All the characters are kind of brainless. If someone can block your all out attack without flinching...you should definitely continue to piss that person out...most definitely do that. Oh and if someone wants to kill you, let them go! Oh BTW, I have an OP artifact that is basically a small world where my women can enter freely around me...so I just leave them to hide in a dirt hole while I hunt monsters and gather materials and have them kidnapped. I definitely ask for consent before having sex with girls...but I will just severely impair their cognitive abilities to resist with my rape drug like abilities. And lastly, I don't know if it's the fault of the translator or if the actually writing is so bad...who writes like this? For example: "I really like eating at this restaurant" says Ye Chen because he really likes eating at this restaurant. The author or translator repeats every single fucking line. If this was avoided, it will reduce the amount of writing by at least 25% and annoyance from reading by 200%. This is the most ridiculous and hypocritical and sexist novel I have ever come across. I do not even know why this exist.

2nd review: The grammar (translation?) gets better. The character behavior/development improves slightly. But the grammar/writing becomes more annoying. I will make some examples: "You are very beautiful" said Ye Chen telling Nangong Xiang is very beautiful. "This food is very good" said Ye Chen praising Li Jingyi food is very good. "Go f*** yourself" said the reader telling the author to go f*** himself. You get the point...stop repeating yourself. Not sure if this is a language barrier thing or the author is shamelessly trying to increase the word count. There are still a lot of misuse of pronoun...he, she, him, and her....its not very difficult is it? Maybe this is a machine translation error? Anyways....besides these annoyances, the story does get better, but it takes a long time...like after ch 800 is when the author gets his s*** together.

I really like this novel. The only problem is that the update has pretty much stopped. The MC Chu Li is fairly OP and the novel is mostly fast paced in the beginning...and then it basically goes on hiatus for hundreds of chapters. So far, only about 1200 chapters are translated, Chu Li goes from Foundation > Innate Master > Grandmaster in a bit more than 200 chapters...and now at around 1200...he is still a Grandmaster. He has basically treaded around Grandmaster and searching for the path to being Enlightened for over 1000 chapters. According to Novel Update, this WRC has 3453 chapters and per wiki there are 6 more realms after Enlightened Master...so...a third or more of the novel is spent at 1 realm...talk about drawing out the story.

What was the reason for the Immortality buff? Because of the first kill? Is there going to be other buffs? That is truly OP.

Ehh...so he doesn't feel the pain that caused his death? What about poison and burning? Just started reading chapter one, not sure if this is addressed later. But without the pain from death...how does it temper his will? (cliche tempering of the will!)
