Ancient Gene

A group of friends found out about the apocalypse through an accident. The world was ending because of the effects of World War 3. In order to save the world, the government made a way to balance the world of their energies back to its state back when the first humans roamed the earth. They didn't know that humans now are different. We are not pure as are ancestors were that is why some of us lost the "ancient gene". People who didn't have it died and became zombies.
