appearance of the more powerful enemies or occasional one night stand.

Started reading, every single thing happening is repeated in different words, word padding is crazy and it's just first 15 chapters. Constant retelling of the previous chapters, unnecessary repetitions of the way relevant characters look, and done in the same manner. "Chen Heng's figure was tall and straight as he walked out of the alleyway. His figure was tall and straight. He was also somewhat handsome and had white skin. As he walked out of the alleyway, combined with his unique demeanor from practising martial arts, he attracted many people's gazes." And this is just one example of many in pretty much every chapter. Really hard to stomach.

Meh juvenile comedy "oi yer a big bloke ain't ya" is not a comedy. Meh "magical realism", naming a system "goldfinger" and giving it a personality is meh, both it and MC are on the same level of stupidity just on different spectrums, one is naive retard, the other is a psycho retard. MC not being completely hopeless and dead inside after 2 years inside a disgusting stomach of a sea serpent is weird, he did neither explore the memories of the original nor became hopeless and cynical, instead he became a naive and childish retard. The kinda of trauma he should've had considering how mentally weak he is - is not just not compatible with how he acts. If you didn't read anything decent in a while you might as well read this average novel, if you read something good - just stay away. I don't know what i expected considering the name of the novel, but high rating is just misleading.

It's enjoyable, entertaining, not perfect but it does it's job. Don't remember many grammar issues, maybe it's just because i just read something really bad and now anything else seems much better, anyway if you want to read something entertaining - this is it.

Very hard to read, too many unnecessary adjectives all over the place, redundant sentences for padding in already short chapters, characters actions and how they are described are just cringe. I read some trash novels but this is somehow beyond me, and author please at least use grammarly or something to get rid of redundacies and punctuation problems. If you can stomach the way it's written - more power to you, but i just can't. I tried to give it a chance to read at least 20 chapters, but in 8th chapter the first diolgue in the "new era' after 50 years from the awakening was too much for me to continue, and i was already skipping a lot of text because it was mostly redundant to the story. If you are an unhinged MTL practitioner - then you might enjoy it tho.
