As per me, Bellatrix is a loyal crazy bitch (female dog) will do anything for her master while snape is a traitorous manchild who is not above torturing a teenage orphan after indirectly killing the said orphan's parents. And although Bellatrix is also a psycho murderer, she is not pretending to be a good Guy or anything while snape is a kind of character trying to redeem himself while not acutually acknowledging what his mistake actually is or just actively failing at it.

I agree but you are talking about greek pantheons. They backstab their families more than they backstab others.

Actually I read somewhere (either in original or fanfic) which I totally agree with that is that Devils don't know their own life span. Zerkham is the oldest devils alive who is 10,000 years old hence they assume that Devils live for atleast that much.

I think that all of these titles are something like achievement or title in games. Like you intentionally do something until you receive the title and benefits from it and then you can do whatever you want even if it's against your own title. eg: zeus has title of god of justice.
