"ace" or "age"?

The unnecessary flourish on most of the chapters really is starting to annoy me. Is this due to translation and just didn't bother to translate some of the parts to English?

I would like to ask is the MC meant to be evil? I've only read up to 12 currently and the MC is already unlikeable (mainly because I don't like evil MC's). What's more is that the MC is supposed to be smart, but he refuses to at least to pretend he is the "same" person as his current body ( do people with amnesia usually reject interaction?)The Mc for someone to be pretending to have lost his memories doesn't seem to care about the relationship of the former owner of the body. Well my conclusion is that the MC so far is unlikeable (death doesn't seem to affect the MC which is weird) but I'll try to read till maybe 50 chapters until it annoys me I guess hahaha.
