I’ve Read three of Ash_knight17 books and this one makes four. And once again I’m left craving more, because I couldn’t get enough of it. Once again I was sucked into the amazing fantasy world and I wish it never ended! I loved Lillian, and her pure character and the devilishly charming Luke. And to be perfectly honest I fell for Ace too. I can also say that it was incredibly refreshing that Lilly had genuine friends of the male gender who weren’t love interests. A lot of women have male friends and in novels this always gets turned into forbidden love, so it was nice to see pure platonic love and friendship for once. This was a short read compared to her other novels, but no less enjoyable. The world building was interesting and doesn’t tie in with any of her other books that I’m aware of, but I really would like it if she had a second book in this world. I don’t regret reading this and highly recommend it!
Harems are becoming annoying to read. They add unnecessary drama, create too much cliche, and predictability. Harems ruin the plot when they become too large (in my opinion). Like so many good action-adventure fantasy novels get completely changed to romantic drama when they get up to 8 women with the MC. Again that is my opinion.
Oh my goodness!!! Shut the bedroom door cuz its getting hot in here! Okay so this story had a really nice character build up and plot build up. There were a few slow spots that were necessary for pacing but once the innocent screen was lifted this book Just exploded with excitement. Sweet romance, hot romance, mystery, thriller, action, drama, etc. this book had it all. Read it or regret it!
