The Alphas' Secret Addiction
Adeline Vale has always seemed like the most precious one in the pack—the only daughter of the Beta, the cherished lover of the Alpha. But in a single night, everything changes. Her father is labelled a traitor, and she’s named his accomplice.
While she is dreading her current circumstances, a strange bond ties her to the Alpha Drystan and his half-brother Lucifer. When she is in pain, they suffer too.
The pack turns on her, convinced she’s trying to trap both the men. Drystan, believing she betrayed him again, humiliates her, torments her and parades his new lover in front of her.
While her heart is being trampled by the man she loves, someone else is watching her. Cold, unpredictable, and disturbingly fixated on her, the Alpha Prince Lucifer shields her, defends her, and worships the ground she walks on.
But the more perfect something looks, the more likely it is to be an illusion. When the illusion finally shatters, Adeline fakes her death and disappears from their world. Among humans, she starts a new life until—
The brothers crash into her life again, desperate for her forgiveness. Now, Adeline wants nothing to do with them. But fate is not done with her yet.
Old magic stirs. Long-buried truths unravel. And to survive, Adeline must stop running and face the ones who broke her.
Only this time… she won’t be their prey.
...
"Why were you talking to that human? Why did you let him touch you?" Drystan backs me into an empty classroom, "Did you forget who you belong to?"
I laugh, bitterly, "I don't belong to a man who sold me off to his subordinates..."
"What—What did you say?" Drystan flinches as if the mere thought of it is inconceivable to him.
Before I can utter another word, a strong arm wraps around my waist, "Missed me, Little wolf?" Warm lips trail greedy kisses down my neck, right in front of Drystan.
I shove the masked man away from me, "Miss you? You hid your identity from me. You manipulated me... you used me... Now, I am done with you both. This time, I will have a normal life and a normal boyfriend."
"DON'T YOU DARE!"
Despite their protests, my footsteps do not falter as I walk away from them.
