We all turned to the direction of the voice and saw my Celestial Maiden sisters; Skye and Victoria.
"Mom!" Xander called out and ran to his mother.
"That monster is a being that will devour everything." Skye added. "It is the nemesis of the Creator; one who brings about the destruction of his creations."
"So, the world will really end?" Seth asked in a nervous manner. 
Everyone held expressions of shock and fear.
"If the self-destruct system won't be activated, there's only one way for a world to meet its end; to be devoured by that thing." Skye answered. "But… this world is not destined to end. At least not yet."

"She said it won't be until three hundred years." I said.
"Exactly. So, the world is not destined to end today. Hauria still have to exist for things to continue its path."
"As Liu Fen said, the world is not supposed to end today. So, we have a chance to chase him out." Skye said and pointed to the swirling of black clouds which started roaring and producing lightning.
"Not destroy it?" Kai asked.
"No. We cannot destroy him. Like the Creator, he is destined to exist and has been around since the beginning of the cosmos."
"So you're saying, if our world is destined to be destroyed by that thing, End, there's no escape?"

True to his words the face made of black clouds was starting to descend to the ground. It was slow in doing so, but I had a bad feeling at such actions.

"What do you mean Blake?" I asked.
"Artemis, if that face reaches the earth, it will devour the very life the world itself." he answered and he started breaking cold out in sweats.
"The Historian is right." said an unexpected person, a high-ranking member of the Sect. "Our Master have, I mean, had always been interested in the topic of End. He researched many folklores, legends and myths about its existence. What he said corresponds to our Master's research."

Both hands dropped a piece of their own blood which then formed a humanoid body. One being a mass of light and the other being a mass of dsrkness.

These humanoid shape mass of energy simply wandered around aimlessly across the world.

That is, until the two met each other.

The moment the two came across each other, they intantly charged and threw punches. The world once again shook as countries collapse while the lands of each, sink down the seas.

After years of battle; the two realized that their fight alone is meaningless. The two has the body of a god but not the strength of one.

In the end, they couldn't deal enough damage which results to having no true victor emerge.

As the two deities wonder what they should do, their creator, the God appeared.

God decided to change the rules of the game. 

Rather than playing the game all by themselves, God decided to allow the two to pick others to their side. It is so that a true victor could emerge, at least that is what God hoped for.

The two followed the God's instructions and quickly went out to choose their own subordinate.

A few manage to survive to see the world's end and those are what the two deities are looking for; survivors.

A few hours pass and two passed on their chosen ones. Some of them died while the two roam the world which caused the two to be concern.

But the hero just block his magic then strikes back. Using the holy sword he tried to slash the demon king into half but demon king was not that easy to be killed. 

The demon king used his demonic sword to block the slash of the hero but the difference  of their swords was that great.

Everything became prosperous again and after a couple thousand years more, the historical battle that brought extinction and destruction slowly lead to becoming a legend until it eventually became forgotten by the rest of the world.

While the current inhabitants of the world remained unconscious of his existence, the Evil God remained secluded and surreptitiously bade time in unsealing the formation that had been cast on him as he started to slowly gather followers again that would serve as his sword and shield that would realize his plan.

Lin Feng expended almost 2 year's worth of time in finishing this exhausting and almost impossible quest that lead him in wasting most his time in the real world. 'It will finally end here... Hopefully.'

When his sense of sight got a clear view, he was at the dark citadel where he saved his spawn point. After preparing for a bit, he swiftly got to the location of the last boss he was about to face.

Actually, he already faced this boss for who knows how many times already and always end up being killed. He always lamented everytime this happened because each time he was killed, a whole level would be deducted to his character. He would struggle again to raise his level for a week before challenging this boss again.

It is extremely tricky to fight him as he was almost perfect in all aspects. Regarding techniques, fighting style and even had an almost inexhaustible amount of magic power. He had precisely calculative moves that hindered Lin Feng's character, Melancholic Soul, which was already at the pinnacle of his class, a Heavenly Sword Saint to achieve victory in every battle they had.

After countless fights, he eventually adapted to every move the Evil God had and even adopted his battle style that made him fare for a longer time before ultimately being killed.

He continued to battle this monstrosity, for countless times until he finally tied a draw. With the new found experience, Lin Feng made progress to his fighting style by leaps and bounds because of it. This time, he prepared himself for a week of training before finally facing that monster again. He knew that at this moment, he will not miss this shot again and will surely end him for good.

As he arrived where the Evil God dwelled. He glanced at this familiarly odd scenery with a serene expression. If there were other players around the vicinity, then they would gasp in astonishment upon witnessing this beholding sight in front of them.

This place was located at the peak that was recognized as the tallest mountain of the Eternal World. It located further to the north. What was odd was that if you just looked at the mountain in the sky, then you could figure out that it unexpectedly had a triangular shape. Coincidentally, it was actually named Bermuda Mountain.

At the peak of the mountain, Lin Feng gazed at the small slit in the space. Inside it, only pitch darkness could be seen which oozed with coldness. He gently walked towards it as it also in return, opened wider as if it is welcoming his arrival.

As he passed through it, he could feel the coldness and vast killing intent that directly pervaded allover his body. Back when he first entered this unknown place, his body involuntarily shivered and felt a huge pressure that descended towards his body as if flattening his entire existence. But now, it only felt a great breeze that swept allover his body. He even felt comfortable being enveloped by it.

His eyes sharpened as his fighting intent surged like a storm, equaling the pressure of the only being inside this space was emitting. As he was about to step forward and thought of greeting his opponent first, he hurriedly dodged to the side as a huge wave of torrential powerful magic passed through from his earlier position.

Lin Feng smirked at this kind of situation. 'It seems like he could somehow feel the difference in my strength from what it was a week ago.' He continued to dodge while his thoughts ran in overdrive as he interchanged between attacking and defending, sending several huge sword lights towards the Evil God.

The battle of wits of equivalent power continued for almost 3 days and 3 nights, until it eventually lead to a battle of attrition. Schemes after schemes of unpredictable trajectories of powerful chaotic magics and sharp sword auras clashed as it intertwined together which made the surrounding space to collapse and retract for countless times already.

When the cataclysmic battle finally reached a crucial time when their Life and Death are about to be decided. Both of them already had multiple unrecoverable wounds allover their bodies as the Evil God, who had been exhausted for already a long period of time struggled to sharpen his senses to his peak condition, and it was also what Lin Feng did.

The two of them perceptively felt it and knew that the time has come for them to end this fight and hurriedly deployed their most powerful skill in their arsenal. Only one of them would remain clinging to dear life after this one ultimate move.

The Evil God devoured all the nearby Chaotic Mana in the space as he fiercely shouted towards his opponent. "You insignificant half transcendent immortal! All you do is to hinder each of my plans. I'll kill you no matter how many times it takes! Countless thick bolts of lightning surged allover his body as it concentrated to his sword that looked like a dancing dragon that was coiling around his body in which illuminated the entire space as he unleashed it all towards the Evil God.

As the two ultimate annihilation power that broke the balance of the world, everything were illuminated with a dazzling rainbow of lights as all the emotional representation of colors intertwined together.

The the rest of the world witnessed this breath taking battle whether it be virtual world or the real one that is currently announced and launched by the Game System AI, Prometheus.

When the resulting calamitous power receded, the legendary battle finally ended. The Bermuda Mountain's original triangular shape was wiped clean and only remained almost 3/4 of the original appearance. Everything at the peak disappeared without anyone knowing what resulted in that epic battle.
