Really wish this novel had kept going. Two years later and I still find myself thinking back to the main character from time to time, and the rather interesting and unique take on his whole solar blood style of magic. While I understand the author probably has stopped working on projects, I hope I can find their work in future elsewhere.
I cant wait for skeletor to find out about these things and obsess over making the perfect one for the next century until he finally cracks time travel and makes a literal BttF DeLorean
bruh. is this all the story is? just some first person narrative about a dude sprinting from one dungeon to the next getting one stupidly overpowered ability after the other?
Seems strange it'd add the full strength bonus to that, might've made more sense at a half strength bonus or smthn
Thats.... really not the case. most fights last at most between 15 seconds to 1min, if you can completely ignore your own safety for 10 minutes it would take practically no effort to kill 30 men as long as your offensive strength is sufficient
I wonder. Perhaps the 'game' escaped the scope they initially thought it would reach and has evolved into something they no longer understand.... who knows, maybe they really did end up creating another reality they simply have become able to access
Thats what im thinking, he's now tied spiritually to both bodies, and if one permadies now so does the other, but he benefits directly from both lives and they'll start to intermingle.
As a follow up, Will would make a MUCH better faction leader besides the fact that Jake's abilities getting shared. He's got charisma, seems to be able to coordinate the group in Jake's absence way better than jake can, and actually has a plan for the future that involves people besides himself.
Agreed, sarah is a dumbass but despite what the book seems to tell us is coming, jake has shown effectively no leadership abilities and doesnt seem to be able yo coordinate or connect with people on even the most basic level.
HUZZAH! THE MADNESS RETURNS!
