Stuffed a leather case the size of a gun into his boxers???
I give full stars for the story itself, but the translation really has much to be desired. I've already read the entire raw novel, but stumbled across this... subpar translation. For anyone who wants the raw title, it's: 怀了重生的反派崽崽[快穿]
I've finally caught up after taking a break of reading this novel, and reading this new arc has made me realize again why I loved reading your writing. Please continue with your amazing work! (Tbh, I feel kind guilty over generalizing your novel because I was tired of cliches, I'm sorry)😅
I've thought it over after reading your reply and I feel like it wasn't your novel that got me to quit the genre, but yours was just the last straw. I'm just tired of reading about a weak, effeminate, always shorter than the gong, Mary Sue(so effeminate they're not even a Gary Stu), someone who can't live without their gong coming to save the day, the most 'beautiful'(specifically not 'handsome') person walking the earth, fainting at every turn, practically a women in all but their lower half, sometimes even their lower half because some can give birth, type of shous. You can see how exasperated I was from how long that description was, wow. I just can't stand the genre anymore with how common these tropes are. I just feel like saying to these MCs, please just act like a normal man would... it's so irritating when I finally find a normal person among effeminate shous, then they suddenly turn into one of these tropes in front of the gong. So it wasn't your novel specifically that was so "horrible" lol. I just need a break from the genre. Idk, it's probably my personal problem. I hate feeling weak or helpless at all, so when the protagonist is for longer than like 10-20 chapters, I just quit it. In this novel, it was just a side character that was weakened(btw in my opinion) so I'll probably check back for the next arc, by then the the problems I have should be resolved. Thank you for your kind reply, happy holidays!
I've loved this story ever since I read the first couple chapters, all the way up to somewhere in the middle of the third arc. But the story started to drag a lot after that. Some side couple characters also are drastically changed to fit their roles stereotypes, like the shou becoming weaker emotionally and the gong somehow being stronger although they are crippled. This novel, I don't know what it is about it, just made me quit reading BL for a while. I guess I'm just tired of said relationship role cliche. I'm probably not going to read this anytime soon either. Maybe later, when I'm mentally ready to be metaphorically slapped in the face with BL cliches haha...
If he could, I feel like it would go like this. "A spider!" *nukes the city off the map* "...oops."
Every POV chapter is so philosophical that the MC just appears even more thoughtless in contrast...
Lol, but the bizarre names you listed before weren't?
Adventure Time reference...?
I see what you sneaked in there, author...😏
