Brian was clearly panicking as his voice shook while he spoke. He never faced the large group of zombies because they usually targetted 1 or three zombies at once, one for each of them.

"No, life imprint of humans is slightly different from zombies. We have more vibrant auras, while zombies have less intense life imprints. It resembles the giant we had faced in the library but smaller in intensity and different in shape."
Brian tried to explain what he sensed as clearly as he could. Adam was slightly confused by his explanation, yet Dave quickly understood what it was.
'I never thought that Brian would also be able to assess the power levels of zombies.'
The biggest problem with hunting was that they didn't know the power level of a monster beforehand. Dave knew that it was possible to identify the rank by their outer appearance, but not a level of evolved zombies.
"How much of them are there?"
"I've detected 9 of them including one with a stronger aura."

It was even faster than Dave at his full speed. As it drew closer to him, Dave habitually held his sword higher as he blocked an attack to his head.
All monsters had patterns to attack. Hunters had long claws on their heads, so all their attacks were based on a slashing motion. They liked to attack in one swift motion aiming to the head of a person.
When they fail to kill the target in one movement, they usually distance themselves from the target.
'And this is the time when they are weakest. Concentrated on distancing themselves, it's unlikely for them to attack at that moment'
Blocking the claws of a hunter, Dave used a Flash Step as he rushed to the hunter beheading it with a sword strike. Hunters weren't as tough as giants, so if you were able to deal a blow to a hunter, it wasn't hard to kill it.

As he said it, Dave avoided the attack from two zombies. He was fast enough to easily dodge them as he spoke simultaneously as dodging.

Brian wanted to say that but held his tongue at the last moment. A sight where Dave killed a hunter was just too shocking since he never imagined that Dave was able to move so quickly. He didn't even see how Dave beheaded it.
Still surprised by a display of strength, Adam and Brian fought with 2 zombies. They killed more than enough zombies to clash with them one-on-one, not to say, that they had weapons to use.
As both of them fought with zombies, Dave checked his spoils from the battle. He didn't increase his level since a hunter was equal to level 2.
He collected all survival coins on the ground, 6 from ordinary zombies and 2 coins from a hunter.

"Isn't he looking for death?!" Xia Na clenched her teeth angrily. She grabbed her sword and dashed out of the building they were hiding in before the others had a chance to stop her.

She had only seen hundreds of zombies rushing towards one direction when the disaster initially broke out and had since then rarely seen such things… It was hard to imagine that this was man-made!

As soon as Ling Mo finished his words, a tremendous loud bang sounded from the hospital's direction and countless glass shards fell down from the second floor along with more than ten zombies. At the same time, the hospital's front door wholly shattered. Some zombies immediately noticed Xia Na and the others and charged at them.
"Go!"
Xia Na didn't have time to ask further and even without her urging, these people would run for their lives.
If they were dragged behind, they would get caught up in the desperate situation of being surrounded by hundreds of zombies!

"You would keep the secret forever if it weren't leaked, would you?" Some of the people said angrily. They had created a distance between the podium and themselves. 
"We kept the secret from you so that you can live without worry. If you were all informed that this place was a zombie base, would you still live here? If you knew about the truth, would there still be a space for them to live?" Lin Feng said calmly, pointing at Yun Meng. 
"They are zombies now, but they never forgot that they used to be humans. They were used to their old lifestyle. Even though they've become zombies, they still have their old habits and humanity. They want to live a peaceful life like humans, so they needed to fight their zombie nature. They are zombies, but they also have the right to pursue the life they like," Lin Feng continued. 
Those zombies would never hurt humans. In fact, as same as Lin Qiao, all the zombies with human memories were in a quite embarrassing situation at present. They weren't humans nor a hundred percent zombies. They were stuck between the two species, and neither of the two sides wanted them. "Since this base belongs to zombies, you shouldn't have opened to human residents if you don't want to hurt them!" Some people still had discontentment. However, their voices had grown weaker than before. 
"You asked to join us. We didn't even invite you. And my brother has said, your life has nothing to do with the residents in Base Number Two. You live your life, and they live theirs. We took you in out of kindness. If you see our kindness as fake, we're now offering to send you away. You can think of our two years of service as a charity. You are free to leave right now!" Lin Wenwen stepped up from behind Lin Feng and said to the people with a sarcastic tone.

Their chance of survival would be very low. If they chose to stay, they would be sharing the base with a group of zombies, facing the risk of being eaten by those zombies. They might even be seen as enemies by the people from the other bases. But at least, they would have enough food and daily supplies.

"We're not leaving. We just want to stay alive, after all. How are we gonna stay alive if there's no food?" Abruptly, Dong Xinxin said with a loud voice. 
Behind her were the hunters under her command. They had been following her lead since before the apocalypse and were all trustworthy and reliable. They were willing to follow her every word, and she was right anyway. In the post-apocalyptic era, everyone was striving to live. For them, food was the most important thing, and nothing else mattered. 
Besides, the zombies in the base wouldn't hurt humans anyway; Lin Feng had made that very clear in front of all the people. In the future, those zombies would be under the supervision of the entire base. 
"No matter what you say, it's pointless. In their eyes, we are monsters. They won't accept our existence, no matter how hard to try to convince them. We can't keep the secret anymore, so let's just cast all the humans out! If we let them stay here, we'll have to keep them safe and mentally healthy. That's going to be so troublesome." "Mo Yan, shut up! I want to punch you every time I hear your voice! How can we possibly cast all humans out? What about Lin Feng and his family? Aren't they humans? Are you going to cast them out too? I think you'll be the first one to be cast out by Chief when she comes back!" Qiu Lili glared at him and said. 
Mo Yan shrugged, saying carelessly, "They can leave, and they can stay. They can do whatever they want."

When I opened my eyes I was surprised to find that a woman was standing in front of me!
The woman suddenly gasped upon seeing my eyes and started backing away from me. Her eyes looked at me in horror.
When I noticed she was about to scream I said "Calm down. If you scream you will draw a horde of zombies..."
She calmed herself down and asked, "What are you...why do seem so similar?"
"I am a vampire and how would I know why I look familiar to you?" I told her.
"A...vampire?" she slowly said as the fear overcame her.
Suddenly she screamed!

"How did I level up so much? And did refining my bones really improve my body so much?" I asked the system.

I smiled before asking "How much EXP do the zombies give?"

'"Are there any Elite zombies yet?" I asked with concern.

"So many isn't it only the 9 day?!"
<Wrong, during your bone refining, 14 days passed>
"14 days?! So its the 23rd day?!" I asked concerned.
<Correct>
I sighed before grinning "Luckily I still have some free exp banging on the door outside..."
I walked over to the entrance of the small store and before I stepped out I asked "I drink blood right? So why am I not hungry?"
<You drank the blood of dozens of zombies so of course, that can last you months or even years>
"So long?" I asked.
<Of course, you are absorbing their vitality after all>
I removed the barricade that was blocking the door before stepping out into a street full of zombies.
It appeared that women attracted quite a lot of zombies...

After a bit of time of the street was covered in the drained corpses of zombies.
I mentally looked in my status.

I placed 100 Attribute Points into Agility, and the remaining 55 attribute points into strength.
With the giant boost to my strength, I could easily lift a car and with my increased agility I could move as fast as 90 MPH.
I walked back into the small store and waited for the young girl to wake.

Leone started to first search the entire Abandoned street to make sure there isn't a single zombie so that he can lead a  comfortable nap at night time.....He didn't want to be careless in the least
zombies are extremely sensitive to heat as their bodies are normally less than 20° Celsius.
Ordinary Zombie's eyesight is extremely awful so they tend to find their prey with the body temperature anything that has higher temperature than them and is in motion will be treated as a target by the zombies
They don't have the least bit of control on their bodies for their intense lust for flesh and blood.
They are blinded with their desire for food.....
While leone was checking one of the houses in    the abandoned street he suddenly heard a creepy sound which almost made his heart skip a beat
Gaa....Gaa.....Urgaa....
*Step*Step*Step*
A green skinned being with soggy eyes which has a strange green luster.....has came into his view....it was very slow which seemed like someone slowing down a video.
Normal Zombies are very slow as long as you aren't surrounded you could run away from them....
Their body is also only a tad bit stronger than a human but the biggest problem was a human would be psychologically broken and will be stunned with fear once he comes face to face with it. Only those who can overcome their inner fear and take a step ahead and kill them can survive the apocalypse whereas, the rest are only meant to be food to those bloodthirsty creatures...
Leone belonged to the former category someone who already fought with many zombies and beasts in his previous life he wouldn't be traumatized by it's sight,for him it's not the least bit scary.
Finally we meet old comrade I spent more of my life killing and thinking about how to deal with you guys in the best way..instead of enjoying my youth...
Actually I'm pretty sure I spent more of my life with you guys than going around with woman..how sad of a life...mine is...
Here let me toast to our first meeting with your kind in this life you ugly....freak!
*He lifted his Axe and Said with a mocking tone having a  sincere expression on his face.This might be the most ridiculous words a Human would be expected to tell a zombie when they meet for the first time*
Gaaahh!!....Gaah.....
As if understanding his mockery the zombie growled with anger and speeded up a bit and tried to tear him apart with its sharp claws
Leone avoided it and kicked it's feet to let it loose its balance and fall to the ground,without wasting a single second he hacked the zombie's head into 2 with the axe.....The zombie died instantly. If speed is a weak point to a zombie than it's head is the weakest part of a zombie.
Zombie can survive even if it's 4 limbs are cut off, only if it's heart is burst or it's head is destroyed  will it die completely.
As someone who has Dealt with zombies a lot in his previous life he knew the best way to deal with it swiftly and safely.
Once the zombie died,He quietly left the room and went to the other buildings  in the abandoned street he then came across a couple other zombies which he killed with his axe swiftly.....
It seems there aren't any zombies here anymore as expected this was indeed a perfect choice to live here then being in those Human populated streets now they might be filled with crazy zombies
Uh.....it's been a while since I've seen a street filled with zombies.....*He said to himself and slowly walked in the way to the business street*
just once he was about to enter business street he heard some screams and terrifying zombie growls  from all directions just hearing them makes one's  scalp tingle.....He slowly went to a place with the densest zombie sightings.
Feeling the body temperature of leone zombies started to slowly move towards him
watching these zombies slowly move in his direction he started running with all his focus and started killing them with fast speed he didn't want to waste a lot of time as a zombie horde might pile up which would be a catastrophe he couldn't fight back in the slightest. He killed some of them and started running away in the opposite direction of the zombie group piled up which came to deal with him.
He quickly ran giving his all so as to shake them off and find a place which has abundant food.
Even if he piled up a lot of food which can last for more than month,no one will mind extra food during the doomsday.
