After getting married to Xing Yuanhang, she had been working hard to run her own company and it had been doing well.

Zhou Yun shook her head.
Xiang Wan: "Try to recall again."
Zhou Yun shook her head again. "I really couldn't remember anything."
There was no useful information from her at all.
Xiang Wan pinned her hopes on that 'grey list' that the Dark Clan was managing.
However, the mobility of the current population was too high. In that list, those people who registered left their online names, and the contact information were their social accounts. Even if the intelligence team worked overtime with the Cyber police and other relevant departments in order to classify and categorize them, it was impractical to expect that they could get everything done in these couple of hours.
In view of that, Xiang Wan tried to speed things up in her own way.
She listed down all social relations of both Zhou Yun and Xing Yuanhang.

Xing Feifei had come in contact with that shady website and had a direct relationship with the victim in this case.
She quickly told Bai Muchuan about this. Qi Canghai also set out immediately and found Xing Feifei in no time…
The young girl was so frightened that she was trembling in fear.
They need not use much interrogation tactics on her and she came clean about why she had done that.

As Gou Qing was older by a few years, he was much more mature than her. She shared with him her troubles and he told her that she could take revenge on that vixen, salvage her parents' marriage and protect her family. He also told her that he knew of a website that enforces justice as their goal. Many like-minded people like him and her were using the method to punish the evildoers.
Gou Qing was the full name of one of the young men that got caught by the police at the cement factory.
He was also one of the key members in the Dark Clan.
He was an articulate person with a glib tongue. An 18-year-old girl like Xing Feifei was too easy to be brainwashed.
Xing Feifei bit the bait and found her 'worth' on that website…
She posted her story on that website, telling others about how her dad behaved like a scum, as well as that shameless vixen. She made friends and received a lot of support from this group of new friends.
After receiving so much encouragement and support, Xing Feifei decided to teach Zhou Yun a good lesson.
And so, that seemingly omnipotent friend, Gou Qing, not only gave her the drug, he also managed to contact Zhou Yun's best friend for her.
That best friend was also a participant in that 'grey list' and expressed that she disapproved of what Zhou Yun had done. That best friend did not even hesitate to help her out.
That day was the date that Xing Feifei had chosen to act.
Xiang Wan and Bai Muchuan came back to Jin City that day; the wonderful atmosphere of the Reunion Dinner… All these were provoking her nerves. She really hated Zhou Yun to the core for ruining her family. The only thing that she didn't expect was that Zhou Yun would come to look up her dad after consuming the drug. She also didn't expect that the effect of the drug was so terrifying. That was not what Gou Qing had described to her at all.
She's naive!
Xiang Wan asked again, "Have you heard about Operation Heaven's Wrath?"
"Operation Heaven's Wrath?" Xing Feifei shook her head. "Nope."
"Gou Qing never told you about that?"

Nevertheless, the Xing Family had invited too many relatives over for Reunion Dinner. As Tan Yuechun had initially thought that this might be the last Lunar New Year she had with the Xing Family if she couldn't salvage her marriage, she invited a lot of relatives to her place. Due to that, there were bound to be some of them who refused to heed the police's advice. They had taken pictures of Zhou Yun under the influence of the 'zombie' drug, where she bit relentlessly without letting go. They posted such pictures in their social media accounts so as to get the attention they wanted.
In view of that, news of the 'zombie' case appearing in Jin City became a hot topic of discussion.
And in no time, it took the city by storm.
The netizens also dug out the previous 'zombie' cases that happened in the Capital.
That caused anxiety and panic amongst the public.
Xiang Wan was ill at ease when she saw all kinds of posts relating to the 'zombie' case popping out on the internet.

"Hello!" His deep and steady voice always gave her a sense of security and stability.
"Bai Muchuan, do you think they would bring forward their plans?" Xiang Wan was standing in a cold corridor. Her voice was gentle but strong. "To a certain extent, the police has thwarted Operation Heaven's Wrath. It's no longer possible for them to create a massive 'zombie' operation across the country… So, do you think An Ying might behave like a cornered beast and do something desperate without waiting for Lunar New Year's Eve?"
They certainly would.
Bai Muchuan held the same view as her.
Otherwise, why would he let Quan Shaoteng be on standby?

Translator Review:
This is a novel encompassed with mystery, ethics, family ties, and romance. Of course, the highlights of this book are the murder cases. 
Although it’s a modern setup where none of the characters have a system or any other cheats, the Author managed to delight me with her writing, creative plots and a good pace without dragging her story. 
I marvel at the way the Author links up the clues and plot to explain the individual cases as well as paving the way to unravel the huge conspiracy behind the individual murders. Romantic plots are light-hearted so readers could take a breather from the plots of gruesome murders.

Two hours after the battle has started.
BOOOOOM!!! BOOOOOMM!!!
Two consecutive explosion sounds could be heard echoing from the north and south side of Sydney city, signifying the complete destruction of the two connecting bridges leading to the city center.
With the destruction of the two bridges, the center of attack for the zombie hordes moved to just three points. Even though that meant the zombie horde would focus their attacks on those three points, the limited terrain and small areas to protect made it easy for Sydney's army to effectively deploy their limited number of soldiers. 
But in just two hours of combat, of the 10 battalions on the entire battlefield that came face to face with the zombie hordes, except for the 11th and 12th battalions that had their own job, each had lost 10 - 20 percent of its members on average. These statistics truly illustrate how cruel and terrifying the battle was this time.
The highest number of casualties occurred at the Sydney Gate's defense line, whose protected area stretched for more than 3 kilometers, which was relentlessly flooded by thousands of zombies.
Inside a tall building that is temporarily used as a command center, a male officer with a 3 star insignia embroidered on his shoulder was seen rushing into the room. A man watched the captain who had suddenly entered and spoke.
"What happened, captain? What's with the rush?" said the man calmly.
"C-Colonel Angus, the defense line can not last much longer." said the captain breathlessly because of his run earlier.
The Sydney Gate's 3 kilometers defense line has been guarded by 6 battalions. 6 battalions means that 6 thousand soldiers are simultaneously holding back the zombie horde. So theoretically, that 3 kilometers line was manned by 2 fighters per meter, which under normal circumstances was enough to deal with normal monsters especially when every soldier was at least an Earth realm fighter.
Unfortunately, the current situation that they were facing was not normal at all. The number of zombies invading the defensive line was 10 times more than the number of troops assigned to guard. Their numbers are simply not comparable.
After 2 hours of non-stop fighting, most of the soldiers had fired all of their bullets and could only start using the tier 1 and tier 2 artifacts at their disposal. Which means that the combat strategy has slowly begun to shift from long range attacks where soldiers suppress and injure hordes of zombies using their firearms to close combat where casualties are more frequent.
If this current condition persisted and no changes were made, there was a high chance that these 6 thousand soldiers would definitely be physically and mentally destroyed in the next 1 hour. And what happened next after the destruction of the army was the doomed Sydney city and its citizens.
Colonel Angus stepped onto the balcony of the room he now occupied while the captain stood there at the table. He quickly cast his gaze towards the distant battlefield that was filled with smokes and various faint sounds of battle. His gaze was filled with worry, worried about their uncertain fate in this battle.
He suddenly remembered the words of that colonel from Indonesia who said that they would not last more than 4 hours if they continued to carry out the strategy they had planned. He shuddered at the thought of what their fate would be if they didn't blow up the two bridges and stubbornly defended it. He hated to admit how accurate the man's prediction was.
The colonel then noticed a red smoke rising from one of the posts. A signal indicates that the squad guarding the place has failed to guard the post and the zombies will immediately break through the defensive line.
"Captain, come here!" shouted Colonel Angus.
"Yes, Colonel?" replied the captain as he walked to the balcony.
Colonel Angus pointed his finger at the red smoke and said "Hurry and send 2 squads there to fill in the gap!"
Turning his head in the direction the colonel was pointing at, the captain quickly replied while giving a military salute. "Yes, sir!"
The captain immediately left the room to organize the reinforcements. Seeing the situation, Colonel Angus could not help but sigh helplessly. 'We are doomed…'
They no longer have any reserve troops that can be deployed. Nearly all of the 12th Battalion, which was supposed to guard the rearguard and headquarter, was sent to the Sydney Gate battlefield to close the gap.
The Colonel squeezed his frowning forehead and laughed wryly at himself. "4 hours? It's a miracle to last 3 hours."
He shook his head and was about to continue when he saw two red smoke appearing at the posts. The sight made him laugh wryly in his heart, bringing enormous frustration. The colonel was just about to step in and help out in person when he suddenly saw 3 more red smoke rising from other posts.
The problem the Sydney Gate faced was that the defensive area was a line, meaning that to defend the Sydney Gate they needed to spread their army widely which made their limited number of troops a problem. Because when one of the posts inside the defensive line was broken, they had to fill in the gap immediately so the zombie horde could not penetrate that point.
When the defensive line is breached and the zombies rush through the broken point, the horde can choose to attack the army from their side or behind which is a really dangerous situation. So it would be better for the Sydney army to retreat when the defensive line is broken.
The appearance of another 3 red smokes brought the feeling of helplessness to the Colonel's firm heart. The colonel could only shook his head again and was ready to give the order to retreat when he saw the 11th Battalion led by the colonel from Indonesia coming to help from behind in the distance.
"They are finally here!" said the colonel with a sigh of relief
Arief and his 100 Special Death Squad soldiers have reached the mid stage of Sky realm stage before this. Led by them, the 11th Battalion charged forward, jumped over the roof of the buildings and began to cut down and kill all the zombies who crossed the line.
Several flashes of artifacts can be seen as Arief and his men bulldoze through the zombies using their various artifacts, mowing them down as easily as wild grasses. Colonel Angus was amazed at how effortless it was for Arief and his team to clean up the zombie hordes.
Not long after, the Colonel, who was still amazed, noticed the sudden appearance of the shadow of the building he was in, even though the sun was supposed to be above his head. He immediately turned around and saw in the window a bright ray of light appeared behind the building where he was currently. The light was so bright that the shadows of the buildings were very dark but strangely it did not hurt his eyes.
Colonel Angus quickly walked over to the window and saw another two bright lights. The three bright rays then formed into 3 rows and before long, a barrier with a translucent blue glow covered the 3 kilometer long area behind the Sydney Gate.
Colonel Angus suddenly realized that Colonel Arief was already beside him without him noticing. He almost cleaved the man with his ax artifact due to how surprised he was.
"W-What the..? Since when were you here?" asked the Colonel, putting away his ax.
"Just now." answered Arief calmly.
"Thank you for coming and the timely assist. Was that the barrier that was mentioned earlier?"
"Yeah"
"That's amazing. But, why did you put it at the back of the line?" asked Colonel Angus, puzzled.
"I did that to make sure we could fight without worrying that the zombies that had passed us could harm civilians." Arief answered.
Nodding at the man's words, Colonel Agus breathed a sigh of relief. "That's great." However, he suddenly realized something and asked. "But… doesn't that mean we're stuck here with them?"
"Correct"
"W-Why?" Colonel Angus in confusion.
Glancing at the man, Arief opened his mouth. "Colonel Angus, these zombies will not stop until all of us are eliminated. Don't you agree with what I said?"
"Ahh… Yes, I agree." answered the man with an awkward nod.
Arief continued his words. "And that barrier could not hold on forever." 
Colonel Angus was silent when he heard that. Looking at the man, Arief patted his shoulder and said.
"Don't worry, Colonel. We will have more barriers soon."
Right after Arief finished speaking, two bright lights appeared again and penetrated the cloud. It then formed the same barrier on the right and left of the Sydney Gate area, leaving only a 1 kilometer gap in the Sydney Gate defensive line.
"There you go, Colonel. We have succeeded. Now, we need to focus the remaining soldiers from the 6 battalions into that 1 kilometer gap."
Colonel Angus was speechless when he saw what was happening before his eyes. At that instant, the sense of helplessness and frustration he felt instantly vanished as relief took over. With the appearance of the barrier, the area that needed to be defended was reduced, allowing the military to deploy 5 to 6 soldiers per meter to guard the defensive line. He can also start doing a wave strategy whereby the 6 battalion soldiers split into two and defend alternately.
Arief then said. "My job is done."
Colonel Angus hurriedly turned and said. "Yes,you have my gratitude. You just saved countless lives with these barriers, Colonel. But, what are you going to do now?"
Arief pulled out a giant sword from his storage ring and said.
"I'm going to the front line now. I need more exercise."
Before Colonel Angus could answer back, the middle aged man had already jumped from the fifth floor and ran towards the front line with a calm smile on his face.
Arief really wanted to run forward and break through the zombie horde, looking for the stage 5 zombie who was thought to be the mastermind of this attack, but the safety of the soldiers came first. 
And, it might be a good idea to wait for Alex and Jerry's team to arrive.

KOMPAS.com - Film zombie memang termasuk dalam kategori fiksi. Tapi, bagi pencinta film zombie, tentu Anda pernah membayangkan zombie muncul dalam kehidupan Anda, lalu sama seperti di film, Anda akan berusaha bertahan hidup dan memenangkan pertarungan. Rupanya menonton film zombie bukan hanya menghibur, penelitian baru dari Penn State University menunjukkan, bahwa menonton film zombie, serta horor dan Sci-Fi, kemungkinan telah membantu beberapa orang untuk lebih siap menghadapi kenyataan pahit pandemi Covid-19 sejak awal tahun 2020 dan masih berlangsung hingga sekarang. Studi tersebut menemukan, orang-orang yang menikmati film horor menunjukkan memiliki tingkat stress lebih rendah selama lockdown untuk menekan penyebaran Covid-19, sementara mereka yang menonton film bertema survival lebih siap menghadapi pandemi.
Melansir IFL Science, penemuan ini telah dipublikasikan di jurnal Personality and Individual Differences dan dapat membantu kita memahami, bagaimana hiburan yang kita nikmati diterjemahkan ke dalam aplikasi dunia nyata. "Setelah memfaktorkan pengaruh kepribadian, yang sebenarnya cukup kuat, kami menemukan bahwa semakin banyak film tentang zombie, invasi alien, dan pandemi apokaliptik yang pernah ditonton sebelum Covid-19, maka semakin baik mereka menghadapi pandemi yang sebenarnya," kata Profesor John Johnson, Penn State University, dalam sebuah pernyataan. "Dari temuan ini, tampaknya film bisa berfungsi sebagai latihan mental untuk menghadapi peristiwa nyata," lanjutnya. Dengan melibatkan 310 peserta, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah individu yang senang menonton film horor dan pandemi di masa lalu dan sekarang, bernasib lebih baik selama masa-masa sulit pandemi Covid-19. Setiap peserta mengisi kuesioner tentang preferensi film mereka, khususnya seberapa besar mereka menikmati film zombie, horor, dan invasi alien. Mengikuti pertanyaan-pertanyaan ini, mereka kemudian menyelesaikan kuesioner lain yang dirancang untuk mengukur perasaan mereka selama pandemi yang sedang berlangsung. Setiap peserta harus menjawab seberapa kuat mereka setuju / tidak setuju dengan pernyataan seperti "Saya lebih mudah tersinggung dari biasanya" dan "Saya merasa positif tentang masa depan".
Temuan menunjukkan, bahwa penggemar film prepper atau survival lebih siap menghadapi pandemi dan mengalami dampak negatif yang lebih minim pada kehidupan mereka selama periode tersebut, meskipun tidak ada korelasi dengan seberapa tangguh mereka secara psikologis. Penggemar film horor juga menunjukkan efek yang baik, mereka memiliki tekanan psikologis yang jauh lebih rendah jika dibandingkan dengan orang kebanyakan. Meski film-film ini dibuat hanya untuk hiburan, bukan tak mungkin, film-film itu juga berkontribusi untuk membuat orang lebih tahan terhadap perubahan gaya hidup yang signifikan – meski sedikit meniru apa yang mereka lihat di layar. Namun demikian, ini bukan untuk mengatakan bahwa film horor akan membuat Anda menjadi terminator yang tak terhentikan saat ada kondisi buruk.
Penulis juga mencatat, bahwa perbedaan yang terlihat di atas juga bisa menjadi faktor alternatif - korelasi yang tak berarti penyebabnya. Bahkan, mungkin juga film semacam itu berdampak negatif pada beberapa orang lainnya. "Saya tidak yakin, jika menonton film seperti itu baru dilakukan sekarang, akan membantu situasi kita saat ini," kata Johnson. Namun, Johnson mengatakan, pemahaman tentang pandemi dan peristiwa lain yang menantang hidup adalah bahwa tantangan serupa di masa depan benar-benar tidak dapat dihindari. "Masa lalu sering kali dilupakan dengan mudah. "Ugh"  oh wait nvm it's Saturday. 3 minutes later..

'Nope yup once I wake up I can't go back to sleep again. *sighs*

'Welp Josie, get your ass up'

I slowly get up from bed and go do the daily necessities. I go to my kitchen(both girls have their one kitchen) and start making my own food. Yes I can cook, it's one of the things I learned in my previous life cause I wanted to please my fiancé and I pressed my "friends". I started cooking the average American meal. Egg, mash potatoes, and bacon. With some sweet peas on the side. I prepared myself some iced tea and sat down at the table. I rummage through my phone to find anything interesting. 

2 minutes later. 'My god! Absolutely nothing that piques my interest' 

I scream and scold google before finding something.

"Hmm what's this?"

I tap on the website before finding one video. I click on it and a video of a-'tf a zombie?' The the person in the video has rotting skin and is bound by shackles.

'Shackles?' 

I look around and notice that it seems as if it is in some sort of ward. 

Spiked white walls. A bloodied white carpet. 'Everything is so white!'

I continue watching and see the door open. The zombie as if alerted quickly ran towards the door before the shackles dragging it down again.

The figures has a white coat and and a helmet on. 

'- doctor? No a scientist? You mean to tell me the zombies didn't just spawn from thing air? That the so called virus didn't just rapidly spread?...what the hell is going on' 

Everything that the government said to us I never thought it to be false but the video. It can also be just special effects and can be from a movie or series that a company is planning on filming but..*gasps*

"Oh my god...it's him"

The figure takes of their helmet allowing me to clearly see their face. 

'It's doctor Albert!'

"Holy mother of-" 

My eyes widen as I recall what the man said to me previously before he passed 

"Josie things aren't what they seem. Don't blindly trust in the military, the government, heck not even doctors like me. They're hiding a big secret dear. So keep to yourself"

With that the man left me amidst all the chaos.

Recalling the scene my eyes couldn't help but water.
After the betrayal from everyone I held close to my heart. I planned on committing suicide. That's when Doctor Albert Gonzalez found me. He stopped me from committing and from that day in we became the father daughter duo. 

We were lowly at first and then came out on top of everyone.sadly it's also one of the reason him and I died. Although I died later.

I looked back at the video and continued watching. 
There is see Albert approaching the zombie. He takes out a shot from his coat pockets and stabs it into the zombie's chest.

Of course the zombie had some sort of muzzle in its mouth cause ain't no way my father(she considers him the father she never had) would dare approach a zombie knowing full well it can bite his head off. 

'Was this video also taken in my previous life?'I couldn't help but wonder.

But I also couldn't help but wonder if this video was leaked...and if so by whom? 

The video ended with the zombie going berserk before finally quieting down. Albert approached where the camera was a put a shushing gesture towards the camera. The video ended with that and I stopped paying attention to my phone.

I showered and brushed my hair and teeth again before dressing into some very cheap pair of jeans and a shirt with an alpaca on it. I put some light blue clippers in my hair before leaving my natural hair(curly) like what it is. I let it down and look at myself in the vanity mirror. I like the way I like before evaluating the total expenses of my look.

Expensive for a humble worker but these clothes and items were one of the cheapest in the store. Well there is the thrift store but...what if someone died in those clothes.

*shudders* just thinking about it makes me shiver.

I walk out to dorm and out the school building. I go to the nearby park.
Surprisingly there are no children running around...only students.

This is so bizarre. In my past life I never came here so I don't know what's going on.

I go up to a student and tell them why I see no child here.

"Of course you wouldn't see no kid running around. This is the school's park. In fact the school owns every single property in the span of 125 miles"

'Eh I though it would at least be 500 miles but I guess not'

I thank them before leaving the park. 






I wrote this story as an inspiration off of Claire Bennett from Heroes. This character will be about a lady (24 years) who was reincarnated into the body of a teenage girl (16 years) named Josie Alvador who had an immortal body. If she had a system her stats would all be maxed out. Including her mental ability. Everything about her is godly. Except for the fact that unlike other teens in this zombie apocalypse she doesn’t have fantasy like powers such as, a system like most reincarnated folks have, fire, lava(magma, water, ice, etc you know the deal. But that’s exactly what makes her so special because although she doesn’t have any fantasy powers she does have a space. And adding that to the many things she has that makes her immortal, it just makes her character more op but less interesting. That’s how all of my characters are and I think that’s the reason barely anyone reads lol. But enough about that I hope you enjoy.

The screams and stampede of feet reach Shoichi, right through the walls of his house and straight into his head, conjuring scenes of horror and gore mostly copied from slasher films and…well…zombie movies.

Shoichi's sister hasn't stopped crying since her panicked phone call to her boyfriend cut off abruptly. His mother is doing slightly better, rushing around the house to collect last minute supplies, while his father is trying to gather the sports equipment previously abandoned in the garage to use as weapons.

Shoichi himself has a backpack with his laptop but he's foregone any supplies or weapon or any kind of panic really. It seems that even his usual stomach aches have disappeared under the force of his complete and utter belief that he won't last the day.

It's been a few hours since the first trickle of information came through about a new virus, highly infectious and fatal. The news skipped past it quickly, uncaring, and moved on to a story about baby giraffes.

Stretched over the next day were reports about a few isolated incidences of cannibalism. That struck a chord with the geek inside Shoichi and he immediately started researching it only to find nothing at all about the cause. He tried searching for that news segment again but even the official website had no mention – like someone took out the announcement.

So he turned to the chat rooms.

And had a stomach ache.

The people were frantic and terrified, posting desperate cries for help and pictures of stumbling, bloodied figures who leapt on anything they could get between their teeth.

It was the zombie fucking apocalypse.

He rushed down the stairs and screamed for his family to pack the essentials before stumbling to the kitchen and snatching up a wickedly sharp butcher's knife. This was around the time that his father half tackled him to get the knife away and then dragged him to the couch to explain.

So Shoichi laid out the information and his family rolled their eyes, citing that strangers on the internet weren't exactly the most trustworthy sources and that it was probably a prank. He calmed down enough to think it through, but that didn't explain the news website.

His sister gets the call from her boyfriend then, and things kind of spiral. The TV channels cut out and get replaced with an official declaring that people should stay indoors and that the situation is under control.

It's quite obviously not.

Emergency services are overwhelmed with calls and the streets are flooded with cars getting out of Namimori and people looting stores for supplies.

Shoichi's mother, the only one who watches C-rate horror films with him, declares that staying in the house is tantamount to suicide. That was an hour ago, but the family always thinks of new things to pack or situations to plan for and nothing gets done.

The curtains, drawn tight, shudder as something hits the glass of the window. They freeze. The slam comes again, and again, and again.

Shoichi sits down on the couch and sighs. He's had a good run, really.

Then the window shatters, curtains ripping as the bloodied figure with milky-white eyes and deep red sludge pouring out of its mouth falls through.

His parents kick into gear. His father shoves baseball and cricket bats into their hands and his mother simply drops the packs, deemed a dead weight, and orders them out the back door in a stern voice as she approaches the thing missing a whole leg and a large portion of the torso.

Shoichi follows orders at a lazy stroll, his sister beside him and finally not crying anymore – instead, she's screaming. Their father reaches back to grab her arm in comfort, other hand clutching tightly at the baseball bat.

They move quickly through the backyard and reach the fence. Shoichi's mother strides across the garden after them, white blouse splattered with red, and soon the last defence between them and the insanity is unlocked.

They break into a sprint when they reach the road, ducking and weaving around anyone they encounter. Cars are abandoned, doors half open and even bodies still strapped in with chunks taken out of them. People are calling out for loved ones, the same names repeating over and over, or they're dating past with bags full of food and medical supplies.

They encounter a few…infected as Shoichi blindly follows his father. Most ignore them, content with the half devoured food they already have, while some rush past and tackle the unfortunate ones.

Their luck runs out when they take a left into a side street, just a narrow passage meant to cut time when walking, blockaded by two high walls.

A group of three take the corner at a run and charge the family with teeth snapping. Shoichi's father turns back in panic, shoving his children ahead, but an even larger group of five come from the other end, slamming into the wall in their haste to turn down the small walkway. They topple over each other, and the snapping of bone cuts through the air, but all of them are up again not half a second later.

Three of the redheads take up solid stances, with weapons raised. Shoichi, on the other hand, watches this all with glazed eyes. He knows they're out numbered, that none of them are fit enough to out run the zombies, and not important enough to be rescued.

His mother takes down one and his sister swings at a second, while his father tries his best to coat the ground with grey matter. But it's eight against four and they're already struggling.

Shoichi raises his cricket bat in time to shove it between the teeth of one, and gets slammed back against the wall for all his trouble. The strength is incredible and Shoichi grits his teeth, ducking when a half chewed hand lashes out at his head.

He twists his head to the side so he doesn't have to look at it, pressing back against the wall as hard as he can to avoid those teeth. Globs of red gore splatter across his face as the zombie jerks and slams itself against the bat.

Shoichi has already acknowledged he's going to die, but right now the only thing he can think of is his desperation to live.

His mind kicks in, thinking of any weapons he has on him; which is a firm dead end because the bat is being chewed through currently . He wipes that away, bracing his shoulders and locking his arms against the creature.

He locks onto people instead. His family runs by his thoughts but over the zombie's shoulder he sees them in much the same position as he is – cornered and hopeless.

So Shoichi expands. He flicks through neighbours and school mates before landing on the Disciplinary Committee. Perfect. He calculates in a split second and slams his knee up into the zombie's thigh, shoving the leg out further just so he has the room to stomp down on the side of the zombie's knee in an almost exact copy of a take-down last Wednesday.

The crack resounds through the shortcut and the zombie topples to the side – not down, not by a long shot. However, before he can raise the bat for a killing blow, another almost immediately takes its place.

The brief moment of triumph is crushed when the next one bites straight through the already damaged cricket bat and lunges for his face. A scream rips from his throat and Shoichi throws his arms up, squeezing his eyes shut.

There's a crunch and a light brush of fabric skates along his arm. Then comes a series of rapid cracks, half muffled and swiftly moving further away. 

Shoichi lowers his arms and peeks out. His family are gasping for breath, covered in gore and running solely on adrenalin. The eight zombies have been scattered through the path like fallen leaves, heads cracked open neatly and completely still.

Hibari Kyouya glances over his shoulder as his jacket settles around him again, tonfas spiked and barely any metallic silver showing past the red of blood, but not a drop of gore on the teenager. 

"You are late for school," the Chairman of the Discipline Committee says.

"Sorry," Shoichi blurts out automatically, voice more of a squeak than anything.

A pause, and then-

"What are you still doing here, herbivore?" Kyouya drawls. "Go, or I'll bite you to death."

Shoichi stumbles in his haste to comply, grabbing at his family's clothes and hauling them away from the teenager and towards the school as fast as he can.

It's the zombie apocalypse for about an hour, and then Hibari Kyouya happens. During his terrifyingly efficient takeover of the world, he also deigns to clear out the zombie infestation.

Aria and Jerry looked disappointed because they weren't allowed to fight this stage 5 zombie. Alex understands that the three of them are still traumatized by the defeat that happened in Bali and wanted to redeem themselves. However, since Arief was their senior, they naturally had to give in this opportunity and could only sigh regretfully.
The two of them then each walked over to the two hall doors and guard it while Alex guards the back hallway, protecting it from white zombies that are trying to help their leader. With this arrangement, Arief can fight against the stage 5 zombie freely without interruption, giving his best for the redemption.
The golden zombie looked very fierce as it opened its mouth and let out another loud roar. Seeing Arief walking towards it, the zombie was immediately seen taking a deep breath as it directly cast its deadly spell, feeling the dangerous air around Arief.
Golden rays shot out from its body as its energy got higher and higher. Its body exhibited an enormous amount of energy which caused the ground to tremor for several kilometers, startling others who were outside. The zombie then took another deep breath with its mouth as a barrage of fireballs shot out of its mouth, flying fast at Arief.
The memories of their previous fight against a similar stage 5 zombie at Bali Island, when these fireballs could easily destroy dozens of armored tanks, flashed through the 4 people inside the gymnastic hall. Seeing the rapidly approaching fireballs shooting at Arief, Alex and the rest could not help but worry about him.
The barrage of fireballs quickly travelled through the air and hit the area Arief at as explosion after explosion occur on the walls, floors, and ceilings around him.
BOOOOMM!! BOOOOMM!! BOOOOMM!! BOOOOMM!!  
Due to the sheer amount of fireballs and the explosions it caused, debris began to fall into the hall while black smokes rapidly shrouded the hall, obstructing Alex and the rest from seeing what was going on with Arief.
When the debris stopped falling and the smokes started disappearing, they could vaguely see a figure standing still in the middle of the dissipating smoke. A moment later, a tall human figure could be seen standing there firmly as if nothing happened while a silver sheen was seen gleaming on his skin.
[Titanium Body - Tier 3 Metal Spell]
A metal type element spell that makes the user's whole body durable like metal as a silver luster enveloped the entire body, giving them extraordinary defensive capability.
Surprisingly, this tier 3 metal spell managed to endure the full brunt of the stage 5 zombie's fireball barrage.
The golden zombie was stunned when it saw how Arief was unscathed by its attack. Without wasting any more time, Arief immediately let out a loud roar as he used his own technique.
[Ares Strength - Stage 3]
[Increases muscle strength]
[Increases speed]
Not only that, he also cast [Metal Hardening] spell on his [Great Sword - Tier 2 Artifact] as the sharp looking greatsword covered by a bright sheen and shone with brilliance.
Arief then threw his piercing gaze at the golden figure, full of determination as his right foot stomped the hall's floor, causing web-like cracks on it. In an instant, loud sound resounded in the hall as Arief shot towards the stage 5 zombie and struck with tremendous momentum. His figure became faint and shadowy because of how fast he was moving.
When Arief getting closer and closer to the zombie, the two hands gripping the hilt of his sword grew tighter as he readied himself to do an upward slash.
*Clank*
Crisp loud sound like a metal hitting another metal could be heard as Arief's sword hit the stage 5 zombie, leaving only a small wounds on its skin. Seeing the result, he quickly adjust his stance as he gave the golden figure a horizontal slash with his sword. Another small wound appeared on its skin while a frustrated glint flashed briefly in Arief's eyes before being replaced by an even stronger determination.
*Clank* *Clank* *Clank* *Clank*
Sounds of the sword continuously hitting the stage 5 zombie's hard skin echoed in the hall as Arief kept swinging his greatsword at the zombie. The stage 5 zombie who awaken from its stunned state finally realized the situation. It let out an angry roar and immediately counterattacked as it threw its menacing claws at Arief.
Unfortunately, the continuous slashes from Arief's tier 2 sword that had been enhanced by [Ares Strength] and [Metal Hardening] spell were still not enough to penetrate the zombie's body. While on the other hand, the golden zombie's claw strikes could only knock the colonel down but not injure him.
These two golden and silver figures could only continue fighting, hitting and slashing alternately without neither of them being able to seriously injure their opponent. Seeing their stalemate situation and how limited his time was, the colonel decided to use the trump cards Alex gave them to swiftly end this battle.
Blocking a punch coming from the zombie, Arief make use of the punch's momentum to retreat to the back, giving him an opportunity to took out the trump cards. He then immediately took 2 pieces of rolled skin out of his storage ring, the magic scrolls given by Alex.
In a split second, the two scrolls quickly torn apart by Arief's hand as magic runes appeared around him, encompassing his entire body and weapon.
[Fire Infusion] [Wind Walk]
Sparks of fire appeared on the tip of Arief's greatsword as it rapidly engulfed by blazing flames, enhancing its destructive ability. Meanwhile, faint swirls of wind could be seen appearing below Arief's feet as his body surged by raging winds, increasing his movement speed.
Feeling the boost that he had, the colonel dashed forward again towards the stage 5 zombie. Red and green trails could be seen as Arief run at the golden zombie with his swords pointing at it. This time, thanks to the magic scroll's enhancement, he can more easily dodge the zombie's attack and his slashes finally could inflict significant wound. Golden colored blood splashed out of the stage 5 zombie's body every time Arief slashed his swords.
Meanwhile, Alex; Jerry; and Aria who fighting against the white zombies, did not experience any difficulty at all as the white zombies being killed like weeds. Alex even had the leisure to observe Arief's battle against the stage 5 zombie, gauging the limit of their strength.
From the hole in the ceiling caused by the golden zombie attack earlier, a tier 2 zombie tried to jump into the hall.
Aria who noticed the red zombie quickly cast her [Ice Blast - Tier 2 Ice Spell]. The spell casted by Aria immediately froze the red zombie and covered most of the hole at once.
The battle between these two gold and silver figures did not seem to be resolved quickly. Meanwhile, Daisy who took guard outside gave Alex report through the transmitter that the situation outside of the school building is getting harder to control.
Decapitating a white zombie, Alex turned his head towards Arief and shouted.
"I'm sorry, colonel. But your time is up."
At the same time as Alex shouted his words, Arief's next slash finally managed to cut one of the zombie's leg, making it fall to the ground. But just like before, the creature would able to regenerate its legs back to normal in less than 5 seconds.  
Of course, Arief had tried to target the zombie's neck with his slash, beheading it for good, but the damn monster always protected its neck and head with its hands.
Seeing the monster on the ground, Alex immediately took the opportunity.
[Hexagram Technique - stage 4] [Haste] [Fire Infusion]
Alex casted the best of his abilities as his strength shot up and raging flames covered Strokes when the scroll took effect. Just when the monster tried to get back to his feet, Alex was already behind the monster and immediately slashed the tier 5 sword artifact diagonally, cutting the zombie in half. The slash split the zombie at an angle from its right shoulder to its waist, detaching the upper part of its body from its legs.
The two separated zombie body fell to the ground. Even though its body had been split in two, the golden zombie was still able to move and was still trying to regenerate his body. But Alex quickly stepped on its body and stood on it, he then said.
"If you have anything to say, you should speak now. I might spare you." said Alex calmly.
However, the golden zombie only roared like wild beasts
"So be it then."
Alex took one last glance at the golden figure below him as he lifted Strokes in the air and stabbed it into its head. And simultaneously his whole body stopped moving. The zombie's strongest evolutionary monster finally died.

He decided to buy a bike. He had actually decided to buy the back earlier to take Pallavi around the valley for a spin but ever since the incident, he decided to buy it later.

He had already decided what bike he wanted to buy. He told Supriya that he was gonna buy a bike. Supriya was a bit surprised and happy that maybe Shuvam might coming out of the trauma he suffered due to the Pallavi incident.

He went to a KTM bike showroom. He wanted to buy a KTM RC 390. It cost $7,000 dollars. It was a fairly nice bike with 20kmpl mileage and it had a top speed of 179kmph. But the thing was the bike only had a fuel capacity of 9.5 litres, which was something Shuvam didn't like. But he still bought this instead of the KTM duke 390 because of its sports bike like design. The RC reminded him of the bikes he saw on those racing games he used to play with his cousin.

He just straight up asked for the bike and its price and paid $7000 for it. He straight up swiped his debit card.

He went back to the apartment in the bike. He went inside his room. Everything except the zombie AI was done when he ordered the programmer bot to make the game uncrackable. The game was played using server and the internet. He asked the programmer bot to make the server and the game impenetrable. As for anyone that might try to hack the servers, he decided to place the attacker hacker bot in the server to counter attack any hackers.

Shuvam then went ahead and made a website anonymously. He decided to upload the game here. The game still needed about a day to get functional. Shuvam then ordered Andy to make a website for him. He thought that he needed an alias in order to upload the games.

" Andy, name the website ' hoodgames '. "

He decided to make his alias hood. He quickly uploaded the trailer for the game that he had prepared. He also uploaded a bit about the game and  also uploaded the computer specifications required to play the game.

He still maintained his routine and went to the gym. He had been constantly working out and had also taken fat reducing protein shakes. It had been a huge help. Currently his body had gone from 15% body fat to about 6-7 %. It was about 6-7 kilograms of fat.

Next day the game was complete. Shuvam decided to play the game. He opened the game. There were only NPC's here. He was the GM. So he just made a character with insane stats and it could fly too. He linked this account using his iris. Only he could use this account. No one else and this also prevented people from making multiple accounts as this game used the recognition system to recognize the user while registering the account and used it while logging the user in the game.

He flew around a bit. He was listening to the growling noises the zombies were making. He saw various mutated animals. When he flew over a stronghold, the people in the stronghold started shooting at his character but no can do. He was OP character in this world. He smirked while he thought.

He was extremely satisfies with this world he had created. After all, the people in the stronghold shot at him as they felt afraid of this unknown being which could fly. He was extremely satisfied with their reaction. On the other hand, he might have erased this stronghold from the map if the NPC down below were like those robotic AI's in their games.

He realized he didn't have a gaming laptop to play games while he was not home. He bought a predator laptop worth a little over $1000.

He decided to release the game now. He uploaded the game. After a few minutes the game was uploaded. He was looking forward to how the people would be thrilled to play his game. He then grew ecstatic over the fact that those so called crackers would not be able to crack his game or hack into his games.

He was smiling when Andy said, " Stupid, no one knows about your stupid website or the game. How will anyone play it when they don't know about it. You haven't advertised about the game. "

His smile froze when he heard this. He quickly checked the views on the trailer he uploaded on YouTube yesterday. It was about 25 and the people were complaining that he had just uploaded a animation of some movie not a game trailer. Noone believed that there could be such a game with such low PC specs and awesome graphics.

He also checked the views on his websites, he shuddered when he noticed it was only 18, even lower than the video on YouTube. He was starting to grow depressed.

Suddenly, he had an evil grin on his face as he thought of an idea. He quickly said, " You stupid machine. How could I have not thought about it. I have the perfect plan…hehe…".

Ye Mo couldn't help to doubt An Zhiqi's words. They weren't close at all, while Dongfang Wang was her classmate, why would she tell him his secrets?
Seeing Ye Mo's expression, An Zhiqi bit her lips and said, "I'm sure you're no ordinary person, but I know Dongfang Wang isn't either. Although I've only seen you twice, I trust you more. I didn't suspect Dongfang Wang at first, but one picture completely changed my mind. That man was my computing teacher and because I progressed quite quickly, he often asked for my advise. I respected him a lot. He had a good job and a loving wife, why would someone like him commit suicide?

It's a good thing Yanlong tied the frame of the false ceiling to the overhanging iron hook, which inturn is supported by the building's framework. The false ceiling frame had cracks all around. Right now, it is like a wooden board hanging from the ceiling like a swing, but unable to move because it's blocked by furniture all around. 

All the same, Yanlong decided upon a direction, gently pouring a prepared bottle of cactus-grow into the pot. Once the plant is watered, it goes into a cathartic state, where it does not attack unless it's touched directly. 

How did she know that? 

Simple! The plant has communicated that part with her… she just got sense of what the plant needs. As long as she satisfies those urges, the spiny cactus ball is obedient. 

Then, she turned around to see what happened in the night. 

There are no less than four Zombies in various states of being daggered to death attached to walls. One of them did not have any needles poking through its head, thus still twitching in its effort to reach Yanlong. Yanlong cut off it's head and put the twitching zombie to rest, lest it's scratching noise attract more zombies. 

Two of the zombies had ids on them. They seem to be professors, while the other two seemed to be graduate students. All the same, Yanlong searched their pockets, pocketed all the id cards. She sent pictures of all four zombies to Huomei with their driver license cards. 
Then, she proceeded to remove the crystals of all the zombies. One of the graduate students turned out to be a power type, the other is a lightning active. The professors are both sensitive mutants. 

Sensitive mutants are as rare as sables. Yes, they may not be as valuable as olympians, but they carry almost no risks. The only reason they are not as highly priced or highly valued is because more times than not, the skills involved do not contain direct fire power. However, what Yanlong needs right now is any kind of sensing power. Thus, she absorbed the both of them happily. 

The former is a mutation sensing power, while the later, a life sensing power. Yanlong could sense every life having less than a quarter of her strength. She could sense the lives of tiny pets moving around, mice roaming around.. 

Hmm… 

She moved slowly, verifying with every step there are no zombies in her wake. Thankfully, apocalypse arrived in the night, except for a few rare instances, almost all the rooms are closed. She cleaned up two more zombies enroute to the dean's office. 

It is janitors, and they both turned out to be power types. 

She did not enter the dean's office right away. 

She brought an electric stool with her, so she entered the false ceiling instead. The false ceiling of this area is made from finer material than the rest of the building. Inside the dean's room, the entire false ceiling is made of wooden tiles. 

Yanlong did not expect a hand to reach out for her directly as soon as she removed a wooden tile. If not for both the sensitive powers she has absorbed just now, she would never have seen the attack coming at all. 

Yanlong rolled right immediately, avoiding the hand. Thankfully she did so, otherwise she would have been skewered by now. The dean zombie's hand came exactly where she is to attack again. Yanlong kept rolling right, at the same time, extending the blood strings. She piled up the wooden pieces one atop another as she rolled. 

It would be an impossible feat to perform had she not had blood strings. She expected the dean's zombie to be powerful, but this is way too … Not powerful, but accurate. 

Even the normal zombies are powerful, their claw's capable of gouzing iron. However, they are almost always on the wrong path. It's only a totally unwitting bumbling fool that can not get past a zombie in the initial stage directly. 
The dean's zombie is powerful, but not so much that it could be counted as a power zombie. What makes it deadly is that it never struck in a wrong location. Yanlong jumped onto the set of wooden pieces she piled up, then piled the rest of the wooden blocks into a chess piece style ceiling full of gaps in the false ceiling. 

The zombie is already underneath her. Yanlong quickly crawled to another block, though the zombie was unable to scratch through the wooden tiles she piled up. As soon as she reached another block, she activated the blood string, stringing up the zombie through an overhanging hook. After all, a false ceiling can't bear the weight of a six foot man. 

Now, she only needs to find a counter weight. 

She retrieved the power nuclei she found earlier, absorbed them. 

Then, she pulled up the dean, decapitating him. 

Unfortunately, in this process of pulling him up, she braced her legs against wooden tiles on the false ceiling. The false ceiling broke. Dean zombie flailed, it's claws reaching towards Yanlong's pupils.. Thankfully, Dean is a man who is well over 190 cm, while Yanlong is a midget barely reaching above two feet. 

She braced herself against the floor and pulled up the dean immediately. Her muscles protested a little as she pulled him up. The dean zombie started resisting actively against the blood string. It worked well last time because it was a surprise maneuver. 

Yanlong absorbed the second power nuclei she has in her hands. The zombie must die, or she will not get out of this room alive. 

'Sqquuu… sssuccuu...s...shwuu'

Yanlong becomes alert even as she keeps hold of Dean zombie. Damn it.. There's another zombie in this room. Yanlong pulled with increased vigor. Faster the dean zombie dies, faster she stops being a sitting duck. 

If the hidden zombie attacks, Yanlong will have no place to cry. 

Snap.
Thunk.

A female zombie crawled out from underneath the table towards Yanlong. 

Yanlong ran around the room, turned around the table and scrambled onto the swivel chair belonging to the dean. The crawling zombie shifted its course to reach Yanlong. Yanlong swung around in the chair, blocking zombie's claws with the back of the swivel chair. 

The Zombie's claws are stuck. 

Yanlong immediately extended the blood string, swung the string around the zombie's neck, arm stuck in the swivel chair and swivel chair's base, tied a knot. 

Maybe it's better to say she fused them into a loop. Blood string responded to Yanlong's thoughts, thus as soon as she tied a loop around the arm stuck in a swivel chair, iron rod connecting backrest and zombie's head, the thread fused into a loop. 

If the crawling zombie wants to get out, it needs to carefully remove it's arm, which is impossible for a zombie. Or carefully remove its head, equally impossible.. Or put pressure against the swivel chair rod and try to break it.. Which is possible, at the risk of zombie snapping off it's own head. 

Yanlong moved back, removed her knife and stood at the ready. 

The adrenaline in her body slowly seeped away, leaving a body in pain all over. She bounced around like a ball in the past few minutes. She needs to lie down and rest, but the zombie has to die first. 

Instead of removing it's hand, the zombie tried slicing through the backrest all the way. 

That's a good way! Yanlong mused. 

As long as the backrest is in tatters, the zombie gets out easily. 

Yanlong simply created another blood string, this time, pulled over the zombie with the almost a tonne wooden table as leverage. 

The second zombie's head is snapped too. 

Yanlong listened attentively for any approaching zombies. 

Thankfully, there are none. Dean's office has great sound proofing. 

It is only then she noticed states of the zombies. 

The dean has his pants untied, his underwear down… and there's a blood red wound there, yet no blood stains on the pants. Something is visibly missing between the legs. 

The woman's shirt is open all the way. Yanlong turned around the face of the zombie to look at it. It is the dean's secretary. 

It's quite clear where the missing piece has gone. Despite the obscenity, Yanlong has taken pictures of both the secretary's face and Dean's face, and sent them to Huomei. They are posting it on one of the university website pages. 

Yanlong retrieved the nuclei of the dean and secretary. 

Dean is a sensitive type, which accurately guesses the power. Yanlong is very happy to find one. This is not a rare type, but it's not also all that common. It is the most useful type of sensitive. Simply put, this is the iron rice bowl of apocalypse days.
