One of the best and the only 'realistic' martial arts novel I have ever read. No xianxia/wuxia bullsh*t, no Qi, Chi, Internal energy, Mana. Though the martial realms of the power system are distinct and progressive, there is no heavenly tribulation bullsh*t. The best thing I like about the power system is that power is only achieved by those who really and really want it, talent can not take you very far. Hence, no arrogant young masters in the upper realms.
