So far it is an interesting and enjoyable novel that makes me really want to see how it further develops. I love how he has developed the soul pet that he has at the moment. Even without any dialogue there has been some good characterization which makes me hopeful that the novel will continue to be of a high quality.

This is by far the best novel of this trial period. Honestly, that doesn't make it a great novel though... The novels in this trial are just all kinda garbage.

Definitely one of the more interesting ones of this batch. I like the idea of this cheat, the MC doesn't have to deal with RNG in his item drops and rewards which is a clever way to make the MC Op and unique while still potentially allowing more tension than other similar novels have. I hope the concept is well executed because so far the author is mostly just writing setup

By far the most interesting novel amongst the trial novels. The author has actually come up with a clever premise to base his world on and has provided a unique advantage to the MC without any of the typical system or goldfinger nonsense. The writing is also good and so far the setup has been well written and done a good job of both worldbuilding and character introductions. It doesn't hurt that the novel has some humor and the occasional pop culture reference.

The story is fun so far and I enjoy it more than any of the other trial reads. The story does a good job of making the MC slightly mysterious by maintaining a heavy focus on his disciples who seem to be the true central characters of the story.

The translator is an absolute moron who has totally failed to put the chapters in their proper order. Aside from that though, this is a very interesting beginning to a story. It seems to be heavily focused on the disciples and has created an interesting world in a very short amount of time. If it continues as well as it starts then it should be a lot of fun.

Its alright. There is absolutely nothing exceptional about the story so far. It is the epitome of mediocre. There are definitely better novels to be translated based on the sample chapters

The story is fun. The author has done a good job of setting up the world and creating interesting characters. The pace is excessively fast in the beginning, but it does get the story to the fun part faster. Overall it is worth a read.

Poor Fei

The story is fun to read. It is rapid paced and constantly moving forward in at least one of the major points of interest. The characters are fun to read and that combined with the rapid pacing of the overall story keeps everything fun and moving forward. However, it blatantly fails at anything approaching realism in an apocalypse, so if that will bug you then you shouldn't be reading it. The worldbuilding overall is below average even for web fiction, and it probably could be most generously described as better than the worst of fanfiction on that front. But yeah... It is a mess.

Honestly, the story is pretty funny but the rest of the story is mediocre at best. The characters are flat and uninteresting. The author does a poor job of developing the world and the pacing is all over the place. It is one of those system novels that leans on the system to do all of the work of carrying the novel because the author is incapable of writing compelling characters or creating conflict that is anything other than hamfisted nonsense.

The story is fun, the nationalism is a little obnoxious. However, there is so far no blatant racism and the nationalism isn't super virulent. The author so far has made other nations clearly have strong points and pulled from other mythos to try and build an earth that has had an energy awakening that powers up those other mythologies too. Honestly I really like the premise of the story, and would keep reading it if it is picked. So that is a bit of a recommendation I guess. I don't adore it or anything, but so far it is reasonably clever and not infuriatingly derivative. A better author could do more interesting things with the concept, but it is alright.

The novel is a lot of fun. The world is interesting and well realized so far and the author does a great job of introducing real human behavior into the world. The sect and central misunderstanding of the story are also great conflicts for the story that helps it avoid falling into some of the most common tropes. I am really enjoying the amusement of a genius inventing cultivation mostly from first principles while the sect scrambles to both keep him in it (because they need a certain number of people for the bureaucracy to recognize them as a sect) while also scrambling to do their best to support him and do right by him so he still thanks them after discovering the deception.
