Lyn: Huh..?
Hesitantly, Devon used his hand to wipe the tears that were threatening to fall from Lyn's eyes.

"..Actually, I was just kidding..
I didn't think that the curse of yours is true since it sounded ridiculous and that it was made up as you didn't actually want me to know your secret.." Devon explained.

Wow, I actually shed soo much tears..for a joke?!
Lyn did not know whether to feel angry or relieved; 
angry that she cried for a joke, relieved that the curse did not work and Lyn did not lose Devon

"You jerk! I actually thought that my curse worked and that you'd forget about me!" Lyn sobbed even harder, punching him hard in his chests
 She wanted him to experience just a little of the pain her heart felt when she thought that she'll lose Devon.

"...sorry" that's all Devon managed to say as he allowed Lyn to hit his chest, no letting a sound out even if it hurts. 

Really?! I held back so much of my tears for a joke and all you say is just a sorry?
As angry as Lyn may be, she soon stopped punching Devon's chest for fear that he would be in pain, and when he is in pain, Lyn will somehow feel pain too, although she had no idea why.

"Sorry is not enough! You must make up to me!" 

"...Fine. What do you want?" Devon asked with caution, 
for he remembered the time when he allowed Lyn to make any request and ended up, forcing him to almost confess his love for Greggy's hair when he actually hated it and can't stand the sight of her hair.

"Just promise me that you will never ever forget about me, okay? ...Even if my curse worked, you must remember me!" Lyn said it with a sense of fear and insecurity.

Knowing that he held an important place in her heart, Devon was happy and touched. After all, just how long ago did someone actually not want to lose him genuinely? People that got close to him were usually those that are after his family's fortune, money-minded and realistic. After being hurt and betrayed many times, Devon got used to the dark side of humanity and forget about the goodness in humanity. At least, not until he met Lyn. 

Even if the whole world betrayed him, he knew that Lyn wouldn't. 
Even if no one shed real tears for him, he knew that Lyn would.
Even if Lyn did not request this, Devon made it his mission to remember Lyn forever.

"Promise." Upon saying that, Devon used actions to prove his words - he hooked his pinky with Lyn's, sealing the promise with their thumbs.

Of course, that was only enough to assure Lyn but not keep the promise.
When he got home after school, he immediately wrote a diary about how close he and Lyn are, her personal information, her curse etc. He even saved her contacts as Lyn with a heart 'Lyn <3'.

The diary goes like this..

Date: 18/03/18, Monday
I'm writing this for myself if I somehow lost my memory about Lyn one day. She is very pretty, smart, kind and likes dogs , someone I can never forget, not just because I promised her so, but also because I promised myself too...
*A/N: (I'll skip the part where they first met and were not close.)
..The first time she went my house and saw Ken, she paid all her attention on Ken and never even bother looking for me. I was a little upset that a dog had more attention than me, so I shot Ken a 'go upstairs' look and he understood immediately. Maybe that's the first time I started wanting to be closer than classmates, for I actually ate beyond my limit just to eat with her, who came without  having lunch. I even cooked for her and forget about the loneliness I felt at home when I spent time with her. Although she made me had a stomachache the next day, it was worth it just to feel that bit of warmth at home again, even if its just for a short while. I thought that maybe only I would think that the things we shared are special, till the time we played truth and dare. She said that she had a secret - she have a curse with boys and when she gets too close to a boy, the boy will just forget about the memories they had together and become a stranger. You'd probably not believe her curse for I did not believe it either when she said it. It was only when I acted like I was cursed with her curse and saw her crying (for thinking that her curse caused her to lose me) did I realised, what I thought was one-sided, was actually mutual. We both cherished our times together and don't wanna lose each other so she made me promised not to forget her, which is sorta the reason for this diary to exist. I will also help her to lift this curse if possible, if not, just live with her curse.

[uhh..okay..] Although Lyn did not know what Devon was up to, she trusted him fully.

Characters in this novel can really forget or pretend to forget about events. Just who's lying and who's telling the truth? You never know. However, one thing's for sure - Lyn have a curse with guys. When she gets too close to one, the guy will suddenly forget everything about her during the moments that they grow close. However, thats not all..?

Am I hearing things? Lyn began worrying about her body as she seem to be suffering from hearing loss at a young age. To make things worse, she also saw things that doesn't make any sense. 
"Oh no..am I seeing things too?"

"You don't believe me?" Bu Fang asked Jin Jiao in a serious voice. 
"What do you have to make me believe you?" Jin Jiao retorted. 
Even the Immortal Cooking Realm's Realm Lord couldn't do that, so how could he, a mortal and only a First Grade Immortal Chef, do it? Where did he get his guts to say that? 
Lord Dog said nothing. From the sky, he gently landed on the ruined ground. 
"Lord Dog is tired. Let me rest for a while…" He mumbled as he laid on the ground. 
Actually, he believed in Bu Fang. That was because Bu Fang… was not as he used to be. His cooking would always be beyond people's estimation, surprising them in the end. 
Furthermore, Lord Dog had witnessed how Bu Fang's dishes suppressed Nethery's curse… 
Although Lord Dog knew that, he said nothing. He was tired from flying, so he just wanted to lie down quietly… 
Jin Jiao and the others landed as well. 
Bu Fang descended with the Black Turtle Constellation Wok in his hand, indifferently looking at Jin Jiao. 
"Jin Jiao, Sir… Bu Fang's food can actually suppress my curse." 
From the Netherworld Ship in the distance, Nethery got off and approached them. As she walked, her legs seemed to sparkle like gems. 
Her black dress gently fluttered in the wind, and her black, waterfall-like hair swayed, which set off her fair and flawless skin. 
She was breathtakingly beautiful, like a lady walking out of a painting. 
Jin Jiao glanced at Nethery, saying nothing. 
Although Nethery was very beautiful, seeing her exquisite and breathtaking face, he couldn't help but remember that violent woman, which made him shudder inwardly. 
With a sword, she dared to rebel against all the powerful families in Earth Prison. A fierce woman indeed. 
Violent, beautiful, and cold… All could be found in that strange woman. 
Remembering her words, Jin Jiao thought that he should bring the Netherworld woman back at all costs… 
The corners of Jin Jiao's mouth twitched once. He didn't know why his younger brother had a big crush on that violent woman. 
She was like the good women from the Dark Fox Tribe in Earth Prison, who had small waists and round buttocks… Indeed, they were all beauties. 
"Netherworld woman, you should know… with the curse in your body, you and that person wouldn't have a decent end if you stay together."
Jin Jiao looked at Nethery, the muscles on his face convulsing. "I didn't want to speak for him, but you have to understand that you got a curse that is enough to destroy the entire Immortal Cooking Realm… So, if you love him, please leave him."
Luo Ji was bewildered as she looked at Jin Jiao. Since when did that guy become a love guru? 
Anyway, what he said was true. 
Bu Fang and Nethery were speechless. 
That big man… Where did he get his relationship insights? 
"I'm just telling the truth. Bu Fang's dishes are different from the others. They can suppress the curse, but I don't know why either," Nethery said with a cold face. 
Jin Jiao furrowed his brows. He knew that it was not in Nethery's character to joke around. 
Could it be… 
Could that mortal's dishes actually suppress Nethery's curse?
If it were true… it would be really good! 
Jin Jiao looked at Bu Fang in surprise. 
Boom! Boom! 
Suddenly… 
The void shook hard. 
Jin Jiao and Luo Ji's expressions shifted, turning to one side to look at a far distance. 
There, the void cracked, and a pair of exquisite hands emerged from it. They tore the crack apart, making it a giant crack. 
Shortly after, two figures slowly walked out of it. 
"If that young chef said that his dishes could suppress my sister's curse, then we should bring him back to Earth Prison as well…" 
A voice arose nonchalantly. That voice rang out in an imposing manner, its terrifying and murderous aura evident. 
Far from them… 
Gongshu Ban and the others shivered in fear, their legs trembling. 
As soon as the two appeared, the entire air was filled with a murderous aura. 
"Wow… What a fierce aura!" 
A shiny black armor shrouded a sexy body. Her hair was swept up and held by metal rings, making her ponytail look like a whip on her head. 
Each metal ring came with a deadly aura, and whenever her hair swung, they seemed to whip the void broken. 
It was an extremely beautiful woman. 
Her exquisite face wasn't less beautiful than Nethery's. Furthermore, they looked almost alike. 
Although the woman wore black armor, she had a completely different style and manner from Luo Ji. 
Luo Ji had a hot body as well, and in her black armor, she looked evilly charming and adorable. 
In contrast, You Ji looked valiant and majestic. The armor on her legs included only greaves, which revealed her fair thighs. 
Although she looked vigorously heroic, she didn't lose her charming and attractive features. 
"Wow… Stunning!" 
Seeing the woman walking out of the void crack, Gongshu Ban and Xuanyuan Xiahui were dazed, seemingly captivated by her. 
Gongshu Yun noticed Xuanyuan Xiahui's stupid and enchanted look, and she immediately felt anger. However, she didn't know how to vent it out, so she poked his nose, making him roll and cross his eyes. 
"What are you looking at? You're not allowed to look!" Gongshu Yun said vehemently. 
Lord Dog looked at the two figures. 
One was a woman, while the other was a handsome man with a silver horn on his head. His silver hair scattered, giving him a noble and stunning look without losing his elegant features. 
He was totally different from that bald Jin Jiao. 
"You Ji… Yin Jiao… Why are you here?" Jin Jiao's eyes shrank. When he saw the two, he couldn't help but ask. 
You Ji indifferently looked at Jin Jiao. She raised her hand, and a wisp of Nether energy appeared on it. 
Buzz… 
With a loud boom, a shiny black radiance burst out from a distance. A moment later, a black broadsword emerged in You Ji's hand. 
That broadsword was so big. It was even bigger than her body. 
It was one of the five divine weapons that had subdued Nether King Er Ha, the Overbearing Hefty Sword. 
"Brother, you're too slow… And since you guys found the Netherworld woman, my babe couldn't wait. She wanted to come here right away." Yin Jiao squinted, looking gentle and handsome as he smiled. 
However, as soon as he said that… 
Swish! 
A massive sword was placed at his neck. The cold and menacing aura from its blade was so terrifying. 
"Who's your babe?" You Ji said in a cold voice. 
"Babe, what are you saying? My heart is only for you. You're my one and only babe!" Yin Jiao exclaimed, his eyes filled with love. "I like your violent face—" 
Boom! 
Before Yin Jiao could even finish his passionate speech, the broadsword slashed horizontally. He turned into a jet of silver light, shooting away as he crashed on the ground. 
"I don't want to see your face. Get lost!" 
You Ji was so cold. She put the Overbearing Hefty Sword on her back and didn't bat an eye on Yin Jiao, who she had just blown away. 
In the distance, rocks moved, rolling as Yin Jiao got up from the ruin. 
Two trickles of blood oozed out of his nostrils. He patted his silver hair, trying not to lose his elegant manner and appearance. 
"Babe, you're so bad… but your violent face is so cute!" 
Jin Jiao rubbed his forehead. He was a dignified man with a great reputation. How could he have such a masochist younger brother? 
Luo Ji's mouth twitched. When she looked at Yin Jiao, goosebumps appeared all over her body. "My Big Brother Nether King is still the most handsome…" 
Clear footsteps arose in the void. 
Soon, You Ji's eyes fell on Nethery. 
Nethery's shiny black eyes didn't move, gazing at the woman in black armor. 
Bam. 
As You Ji walked past Bu Fang, she didn't avoid him. Her shoulder collided with his shoulder, making Bu Fang frown. 
This woman… is so domineering and aggressive. 
She… She's Nethery's older sister? 
Nethery looked at You Ji. Her emotionless face couldn't help but shake once. Eventually, she opened her mouth to say, "Sister…"
Boom! 
A loud sound startled everybody. 
The heavy broadsword was thrust into the ground, and cracks expanded from the hole. 
As You Ji's hand held the broadsword's handle, she looked at Nethery, reaching out her other hand to grab the latter's head and shove it into her ample bosom. 
"Little girl, come home with me. That curse… I will take it for you!" 
Her touching words and majestic move stunned everyone. 
Bu Fang was astonished. At this moment, he was at a loss. 
Suddenly… 
You Ji, who was hugging Nethery, frowned. She lifted her head, looking at the sky. 
There, a naked little boy with two white wings was looking down, watching them. 
"What are you looking at?" 
You Ji's voice was cold. A moment later, she wielded the Overbearing Hefty Sword, flinging it at the naked boy in the sky. 
Swish. 
The void seemed to shatter, booming. 
Her move was too sudden that that boy couldn't avoid it, splitting him into two. 
Thud. 
The little boy that was halved fell on the ground… turning into some kind of fruit. An aromatic juice splashed out from it.
The entire place turned dead silent. 
"Wow! My babe… So stunning!" Yin Jiao rubbed his bleeding nose, his eyes infatuated. 
"Little girl, don't be scared. It's just my quirky habit. I hate people peeping on me the most. Actually, I'm very gentle." 
Lifting Nethery's head, You Ji checked her for a while before shoving her head back to her chest once again. 
On the Netherworld Ship, the Black Dragon King was protecting the sleeping Flowery. As he looked at the violent, imposing woman named You Ji, his mouth twitched. 
Now he knew why Nethery was so violent. It turns out she got violent genes. 
She f*cking had a violent sister too. 
After some time… 
You Ji released Nethery. Turning around, she looked straight at Bu Fang. 
"You… You are the chef that said he could control the curse?" 
Bu Fang froze. Then, he looked around to check before giving her a nod. "If you didn't ask anyone else… It's me." 
"Good." You Ji grinned. 
After that, she wielded the Overbearing Hefty Sword. It released a gust of strong wind as the sword's tip pointed at Bu Fang. 
"Then… you should come with my younger sister to Earth Prison!"

The Peak of the Immortal Tree, Fifth Layer of the Immortal Cooking Realm 
The atmosphere in front of the wooden house turned awkward. 
"M-My… My little brother Ginseng Fruit! You damn violent woman!" The blonde man cried out, covering his face as he grieved. 
Ya Ya was speechless. 
"Go, go, go! We must depart now. I want to have a few words with that woman! Why did she slash my little brother Ginseng Fruit?! He's innocent!" The blonde man said in a sorrowful voice, shedding tears. 
Ya Ya was bewildered. 
A moment later, she saw the blonde man flashing, reappearing at the edge of the tree's canopy. 
Rumble! Rumble!
A gust of strong wind came, blowing the man's blonde hair unceasingly. 
"The wind feels so cool… My heart is touched. It's the art of nudity…" the blonde man said passionately. 
Then, in front of Ya Ya's flabbergasted face, he jumped, hugging his knees. 
His naked body was like a little sun that bloomed with divine light. Rolling one round as he somersaulted in the air, he directly dove off. 
"Holy sh*t… Realm Lord, Your Highness! You can't go there naked!" 
Ya Ya's countenance changed greatly, tears rolling down on her face. 
Wasting no time, her body flashed. She gripped her long dress as her curvy body swayed, following him. 


In a fantasy world where martial artists can split mountains and creeks with a wave of their hand and break rivers with a kick, there exists a little restaurant like this.
The restaurant isn't large, but it is a place where countless apex existences will rush into.

There, you can taste the barbecued meat of a ninth grade supreme beast sprinkled with black pepper.
What? You want to abduct the chef? That's not going to happen, because there's a tenth grade divine beast, the Hellhound, lying at the entrance.
Oh, that chef also has a robotic assistant that killed a ninth grade supreme being with a single hand and a group of crazy women whose stomachs were conquered.

"wow! wow! wow! Curse? I just figured it was hereditary and i didn't get it?"..."Oh you got it if you didn't I wouldn't be here, you are the product of two alphas wich makes you and your brother the most powerful full breed werewolves, once you go through something with a lot of emotions it gets triggured and you change... and the change brakes every bone in your body twice  full moon or not but just that once it would be twice a month and it would be brutal".
"Thanks for that image in my head i can't wait"(sarcasm). I can't belive of all teens im the one who is a supernatural being, but now that im think about it I've never cut myself before or broken a bone.

"Okay, now I'm going to tell you the rules and our general goal for this program," Snake told us. 
We all straightened up and gave him our full attention. After seeing what we have done, he continued. 
 "There's a total of four missions and each mission will have a winner. The winner will receive an amazing prize."
 "Is there an ultimate winner?" I asked, raising my hand.
Everyone nodded. They all wanted to know too. 
 "The ultimate winner...yes, we do have one. For each mission, you get a number of points, and the one with the most points at the end is deemed the winner."
 "What's the prize?"
 "You get to be the opening performance at the Mu-music Asian Music Festival."
 "Wow~"
We all gasped. The Mu-music Asian Music Festival. It's a huge festival and anyone who knew anything about Korean entertainment knows it's the biggest festival of the year. Just being able to perform there in general is considered a huge honor. Performing the opening song is incredibly insane.
 "You also get an exclusive contract with the agency and prize money worth 3 billion won. If you already have a contract with another agency, then mu-music will do whatever it can to help you negotiate an agreement."
 "Wow~!"
 We all exclaimed again. Mu-music sure was on a different level.  And 3 billion won?! Jesus. 
 "Damn."
Suddenly, my interest was piqued. 3 billion...how much sashimi and lobster can I buy with that? No, how much food in general?
"So, you guys should all do your best to get first place."
 "Yeah!"
We all answered with swag. 
 "Now we're going to start the first mission. The first mission is a diss battle!"
At that, we all looked at each other and smiled nervously.  The first mission is a diss battle. Can we even do that when we barely know each other? Then again, I'm sure everyone has heard at least something or a few things about the other participants. Even more so since the other contestants are pretty well-known amongst those who live the contemporary lifestyle. Then again, the one whose name has been in the media the most is me. Does that mean that they'll mostly come after me?
 "You guys all know about each other, right?" Snake asked.
We all nodded. 
 "Okay, we're going to select the order very casually. If you want to go first, raise your hand," Snake said. 
Christine was the very first to raise her hand. Christine, the one who provoked me, Sniper, and snubbed Ga-yoon. If there was one good thing about her, it's the fact that she was ballsy. Of course, whether or not she had the skills to back that up remained to be seen. Who would she pick to battle? We all watched her. 
 "Oh, Christine? Okay, okay. So, Christine, go ahead and choose. But before we really start, whoever she chooses has the option to reject if they wish," Snake said. We all nodded.
"I pick Ga-yoon."
At Christine's answer, Ga-yoon smirked. Everyone clapped, no one looking the very least bit surprised.  
 "So Christine chose Ga-yoon. Why did you choose her, Christine?" Snake asked, amused. 
"It's just that…well…I just don't like her. She acts like she's a bigshot. She's not even that pretty."
Christine did sound really pissed and we all applauded her sincerity, including me. Ga-yoon, on the other hand, looked just as mad. It almost looked like she was asking Christine what she planned to do about it. The winner of another rap program. She looked like a Queen Bee and apparently she actually was. Anyways, she continued to glare, looking like she was ready to knock someone's face off. Christine didn't cower a bit and continued to glare back at Ga-yoon. 
 "Hahaha. Acts like a bigshot, huh? What do you think, Ga-yoon? Do you agree? Also, do you accept Christine's challenge?" Snake asked Ga-yoon. 
Ga-yoon's smirk got wider.
"Of course. When a prey walks into a tiger's cave on its own two feet, the tiger has no reason to kick it out."
 At that, we all oohed. Ga-yoon added, "What? You think I'm not pretty? I'm just acting like I'm a bigshot? I'm better than you. You bi...witch. Don't you guys agree?"
It was clear that she was about to curse but stopped herself midway. Then she looked at us, asking us to decide. We all looked at them, tilting our heads from side to side. The truth is, while Ga-yoon's body was amazing, her face was…hmmm...the way I saw it, the prettiest was me, but Christine was a close second. The girl could've been a girl group idol with that face. That, combined with her straightforward ways and ability to look fearless, was pretty enticing.
"You guys are clearly blind. Get some glasses or something," Ga-yoon snapped. 
We all smiled. Then Lil Sniper added, "You're pretty ugly, Ga-yoon."
Since it was Sniper, Ga-yoon couldn't just talk back. Instead, she simply twisted her lips into an ugly frown and muttered curses under her breath. Anyways, this meant that Christine and Ga-yoon would face off. Then it was Lil Sniper vs Ji-hyun Kim, me vs Mine Boo, and the last pair was Gina Kim vs Minji Joo. The last one left was Ha-jeong Lee. Since there were nine of us, there was one left out. Ha-jeong Lee. 27 years old and the former member of a first generation girl group. After the group disbanded, she was down on her feet and entered the competition for a chance to debut again. Honestly, she wasn't really my type. Her body was nice though. 
 "Hmm, now only Ha-jeong is left. Well then, Ha-jeong, you can just join a pair and make it a three-way. Where do you want to go?" Snake asked.
We all looked at Ha-jeong.
 "Hmm..."
After a while, she finally decided on Gina and Minji. 
"I'll join Gina and Minji."
 "Okay, then it will be Gina Kim vs. Minji vs Ha-jeong. The pairs have been selected. We will start the battles next week. You guys get to pick your background music but you have to write the lyrics yourself. And with that, I'll see you guys later!"
At that, we all shared our greetings before we left.

At the pizza restaurant near the dorms.
 "So how did it go?" Jia asked.
I was out on a date with Jia. To think I was on a date with someone as pretty and adorable as her. And I'm allowed to be as affectionate as I want to be. The way Jia keeps clinging to me…is the best thing ever. We even sleep in the same bed sometimes. The only thing is that my body is a girl...so...that goddamn Grim Reaper...wait till I get my hands on him…
 "It went okay."
 "Did you get a chance to talk with Sniper?"
 "Yes, I did," I replied. 
"Wow. Really? How did it go?"
 "She's not that great."
 "Pfft."
Jia laughed at my response. But it's true – I've decided that I'm not a fan. Though the one who came at me was Christine.
 "Did you get a mission or anything like that?" Jia asked. 
It would still be a while before the show came on TV which meant that Jia was already dying of curiosity.
 "Yeah, we're going to have a diss battle."
 "Really? With who?"
 "I'm going against Mine Boo."
 "Oh!" Jia exclaimed. 
"Do you know her?"
 "Yeah. She's big in the clubs. She's known as a fashionista and she has a strong voice. Her rap skills are good as well."
 "Yeah?"
I had no idea. When I met her, she didn't seem very memorable to me. To be honest, I sort of looked down on her. Then again, only those who had proven their skills would be on a show like Un-Position Rapper. 
 "You'll have to practice a lot," Jia said, adorably clenching her fists for emphasis. 
"I should."
Yeah. Since I can't rap, I knew that I was going to have to work twice as hard. 
 "But this pizza is good though."
I rolled up my slice and stuffed it into my mouth, barely chewing it before swallowing. There really was nothing better than a good slice of pizza.

Over the next week, we shot so many commercials. Our debut song hadn't been released yet so we couldn't promote on any shows, but the endorsement bookings alone were filling up our schedules. Of course, this made Jinwoo incredibly happy and kept us super busy as we also had to practice. But I was the busiest, as I also had to practice my rap. 
C-Night was supposed to be my coach but she was so scared of me that she couldn't even teach me properly. Anyways, just like that, it was the eve of the diss battle. Jinwoo called me in for a meeting. 
 "Do you like being on the show?" Jinwoo kept asking me. 
 One of these days, I was really going to shred his balls, but now was not the time, so I refrained myself. I really have gotten nicer since I came to this world. 
 "Would you like it?"
 "Well, I mean…isn't it fun?"
 "Yeah, sure."
I mean, it was. Since it was going to be a diss battle anyway. 
 "That's good."
 "So what is it that you need to talk to me about?" I asked. 
"I heard you're up against Mine Boo."
 "So you know? It's supposed to be confidential though."
