"Brother Monogatari," Seiji confidently told her his novel’s planned name.
"This name... isn’t quite as eye-catching as I’ll Die if I Don't Become Handsome," Saki remarked. "I hope that its contents are as outstanding as you say."
"You’ll have to see for yourself," Seiji said with a chuckle. "I’m going to call my home now and have Shika-chan... my relative send you the draft."
"Alright, I’ll be waiting."
They ended the call on that note.
Seiji instantly called Shika-chan and had her email a copy of his draft to Editor Yoshizawa.
All he could do now was wait. He was confident that Editor Yoshizawa would definitely call him back again today!
Saki instantly received Seigo Harano’s draft. She immediately began perusing it.
As a professional editor, Saki had strict standards for story drafts. If it couldn’t attract readers within a set word count, she would unhesitatingly give up on it, no matter who the author was.
And if she finished reading a draft from start to finish, then that basically meant the draft had passed her standards, and she would objectively give a review based on her impression.
She had given Seigo’s Become Handsome short story a review of "quite an attractive story" after one quick read-through.
Very few stories could actually receive such a good review from her on the first read-through!
Saki Yoshizawa’s strict standards were by far the highest in Thunderbolt Literature’s editing department.
When she was still a newbie, she had the astonishing feat of having criticized a young, formerly successful author to the point of making them break down in tears. And after she became more familiar with the line of work and increased her standards, she received the exaggerated nickname of "Wall of Disappointment."
All her coworkers had witnessed her rejecting newcomers’ drafts before and criticizing them to the point of despondency or leaving them in tears.
Even veteran authors would be nervous when sending her their drafts, and some even went to the point of specifically requesting editors other than her if possible.
The head editor had lectured her several times about it—he had tried to tell her to be "gentler" with the authors, and not break them.
At any rate, the nickname of "Wall of Disappointment" was no joke. If a draft could successfully get past this "Wall," it was considered a type of glory in the authors’ circle, just slightly behind that of receiving the head editor’s praise.
All the drafts that successfully passed this "Wall" would have good results after publication, better than the average results of drafts that didn’t pass this "Wall’s" standards. That’s why even though the authors always complained how Saki was too strict, she was still viewed as an important employee by the editing department.
All her coworkers believed in her ability and believed that she would eventually become an editor team leader, although this would depend on luck—the luck of receiving an excellent draft.
Saki had processed many good stories, but none were wildly popular hits yet, so she lacked absolutely convincing result. This meant that she was right on the border between an excellent editor and a famous editor known by everyone—she was barely on the wall.
Saki herself didn’t mind too much. She was just going through Seigo’s draft as per normal, using her own standards.
After she quickly read through the first page, she paused for a moment.
Instead of reading the next page, she started over again from the beginning and read again while paying close attention to every detail!
This was something she had never done before.
Saki didn’t even notice the change from her normal behavior, because all she could think of was the story she was reading right now.
This story was completely different.
It had a totally different writing style from Become Handsome, but it was just as excellent... no, even better!
The writing quality was quite high, and compared to Become Handsome, the part where it stood out the most was that it was something "fresh!"
At the very least, Saki felt that it was a fresh type of story, as she had never read such a style of light novel before.
This story seemed like a real-life romantic comedy at first. However, it was also mysterious and mystical, and there were also serious and elegant elements in the novel.
"Monsters; the abnormal; the unexplained; mystery... Brother, which word do you prefer?"
"The world may not be pure black and white, but black and white do exist and will always exist."
"Those that wear masks are humans; those that don’t wear masks are inhuman."
"Sister, don’t run around, something bad will happen."
...
Saki was drawn to sentences like these. As she quickly skimmed through the draft, she felt a strong compulsion to read further.
And when she read it again in more detail, she got addicted and lost herself in the words.
She was so lost in the story that she didn’t even hear one of her coworkers calling out for her, as her eyes were glued to her computer screen.
Saki’s female coworker thought it was rather strange. Just what was the famous "Wall of Disappointment" so busy reading?
She got curious and went over to Saki’s side to take a look at Saki’s computer screen.
A novel... when she tried reading it, Saki’s coworker also got lost in the story.
Who wrote this story? It was so well written.
Amazing!
Saki’s coworker forgot what she originally wanted to do and stood next to Saki, dazed, and read the story together with her.
This attracted another coworker’s attention.
Several editors came over as well, looked at the screen in curiosity, and were likewise attracted by the story.
When the head editor arrived at the office, he was astonished to see so many editors clumped together in one spot.
What was going on?
He walked over to the gaggle. "What are you guys doing?"
There was no response.
The head editor frowned at this and repeated his question in a louder voice.
The editors finally regained their senses and were sheepish to notice that their boss was standing beside them.
"Head editor, we’re reading a draft... it’s incredibly well written! The author is..."
The editors looked at Saki, unsure.
"The author is Idle Dimension by the Shore," Saki said, giving Seigo Harano’s pen name.
"Idle Dimension by the Shore... The person who wrote Become Handsome?"
"That author!? This is a totally different style from Become Handsome!"
"Can he change styles? Or is this his real style!?"
Idle Dimension by the Shore was a brand-new author who managed to rank #6 with his first short story.
This was an excellent result, so all the editors in the department had remembered this author’s pen name.
This might be an incredible newcomer... no, not might—this was definitely an incredible newcomer!
There was no doubting it anymore: his stories would definitely become bestsellers! All the editors who'd just read his draft shared this belief.
How long was it since the last time that all the editors would crowd together in front of the same computer screen to read a draft together?
The newer editors didn’t have such a memory, and only some of the veteran editors could recall... that the last time must have been about five years ago?
"Let me take a look," the head editor said in a solemn voice.
Saki stood up and let the head editor sit down in her seat.
The head editor’s name was Souzo Hattori. He was about fifty years old. His hair was greying, and his face was lined with deep wrinkles. He wore a pair of black-rimmed glasses and had dark gray eyes.
He went to the beginning of the draft and began reading with a sharp expression.
He read one page, two pages, three pages...
And stopped right there, took off his eyeglasses, and rubbed his eyes.
"Ten years... it’s been ten years since I’ve last had this feeling while reading a light novel." Souzo sighed as he put on his eyeglasses again.
Ten years... could it be, Souzo was comparing it to that story!? All the editors were astonished.
They all believed that this story was quite good, but they didn’t expect that Head Editor Hattori would actually compare it to that story from ten years ago.
That story not only became a huge hit in Sakura Island, it even became popular in many other countries and began a new legend for its generation!

"He's different than what I expected" is the first thought that pops into my mind as I look at the scrawny kid in front of me. His hair is dark brown, almost black, and his eyes are a deep green similar to wet moss. His professor proceeds to explain that he is an undergraduate student that is a great writer. But is unsure if he should pursue this job or another, more stable job. His concerns are valid. Anyone in this field, especially me, is worried about what their future will look like. Writing is a tough industry to be in. One minute your book could be a success, the next minute it is sold online for a quarter. And that is only if you pursue a writing career. 

If you are an editor, jobs can be hard to find. Yes, everyone wants to be published and there are thousands of people every day who bring in book proposals, but editors only see the books that make it, interns or other workers take care of reading the manuscripts while the editors help the authors get to the next stage of advertising the book and making it a success by offering revisions that authors may or may not take. It is especially hard because editors need to stay on top of the social world because interests and the way people advertise change in a flash. It can be really frustrating sometimes. 

Putting my hand out, I introduce myself to the boy. He takes it with a firm shake that surprised me from his small build. He seems shy, but he has a confident shake and that is important in this industry. If you are not confident in yourself, no one else will be confident in you. I learned this very quickly in my internship. 

After a little bit of push and pull, I find out that his name is Shane and he is only a freshman with parents who want him to do accounting even though he barely passed his math class in high school. 

As the conversation continues, he becomes more and more open with me and his sentences get longer and longer. It makes me proud and happy that he is slowly opening up to me. I want to be her mentor and his friend. I don't want this to be strictly business. I have enough of that in my life. Plus, this will be my first friend post-trauma. This is a significant point in my life and I need to take advantage of this opportunity.  

"How would you like to have lunch today? Do you have any classes?" 

"No, I finished earlier. I have short days on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays, but my Tuesdays and Thursdays are absolutely dreadful." 

"Get used to that. If you are a writing major or minor, the majority of the classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but as you get farther into your schooling, you will have Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays off."

He sits there silently for a moment or two, possibly contemplating what his future schedule is like. Remembering my earlier question, I redirect the conversation. 

"Would you like to have lunch today? You can ask me any questions that you would like and I will answer them the best that I can." 

"That would be great! Is there somewhere on or around campus we can go to? I don't have a car." 

"Of course! We can go to Starbucks and sit at one of the tables there. It shouldn't be too busy around this time." 

After saying goodbye to his professor, we walk over to Starbucks in friendly silence. It wasn't awkward, mostly because students were walking around here and there either talking to friends or on the phone.

I take Shane's order and tell him to find a table as I walk to the line. It's long as it usually is, but the workers are always quick to everyone's drinks out. A couple of minutes later, we are sitting across from each other at a small table in the corner. The volume is lower here, possibly because everyone sits in the middle, but it's nice. We can have a conversation without having to yell at each other. 

"Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?"

His question catches me slightly off guard, but I should have expected it. I mean, I am helping him choose whether writing is the career path that he wants to pursue. 

"Sure. Is there anything specific you want to know?" 

"No, not really. Maybe you can talk about how you first decided you wanted to write and what steps you took to get to where you are now." 

"Okay, let's see. I guess I can start from the beginning. Uh, I didn't have the best home life and I found that writing was something that always helped me calm down and cope. It still has the same effects today which is another reason I continued my writing career path. I find that inspiration is everywhere, even in places you don't expect, so as long as you know grammar skills and how to make characters rateable, you can write a story. 

"When I first started college, I really didn't know what I wanted to do. Similar to you, I was worried about the financial stability of having a writing career. It can be tricky, the market is always changing. And I needed money, I was on my own at that time and I had to take care of myself and some way to pay my tuition so my loans weren't as high as they would have been. I found a couple of apps where you could write and get paid. It wasn't much, but when I found out that people actually liked what I wrote, I became more motivated to get my words out there. 
"A couple of years later I was about to graduate with a bachelor's degree in writing. At this point, I had no idea what I could do with this degree or if I wanted to continue schooling. I looked up a few programs at colleges and decided to go to graduate school. I wanted a master's degree, at least, this way I could teach a writing course in high school if I could not find a job for a publishing house and I didn't have any ideas for a novel. 

"And then, last spring, I graduated with my master's degree and I work at a publishing house, not far from here, as an editor. But, I should back up a bit. When you are in graduate school, the program typically has a mandatory course where you have to intern at a location that you might be interested in working with after you graduate. I chose the publishing house I currently work at and interned there for the two years that it took to get my master's degree. After I graduated, they kept me on the team because they liked my work ethic, and I was friendly with the head of the editing department. It really helps to network no matter what field you are going into. 

"I think, if you really want to know whether writing is for you, you should give it a shot. I can mention your name to my boss and he may not be able to give you the job I had because you don't have a degree, but you can start as a lower-level employee and then work your way up."
He sits in his seat silently for a minute, absorbing all the information while he takes a couple of sips of his coffee. I don't blame him. I could have given him the condensed version of how I decided to be an editor.

"Wow. I feel like you. I have always used writing as a way out. I like being able to create my own world with it's own drama or-or a story with a happy ending that I can look forward to giving th charayeriers. It gives me hope that even if my life isn't going great at this moment, at least I can write about how I would like my life to be."

It is in this moment that I am more grateful than I could ever express for being introduced to Shane. He understands the need to write and how it provides an escape, a way out of reality and into a new world that we can mold anyway we want to. For us, it is another, happier, life. 

"It is great to have someone who understands the impact of writing. Just hearing you talk makes me certain that you should be a writer. Of course, discuss this with your parents, they can be tough, but I would use some of your electives to take a few writing courses, preferably creative writing, so you can see if this is the right fit for you."

"Thank you. I would like to try to get an internship at the place you work. Would you be able to give me someone's contact who I can call to set up an interview?" 

"Of course. When I go to work, I will ask my boss whose number to give to you. I am really glad that we were able to do this. Would you like to meet again sometime?"

"Yes, if I want to convince my parents to let me pursue this, I need to have all the facts."

"Great, let me know when you want to meet again. You have my number, just call or text me and we will set something up." 

"Thanks again, Rose. I will see you soon." 

"See you then." 

He leaves the table taking his coffee with him. I am glad we were able to do this. I think this is definitely going to help me, and in the process, help him as well.

Such users may seek information from the English Wikipedia rather than the Wikipedia of their native language because the English Wikipedia tends to contain more information about general subjects. Often bringing in new perspectives, a strong motivation to contribute for them is to increase the coverage of topics outside the English world for an international audience and to enrich existing topics with missing information from non-English countries, thereby helping to reduce systemic bias. English Varieties
One controversy in the English Wikipedia concerns which national variety of the English language is to be preferred, with the most commonly advocated candidates being American English and British English.[25] Perennial suggestions range from standardizing upon a single form of English to forking the English Wikipedia project. A style guideline states, "the English Wikipedia has no general preference for a major national variety of the language" and "an article on a topic that has strong ties to a particular English-speaking nation uses the appropriate variety of English for that nation".[26] An article should use spelling and grammar variants consistently; for example, color and colour are not to be used in the same article, since they represent American and British English, respectively. The guide also states that an article must remain in its original national variant.
There has been a similar issue in the Chinese-language Wikipedia concerning regional differences in writing. Efforts toward a language fork for Portuguese Wikipedia have failed, but those regarding Norwegian Wikipedia succeeded.
Andrew Lih wrote that the English Wikipedia "didn't have the chance to go through a debate over whether there should be a British English Wikipedia or an American English Wikipedia" because the English Wikipedia was the original edition.[27][clarification needed] Editors agreed to use U.S. spellings for primarily American topics and British spellings for primarily British topics. In 2009 Lih wrote, "No doubt, American spellings tend to dominate by default just because of sheer numbers."[28]
Disputed articles
A 2013 study from Oxford University concluded that the most disputed articles on the English Wikipedia tended to be broader issues, while on other language Wikipedias the most disputed articles tended to be regional issues; this is due to the English language's status as a global lingua franca, which means that many who edit the English Wikipedia do not speak English as a native language.[clarification needed] The study stated that the most disputed entries on the English Wikipedia were: George W. Bush, anarchism, Muhammad, list of WWE personnel, global warming, circumcision, United States, Jesus, race and intelligence, and Christianity.[29]
Threats against high schools
Several incidents of threats of violence against high schools on Wikipedia have been reported in the mainstream press.[30][31][32] The Glen A. Wilson High School was the subject of such a threat in 2008,[30][31][32] and a 14-year-old was arrested for making a threat against Niles West High School on Wikipedia in 2006.[33]
Wikiprojects, and assessments of articles' importance and quality

A "WikiProject" is a group of contributors who want to work together as a team to improve Wikipedia. These groups often focus on a specific topic area (for example, women's history), a specific location or a specific kind of task (for example, checking newly created pages). The English Wikipedia currently has over 2,000 WikiProjects and activity varies.[34]
In 2007, in preparation for producing a print version, the English Wikipedia introduced an assessment scale of the quality of articles.[35] Articles are rated by WikiProjects. The range of quality classes begins with "Stub" (very short pages), followed by "Start", "C" and "B" (in increasing order of quality). Community peer review is needed for the article to enter one of the highest quality classes: either "good article", "A" or the highest, "featured article". Of the about 4.4 million articles and lists assessed as of March 2015, a little more than 5,000 (0.12%) are featured articles, and fewer than 2,000 (0.04%) are featured lists. One featured article per day, as selected by editors, appears on the main page of Wikipedia.[36][37]
The articles can also be rated as per "importance" as judged by a WikiProject. Currently, there are 5 importance categories: "low", "mid", "high", "top", and "???" for unclassified/uncertain level. For a particular article, different WikiProjects may assign different importance levels.

As I got up feeling the vibrating of my phone on my bed I answered it quickly as he saw it was a call from Director Fury as he answered the phone I said in a sleepy voice "hello?" wondering why he called me so early I thought to myself, probably for a mission. "Captain I have a mission for you, and Tony so gets here quickly," Fury said in a pissed off tone.

Steve quickly got up and started to take off his white T-shirt and boxers to take a quick shower before he went to S.H.E.L.D. As he got out drying his hair and getting his favorite leather jacket on and his grey T-shirt with some jeans he left his house and took his motorcycle to S.H.E.L.D. When he arrived at S.H.E.L.D Director Fury was already waiting in the meeting room while still waiting on Tony to be there.

A couple of minutes went by still waiting for Tony to arrive at S.H.E.L.D they heard the Ironman thrusters getting closer and closer until they saw the suit and Tony walked out of it. 

-Tony's POV-

As I arrived at S.H.E.L.D I could see Fury and Steve waiting for me in a private room. As I walk into the room I joke around with Steve saying "Hey capsule"  I said jokingly "Shut up!" Steve said. "Why are we both here?" Steve and I said together, "You both have been assigned to find a person called "Deadpool." we don't know too much about him but we do know his name Wade Wilson. He was in a fire a while ago but after that fire he changed."

When Fury gave me and Steve the files on him we both looked at the information they had on him quickly. Fury explained that they would have 2 weeks to find more information about him and bring him in. Fury left the room leaving only Steve and Tony by there selfs. "Only 2 weeks?" I whispered to myself "I bet I could do it in one week" I said to Steve and before I left the room I said," see you later capsule." I winked.

-Steve's POV- 

I blushed a bit even know I knew Tony was joking around. I thought to myself for a while thinking was I falling for him? Did I have a crush on Tony Stark?

Rebecca was going to put an end to this. It was easy finding people's workplaces online, and when she found out at which company Kyle Merchi worked at, she was determined to bring back the name of the traitor from Draven's team. Hopefully it would bring enough peace for Draven to return to how he used to be, and not some grumpy rude boss. Kyle Merchi worked at GVY Co., and since it had multiple branches of buildings, he worked at the GVY studio. That was usually where he cooperated with the directors and producers of television shows with his script, and after pitching ideas, they usually asked him to go over the script with him and get more basis of the storyline. 

Rebecca stomped her way inside the studio building, and when the secretary did not recognize, she was immediately pointed out. "Excuse me? You don't seem familiar—do you have a pass?" 

"No, I have an appointment with Kyle Merchi," she lied, hoping the lady would allow her in. She seemed grouchy, and Rebecca tilted her head with a bright appealing smile, hoping the lady would be nicer to her if she had good energy. 

Which did not make a difference, since the lady simply called Kyle Merchi's office. Confusion contorted her face as Kyle declined having an appointment, and Rebecca leaned over the counter, whispering, "Tell him I have news on Draven." 

The secretary responded with her statement, and immediately, Kyle replied, "Send her up." Rebecca was followed in the elevator by a security guard, and was lead to Kyle's office. Once she arrived, the security guard did not leave, watched her knock on his door and waited until he shouted, "It's open." 

She rushed inside, the suspicious eyes of the security guard frightening her, and she closed the door. When she faced Kyle, his eyes were alerted, his arms were folded and he did not seem friendly. He was seated at the edge of his desk, his legs crossed by his calves and he immediately asked, "You don't have news on Draven, do you?" 

"Not exactly." 

"You were at the awards event, I noticed you standing with Draven." 

Rebecca slowly nodded her head, "I'm one of his editors—" 

"I'm giving you thirty seconds. If what you have to say isn't good enough, then I'm calling security." 

Although she wanted to curse at him for his disrespect, but she maintained her composure and said, "I need to know who leaked the comic chapters." 

Kyle was surprised, raising his eyebrows before asking smugly, "Why should I tell you?" 

"He'll fire everyone if you don't." 

"The cause of his own downfall," Kyle shrugged his shoulders, "I should come to aid for what reason exactly?" 

Rebecca sighed impatiently, "It's not to help, it's a fact we deserve to know." 

"I deserve to have nobody pursue my fiancé while knowing he's with me, but I guess we don't all get what we want." 

"If Draven was pursuing Eric, he would be much bolder than to write a damn revengeful comic book, don't be full of yourself." Rebecca leaned on one hip, noticing Kyle's eyes widen, "Besides, you two are happy so what does it matter? You worried he'll leave you?"

Draven had taken four days off, and although he had not completely gotten rid of his gloomy side, hearing that the first four chapters of the comic were doing very well, was awesome to hear. They had reached more sells than his previous novel in the span of a week, and he was excited to write more of it. At first, it was a revenge project against Eric, but now he simply wanted to write for the fans' amusement. 

When he reached the building for the first time in four days, he was not surprised to find the editors eagerly waiting at their desks for him. The moment he stepped inside, shouts of congratulations cheered across the floor as they clapped, showing the selling numbers of his comic. 

It lifted his mood, and he waved his hand, thanking all of them as he made his way to the front of the floor. Miranda, Rebecca, Jason and Hector were present, and he made certain to ignore Hector as he walked by him. Then, he threw his briefcase on the desk, placed his palm on his hips and said, "Thank you for that, really made my day." He then clamped his hands together, "So! How are my other projects coming along? Jill, have you worked on Conqueror's Achievements?" 

"Yes, I altered the designs and will have the new copy printed by this evening." 

"Perfect. Kevin, how's Diamond coming along?" 

Kevin waved his hand, "Almost done with the editing!" 

"I need that by tomorrow night Kev." 

"I know boss, you can count on me." 

"Thank you for that," he smiled, then his eyes continued across the room, asking other editors about his other projects. Everything seemed to be following along smoothly, and that was his cue to head for his office and take care of all the documents he missed through those four days. 

Once he passed the secretary, who winked at him, he winked back and entered his office. However, before he closed the door he said, "If you have any documents for me to sign, my door's going to be unlocked, so just come in." 

She nodded her head, "Will do." 

Draven entered his office, and immediately reached for his glass cabinet and his bottle of whiskey. Rebecca had told him who had done it, and it had not yet been disgusted by his stomach. He still had difficult believing it, but all he wanted to focus on at the moment was writing, until the right moment to confront Sophie came along. He finished his first glass of whiskey, pushed the glasses up the bridge of his nose, pulled his pen from his cabinet and started writing. He was interrupted a few times by editors, until his secretary came in urgently, asking him to sign documents that she immediately needed to fax over to a different company. 

Draven pulled the glasses from his nose, "What is this for?" 

"It's for our lawyers, in case you get sued for your new comic. It's not exactly legal to use real life situations without consent from others involved." 

He laughed, "I guess you're right." Without reluctance, his pen scribbled across the signature line and his secretary smiled. 

"Thank you, sir." 

"You're welcome, Sophie." 

The secretary to halted in her steps; Draven never called her by her first name. It was always my secretary, or a thank you without nothing following. But today, he called her by her name.

"I'm not sure what you're talking about-"

"I like you," Draven said clearly with his entire diaphragm, expression it as loud as he could for Eric to understand.

Eric felt his throat squeeze itself shut, no oxygen coming in or out.

"I like you, a lot more than I thought, Eric," he breathed.

Eric was unable to believe it, shook his head and looked away for moment, before meeting his gaze again. 

"Why me?" he asked quietly.

Draven shrugged his shoulders, eyeing Eric with adoration and admiration, "I'm not sure either, but I want you to be mine."
