This rant is dedicated to goblin novels. I love goblin novels very much, with most of my favorite novels being the historical fantasy and high famtasy genres. Among those further, ones with monster mc's.

The now sterotypical **** of people sucks, (**** is bad) but it is so engrained in culture nowadays so what can I do?

I like it when goblins build fortifications, and I prefer ramshackle, but if a good story had rapidly intelligent goblins, with enough backround plot, ill allow some advanced stuff through too. 

Goblins cults are funny too so thats nice. Goblins who can use spells are simply too op though. It usually gives them spells, when they should have 2 learn them. I get some stories have evolution and classes, and i prefer NEITHER

Hey, I know I have lost almost all my old readers, and credibility after being gone for a year but I just want to say, I am here.

I was enjoying a walk through the park when suddenly a sedan swerved on the adjacent road to avoid a long-hauler, and I was hit at 86 mph. I am happy and lucky to be alive, I will never walk right again, nor breathe, nor speak, nor smile again. I am messed up, and just now uploaded my cloud data for my new phone. Now I go to my old favorite app and find hundreds are funny, sad, and expectanct comments, and I failed them.

Many years ago, I wrote this novel after reading Re:Monster and other similar novels. I ran out of that type of content and wanted to find a similar sort of vibe while fixing the issues that I found from reading those novels.
 The idea of putting a normal person in a crazy world and making it so that they're willing to do anything to get stronger while having a system was fun since it's a harmless fantasy that you can live through vicariously. I also made main characters that would make you feel better about yourself since they were inherently flawed as human beings and would only grow over time. Although looking back now, I do wish that I made my main characters slightly more likeable from the start.
I finally re-read my novel and although I see some potential, there's just too many flaws in it to continue. I was a lot younger when I wrote this and I've since grown as a person. I feel like my ability to write stories is at a whole new level and my ability to create likeable and realistic characters is also on a completely different level. 
Unfortunately, even though I might read novels once in a while, committing to writing a story takes a lot of time and real life is really busy. I don't see myself writing a new novel any time soon. I do have a second novel called "Wish-Fulfilling System" that I wrote a year after this novel but both are on Hiatus. If I were to ever write a novel in the future, I'd want you to learn something so that you could benefit from it in real life.
I just wanted to leave an update that this novel will be on an indefinite hiatus and I likely won't change my mind about it but still am leaving room for myself in case I want to ever improve previous chapter and or just want to write some more chapters on a whim.
For what it's worth, I hope you enjoyed the novel and that it at least provided some form of healthy escape from day-to-day life. See ya :)

I have read and continue to read many eastern fantasy webnovels. They sparked my interest ever since I watched a chinese drama and heard that it was a book adaptation. I found the translation, read it and went on a journey that brought me to discover eastern fantasy webnovels. I jumped in willingly and haven't looked back yet. (Yup, I've basically given up on other genres right now.
So why this book then?

Reason number 1:
Well, i just got tired of reading the same thing all over again. Granted, I get surprised now and again by a writer, but honestly most of the main characters we see are just in it for… what exactly? I guess revenge, the ladies and let's not forget the ego trips.
Hmpf!
But it gets tiring after after the nth mc constantly at odds, constantly fighting with the people and the world around them.

I've dropped several books because of the constant fighting (I understand the need to raise the stakes but please give my poor old heart a rest). Catch my breath before the next canon fodder appears to be the mc's next stepping stone to becoming the world's greatest fighter). Don't even get me started on the horrible sex scenes; products of deluded minds (is romance dead? Woo a girl a bit before jumping her, will ya?)

Reason number 2:
I have read web novels with female protagonists, but apart from only one exception, female protagonists are limited to the clan or the city. Most of these books have to do with evil and annoying stepmothers and even more evil and annoying flower snake step sisters. I always ended up wondering if the kind of a story with a female protagonist in a sect could work? Is that even possible? So i took up the challenge. Only time will tell how it pans out. It might be exactly what i envisioned or transform into something else. 

I also wanted a more or less wholesome story that didn't make me break into hives because it was chock full of someone's outlandish sexual fantasies or fanservice.

If people weren't writing what I wanted to, I had to do it myself. I am by no means an accomplished writer, but I am up to the task.

Cultivating Karma came into existence after almost a year of dreaming and planning. It follows our heroine, Bai li yue, who through a series of events transmigrates into the thousand aurora world. She will journey the world on a quest to break a curse that afflicts her. Will she succeed in cultivating karma or has her fate been already decided?

I hope you stay for the ride. Most of all, I hope you enjoy yourself while doing it.

Being stuck in this flesh prison, without agency, lacking entertainment, being forced to be dependant on someone else for your very life. That'll do it to ya.
Oh the humiliation of someone shoving their tits right down your throat! Seems nice doesn't it. Not so much when your life depends on it being done to you every two hours at cost of great pain. And that's not all. There's also the helplessness of pooping yourself and lying there, stuck in your own stinking filth for what seems like an eternity until you have to beg your guardian to save you from the excesses of the human condition.
I hated it.
I HATED BEING A BABY! I say. I fucking hated it.
I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I am going to be traumatized for life. And I blame any and every single one of you beings that forced this on me.
What beings? I don't know, but it certainly had to be somebody! After all, its not everyday that you reincarnate into a world of fiction.
Now I might come off as very whiny but in truth, now that I have grown up well enough to be left out to play on my own, I am trying, with much effort to put it behind me.
Because now wasn't the time to whine and scream.
Now was the time to scheme.
I was born in Dolle harbor to a lower middle class family in the April of 1983. My father was a clerk at the town's only banking establishment, His Majesty's Royal Bank and my mother was a housewife.
Life was good here. Simple, but good. We had fresh fish for dinner, the crime rate was lower than most other cities and even then was only restricted to the shadier portions of the town's surprisingly vast bazaar.
This was better than I could have asked for really. At least I wasn't born in NGL or the Kakin empire or worst of all, Meteor city.
Now some might say that I shouldn't knock it till I try it, that Meteor city wasn't that bad. But this isn't some fantasy wish fulfillment fanfic. This is as real as it gets for me. And there is a universally acknowledged truth that those born into great beginnings tend to have a massive headstart over those not so fortunate. Sure, there are your Chrollo Lucilfers and Hisokas, who thrive in such circumstances but they do so not because of them but rather despite those circumstances. There is a massive difference in the destiny of the hero and the common foot soldier. The hero kills the demon lord and cements his legend into the annals of history while the common foot soldier dies of dysentery in chapter two. And most people are not heroes. Shocking, I know.
But consider this. I don't intend to be either.
Fuck destiny. Fuck predetermination. And fuck all y'all puppeteering dickwads playing dice with the lives of men.
No one plays poker on the chessboard of my life. NO ONE!
And while a clerk might not bring home the moolah, at least he puts enough food on the table to not let me starve. I can also go to school and learn the language and history of this world. After all, I am not some super genius tragically reborn after some self sacrifing truck kun initiation that can learn all languages with a single glance.
I need time and practice. Even for building a strong body and accessing Nen the same applies.
I had to make the best use of my future knowledge before the opportunity to profit from it expires.
And I had to do it without being noticed by any of the prominent powers of the world or affecting the lives of the main characters in any way. For that I needed to be absolutely stealthy and low lying. Like an ant. A very stealthy ant. The kind that only contributes the bare minimum to the hive while playing side characters in the grasshoppers tale. I realize the metaphor is breaking down here somewhat but that's that about that.
Now, first I needed money. That much was certain. And I couldn't just go to one the bigwigs like Battera or the mafia or even the hunter association with future knowledge. They'd turn me into a cash cow in their basement faster than I could say chickpeas. And I couldn't game the market because... well I was nine. Nine year olds don't get to fuck with market forces. 12 year old freakazoid hunters, maybe. But not nine year old small town boys. Especially so in Constitutional Monarchies like Kukanyu.
So the easiest way to earn money was to write a book. And get money from the royalties. Now what books to write? Fantasy series are right out the window. If Gon can turn Rock-Paper-Scissors into Chimera Ant killer 9000 then imagine what the phantom troupe could do with concepts mind magic or shardblades. Not to mention system novels. Imagine some asshole getting gamer abilities. Just imagining it sends chills down my spine.
No. No fantasy novels. That leaves me with romcoms and drama and of course mild scifi.
Then it clicked. Yes that's the one. I hate to expose this world to that abomination but I need that green baby. So I decided. My first novel would be...

These are some of the popular novels which we know. Each of them is very unique in it's own way and have become popular in it's own right. It would be incorrect to call them a failure, as they have correctly captured their intended audience – the Japanese teenage audience. However, when thinking about a broad perspective, these novel become obsolete when it competes on a global level with other web novels, and the majority of the reason for their deficiency is simple – the Protagonist in these novels is a typical Japanese light novel protagonist, who is naïve and a dumb virgin idiot. It is as if he has never received any sex education, and would always talk some naïve things which do not match with his current situation. Their behavior is somewhat correct given that these protagonists are usually high school kids, but the readers have difficulty accepting such an immature protagonist.

Web novels are about accumulating wealth, women and power. So when a reader reads the protagonist behaving like a dumb virgin when a girl approaches him, or when he does not actively seek wealth and power, the reader is bound to get angry and disappointed.

A good example can be found in the following example :

In Tsuki ga Michibiku, the Protagonist Makoto establishes a business half-heartedly, and his business is more like charity to the hyumans, the same hyumans the majority of whom treat him like sh*t and had killed his subordinates. Instead of developing his Asora realm, where we might have enjoyed him developing a realm and being a king or even god, he keeps roaming throughout the world unnecessarily.

Also, he had two beautiful subordinates who are eager to have sex with him, but apparently he sees them as 'sisters' or 'family', so he cannot do that. (Perhaps he has not read any incest hentai, or heard of Kiss X Sis)

Note that this is not just about sex, as there was a very broad scope for plot development in Tsuki ga Michibiku. For example, Makoto could have properly developed the Asora realm, showing us some world building and kingdom building. He could even have married Tomoe and Mio and their kids would have been demi gods who would do various mischiefs in the hyuman realm. There might have even been wars of Asora vs hyumans.

In short, the Japanese protagonists have disappointing characteristics on a global scale, and are not entertaining to read.

* SOLUTION FOR ALL THIS…

Japanese isekai novels have good would building (from light novel and web novel perspective), and this fact cannot be ignored.

My idea is simple, that is to write a fan fiction of a pre-existing light novel or use the basic ideas and rewrite the novel, the only change being the utterly virgin protagonist. The protagonist would simply be 'de-virginized' and re-introduced. This change might seem small but actually opens up a lot of routes for novel writing. (as in Tsuki ga Michibiku example)

The protagonists in these isekai novels are already powerful, and if they are re-written of as being mature, smart and driven by ambition, then they would become warlords, making the story even more interesting to read.

First of all, I would like to thank you. Thanks to the readers, who read my lack of writing; I have finished my fourth book! I'll always remember that.

As I said earlier, this is my fourth book, and I still don't think writing a novel is easy. I always feel this. Personally, I started to feel weak around the 150th chapter. It has not been easy to write since then. I thought it would be better to take six books from the beginning or divide them into two parts and take a break. 

This time, I wrote a series, but I couldn't handle it in the second half. I'm sorry about that. I used to post it on the day I finished my epilogue, but this work has been so hard that I had to take a day off.

It has been the most popular piece of my writing, and at the same time, it was the most regretful piece of work. After writing and posting, I always thought 'I should write something like this,' or 'I should try to develop something like this,' or 'I could write something more specifically here,' or 'I'd like to reduce that a little bit.' 

I work for a company, but I've tried to write, edit, and post it on the Munpia. It has not been easy. When I was writing my previous Master Hunter K, it was really easy to write because I had no job then. I think it was difficult this time because I was always running out of time.

The future news of this article I originally thought of about a year ago. When I wrote my previous novels, I used a theme of going back to the past, a time shift, but I've never written about a future foreseeing, so I made a decision to write this genre if I could. We had a contest in April in Munpia, so I participated in it with this novel.

The motive was a horror cartoon based on future news, which I saw when I was in elementary school. My memory was dim, but in the animation, the main character had a paper newspaper every day, and it had the future news. I decided to convert it into something that would be in line with the Internet news standard.

As you can see, I took the League of Legends rating except for the last two, and Editor and Publisher. I thought they were the sources that I'd take to the end. As the abilities grew, I conceived the idea of the character's power and assets growing together, and I wrote it on the basis of that, before the last two grades.

The last two rating scenarios, the U.S.-China nuclear war, and the rare cancer of his son, were actually must-not subjects in web fiction writing, but I chose them as subjects to showcase the power of the last two parts. In the first place, the main character was so strong that I couldn't pull the story out unless it was that special. It was not bad to finish at around a hundred eighty episodes, but I still had leftover material. So I tried to use it without paying any attention to my grades, since it was material that I would like to release, and a scenario that I wanted to use. I am satisfied, but I'm a little sorry to those of you who have dropped out on the way. 

By getting the last two ratings, the main character has a pure divine ability. Some of you worry about chaos or confusion at the end of the story, but it's just a part that I put in as a cautionary note that the power of this kind of manipulation is so strong that it could destabilize the world if he mismanages it. If the probability is not limited, he can pop his fingers a few times and destroy the world. The main character, Han Sang-hoon, has a pretty wife, a daughter and a son, so he will use it carefully.

From April to November... I feel relieved but sorry to have finished the series after more than half a year. I think I wrote it in my previous reviews that when I was in middle school and high school, I used to read genre novels, but I haven't read any genre novels in the ten years since then. A few years ago, when web novels appeared, I thought there was this new kind of novel, and I became a reader, and a writer, and then wrote four books.

I'm sure many of you remember the genre novels of ten years ago, but there weren't many contemporary fantasies of this kind at that time. Most of the time, I read pure fantasies, martial arts novels, and so on. So, I was going to write that kind of pure fantasy. It's been ten years since I came to the web fiction world, and I found that all the pure fantasies were dead, and there were only a fusion or a modern fantasy. Since the pure fantasy was not popular at all, I tried to write a modern fantasy to see if my writing would work or not.

That's how I have written three novels so far. Except for Master Hunter K, there has been a reversal of the order of host and guest. So, the next novel will go back to its original version, and even if I can't write a pure fantasy, it will go toward a fusion fantasy. Originally, I announced that I would release my next novel as a game fantasy. Due to the nature of the genre novel, I don't think I need to use the game format. So, I'm going to go to a fusion fantasy similar to the previous Master Hunter K.

Now, when I think about it, I think it's a personal achievement and a lucrative hobby. But now I've won a big prize after writing this novel, and I've changed my mind a little bit after getting too much love from you. It is no longer right to write with such amateurish ideas. I will reduce my stubbornness a little bit, and get closer to my readers with a little more professional writing, for the fun of my readers.

So, I'll return to you with the next novel, which reflects that aspect. It's something that readers might like more. In a month or two, after recovering my physical and mental strength, I'll be back after I'm finished with the idea of my next novel.
