I think thats exactly why he said that. The knew each other previously, so by saying that he was basically confirming who she thought he was. An irregular man just trying to be regular.

I started this novel for fun, not realizing how stressful it would be to remain consistent with my upload schedule. I do believe it’s a great story but I started off ill prepared. I don’t want to make excuses for my poor schedule, but i do want to apologize to the reader than enjoy the story so far and are constantly being left on cliff hangers for weeks until the next chapter. Any feedback is appreciated, good or bad.
