Because despite the plot hugging part, everything was good enough. The grammar, word flow, and the facts are good but the problem was that the mc wants and cares about things but keeps on finding excuses not to do something because of the plot hug. Plus despite his presence things still develop as the original story did.

I had a feeling but it really turned out that you don't know the whole plot of arifureta. This novel have a lot of plot holes pertaining on the reason why they were summoned, why Ehit wants to summon heroes, why Yue's uncle was forced to imprisoned his beloved niece, why the original Nagumo and Yue can instant cast, and it's funny that you think Nagumo needed the creation magic to create Guns and stuff. He already had guns before he even met Yue. Did he somehow get Creation magic before that?? Please review the original work before.

You don't really miss anything big even if you've never watched the original shows. The only thing that was not mentioned was how intense Dom and his crew's loyalty to family and the fact that the intersect is a shades looking tech with the ability to download the whole database of the CIA in the mind of anyone who uses it. But there's a catch, not everyone can synchronize completely with it. There is a limit on how much you can download from it. At least that's how I remember it, it's been a long time since I last watched it. There was also the fact that the maker of the intersect was Chuck's father and the reason he got kicked off Stanford was because his "friend" orchestrated it to get him off the qualifications in the intersect project.
