I’ll be writing this in my free time, however I don’t have much often so sorry for long periods of absence. Anyway this is my first piece of writing I’m putting on the site, feel free to judge. (Dropped)

Greetings to all my readers, I wish to say something to you.

Firstly, I want to apologise to all of you. All those who have found this fanfic to be enjoyable, I truly apologise to you for not so inconsistent in writing the chapters of this fanfic or responding to you all. There have been multiple reasons for why I was inconsistent but it doesn't change the fact. I hope you forgive me.

Honestly speaking, I had started writing this fanfic with nothing concrete in my mind. I was just fed up of fanfic in those days that I felt that I must write something better than fanfics with those pussy main characters and all. I didn't expect you all to like this much, however, much can be contributed to the fact that it was one of the first Against the Gods Fanfic here. Nevertheless, I am very glad for all the support you have shown me.

Even before I had started writing this fanfic, I had been writing a novel. It isn't a lewd novel I guess haha... It's something I have been working on since 2-3 years. Its outlook is also not like that of an official novel but still, I have done all I can do alone, writing the novel, editing it and everything. Some friends helped me, but eventually, I completed it by myself.

I am from India, and in 3rd year of my Engineering. I guess I found my passion too late as I had already joined the college and wanted to graduate before working actively in the writing field. However, near the end of my first year, I had already started writing this Fanfic. Perhaps it was because of my lust of popularity or because I also wanted to write a Douluo Dalu fanfic, I started writing about it too. I guess I chewed off more than I could bite. Writing three novels at the same time was far too taxing. Especially when I had to give out regular chapters. I even started using p.atreon to collect money for advance chapters because I wanted to prove to my parents that I could earn through writing as well. My parents were convinced but I was seriously exhausted after a month or two. I couldn't go anywhere and spent all my time on discord or writing.

After that, I was interested in a girl I met online. She was from the same country as me. I was infatuated with her. The time talking to her was so relaxing that I slowly found myself getting out of writing. I slowly reduced my time in writing and started to talk with her more. However, she soon found someone else she liked so I got a little angry. We had a quarrel and I was pretty much pathetically depressed. I know I was in the wrong but I still couldn't control my emotions at that time. I was quite pathetic, I guess. Haha...

Anyway, I am out of depression. I had started watching animes again because of a bit of my free time and study for engineering. (I pretty much failed in quite a few subjects in a few semesters so I had to reappear in those exams again. Had to study all that too...) In a bit of my free time, I read some novels. I tried to improve my writing style and felt that it has improved a lot. During that time, I kept my mind focused on my main novel and kept everything aside. I just wrote something now and then for fun. It was to try out whether it would look appropriate in my main novel or not.

I have said it before but I guess I will say it again, I wish to turn this story into a manga story. I know I am not from Japan, it's probably a little preposterous for me to think of making manga and publishing it. Even after that, I have little hope of gaining popularity. However, I still want to make a manga. I am going to hire an artist and discuss a long term plan with him to ensure that it would come to reality even if it costs me a lot.

Currently, I have released my novel on the Kindle (Amazon), I won't say you must buy it. In fact, I urge you not to buy it if you do not like it. That will be your own decision. I just want you to read the free preview available on kindle, just tell me if you like it or not. I just want to know a bit of your viewpoint if you will like the story or not... I haven't asked anyone known to me to review the novel because the first few reviews I wish for are the true reviews. I just want to know whether my story is worth reading or not and let you be the judge of this fact.

 I first started writing in the 5th grade, I instantly fell in love. It became my dream to spread my work and touch people with my stories, it became my dream to make a difference and create something beautiful.
Two years ago, I found Wattpad, and I couldn't have been happier. In these two years I have written three books, made incredible friends, and have become far more confident in my writing while I grew. However, in the past few months, a lot of things have come to light that have broken my trust in Wattpad, I still love the community and the people I've met but I don't want to stay and give Wattpad my exclusivity. As most of you know, aside from Wattpad and Webnovel, I use eight other sites (Dreame, Tapas, Inkspired, Goodnovel, Ajoara, Booknet, Inkitt, and Sweek), and I'm still continuing to grow.
In the time between now and April 30th 2021, I will be making some major changes and leaps in my writing. Part of this change will include taking most of Free Me off of Webnovel and these other sites, I will leave maybe the first 2-3 chapters but that is it. A few days ago, I was both doing school and writing, my parents are starting to threaten me that if I don't get a job, I'll rot.

They will feed me until I hit 18 but that's about it.


If I become 18. I will just be sad.

I have to do something so that I won't have to live in the streets. So that's why I'm making the decision today to stop writing.

For God's sake I might permanently stop.


I'm in highschool and I'm failing.

I need a job in the future so I can feed myself and do what I want, but I cannot do that right now. So in order for me to focus on school more.


I will stop doing what I love, that's writing and drawing, and just focus it all on school.

I was so determined to write more bizzare stories. You may not believe this but I can think of a couple different stories with different genres.  Half of them I already admire.


One of them is called "Maids Play."

It's a story about a staggering butler trying to live a life in a mansion, he always gets belittled and mistreated until he was eventually murdered by one of the butlers in the mansion for being "useless."


He was reincarnated in another world where it's a kingdom.

He was found by some people and he looked like a maid so he was dragged to the kingdoms castle where he met the king of the kingdom.


Everyone thinks he is a maid but he explained that he is a butler. The kingdom doesn't have a clue on what butlers are or what they do, but the king is sure that he is like a maid and he was offered to work in the kingdom.


The protagonist has no choice to accept so he can try to live a life.

He accepted and then he was welcomed by two maids who will change his directions in life, it's either going to be heaven or hell.


That's one of the future stories I plan on writing.

I really like to write it and I really hope in the future everyone likes it, so as my future stories I'm planning to make.

I won't be writing more stories or chapters, until I finish highschool and find a job and get money and once that is done.


I'm going to start writing stories again, but I'm going to think that I already lost my talent for writing then.

Hey guys, I'm sorry for disappearing without really any warning. I know that everyone hates it when an author suddenly just stops writing. I feel that I have to explain myself a little. I hadn't really understood how much effort it took to put out a chapter, even if it would be just once a week. I didn't really have too much of a plan when I started writing this novel, I was just filling up all the free time that I suddenly got from a week suddenly becoming free. After that week, though, it got harder and harder to write chapters as I had work that needed to be done.

So again, I'm very sorry for what I did and I'm actually planning out a path for this novel to follow when writing so that I don't just fall into a writers block. I won't be putting out chapters too fast, most likely just once a week, with there maybe being more if I can find the free time.

Also, keep in mind that there will probably be some things that don't exactly line up with what I have written in earlier chapters since I haven't visited this novel in some time, so just ignore it when it comes up.

Hello peeps, your shameless author here. As you guys may have noticed I stopped updating the story for a while now. The main reason being that I did not like some of the earlier chapters nor did I like the direction the story was taking.

But with the last chapter, we come to an end for the first volume of the book. The next volume will be a bit broader than the past one with Ysion's journey to uncover the hidden enemy.

I initially planned on writing 3 volumes in total the first one is the home universe arc the second is a "Journey" type of arc without spoiling anything, there still will be chapters on the home universe but it will mainly focus on Ysion and his journey compared to the first one. 

The third and final volume will be the grand finale, or so I hope. I have a rough draft already though I may change a few minor details.

I apologize for the random updates and the disappearances, this past year was a bit too busy for me. I was offered a contract for this novel and a chance to turn it premium, but I did promise before that I am writing the story for free and it will continue to be as such, so I ended up refusing the contract.

I will not make any excuses on why I did not update or notify you guys, but I do hope you will understand that due to some personal real-life circumstances I was unable to, that and I kinda lost the motivation for a while after finishing this past volume so I took a break.

For now, to all those concerned and still following the story, I promise that I will finish it and try and work out a schedule for regular updates. 

Currently, I need a little bit of time to work things out and hopefully, by the time I come back and drop the first chap of the next volume, I will not be stopping nor having any type of breaks until the end of Volume 2.
