The Authors writing style makes it feel like they're a non-native english speaker who kind of knows English, but is using a bad translator. There's is a lot of awkward phrasing and obtuse dialogue. It's wordy in a bad way, as the characters angst and drama doesn't flow. Each paragraph is like a sentence when properly worded. This is hard to read. The characters are very one dimensional so far, and we hardly have any backstory to the main character or his history with the female lead other than a sentence explaining how they met in a game. It feels rushed but with awkward dialogue it becomes lengthy while feeling rushed.

So far his inner monologue has been the most pathetic, unobservant and judgemental I've ever seen. He's endlessly judgemental and unobservant almost as if he's a reader commenting on situations, but he's not anymore and he hasn't been for almost 2 months. I understand you're setting something up, but if your goal was to make us hate the MC, and want his utter demise you've succeeded.

Three heads Six arms is a common trope in Chinese xianxia. I've personally seen it in over 30 novels. I think Coiling Dragon and Desolate Era come to mind.
