Obviously, I don't know how it feels like to be pregnant. I only know the fear of the pain that comes to me frequently in the place where a baby should live and the dark thought that I will never have the choice to have children because my own body won't let me.

Anyway, I spent an entire day with my lola last weekend, and she talked about the wars that she lived through. Back in Vigan, they had a basement where they hid all the beautiful girls in their family whenever the Japanese would raid their town.
I've also been intrigued by Afrofuturism lately. I've been looking for books by Octavia Butler—if you know where I can get a copy of any of her books or where I can read her short stories online legally, let me know. This one book, Kindred, stuck to me. It's about a time travelling woman who meets her ancestors and is given a choice between allowing violence to happen to her ancestor and live in the future or to stop it and risk never existing at all. Wow.
Anyway, this is one of those stories that won't let me write other things until I put it on paper. It's been keeping me up at night for an entire week. I couldn't read anything else. I can't add new chapters into that other project. I can't even sleep even when I'm sleepy. Stephen King said that a good idea will stick to you no matter what. I wish I knew that it would keep me up at night like a serialized nightmare until I give into what it wanted me to do.
I don't know if I'll keep this story online long. I might take it down after a month or so if I still don't know what to do with it by then. 
But at least, finally, it's done, and I can move on to other things. And only Malaya will keep up.

I might have already guessed what I am going to write in this book but still, I have no clue how it will go and where it will take me.

A week ago I came online on my phone and one of my friends kept disturbing us to read her book on wattpad so I was forced to get the app "Wattpad" and when I read her book "My oh my" I loved it soo much infact you guys should check her out on wattpad her name is in my synopsis. 
Then from there I just got a huge thought, In my head that i used to write books when I was little, so why don't I head out and share my new books with wattpad but from there everything changed completely; I shared one of my books and in one day I got 20 views, 6 votes, And 4 comments I just laughed an replied all of them with positive comments.

A family with problems that they overcomed at the end of day with prayers, hopes, and beleives.

While the remaining 99.99% of books are left in the ocean of books without readers.

But these had nothing to do with him for now, nor with Pi. He decided to get Pi started with a small goal, which was getting a contract with the website and becoming the 1/9. Others could be done after. According to the posts, if they got a contract, the website would promote their work, and make the novel visible to more readers.

In the month or two since I've been editing and publishing The Misanthropist's Guide to Philanthropy online, the most common critique I have received is in regards to the length; paragraph, chapter, and sentence structure have been pointed out as having been longer than what most readers are accustomed to. I would like to address that here. 
While I am very grateful there are a handful of people reading, and even more grateful that some of you take the time to analyze and critique my work, I have to inform everyone that I unfortunately have no intent to change the story's composition.
I have to stress that I WROTE THIS MANY YEARS AGO. These days I work two jobs and as a martial arts instructor. As much as I'd love to turn writing into a profession, the entire reason I'm publishing online is because that avenue of my life has been closed. What you read on Webnovel or Wattpad is material I have completed long ago and am merely spending an hour or two a week editing.
As for why I wrote it this way…
If you have read the preface, you would know that I am a fan of both classical literature, epics, and fantasy. Gun to my head, I would probably name Edgar Allan Poe as my favorite author of all time. My style of writing was heavily influenced by authors like him, Mark Twain, H.P. Lovecraft, and Wu Cheng'en.
 It is a product of the times, I feel, that you don't see works like theirs anymore. As more forms of media become the dominating vessel of consumption, books have kind of gone by the wayside. With television, social media, video games, and work dominating so much our time these days, I feel like many people don't have the time or energy to devote to a good, long reading session.
If you go back and look at books like "The Count of Monte Cristo," or the "Sherlock Holmes" stories, you'll see what I mean. People spent their leisure time reading when there was nothing more to do, and as such authors truly had to refine their craft to appeal to the well read masses. You saw expansive lexicons, references to other languages, and idiosyncratic styles of writing (such as Poe's excessively drawn out, macabre paragraphs).
MGP, which I wrote many years ago, sits at about a 120,000-140,000 word count (some of what I wrote is stuff for Volume 2 and material I never included in the initial manuscript, hence the word range). For reference, a book like Adrzej Sapkowski's "The Last Wish," whose story format heavily influenced Volume 1 of MGP, is about 89,000 words long. Homer's, "The Iliad" is roughly 150,000 words long.
Across the ~130,000 words are a total of 24 chapters spread across 15 individual stories. Like the authors of old, whom I have come to revere, I aspired towards that excessive, grandiose method of writing, with run-on sentences and a vocabulary non-conductive to modern colloquialisms. This is to exaggerate the main character's contemplative thought processes and age. Keep in mind, it's written in the first person and the protagonist is a very old man.
 This book was written in my college years. I was, and sadly still am, a very jaded, very angry man. This book was written as my sort of "Catcher in the Rye." I was born on the Autistic Spectrum and have had little to no social interaction most of my life. As a result, I have born witness to the human condition from a sort of extrospective perspective. I have seen and been part of horrible things and have always looked at life with a lack of "humanity." I felt that this idea, this philosophy, could best be conveyed through the medium of books done in the style of that ye-olde vernacular.
 While I could never claim to be as eloquent or impactful as Edgar Allan Poe, it was his style of writing which dominated my thought process as an author. From the contemplative, lumbering passages to the wildly eccentric and sporadic quips, I saw in his work a vessel for my disdain, for my misanthropy.
Obviously I could never hold a candle to people like Poe or Dumas, and as just another gen-y boy my vocabulary may be limited, but I tried my best to emulate without compromising my own style. 
Unfortunately for most of you, my readers, this prolixity is, as I view it, integral to my style and not likely to change. I did not write this with the idea of "paragraph comments" or yelp(?) reviews. I did not write this thinking of Twitter or Youtube clout. I did not write this to appeal to the sensibilities of a generation of people who can't sit down for five minutes without looking at their phone or who only read Japanese Isekai LNs. I wrote this for people who know how to use a bookmark. I wrote this for people who can remember what happened in their story yesterday because they can't "binge watch" it in one day. But above all, I wrote this for myself.
I am glad there are some people out there interested, and I thank you all profusely for your time! But as I said, unfortunately - not only as a byproduct of my lack of time or energy, but also because it is integral to my style – the structure of this volume will remain unchanged.

Written in the guise of a dark fantasy, the stories highlighted in this volume exaggerate the sinister side of human nature from the perspective of someone disassociated from the species.

    Senpai could be annoying sometimes, but she was my senpai, and i could never be mad at her. Hold on you guys. You need to know what happened before this. I am going to start from the beginning.
    It all started one day when i wanted to write a book. I opened the Google Play Store and saw this app called Wattpad. It was amazing! I could write books, and read books, and talk to people about books. And I could socialize while doing it! I loved it. I started reading a Naruto fanfiction called Reborn. It was really cool. I followed the person who wrote it, aaliswalker, and asked her to read my book, Powerless: a Boruto Fanfiction (which is also my book from wattpad. please check it out) and give me some feedback. Later that day, I got a message from her saying that my book was a little too fast-paced but other than that it was good (^-^). And so started a relationship like never before.
    "The internet is amazing, walker-san! I met u on it. It has just one flaw tho..." I chatted to senpai.
    "And what's that?" she chatted back.
    "We wont know for sure if we r who we say we r. Which means we could pass up the chance for a good friend and not kno it. Ya kno what I mean?"
    "Yes. And then you could meet a good person and not kno it and just leave them before you should've. It's kinda sad, really"
    "I wish the internet had some way of verification."
    "If only, if only."
    "I gotta go to bed senpai. It's 2:30 here. I already stayed up until 5 talking to you before, but i need to go to bed earlier for once. Goodnight senpai!"

    I went to my room and opened a real book. Not one from a screen. "Marked," by P.C. and Kristin Cast. I started up where I left off last time.
    "From this day on, my life would never be the same. And for a moment--just an instant--I forgot the horror of not belonging and felt a shocking burst of pleasure, while deep inside of me the blood of my grandmother's people rejoiced." It was a good book. After a couple of pages I looked at the page number, 24, and went to sleep. 
    "Thank you senpai," I thought. "Thank you for talking to me."

Spore Evolution's Beta Test 2.0 had commenced.
The Internet had been keeping a close watch on the development of this game. Even the other online game giants were paying close attention. From their point of view, the game definitely had an appalling team skilled in the use of black technology to support its operation behind the scene. This allowed the incorporation of such alarming techniques that could stimulate the players' five senses in a virtual setting. This game could be used to realize a second world.
Just by looking at the super-realistic graphics of the sandbox, as well as the physics engine of this game, it seemed likely that several supercomputers had been used in order to manage the operation of this sandbox world and perfectly achieve the infinite possibilities of evolution that the countless species could choose from.
According to the modeling and analysis of relevant professionals from the gaming industry, a game server with a hundred people would need three supercomputers to perfectly simulate such a realistic environment.
What concept was this?
This meant that on average, every thirty people would have one supercomputer committed to serving them!
Given how advanced technology was at present, a supercomputer would at least cost more than 20 million yuan, and most large online games could not afford it. A server that was built with the use of a supercomputer could run multiple online games at the same time.
And now, a game with only a hundred players was using three supercomputers, which was worth over sixty million dollars. This meant that on average, every beta test player was using up six hundred thousand yuan worth of computing resources! A monthly recharge fee of 50 thousand yuan was definitely nothing to those tycoons who readily spent hundreds of thousands of yuan on recharging in online games, but to the average player, this was simply a nightmare. It was not a game they could afford to play.
But surprisingly, at the moment, "Spore Evolution" was not in a rush to recoup any cost, nor was it planning to open any payment channels. Instead, it opened up another 50 beta tester slots, which meant that it was directly adding two more supercomputers.

There were others who jeered at those who worked hard on the research work while they were simply acting like they were doing the same. "Seems like I have to hire someone to write the thesis on my behalf. It's probably pointless for me to go on CNKI's (China National Knowledge Infrastructure) website and plagiarize some foreign thesis. I have to go to the university to find a professional tutor, spend a hundred thousand yuan to get the tutor to write a professional thesis for me."

They put aside all online labor work that earned them so little for the great amount of work they had to do and began to study academic papers to acquire professional knowledge.

The point they wanted to make was simple:
Mighty game planner, I have already figured out how to play this sandbox game. I have planned how I will evolve my species. All I need now is a spore to practice with. So hurry up and give me the slot!


In the tribal farming era, the world was vast and unknown. Upon continuous exploration, the people of ancient times were appalled to discover that in this world, where the sky was round and the earth was square, all sorts of miracles had befallen them. There were even figures like an ultra-big ten-thousand-foot giant, as well as huge intelligent beasts that had mysteriously appeared, trampling upon the mountains and rivers, and shattering the earth. To begin with, Standing Under The Umbrella was inspired by my favourite songs at Spotify. If weren't for those songs, this story wouldn't have shown up or uploaded at Wattpad.
I was just a girl with ample leisure time and felt worthless (to be honest) scrolling down from online news to flipping ink printed newspaper pages, cover to cover, I saw that everyone was contributing themselves to help out during the coronavirus outbreak. Their story was great and amazing, to be truthful. And that's where it left me to think about myself. "I've been doing the same lazy routine every day," I thought.
I, my desk and my schedule were left. Then, one day, my sister bragged about her friend who wrote a fantastic, brilliant story called 'His' on Wattpad, which had more than thousands of views. "Oh, my god" My eyes widened and swore that my very jaw would break apart.
Competition, I would say, raised my spirits to open the app that hasn't been touched for years, Wattpad, and type down story ideas that were appearing in my head. I spent countless nights, days, trying to get it right.
After a few hundred words, my head was empty and I didn't have any other ideas. I spun my chair and looked at my left, where my library was. Books filled the shelves from top to bottom until there were books stacked on top of another on the floor due to the space limit. I am not a fan of books, I read only some of them.
I picked out a book and saw the structure and the way they put the words and how it was meaningful and shows a lot of actions. I encouraged myself to study the book and sure, listen to a couple of songs: lofi-beats, Khai Dreams, CIKI and more. The lyrics gave me ideas that were useful in my story.
Writing the story down, I planned to write something fresh, bland and touching. Great, I had the right Idea. I flipped open my old books and saw that I used to favour a specific character with an attitude of ice with a hint of humour, hair white as snow, eyes dark as pearls and a depressing background story. Perfect.
Dragging her into the story had made me ever so close to my past memories. I opened the book again and saw striking characters: Asahi, Aiko, Liam, etc. I didn't stop writing continuously until life greeted me with a gift- work, loads of them. My Ideas soon was about to fade but I kept on referring to my old books and write down ideas whenever it appears. My time spent in front of my laptop lessen and I began slacking off. And that's how Standing Under The Umbrella, also known as S.U.T.U, gets the flow of its story.
Kori, a daughter of a millionaire was raised by her father with no mother. All of her mother's background was gone or simply covered by her father, Mr Yotashima. Growing in the care of nobody has lead rumours about her. Her classmates at school began to tease her, push her around and whatnot. She knew that she can't fight back, it will just worsen the rumours. Hiding in the darkness, the only light that appeared was when she was at the bottom of her pit: Asahi. But that memory of the boy has seemed to disappear along with the rest. Slowly, her memories appear together with the people involved.

"No, we can't do that. Master Lin instructed us not to upload the video if the Senior Professors made an official apology. He said that if this video were to get out, the impact would be huge."
The Editor in Chief gave a serious look. "Pay attention to the situation online. If any of those Senior Professors decide to come out to slander Master Lin, upload the video immediately. Put it on the biggest billboard and let the whole world see it."
"Understood."
The Editor in Chief's instructions was handed down to every single newspaper office in the nation.

Zhao Ming Qing was panting with rage in his office.
"Director, this is the new material handed to us by the Ministry of Education. Let us do an introduction to it." the headmaster of the school came over, showing Zhao Ming Qing the new books.
Zhao Ming Qing was in a bad mood. The new teaching material was perfect, albeit the authorship of the book, and that made him really angry. "You can give an introduction to the book, but remove all the names of the authors except for Lin Fan's name."
The headmaster said worried. "That isn't a good thing to do. These books were issued by the Ministry of Education."
"I don't give a damn. I'm the director of this institution and I say that you bring it back and get the authorship changed before you do the introduction. Do I make myself clear?"
The headmaster nodded. Alright, since the director has spoken, so be it.

Lin Fan chuckled. "They wanted to ride on my prestige and popularity."
"What? These buggers dare to cheapen the hard work of my son? Don't worry son, your father and I are your biggest supporters. Don't be scared of them, but of course, don't break the law again." Mother Lin said.
"I know. Don't you worry," Lin Fan helplessly said. Could it be that all they thought of him was him loving to break the law?
Thereafter, Lin Fan opened his Weibo, and he couldn't stand the sight of it.
The group of Senior Professors continued to bash Lin Fan online and they had a lot of supporters. Although some of them didn't bash him directly, their posts conveyed the meaning that Lin Fan was wrong, narrow-minded and only cared about his fame.
And this problem was getting out of hand.
There were even a few bigshots who came to criticize Lin Fan.
"He has the skills of a fine doctor but no morals. He isn't suited to be in this industry."
That comment was rather critical, but Lin Fan just brushed it off. This b*stard, I'll let you have your fill now. You will regret it later.
"Editor in Chief, should we post the video now? All those Senior Professors are getting out of hand. We have to play our trump card."

Every single news agency started getting into motion.
They had been waiting impatiently, their hands holding on to the important evidence that Lin Fan had sent them, yet unable to expose it. This was slowly killing them on the inside.
But now, those Senior Professors were getting out of hand. All they ever did whole day was rant about Lin Fan online, and it was time to take action against them.
Once they released the video for everyone to watch, it would be over for the Senior Professors, and as if it wasn't enough, the Editor in Chief took up the pen himself to write the news article, preparing for a huge storm.
