Feels like Webnovel is becoming more barren with not only ok translators but users as well. I have been here since 2017 and I just stopped coming when Quidians greet outstripped even quality, would rather read MTL. Even at it's best time period they had MTL tier novels that they charged you for. Hell even some of the novels I paid to read have been locked because they changed their system over and over

Hiding his achievement seems so typical of a Chinese author I'm somewhat at a loss, it would be more interesting if he owned up to it unlike 99% of other novel MCs

Shaming doesn't = bad

I have read the MTL up to chapter 900 and while it's a good novel THERE IS SO MUCH UNNECESSARY fighting and it feels very dragged after like chapter 500. Feels like the past 400 chapters did very little for the story overall. A lot of "MC IS SO HANDSOME, MC IS SO GREAT, MC CAN DO ANYTHING" I do like his style in general and he's a pretty nice MC but most of the things that should be emotional are handled with comedy and kinda ruins it for me. MC loves wearing a mask, hiding his identity I'd say 60% of the time it's not annoying, but the last 40% it's so frustrating I wanted to drop several times even though a lot of the hiding makes sense. It's just YEARS of hiding with word poop on word poop. Overall I DO recommend this novel and the translation is great

A really enjoyable fanfic, I don't really like reviewing things as I find it hard to put my thoughts on "paper" but this is legit good and I want to show my support. A lot of dialogues in Originals is bad, but the ones in this isn't grating and feels more professional and natural which I really appreciate. There are some spelling errors but it's a minor issue. I need to see a more fleshed out story to be able to judge how close it will be to the original later on but so far so good!

It's really a great story, but a lot of it reads like translated MTL and some writing is veeeeeery awkward. Dialogues are the same, it's not that the dialogues are bad per say they're just phrased very weirdly and riddled with errors, the author should really have an editor clean it up. I have only read about 1/4th of the story and I hope it improves later on. All in all, I will probably read this til the end and hope it improves because the foundation of the story is very strong and can only improve

Only reason you made your character 14 is so you could pair him up with younger girls, but when you're pairing him up with adults it quickly becomes the most unhinged shit. One can accept the situation easier when it comes to Hollywood/rich people as some of them have a weird world perception, skewed morals or practically no principles. But comes off as disgusting when it's every other woman in it. Like Harvey lawyer chick slicking her lips seductively looking at a 14 year old. Get a grip Not every female interaction needs to be provocative. If you're doing it because you're afraid your audience would leave if you kept it more toned down you don't have to. Your writing is good and interesting enough for that not to happen. It's just low hanging fruit Character dialogue, characterization is top tier. I won't mention the erotica much because I was mostly just skimming it, it reads like your average visual novel "OMG IT'S BIG" type deal imo. World background is standard, idk what other worlds will collide since Abby based off of NCIS, but the rest of her cast etc isn't part of her story, but big bang theory cast is taking place as normal. The LIFE CORP shit should just not be in it, it's worse than bad its Badooring. The Gatcha part of the story just seems like duct taped onto the story and not really very well planned. It works for what it is but yeah. All In all, I really enjoy the writing even with it's faults as I've pointed out from my perspective. Laughed quite a few times. Somethings feel kinda forced but anyone reading this review, I'd give the story a shot as even a picky guy like me who generally don't read Originals could still enjoy the story

Abby being introduced was too abrupt to the point where it felt like it was written at a later point in the story and goes against his loner background to before "he" became Edward

In my personal preference it's a 5/5 and the translator puts more quality writing in this that it should shame a huge part of the paid translators on this site. The subjectmatter is very dear to me as I love Greek Mythology The only flaw of this book is that the MC is a bit of a Gary Stu, everyone kinda just like him (mostly that's why he's only kind of a Gary Stu). Story is about Jason from Jason and The Argonauts but the body was taken by a transmigrator when he's studying under Chiron the Centaur. He desperetly fights against the fate where he dies due to the designs of the gods. Characters are mostly true to themselves, but it's hard to tie some of them to their own myths as they act very nicely in compairison. Though it might be due to the fact that Jason just is that likable. The Gods and Heroes do really act very differently when it's someone they actually like as opposed to the ones they hate or dislike. Anyways, I think that not only those intersted in gods, myths or the like should pick up and read this, but everyone that likes something well written should read it

Good writing stacked upon an interesting main character, while it's too soon to comment on much, just based off of what we've seen thusfar I can at least see a future in this FF and I'm hopeful for it
