I can say it's possible though I haven't heard anything. From what I have heard the author ran out of planned plot around chapter 500 this, unfortunately, means that it isn't likely for another part at least not any time soon. I could be wrong, however, I don't know if I would even be willing to read a part two or a continuation of this ending as it was truly disappointing for me.

This is an amazing book and up until today was one of my favorite reads as the build-up is great and there is suspense at times. Unfortunately, the author either got bored, busy, or just plain lazy. This story was great and the ending was one of the most disappointing ones I have ever read. The author made the characters and world come alive and instilled imagery well... which is why I can not be more disappointed that the ending was sloppy and rushed. This story could have gone another 50-100 chapters and been ended properly instead of (spoiler) a shotgun wedding and a well-developed character (Night tide sands) having the child of the main character from a drunken scene that doesn't truly fit the characters to that point. I hope others will read and enjoy the story as much as I up till the end and that they can come to terms better with the ending than me because though this was great I feel I have wasted so much time reading this.

This is a good read and the quality is consistent as are the characters. The background could be better fleshed out and it could be less cliche but its the type of read that makes it work.

I love this book and I love the idea behind it. This type of book deserves more attention and definitely has the potential to be great! I hope that anyone reading this knows what I am talking about and agrees or takes my word for it and reads this.

The book has a lot of potential at forty chapters. The main character has a decent head. The descriptions are good and so is the quality of writing.
