I gather all my strength to attack one of the snakes when the snakes finally broke the rocks made them get inside. The rocks I was stepped on vibrating causing me to trip. And the venomous snakes got inside I look at it in the eyes I was about to get eaten when Hannah flashed water in the left side of the snake causing it to fall and slide over to the other side of the cave. Hannah quickly rushed towards me and hug me tight. I hug her back.
"Thank goodness, I get here before too late." She said.
"Yeah, thank you," I said, I notice the boy who is looking at us. And I told Hannah about him who had an injury on his left leg. We approach the kid and let Hannah heal his injured body.
"Did you saw anyone else aside from you here?" Hannah ask.
"No, all I remember was we were on top of this cave when all of a sudden the land we stepped on vibrates and collapsed. Make us all fall from here." He said.
"Maybe some of you did not survive from that fall," I said.
"So, do you think my younger sister did not survive?" He asks.
"No, that's not what I meant, I mean maybe there is still someone survive from the fall. All we need is to find them" I replied to him quickly I don't want him to think something bad happens to his younger sister. 
"I know, there are no chances she would survive from that fall but I'm not losing hope." He said then look at me straight to my eyes. I brushed his head like an older brother doing that.
"Don't worry, we will find her soon" As soon as I said that Diana called us... She said, she found a girl. I gasped and ask the boy what does her younger sister look like and he describes the last time he saw her.
"She had ponytails, on her head. She wears a pink dress and pink shoes, she has a bag designed like a Barbie. Her hair was black but she is white" He said. I told Diana about it and the girl she found a match.
I told the boy about it and he smiled and glad that we found her. And then he asks about their parents...
"Did they found our parents? My sister is supposed to be with them." Luis said.
"I think, they got separated as soon as all of your fall," I said.
"I hope we can find them." He said.
"Don't worry we will find them. For now, let's meet up with the others and find them" I said.
Hannah and Luis nod at me, and we went to where Hannah heading, we were walking when we spotted Rhea and Evan walking towards us. All of us approached each other and talked if they found someone. They said no, but they haven't reached the dead-end when they decided to go where we are because they thought we need backup. I haven't cleared to them that we were safe... for now. The snakes were still here alive and must be waiting for us to attack us.
We went to where they walked and search for others, and we almost took 1-hour walking when we spotted Diana together with a bunch of people. I ask Luis if he knew those people he shrugs his head saying no.
"All of us were taking a tour when we saw something shinning so all of us went outside of the bus and we tried to look at it at the edge of the hills when this is all happens." One of the people told us. She looks old around the '40s of age and she was with her husband. The bad news is we haven't found his husband. The other man next to the old lady look might be around '50s of age. He looks much older but a little bit arrogant.
"What is happening? How did you find us?" He asks.
"We are here to help you and save all of you," I said.
"I saw a giant snake! We need to get out of here now!" He said shouting at us.
"Please sir, calm down. We are here to protect all of you" Hannah tried to calm him but he was so arrogant.
"I don't need your protection. I need someone to help us get out of here before the snakes eat us!" He said. I sighed, Diana went here beside me and whisper to my ears. "This man is arrogant. When I save him, he saw a venomous snake and he wants to sacrifice the little girl to the snake so all of us survive." What she said makes my eyebrows furrow to him. How dare he sacrifice the little girl? 
"I can see it why," I said whispering to Diana, we were still looking at this arrogant man. 
A minute later Terrence and Sapphire brought someone... A man and a woman. Luis suddenly runs towards them and the little girl approach this man and woman. It seems like they were their parents. I smiled and look at my friends it seems like they were tired.
We shared a piece of bread and we also give the other survivors a bunch of food. 
"Why we still staying here?" The arrogant man asks.
"We were taking a rest sir, and we need to find more people who are trapped here," Evan said.
"What?! Why don't we just leave them? It's dangerous for us to stay here longer when the venomous snakes are around us." He said. I cannot contain any much longer attitude. So I stand up and was about to approach the man when Terrence punch him in the face first and shouted at him "Why don't you just go ahead if you are really wanted to get out so much... Then leave us alone. You should be glad that we found you survive and don't just tell us that we should leave the others because if we never found you, we may say that we also leave you and let those venomous snakes eat you!" Terrence shout at him, make the arrogant sit quietly. I patted Terrence's shoulders, he breathes deeply in anger. I know what he feels and I know that this arrogant man was so scared. But It wasn't right to leave those people who are still here to survive in that fall and hoping someone would save them.
"Sir, with all due respect sir. I know that you were scared, not only you were scared. The people we found, and survive in that fall also scared. Especially now that there are venomous snakes longing inside this cave. But we need to find those people who are still here hoping that someone or anyone searches for them to save them. Our mission was to find more people who survive and wanting to live. I just hope that you would understand us sir" I said but the arrogant look away from me. I sigh it's too hard to make other people understand other's situation but I know we have to be more patient. 
After a minute of a break, all of us together went to one path looking for more survivors. We found almost a few more and when we satisfied and nothing left behind. We decided to make a pathway for us to escape but... We never thought this path would make us in trouble.
The venomous snakes were here waiting for us. And they were so many... My friends, Terrence, Rhea, Evan, Sapphire, Diana, and Hannah fought those snakes. While I, guide all the survivors away from the fight.
I make all the survivors follow me to where are the escape route when one of the snakes blocks our way making us stop. It must be too hard to fight the snake when I remember something that can help me fight them. This is one of my weaknesses as a dreamer slash boogie man. I can dream something good but it can turn into a nightmare and it will last only 5 minutes. So I did everything in my power to protect these people instead of fighting the venomous snake I did imagine the snakes melted, but since the snakes were big it's too hard for me to make this last longer. So I told to all survivors to run as quickly as they can until I can hold this venomous snake longer.
But the kid, Luis's younger sister look scared that she barely not moving... I told her to run! But instead of running, she stuck from moving. Her older brother notices her younger sister so he came back from her. But I don't think I can stay this long when the time finally stops and the venomous snakes were about to attack those kids. I run towards them before the venomous snakes hit them. 
I was about to get hit when Terrence save the day. And he shouted at us "Run! Go!" He said so I guide those kids away from the fight and we made all the survivors got out safely.
Out of breathe I breathe deeply to see if everyone was here and survive. And all the survivors are here but my friends weren't here yet. I look back to the cave and saw that the cave was almost collapsing. I shout at them saying "Guys! Run!"
Until I saw my friends flying and the cave was collapsing the venomous snake is about to reach them but it never makes it, the passageway blocked by the rocks. All of my friends got out safely. I hugged them tightly.

As they reached periphery,they saw scene of almost swarms of snakes lying in victinity of lake .Some were just moving here and there while others were staying still on their place.Watching their unnatural behaviour hinted at something abnormal in Lake .

"what was local myth you were talking about?"Zeph started topic as they were observing lake from top of tree looking for some ideas to move forward.

"Oh that ....Yeah when I arrived at city,I went to all places to sightsee and made many local friends .One of them told me that this valley was one of restricted area for civilians.

According to them ,here once lived Serpent God locally known as Naaga ,he ruled over entire area including Gephyr City .It was said that all snakes here are descended of that God thus particular traits and their large number.Cold winds blew throughout year here because it was domain of Serpent God while know he has left from this area for some reason but legend says he will come back reclaim it's area that will be doomsday for humans living in this area."

"God -hmm.....must be some divine beast then ?"

"Not sure ,well it is just myth .Myth can't be trusted,it even says that Naaga has serpent pearl on its forehead,which grants mysterious power to him . Anyone taking sight of pearl becomes his slave .It can even grant wish...."

"Sh.."
Zeph hushed down Sauren and pointed towards lake "look something is coming out of lake"

Lake surface which was calm till now suddenly had huge waves forming over it .Soon large number of white snakes emerged from Lake and began to move towards other part of Valley.
"Holy sh*t ,it looks like whole tide of snakes are going towards forest."
"Where are they going ?"
"who cares , something is fishy in that lake .I think if that beast dissappeared it must have gone into lake for sure .We should take this opportunity while most of annoying snakes are outside and jump into lake to investigate it."

"Are you idiot, going without any knowledge will be suicide?we should wait for grouping with another warriors then go together."

"But it will be over at that time,who knows where those ones are looking at?Its simple we just ...."Mid sentence Sauren froze as he found that a big large snake coming out of lake .
It was pure white in colour with menacing red eyes ,and surely it was beast with cultivation not simple animal.It moved towards other end of Valley and entered into forest.

"This mission has just gone to another level,we are inside another monster s territory.Its best he went away without noticing us,I don't think we have enough power to handle that one.
So now it means we are looking for atleast heart level monster in another monster who is also'atleast'heart level.great !"Sauren threw his hands off.

"Now we have two options,  injured one is either hiding inside and we can look inside his lair to find him when other Snake is outside or we go back just to inform this info .either way we have to just gather information and deliver it ,we must absolutely not engage.
so Brother which option?"

Zeph raised his eyebrow towards
Sauren waiting for him to answer.


Sauren grinned like fool and jumped straight towards lake.He landed like meteor on the ground which grabbed attention of few remaining snakes which attacked towards him .He immediately formed a shield of blue fire around him which immediately oblierated all incoming snakes.
Zeph smiled and immediately dissappeared from his position.With lightning flash he appeared straight in center of lake and dived head down into lake .
Sauren sweared in his heart seeing such speed ,he finally reached shore and too jumped inside lake .He formed a thin cloak of serpentine raw energy to facilitate movement and protection because his fire energy is reactant to water.

In the Banquet several people were socialising with each other .After introductions ,all guest subconsciously grouped together with same political groups as themselves.
Brynn was also standing with her senior brother but as not native of this nation they were sitting in side table.She was constantly searching for Zeph and Sauren but was unable to locate them.
"Weird ,they must have some else going on?"thought Brynn.

"So Elven are you really not on Miss klearon 's side ,for this council seat for Nation Drake."
Elven smoothly smiled and said "I have always stated that Mercenary corps are always neutral in power struggles"
"No no I'm talking about you ,if you are with us simply Mercenary corporation will be with us .And where are those youngster,they must have freedom to chose on whose side they want to stand on.
Aren't you making their ambition die by forcefully obstructing anyone from Corps to join side."

Other members also chimed in"yes ,yes if someone willingly wants to support some elder , Mercenary corp should not interfere"

Inside lake first thing came into mind of Zeph was "COLD".It was too cold for normal water lake .It was not even freezed .He swam downwards and soon found out that all mysterious cold energy of whole valley is coming from bottom of this lake .He soon found Sauren also coming towards him while shivering noticeably.

"This is freaking too cold !"it was easy to talk and breathe under water with use of serpentine energy.It can form thin skin barrier on skin cells of our bodies which prevents water from going inside our cells or body.Also this energy helps in taking in dissolved oxygen from water into directly to our skin (also lungs )to breathe.

"Let's go at source of light coming from that direction"Zeph pointed at deep point in Lake from where some blue light was spilling out.

Entry 1 
I was outside of the temple of the great serpent, Quetzalcoatl (as nobody calls it these days) . I am one of the twenty Geographic archaeological scientists tasked with finding the mystery of the temple. We are about to head in, as the walls are made of limestone, and are uneven. The Temple Of the Feathered Serpent has been a mystery for too long.. The temple is half collapsed, as if fire or anarchy caused its end or downfall along with the rest of the civilization. We are surrounded by walls of stone, and it seems as one side has fallen down. It is lunchtime, as we are finishing our lunch, we soon shall perspire the mysteries of this temple. 
Entry 2 
We have found no way to enter the  temple, But have found an entrance underground, to what seems as a path. We will explore soon. It has been 2 hours since the  discovery of the  entrance. We have entered it to find long strings of mysterious orbs. We shall research them soon, as their properties are still unknown. We have learned nothing about these orbs, but natives explain they are "spirits" devoured by their god, quetzalcoatl. We have sent some fragments of "souls"  to America, hopefully they will find the meaning. We have entered the  cave. Something is living under there. We become fearful, and uneasy, as we walk through the  long dusty halls of the  cave. We recall hearing whispers in our ears, so quiet, like pleads for help. We have dug up shards of an unknown metal that seems to glow in the  dark. They seem connected to the  lights above us, almost like fragments of them. Our first investigation set us off, making us realize that something bigger had or was happening here. 
Entry 3  - The  encounter
The  natives' tales are becoming more and more believable. They have withhold the  whispers that we hear, the  fright in our hearts, and the  shards of souls. Today we explore deeper into the cave, as expected... as feared….. It has been two days since the  order of the  next step into the investigation. We have yet again entered into the  unknowns of the  cave when we heard something. It was not the whispering of far off voices, but a very real, hissing. Our thoughts went straight so snake, many of us continued walking, but I felt as if It was something else. The  rest found out themselves… The  hissing continued to get louder and louder, so loud that it was no snake. But almost like a horn. We had reached an open area, where a golden snake head lay. We would soon return that to the  natives, or scientists. The  sound of hissing was now overwhelming in here, as If someone was guarding the  head, scaring others away.. We barely made it out alive… snakes… more and more snakes… All there was was snakes… covering the  ground, climbing on the  walls… poisonous snakes. We had all had our share of animal frights. But nothing compared to walking on silver rattle snakes. I am still not sure how we had made it out alive, as if the  person purposely let us live, intending us to come back so It could have its fun.

Entry 4 
It was difficult to sleep. As if the  cave was coming into our tents, into our food, into our hearts. Fear soon overwhelmed us and many left, favoring a hard life instead of  fear. But I bravely stood, where this was just an illusion, a plot to keep others away, and I intended to go back. It is the  sixth day since all the  scientists left. I have been pre

The beginning of the new journey part 2
It is an area where most of the poisonous snakes can be found roaming around without any sense of identity. Mostly snakes lie in the bushes or is in cracks between rocks , or above some trees dangling around. Here it slithers around like animal roaming around in the wild. like having its own pub wriggling its tail and moving its tongue in and out.
The whispering sound can make one adult man nervous, a coward to pee his pants, a woman to shriek and a child to cry. It is not a gloomy atmosphere just an un usual atmosphere.
Killing the snakes would not alert the leader around as it within its capable range not to alert, private skirmishes within these animal are enough to eliminate them by half, although these are the area of peak of silver level it does not mean they will care about some petty human. 
Killing the snakes are very easy for people above level 4 of bronze rank, as for below it is not so easy, especially in this situation, as for sword blade it is very difficult to do it alone , so here comes the team which helps to solve most of the problem and the rest are for sword blade problem. 
The worst is not the snake but the mosquitoes, it is very good news that army men prepared mosquito repellant for it, and the mercenaries did not even remembered the most important thing. It would be almost most dangerous if not for the army men carrying it around.

Those slimes through generation of evolution further evolved , not though outwardly appearance but the simple fact that it has more sensitivity to vibration , from evolution of countless generation the normal ones  up to level 4 of bronze level slimes have sensitivity range of fifty meter which have a tight fielding shield. Though modern machinery killing dozen of slime is killing as a paper tiger , what if there is a leader among them , what if they can airlessly form a clan , what if they have already formed battle attics, they are no what if, if they cannot be formed, and yes they can form their own tribe, though survival of its fittest these pumpkin race has strengthened its own kin from generation to generation is not wrong way to say , they can survive with ought number dwindling without artificial causes is already a miracle.

Fighting slime is not very dangerous process while most it looks very dangerous indeed it can at least be normal.
Slime have liquid body which have not changed till now, so the elements like water which is changed into ice can freeze its body so that it can go near death state or a fire element which can burn to  ash, is considered its natural enemy , the most important thing about is however is its nucleus, though blasting it would kill it, or removing it from the body would make it near death still  it is probably not so weak, from its primordial evolution till now it has always rigorously protected its core and through its rigorous evolution its core is its hardest part, though it would have its variant mostly they are the same, the core is harder than a turtle shell  and piercing is harder than freezing it.
The already prepared army me had prepared the best possible bane for its existence, the mana core reactor, which is basically a box which resonates at a particular wavelength of the particular slime in this particular area , the vibration cannot kill it though it can immobilize it, though particularly the same result.
Sword blade and his party members along with the rest of the member moved along the muddy road, crossing the snakes though tough work without any   major injuries.
Muddy region specifically do not have any special problem, the only problem is that it disturbs the mobility. the journey did not even start and the slimes started attacking, the army men simply started the core box, and those slime were temporally mobilized, though they have some varieties it seem though the arm men have prepared have about five of the core boxes, and the ton of slime have been cleared just like that, without any problem.
The slimes which were mobilized were taken care of sword blade and the others while the immobilized one have their core taken by the one, who would have it.
Not aware inside of sword blade mind THE PATH FINDER SYSTEM has already stopped at 99%.

"Are you sure that's going to work?" Mo Fan asked, feeling very surprised.
"Yes, these doors might be complicated, but they do have certain loopholes. The ancients were impressively intelligent, but that doesn't necessarily mean us modern people have no brains, right? The most important thing is understanding their sequence and rules," Shreev answered. He sounded completely like an academic.
"So it's also reasonable why you are so ugly, Shreev! Most ugly people are pretty smart!" Zhao Manyan exclaimed.
"What do you mean by that? Are you telling me you are a retard?" Shreev grunted back.
"Thanks for describing how handsome I am!" Zhao Manyan agreed shamelessly. His mood had greatly improved after hearing there was another way to enter the right chamber.
"Let's continue to the next chamber," Shreev said.
"Is resting a little longer going to kill you?" Mo Fan said.
"Uh, is that strange? Weren't you the one that was urging us to keep going previously?" Shreev replied, confused.
The group might be unharmed, but the psychological impact that the Scorpion Lord Medusa had delivered was pretty serious. They had to get their hearts back to normal and exercise their limbs, so they could get rid of the residual effects of the Petrify Magic.

The group finally gathered the courage to keep going after resting in the passage. The next chamber was most likely related to snakes again...
They had come up with a plan. They would quickly look around the chamber. If they sensed something was not right, they would immediately return to the passage. Even though they would no longer return to the chamber of the Scorpion Lord Medusa by going back along the same passage, they could still follow Shreev's instructions and avoid the chambers with guardians that were too strong for them to take on, now that he had deduced the sequence of the chambers!
The passage soon came to an end, the chamber eventually showing up. Everyone immediately focused as soon as they stepped into the chamber. Their fear of Scorpion Lord Medusa had yet to fully dissipate. They were only hoping that the creature in the chamber was no scarier than the Scorpion Lord Medusa so their hearts could still endure the shock. 
"That's strange… all the doors in this chamber are open!" Shreev blurted out. 
The chamber was huge. Shreev's voice echoed a few times back and forth. Most importantly, apart from the ancient drawings along the walls, the ground, and the ceiling, there was no sarcophagus, which meant the chamber did not have a guardian! 
"There are a lot of traces left by scorpions and snakes..." Heidi pointed out.
"An empty chamber?" Mo Fan was quite surprised.
He scanned the huge chamber intently, but did not find a single creature in it. The whole place was covered in paintings on the walls and on the ground. It had statues of scorpions and pillars of snakes, too. It felt like they had just entered an ancient palace that existed in a myth related to the snakes and scorpions. 
The drawings and the statues were lifeless, Mo Fan was sure. There was no sign of life in any corner of the chamber!
"I understand now!" Shreev suddenly yelled.
"I can understand them too." Mo Fan looked at the drawings around him.
The drawings were not painted onto the walls or the ground, but were engraved, drawn with solid lines, holes, scorpion shells, and snake scales. Mo Fan could not help but wonder how much money and manpower the ancient Pharaohs had spent on this...
"Tell me what you think!" Shreev said promptly.
"The scorpions and the snakes are from the same species, thus the chamber with the scorpion symbol and the chamber with the snake symbol both belong to the Scorpion Lord Medusa. However, this chamber isn't designed for a mummy, it's more to record some ancient rituals, myths, and history. I know a legend about the Medusa around here. The first Medusa was actually human. She was most likely the first person to Awaken the Curse Element and the Psychic Element. However, those Elements were once deemed forbidden or evil. In the end, the humans offered her to the primordial ancestor of the scorpions and snakes as a sacrifice, but to their surprise, it did not kill her. Instead, it slowly combined with her and gave birth to the Medusae and the Gorgons. The Medusae have the Curse Magic and Petrify Magic, while the Gorgons have incredible strength and physical attributes..." Mo Fan explained what the drawings along the walls were depicting
Shreev looked at Mo Fan and raised his thumb. He said, "You can actually understand the hieroglyphs of the ancient civilization. It seems like you have spent quite some time on them!"
"We have been investigating the Totem Beasts. These hieroglyphs are similar to the ones left by our ancestors during the era of the Totem Beasts. Your Pharaohs overthrew the ancient beasts and became rulers themselves. When our Totem Beasts went extinct, we also gradually relied more on magic, up until today," Mo Fan confirmed.
Mo Fan did not mention that he had read records of the Egyptian myths at the Parthenon Temple. The ancient civilizations in Greece and Egypt were closely tied together. "The drawings also indicate that the undead have formed an alliance with the scorpions and the snakes, allowing them to move freely in the Pyramids... HAHA, isn't this the same as telling a story from some pictures!?" Zhao Manyan burst out laughing, pointing at one of the drawings.
Mo Fan took a quick glance at the drawing and interpreted it the same way as Zhao Manyan. It was showing how Khufu had formed an alliance with Medusa, the highest ruler of the snakes and scorpions… ahem!
"Why are we wasting our time here? Shouldn't we just move on to the next chamber and leave this place if there's no one guarding this chamber?" Sayed demanded impatiently.
"Wait, there are a lot of mysteries that we haven't solved on these drawings! For example, the place where the Snake Scorpion Primordial Ancestor and Medusa stayed at. Give me some time, I need to learn more about those temples!" Shreev answered hurriedly.
The drawings indicated that Khufu had not built only the Pyramids, but also the evil temples for the Snake Scorpion Primordial Ancestor and Medusa! They were hidden in the deserts in Egypt... 
"Humph, what difference is it going to make? It's not like the evil temples are going to give us the power to kill the detestable Snake Scorpion Primordial Ancestor and Medusa!" Sayed mocked him.
"Sayed, how stupid can you be? If the Snake Scorpion Horde decides to attack us one day, or when only us humans or the demon creatures can live in Egypt, how can we possibly take them out if we don't even know where their rulers are!?" Meos scolded him.
"Fine, I'm the stupid one!" Sayed did not talk any further.
"What are the evil temples for?" Mu Bai asked, confused about their importance.
"Egypt is known for two special things: the undead, and the snakes and scorpions! The snakes and scorpions are the demon creatures. They can move freely without the deathlight, which means the threat they pose to the cities is no less than the undead. However, the nests of these demon creatures aren't deserts or caves, it's the evil temples! 
"We've already explained the origin of these temples. Many people know about their existence, but only a handful of them have been found so far. No one has found the evil temple that the Snake Scorpion Primordial Ancestor and Medusa live in. These evil temples were built by the Pharaohs, so only the Pyramids will have records on where the temples are built. On top of that, the evil temple that the Great Pyramid of Giza has records on is most likely the one that Medusa lives in..." Mo Fan explained to him.
"I see. So if we found the evil temples and destroyed them all, the snakes and scorpions would no longer bother us?" Mu Bai said.
"More or less, but I'm afraid it's unlikely that the army is strong enough to raze the evil temples to the ground. We can find out where the temples are first. It's not too late to deal with them later, once we have grown strong enough. Shreev is doing his country a huge favor!" Mo Fan said.
While Shreev was recording the drawings, Mo Fan took a closer look around since he was bored. The chamber was surprisingly huge, with lots of drawings all over the place. They contained a huge amount of information. It was rather confusing to look at them without knowing the background to the stories. 
Mo Fan ignored the drawings that he had no clue about. He focused on the drawings that he could understand.
"Mo Fan, there's a drawing here. The snakes are eating humans... I think they are eating little girls..." Heidi said timidly, pulling Mo Fan's sleeve while pointing at a drawing.
The drawing alone was just an abstraction, but it was totally different when they recalled Apas mentioning how the little girls were eaten alive by the higher-level Gorgons and Medusae. 
Mo Fan glanced at the drawing and let out a sigh.
"What does the second half mean?" Heidi asked.
"Perhaps it's saying how the Medusae can keep their youthful looks by eating the little girls?" Mo Fan guessed.
Mo Fan remembered how the young Medusa began to look like Apas after swallowing her alive. It was likely that the young Medusa would have claimed Apas' looks after it fully digested her. It was quite terrifying now that he thought about it.
"What about the part after it?" Heidi asked.
"Well… I don't really understand it, I'm not a professional," Mo Fan said.
Shreev had finished recording the information he needed while the two were conversing. He came over with the smile of a reputable person whose discovery was going to benefit the whole of mankind. His smile had almost a sacred brilliance to it! 
"You can smile after we make it out of this place alive," Mo Fan poured some cold water on him.
"Oh, you're right." Shreev's brilliance dimmed significantly. It was true that the information he collected was only useful if he could make it out alive...

Lizzy walked back into the forest after screaming, unbeknownst to her that a drone that was scouting the island and looking for the snakes had caught her on video, the people operating the drones were baffled on what she was.

"Mr.chu we seem to have found an anomalous creature within the island"

"Oh really? what haven't you put it on the big screen you dumb bastard"

"Right away sir"

The building Mr.chu was in had a large screen set up for him to watch the contestants and find anomalies, on the screen were 8 windows focused on the contestants, originally there were only 5 but 3 extra people offered to pay in order to join the manhunt, all three were from the Eagle empire, Mr.chu couldn't refuse.

The original 5 were sent by the countries that sent a number of death row inmates, the number of inmates was numerous but for the hobby hunt Mr.chu was currently shooting he had released 15 inmates with promises that they will be freed if they survived the island for 2 weeks.

The screens of the contestants shrunk to the corners and in their place was a large screen of a creature with the back features of an alligator.

"Is that an alligator or a crocodile?"

"Sir we have looked through the database and there are no existing data on the creature, the closest match is a common house lizard but it was said be 3-6 ft long, this creature is approximately 13-15 ft long"

"Save the footage and contact the biologists and scientists of every country, offer them the footage and coordinates of the island for a price"

Lizzy has found snake trails on the ground and from the size it was a bit smaller than her, she was now filled with determination to hunt the snake.

The operator of the drone that was following lizzy was baffled on what this strange creature wanted to do, they just let the drone hover in place and was able to see one the snakes they released, it was a 1.5 meter long brown snake and on the footage it was slowly unfurling its body that was curled on a branch to reach for the creature.

Lizzy was baffled as to where the snake was until she heard a loud hiss, it seemed to be above her and she decided to look up, she was surprised that the snake was above her and she used her tail to whip the snakes away, the snake flew to the side and shook its head as it curled ready to pounce unto her.

The snake stared lizzy for a few seconds before springing towards Lizzy, the wide open maw of the snake revealed that it had fangs on the back of it mouth, Lizzy charged at the snake with her eyes fixed on the flying snake, she made sure that it would hit her now tough face so she could bite the neck.

The employees took a break and were replaced by other employees, the hunters on screen had not found any inmates yet but they had found their tracks, but that was not what the employees on break were watching.

The employees were watching the creature and the snake battle it out and a personnel was even narrating the show as if they were a certain famous biologist.

I was kind to those who were kind and was even kind to those who were not but I also have my limits, they have broken that limit and now it's time for them to pay their dues, with the systems help I can finally have a bit of hope to exact vengeance.

After Laura's statement, Rebecca can finally conclude that Luke was somehow following Laura in the past. Precisely, he was that someone that Laura feels watching over her numerous times. Interesting!
Laura looked at her companion. "If Luke died five years ago, then who is the one whom I had shared intimate moments with last month before I came here?" she asked.
Rebecca sighed. "If Luke suddenly resurrected after he died then, you are making love to a real person..." she replied.
"What do you mean?" Laura asked in confusion.
"I have a feeling that Luke makes love to you in his spirit form and uses his twin brother's body to make his fantasy a reality," Rebecca made her conclusion.
Laura's eyes widened in shock. Huh? Did she make love to Graven himself? That would be absurd. But Rebecca's theory has a touch of reality to it. Now that they are on this topic, she finds it awkward when Graven's fiancee was talking about such a sensitive topic with her. They were discussing her fiancee making love to her, yet she didn't even see an ounce of anger or jealousy in Rebecca's eyes. She was amazed by the woman's strange attitude towards Graven.
She tried to swallow the lump in her throat. There was a strong need for her to change this awkward topic. "Hmm, Rebecca. I'm sorry if that is the case. I have no intention to grab Graven's attention or take him away from you," she apologized and defended herself.
A smile appeared on Rebecca's lips. "Hey, no need to feel the shame of what happened between you and Graven. You were both tricked by Luke's spirit. Besides I'm not the possessive and jealous type of girlfriend," she assured her.
Laura felt a little bit better after hearing Rebecca's assurance. She found her understanding and open-mindedness refreshing and out of this world.
Rebecca looked at Laura's face closely. What if Luke's spirit was lurking somewhere that a naked eye can't even see? He must be following Laura everywhere. She might as well ask her the next question. "Is there any mysterious happenings in your life lately?" she inquired.
Laura's brows snapped together. Then her face blanched fearing where their conversation would lead to. She analyzed Rebecca's sincerity. So far the woman has been generously supplying her information about Luke, she feels that she can trust her.
"Rebecca, I have to be completely honest with you. Something weird and frightening happened to me lately," she confessed.
"What is it?" Rebecca rose to her feet and sat on the edge of the bed beside Laura. "Tell me everything. Don't worry, you can trust me with your secret," she urged her, trying to gain her trust.
Laura sighed. "There is an entity that is bothering me, he can take shapes or copy a human form. I think he is a spirit dwelling in the mirror. He copied Luke's appearance many times. He left me a single stem of rose a few times in my room. Sometimes he will leave it on my pillow or above the dresser table. Due to fear, I never told anyone about this strange and scary phenomenon, not even my family. To prevent him from disturbing me, I ended up covering all the mirrors in my room so that he can't pester me anymore," she explained.
Rebecca's eyes widened with Laura's revelation.
Laura smiled at Rebecca. "Good thing this room has no dresser table with mirror," she added. "If you noticed the covered mirror in my room - that's the reason why," she said.
Rebecca was quiet while listening to Laura's revelation. "You mentioned of a shapeshifter spirit? Is that what you think inhabiting the mirror in your bedroom?"
"Yea, does the spirit of that kind exist in this world?" Laura asked.
Rebecca nods her head. "Yes. There are being that exist in this world like me demons, vampires, and many more," she admitted.
Laura doesn't want to put her companion in a tight spot. But she was suspicious of that grave in the woods. "Are you sure that the tomb that we had seen in the middle of the clearing in the woods is Luke's grave? Why do I have a feeling that you are lying to me? Are you telling the truth or just making things up? Did Graven told you to lie to me and hide the truth?" she asked her.
Rebecca released a deep sigh and squeezed her eyes shut for a few seconds. When she opened her eyes, she's ready, to tell the truth. She shrugged. "Well, it seemed it's hard to lie to you. The truth is the tomb you see in the woods in the old cemetery is intended for Luke. But on the day he died, he asked his brother to bring his coffin to a cave instead," she said.
Laura lifted an eyebrow. "What cave? Where is that cave located? And why would Luke insist that his coffin be brought there? What's special about that cave?" she bombarded her with questions.
Rebecca smiled a bit. "Here we are again. You are getting excited, you dumped so many questions on my head again. Can you take it slow?" she said.
"Okay, I'm sorry. I'm carried away. Let's start with my first question. Where is the cave located?" Laura asked.
"It's located a thousand miles from the hut where the human couple raised the twin brothers."
"What's special in that cave?"
"Luke stumbled on it when he was hiding and stayed there for years. He thought the vampire who chased after him already found his brother and killed him. That cave becomes his refuge," answered Rebecca.
"What's so special about that cave?"
"There was a cold spring in that cave. Luke loves to bath in that spring."
"I see...does Graven knew the existence of that cave?"
Rebecca shook her head. "No. Only Luke knew about the existence of that cave. Before he died, he was able to draw a clear sketch of how to find the cave. When we brought his body to the cave, that was the first time Graven and I saw the interior of the cave."
"So...did you bury his body beneath the ground of the cave?" asked Laura.
"No. Luke has specific instruction - he wants the coffin to be placed in the water itself. He wants to be surrounded by the spring water."
Laura's eyes widened in bewilderment. "Huh? But why?"

Just pretend that you knew nothing of his death. If you can keep your mouth shut then I'm willing to tell you the truth," she said.
"Of course, I swear that everything you told me today won't reach Graven's ears. I'll carry our secret to my grave. I don't want Graven to get mad at you," she said and made an oath in front of her.
Rebecca was satisfied with the sincerity she saw in Laura's eyes. "Alright, since you were able to convince me with your sincerity then I'll tell you the truth now. Luke didn't die five years ago. He died last year. His first death anniversary will be next month," she revealed.
Laura gaped. So, Luke died recently, not five years ago?
"Five years ago or just last year doesn't matter. The truth is - Luke is gone," Rebecca said.
Laura breathed deeply. The woman's statement penetrated her heart painfully. Indeed, Luke is already a dead man. "You are right..." she finally said. "Although my heart finally accepted that he already died, I still want to see his coffin one last time," she declared.
Rebecca snorted. "What is there to see inside his coffin? His flesh must have been decayed by now, there is nothing there to see but a skeleton," she said.
"I just want to see his coffin. We don't need to open the casket," Laura suggested.

Rebecca sighed. "No other way, unless you can convince Graven to bring you with him when he is going to visit the cave. But I warned you, he doesn't know that I told you the truth now," she said.
The truth is, she knew a way how to enter the cave without worrying about the snakes. She found an alchemist who concocted a potion oil, once a person rubbed it all over his body parts the snakes will stay away and hide. The snakes dislike the smell of the oil so much. Graven already purchase a few bottles of it and they used it effectively when they come to visit the cave, six months ago.
On the downside, the oil's effectiveness will only last for fifteen minutes max once exposed to the air. So one needs to keep rubbing the oil all over the body so that the snakes won't launch a frenzied attack on anyone who invades the cave, which is kind of cumbersome.
"How did Luke survives hiding in the cave for a long time surrounded by those poisonous snakes?" Laura inquired, feeling confused.
"Luke didn't mention the snake before. I guess the snakes migrated into the cave during those times when Luke already left the cave and begin his wandering. That's just my theory," Rebecca answered.

Laura died when she was a baby. Out of desperation, her parents agreed on a deal with the mysterious couple to bring her back to life. Her family left their village and hide in a far away place... with no intention of honoring the deal.

Twenty years later.

Mysterious black hooded cape men descended into their mansion. They hurt her father and abducted her sister, claiming that they're fulfilling the deal that took place a long time ago. Her sister can only be returned to her family ten days later, in one condition, she won't leave their town.

To protect Laura, her father entered another deal to marry her to the most notorious womanizing bachelor in the next town. And they gained a public's attention due to the assassination of the retired war general… Mr.Cooper… who is feared among the country… but they carried out their task in front of the public. … when Mr.Cooper was campaigning for the elections and in that public, no one ever found the man who killed him. After that incident, the press revealed the video of that genocide. Now let us look into that video…

Date: April 13, 2039 morning 11: 0o am…
It was a pleasant day and the weather is perfectly alright..and the clouds are as beautiful as ever... and it was a great day for campaigning… there came a range rover from the sunroof a man was standing… who is guarded by four bodyguards…from all the four directions…in four different vehicles…armed heavily… with
"M4A1" rifle. And the public is shouting and booing their new ruler's name. 

The elections were held suddenly because the military took over the government by executing the higher officials of the country  and the campaign is going on like this…where a huge crowd is gathered… as we know that the military head will be positioned to govern the country but the misunderstandings in the military-led to these elections…

 The general's car was surrounded by the army people… in heavy trucks… It reminded the people and gave them an idea about how the king used to go around the town in the olden days to look at his people. But none of the people are happy due to the dilemma of not deciding what is correct for them. They looked like they are worrying  about their future. 

The vehicle reached the ground where the generals and lieutenants are gathered in one place and the lieutenants are sitting beside their respective ward generals…and so on to discuss the
future of the country. All the generals made a salute to Mr.Cooper, and the whole situation was being telecasted on the news channel. As this was the important news going on in this country. 

So the speech went on like this "Finally the peace is returned to the righteous hands. The previous government is nothing but trash who never knew anything how the people think and they only cared about themselves and the rich people. I "General. Cooper" will- 

While the speech is going on  smoothly suddenly lieutenant. Benjamin and lieutenant Cooper.Jr started banging on the desk by seeing this the council was shocked and the board members who are present there are looking shockingly at those two and they are wondering why those two are banging the desk at the same time and imitating the same tone.
They suddenly shouted, "the peace has returned"  at the same time
Are you out of your mind…lieutenant…said, General.Cooper…they banged the bench like this…with a flow…just like a "Morse code" and it was understood by the military after some time since they use that in communication. but the timing was slow and the lieutenants are succeeded in sending the message. They sent the message to someone…somewhere nearby on the screen, they saw a message like this… 
" ._ _ _ ._ _._. _._" which is decoded as "A T T A C K"…Then the scene shifts towards the room where all the generals and lieutenants are present…. Are you out of your mind Lieutenant, said General? The Lieutenant kept quiet…but continued banging the desk. 
The general orders one of his soldiers to take him out.
As soon as the security raises his hand the soldier's hand was cut down by Lieutenant.Cooper.Jr by seeing this the governors and lieutenants are shocked in that very second  the lieutenants who sat beside every general started slitting the necks of the generals and by seeing this the whole crowd who were shouting stopped at once and the whole area was so calm and they were in shock. 

The police who were guarding the door tried to open the door. But by seeing this suddenly the lieutenants threw M4A1 rifles to the police who were guarding the door, the police who were there to protect the officials started firing on their fellow men who were there as security and to control the crowd and this whole situation there  happened in the span of 2minutes….

To their surprise all the ammo which was filled in the truck was empty on the other hand the police only carried handguns… this was a perfect plan to executed by someone to take on the whole government officials and show their power.

Then Lieutenant. Benjamin slowly got up from his chair… adjusted his tie removed his cap and placed it on the desk and started walking towards General.Cooper.
 What is happening here Benjamin. Are you betraying us? asked General. To that question Benjamin replied, "Betraying you - you are the one who betrayed the god and God of justice"  He points his gun towards the God of justice and asks, "Are you watching her colone? she is not blind. She is the godess who sent me to bring justice upon you. I don't accept people who cross their limits or rules set by the world. I hereby deliberately declare your death by slitting every nerve in your body. He throws the gun and removes his pocket knife and moves towards General. Cooper. 

I will show you the same hell which you showed to the innocents in those days while you were in power.
Then Cooper.Jr expands General hands. 
With tears  in his eyes General. Cooper says, I am your father please have mercy. 

To that Cooper.Jr replied,  "Those innocent people who you killed also pleaded for their life like this did you show any mercy on them, no you never cared about those people. So why should you deserve that mercy." By saying these  he cut off the arms of General Cooper.  The shouting of General.cooper was the only voice-hearing in all directions… General. Cooper started begging for his life, "son please spare me" . Tell him to stop!!!! I beg you! people. 

Please… stop this nonsense
Do you think I will spare you General. Like I said this is your "Judgement Day"  for the crimes you committed, said Lt.Benjamin.
And to make  sure I am not Benjamin, Cooper.  Now die with this regret of not knowing the person who killed you. He may be your son or may not be! But I can guarantee you that he will be welcoming you in the hell. Who are you? Who are you? shouted Cooper. In that instant bullets were lodged into his body by "Cooper. Jr".

Is this how my life was going to end were General. Cooper's last words.

The whole blood of the generals is flowing from the door just like the water which flows in the river as if there is no end to it. The whole people were silent throughout that situation. And these were the words that are heard by every single person in that place due to the mic which was dropped by the General.

The statement was stated like this, "We are the snakes and the mission is accomplished". His face was recorded while saying these statements. Then the doors were opened.

 After 15min the police reached the place. 
During those 15 mins, everyone from that door came out wearing weird masks. And shot the police who were on the brink of death and they started running into the public.

By seeing those hunters rushing towards them the people started making havoc due to fear and commotion has started this became an advantage to the assassins. And they started running into the public and this was a major commotion.
 The mass genocide that took place in front of the crowd. After a few days, the person who spoke to the general after killing him was identified as "Lawrence" the person who was killed in hands of "General. Cooper" a few months ago and the whole gang of lieutenants who slaughtered the generals are found dead in the base itself… and their postmortem reports confirmed that they were dead before this incident.  That means they were killed on the previous night before the meeting itself.

And the people who looked like generals were never found and the son of General. Cooper was found dead at his house and his postmortem has also confirmed the same news that he has been dead several hours before the meeting that is on the previous night itself. And the people who called themselves as "Snakes" just entered as Snakes that is silently and they left from that place just like snakes. 

As if they just shed their skins and vanished from this world.  That is with leaving their skin behind but not enough to find  whose skin it is.
After this incident, no one tried to talk about it. Nor the police got any leads regarding this case. The new government was formed and it didn't respond to this incident. They just pretended as if it was never happened, but in the people's heart, it remained just like a mystery, and from that, they believed that they(Snakes) were invincible.
