"OH MY GOD!" I immediately hold on to my chest before my heart even went jumping out of it because I am too startled by Emma's scream.
"What the hell!?" 
I pushed my door open and turn on the lights and found Emma sitting on my bed
The thing about friends is that they do unjustifiable idiocy right in front of you and they are not even bothered. And the idiocy of this girl is solely being so insensitive about my privacy and my heart condition. Wait I don't have any heart problem just to be clear.
"Okay okay I'm okay." She said jumping off my bed and walk to me and hold my shoulders and started shaking me.
"What. Is. Your. Problem?" I remove her hands, put down my bag and walk to my closet to find clean clothes. She settled back on my bed and lifting a magazine. 
"I am going to change, do you mind?"
"So?" She said without looking at me and turning pages of her magazine and I'm pretty sure she's not reading a thing. 
"What is it?" I asked and turn to her
"What?"
"Don't what me. Why are you here and screaming 'oh my god' on my face?"
"Technically I did not scream at your face. And am I not allowed here anymore?"
"You are still allowed here but you are not allowed to scream at this late. Don't you know you're 5 miles away from home?"
"How far is that?" she asked giving me that idiotic facial expression she mastered back at school of sarcasm.
I'm losing my temper at this girl so I sit beside her on my bed and hold her hands and pretend that I'm praying for her soul. But I am actually praying for the earth to open up and swallow her whole. I opened my eyes and she is looking at me like I'm some kind of retarded talking tarsier. I let go of her hands and lock her neck in my arms. She struggled but I am not letting go.
"Now spill it!"
"Argh, would…you… let..me..go..first." she begged
I let her go and we sit back facing each other.
"So?" I asked again
"Okay. Remember a couple nights ago?"
"Oh no please I'm over that."
"Wait listen. There's nothing to be embarrassed about we're just having fun. Don't you even know that word? Anyway just listen first." I nodded "Remember before you went home? Mira is dragging you everywhere. You both looked like drunk 12 years old at a college party." I raised my eye brows.
"What's your point?" 
"I am not giving a point."
"Would you just say it already? What is it?" I need to calm down.
"Okay here it goes. When you tripped on your foot did you remember falling down? Because you have to fall in that kind of situation. Mira's arms around you and you're off balance."
"There were chairs there maybe I caught on one."
"No. Chairs are occupied." This is not good. She saw. Maybe she knows too who that someone who caught me. "Yeah someone caught you and kept you from falling. You almost stumble upon Tyler! But he hold you and kept you on your feet. You didn't even thank him!" I should dig a hole and sleep in there for a hundred years now. Tyler is Mira's ex.
"Oh god." I put my head on my palms. I should start rehab.
"Anyway, you haven't seen it but I saw how he looked at you when you almost fall on him. He looked confused and worried at the same time. Oh, he's still hot though."
"You know I do not date, right? ESPECIALLY NOT MY FRIEND'S EX BOYFRIEND!"
"WHY ARE YOU SCREAMING? I am not saying you should date him. I'm just telling the story."
My bedroom door opened and Sam went in.
"Who should you date?" He asked
"What is wrong with you guys? I wanted to sleep."
"There's just too many food in your house so I thought we pay a visit. Now tell me what you two are gossiping about." Sam said while eating my cookies which I'm so sure stored in a secret place in our kitchen. He went to my bed and sit with me and Emma.
"We are not gossiping please go away."
"It's Saturday please tell me we'll hangout."
"We'll hangout but not midnight of Saturday!" I stand up and throw pillows at them. 
"Hey stop it!" Sam ordered. I stopped and went for the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and took a shower. I'm so sure those two are not leaving without doing something fun and by fun means going out in the middle of the night so I have to look okay.
"Hey, A! You can wear pajamas for all we care, just make it fast." I heard Sam shouting

When I went out the bathroom I saw both of them past asleep, Emma on my bed and Sam on the couch by the window. "Well, pajama it is." I went to my closet and found comfortable clothing. I went to my bed and lie next to Emma. This is nice. Friends sleeping over makes me forget about my thoughts.

Cereals are the best especially when I am not in the mood to cook for these two parasites in front of me. Sam is sulking over his bowl when I told him he is not getting more. Emma is pouring milk into her bowl and smiling, enjoying every bit of sadness Sam is experiencing right now. I stand up and took bread from the pantry and throw it to Sam.
"What are you listening to?" Sam said mouthing every word on my face. I put headset over my ears so that I won't hear their complaints and early morning word battle. "Hellooooooo?" he said waving his hands at my face. I remove the headset off my ears and settle it down the table. Sam grabbed my phone and went through my music. 
"Do you even listen to happy songs?"
"That depends on the occasion" I answered, grab my phone from him and held it up so that they could look at the screen. "This for example," I point at my first playlist. "Is my playlist for 'the people around me sucks'. This one," I pointed at the next one. "Contains songs that says 'I hate you, I might kill you. And this one," I pointed at the last. "Is my playlist before I sleep. Like a lullaby." I put down my phone.
"So that concludes to you not listening to happy songs?" 
He grabbed the phone again and went through the songs.
"You wanna listen to more depressing ones like 'I could Live with Dying Tonight' by Emma Lee?"
"No, thank you." 
He keeps browsing on my phone. 
"You know, you actually have good playlists. We cannot deny the fact that most songs or should I say, all songs have the same themes and message, just different interpretations." 
He stand up and went to the counter where we put notepads he returned to his seat holding one and a pen. He wrote 'Love' at the top. 
"Love is basically the inspiration for every song that you could think of. We could categorize each one by how love has been experienced." 
He wrote 'breakup', 'unrequited', 'torn'. 
"Break up songs, you all know are hating or very sad or just typically looking for definite resolution. I'm pretty sure you don't listen to those." I nodded. 
"Unrequited are those that are very very sad and depressing and tragic. I don't know you have of those here but anyway it doesn't matter that much."
"Does 'very' plays a big role in your explanation?" 
Emma asked after a long moment of divided attention between us and her nails.
"Maybe. I'm not good with words." Sam answered.
"Please continue. I'd rather listen to your theories than listen to both of you banter."
"Okay genius continue." Emma said making a face. Sam mock her back. I just put my face on my palm.
"So, reciprocated songs are passionate, like saying "I'm truly, madly, deeply, foolishly in love with you. It is sometimes called surrender songs."
"Like Coldplay."
"That is the perfect example." 
He started singing, "All I know, all I know is that I'm lost… wherever you go. All I know… is that I love you so…"
"Don't. Please don't." Emma interrupted his singing.
"Total surrender. I'm in love. I lost. I'm going to fight for you. Very dramatic" 
I said "Hmm. Yeah that's right." 
"What, you listen to them?" Emma asked
"Why? Aren't they cool anymore?" I asked 
"They're cool, alright. But I am not making you mixes of those." Sam said putting down his list and going for another bread. 
"How about listen to my suggestions. I have Stone & Cold Fox, Glitterbug, Echiea de Luxe, The Japanese House, Morgan Page, and Foy Vance. That's an assortment. You'll love it." Emma went back to inspecting her nails. I went back to listening to music until we all finished eating breakfast.
After breakfast we went to my room and slept again. By the time we woke up it was already afternoon.
"Aren't you going to feed us?" Sam asked, putting his stuff in his bag
"What are you, my pet?"
"I could be your pet."
I sighed and went to change clothes.
"You know what, this day is so boring but I can't think of anything fun to do. Maybe I'll just go home and sleep again. Or do homework?" Emma said.
"That is a great idea, doing homework will make you think of other fun things to do so go ahead let's go home and go back when we decided what to do." Sam said
I lead the two to the door. Before they're even gone I shouted to Emma, "Hey Em! I think I might try your playlist. Send me those when you arrived home."
"I can send you now." Emma said, smiled and punch keys on her phone. Seconds later my phone beeped. 

I realized that there's just too many characters in my story. I have to commit to each one of them and that would be really hard considering I am not good with commitment. That, I heard from the thoughts of my author. Nice. Really nice. Now I can even hear my author's thoughts. There is something really, really wrong with me. I can't figure out what but I'm definitely on the verge of losing my shit. Speaking of Verge, Owl City's Verge is now playing. A little pop won't hurt me. And Emma's assortment is really good, I can't argue with that. So back to my thoughts, I also realized that I've been interacting with too many people that I haven't been in contact in years like that sudden jerking with Alex and embarrassing wild night and almost falling into Tyler, fyi, Mira's ex.
I have to be collected and in control in this kind of situation.


"What?"
"Hold my hand."
"Why?"
"Because I want you to."
"Why do you want to?"
He did not answer. He grabbed my hand, intertwined between his own like it was made for mine to fit. Every nerve in my body lighting to life. Electricity jumping from one cell to another like playing volleyball. Every hit damaging. My heart stops pumping blood. My lungs clogged. I forgot to function.
"Your hand is so cold" He said
"It's because my ghost boyfriend is not letting me go." I said.
 I close my eyes. Not that it would do anything or ease the electrifying feeling. The blackness behind my eyelids doesn't matter, because a light, too bright, blinded me. My head started to spin. I'm falling then flying, and turning. 
His lips came close to my ears. His breathe tickles my nerves.
"Open your eyes." He whispered.

So I did.
When I opened my eyes I was so sure I am going to be late. Monday mornings suck.

Elaine went out with Adam to the park to feed the crows together. She and Adam were getting along extremely well, she even thought about dating him, but there was still something inside her that longed for Hex. She decided that she would get nowhere pining over someone who would never love her, and decided to move on.

 "So Adam, how are you liking Macabre Hearse?" she asked.

 "It's great, I finally feel like I'm a part of something that wants me to be myself, instead of what it was like in the Demon Hunters. I was just a cog in the machine there, they didn't really care about me, not like you do." He looked at her. His black suit made him look very handsome in the moonlight.

 "I care for all my people… Do you… Feel as if I've been treating you differently though? Like I'm favoring you over others?" she questioned further.

 "A little, but you want me to feel at home here, and you don't want me going back to the Demon Hunters, so of course you'd try to keep me satisfied," he said.

 "I've been… Thinking. There's someone I like, but they will definitely never like me back, not after what I did. Do you think I should try to… Suppress such feelings? Try to move on? It's not beneficial for me at all to feel such things, it's unrequited love, it only causes me pain," she asked.

 "I think it's fine to move on, especially if the guy you like doesn't like you back." he said.

 "I wish love wasn't so complicated sometimes. I made a huge mistake, but I apologized, but he still hates me. I've felt intense guilt ever since. I didn't know he had a girlfriend, and I didn't know he depended on her so heavily, my ignorance ruined everything for me. I had no chance before, but I somehow have much less of a chance now." She tossed another handful of seed onto the ground, where the crows had gathered.

 "That's terrible, I wouldn't be able to handle those kinds of emotions." he shook his head.

 "It's hard for me, so hard. I don't know how I function with such intense emotions plaguing me," she said.

 "You can't change how you feel, which hurts even more, right?" he asked.

 "It's hard to forget about him, I wish it wasn't so difficult." She sighed.

 "By the way, you run that club, right? The Porcelain Shade?" he asked.

 "Yeah, it's run by me, and I always end up playing his songs, and then I get all sentimental," she said.

 "His songs? Is he a musician?" he asked.

 "Yes, he is. He makes such good music, I can't stop listening. His band has this… Distinct sound, one I haven't found anywhere else. The lyrics he uses makes me feel less alone, like he understands what I'm going through, that I'm not crazy, and other people feel like I do, that I'm not alone anymore," she said.

 "I wanted to go there sometime, is it all just Industrial music?" he asked.

 "No, there's some goth bands too that I play, and some techno and psytrance." She shook her head.

 "Oh, that's cool. I should visit sometime," he said.

 Kalan dropped down from the back fence in his crow form, and picked up some fallen seeds.

 "What's with that big one over there?" he pointed at Kalan.

 "That's Kalan, my familiar, say hi Kalan," she said.

 "Hello human," Kalan said.

 "It talks?" he asked.

 "He has a human form too, you saw him earlier. The big muscular guy in the suit was him, the one with the long wavy hair," she said.

 "Do you not recognize my voice?" Kalan asked, Kalan's voice was low, like a radio voice.

 "Actually, now that I think about it, I do. I'm sorry, I didn't think it was you at first," he said.

 "It's alright, I forgive you, you are a human after all, humans usually aren't that smart," Kalan said

 "Isn't that a bit racist?" he asked.

 "He doesn't have a very good view on humans after all the stories I told him about my parents," she said.

 "What about your parents?" he questioned further.

 "They weren't…. The nicest people, to say the least. But they're dead now, so you don't need to worry about it. Besides, they were adoptive parents, and not my real mother and father. My mother was the Lavender Angel." She smiled.

 "Really? I've only heard stories about her, all the Demon Hunters were scared she would come back and kill them all," he said.

 "She retired from fighting after she was redeemed and the curse was removed from her body. Her bloodline is cursed, so I and my sister were destined to become demons. My nephew is half-demon but he's having trouble controlling his demonic side," she said.

 "That sucks, you told me about your nephew, how his mind split in two, and how he was possessed by his other side once he came back to life, I can't imagine what that was like for his father, reviving his son only to find that it wasn't his son that came back," he said.

 "A father shouldn't have to kill his own son to keep people safe, but he was indiscriminately killing people, him killing Marissa was the last straw for his father." She shook her head again.

 "So what about your sister? Is she doing okay?" he asked.

 "I'm not sure if she's alive or dead, I haven't seen her in the longest time." She shook her head another time, but slower.

 "That's sad, you told me you were the younger sister by a few years. Not being able to see her must be rough," he said.
 
 "She's barely human anymore, she had an even worse time than me. At least I have my body intact, and I don't need to wear bandages to keep from scaring people. Under those bandages… She's unfortunately not doing so good." She frowned.

 "Yikes, you've told me you've seen some grisly stuff, if it's as bad as you say, it's probably worse in real life," he said.

 "Well to be fair the grisly stuff that I've seen have all been caused by yours truly, so they have less impact to me. I'm trying to cause fear amongst the corrupt and the criminal, making it as grisly as possible is what I'm vying for." She smiled.

 "Those people deserve your ruthlessness, they are the scum of this society," he said.

 "I'm glad you think the same, it's high time Lyserge was cleaned of its filth, and I plan on doing so, one piece of shit at a time." She smiled even wider.

 "Don't you think there are enough seeds for them?" he pointed to the immense number of seeds on the ground.

 "Yes, that should be enough, let's go home." She turned and started to walk away.

 She was excited about Adam, he shared her views, if only he was interested in her, she thought, then everything would be perfect. She was afraid to ask him, though, because she didn't want another instance of unrequited love. She decided that she would rather wait for him to make a move than her.

Brian Alexson, going by his artist name Hex. He is the lead vocalist and does a lot of the work in his Dark Electro/Industrial band. Hex is an eighteen year old musician. He’s a smoker, a drinker, and a druggie, such a bad lifestyle! Hex is just getting over a bad breakup, when a girl shows up at his doorstep, the manager, and his friend and roommate Owen, are going to get an earful! They don’t know that their lives are going to change forever, and it doesn’t have much to do with Din showing up at Hex’s door. Who would have thought a little jewelry box with weird markings could cause so much trouble?  Who is the mysterious woman knocking on Hex’s door to return something Hex bought at a flea market? That little demon girl, who is she? And why does she seem so smitten with Hex?  What is an Angel of Acid, really? Just Hex’s band name, or something more?

I didn't expect my poems to get such a high number of views.So thank to everyone who read my book and gave their love.
I started writing this book of poems one year ago but I was scared no one would like them so I did not do anything with them. When My friends told me they loved my poems it gave me confidence. I started writing book on how I felt everyday but then I decided to write poems on how others would feel. So I would put my mindset on how others would feel and the different emotions crossing their minds.
It could be losing a loved one or dealing with the current pandemic. It could be just the weather, holiday or depression.
It was rather easy to write poems on other felt because I would sometimes feel this emotion or see others feeling different emotions everyday so I would sorta study them and write a poem. I would ask a person about their day and write a poem based on the feelings I am getting from their story.
My family would sometimes say that I can take any story and literally make a poem that perfectly fits how they are feeling that day. 

Listening to songs also helped when I am writing my poems. The type of music I listen to affects the way my poems come out as well. If it was a sad song then the poem would come out sad like. If it happy music then it would be a poem based on happy emotions. If it was a poem about young love or unrequited love then that would be what my poem would be about. Everything and everyone around me has influenced how my poems have come to be.

Another way I write my poems as well, is when I watch TV series, k-dramas, c-dramas, j-dramas and movies. These let me get into the characters emotions and I write out their story into a poem.

"Check, mic check." A guy who was checking mic spoke into checking whether it's properly or not. 

"He will be coming here at any moment for the shooting. Everything is set?" The production team last time asked before the shooting

"And here he is." With that camera, men started to shoot everything. Not taking any risk to miss anything.


"Everyone, Kim Tae Hyung." The charismatic man in his late 20s walked in wearing casual clothes as we wear at home, side hugging the interviewer, he took the seat on the single sofa chair. 


The interview was exclusively shooting for his upcoming documentary series in Los Angeles Theatre. Today, none of the audience was there to cheer for him. Only him and the interviewer with the production team were there. And the thing was this interview is not going to air on television. It was a part of his documentary and that's why it was almost hidden from his fan's. Maybe first in his career, he was gonna reply to non-scripted answers. Today, he wants to be true to himself rather than being fake. 


"The weather is good outside, I saw it when I was in the van, coming here." He said to the interviewer slightly, making small talks before the shooting can again start. " Yeah, it is. So it's all set, can we start, again?" 


" Yes."


Action.


The interviewer was behind the camera asking questions so the person, Kim Tae Hyung, can answer. The camera was already on.


"I am Kim Tae Hyung. A singer by passion, well job too. " He introduced himself sitting on a single sofa chair that was placed on the theatre's stage. 


And cut.


The first shot was taken and the make-up artist immediately came and touched up his makeup. 


He again sat in a comfortable position. "We will directly jump into the main topic. Okay. The other segments are already shot before. You left this topic for the last shot. Take your time." The director said, patting his shoulders. 


The last topic of his documentary series was his love life, how it is related to music.


Action.


"Mustangs have a mention of unrequited love. Why is that so? Your fans are curious about your songs and your love interest."


"I usually avoid these personal questions." He laughed a little. " But now I think I can speak out about myself, my true self." He said resting his hand on the arm supporter while his face was showing nostalgic expressions.


All the memories of her came back to him like water flooded inside his brain, a cyclone in heart and a giant hurricane that made him shiver. But he can't be honest, how much he'll try, he'll never be honest.


With her it indeed was love but he was never that sure of he's in love. In the journey of his life, only two things that he wanted.

One. Music

Two. She


After a pause, he replied, "I read books. They made me feel other non-existence emotions that I never had." A lie. " What book would you like to recommend to your fans?" And there was a silence. 


" Maybe John Green or just listen to my music. It's good you know." He laughed a little.

Human beings were stubborn and selfish by nature. One's own desires always prevailed over the desires or needs of others; it was very rare for a person to be willing to sacrifice their own happiness for the good of others.
Human beings were emotional beings. Each person's emotions generally dominated over the brain and logic when the heart took the lead.
Because human beings were stubborn, selfish, and emotional by nature, no man or woman would be happy if the person they loved, with whom they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together, was with someone else... The phrase "if she/he is happy, I am happy" was only valid for fantasy tales; the real world was cruel.
None of the men present were willing to accept Shen Xinya's words easily.
Because if she, the goddess loved by countless men, loved someone, they would all undoubtedly feel bad and angry about it. Just to imagine the woman they loved in the embrace of another man would make everyone's blood burn furiously.
As if a volcano that had been silent for several centuries, the place that a moment ago had returned to silence, erupted once again with all kinds of shouts.
Many of them even shouted really unpleasant things.
However, not all those present were men.
Shen Xinya not only had a large number of male fans, but she also had a large number of female fans.
The women in the place stood up and started shouting in a piercing voice at the men next to them.
Shen Xinya observed everything calmly. She knew that her words could cause a commotion, but she didn't mind. She had decided to live her life in her own way. Since everyone was selfish, why couldn't she act selfishly too then?  
The shouting and cursing continued for a full ten minutes until the anger of the now heartbroken men in love subsided.
"Xinya, we support you!"
"Fight for your love!"
"Even if that guy already has someone in his heart, don't give up!"
The women began to shout words of encouragement and Shen Xinya's beautiful eyes flooded with tears that she struggled not to let them fall.
Although she already expected it, it was not easy for her to see the angry face or hear the curses of persons who not even fifteen minutes ago smiled at her and praised her so openly.
"I'm sorry if my words hurt any of you." She continued, her voice as soft as at the beginning. "But... I'm a person, too. I too wish to be loved. I too have dreamed countless times of waking up next to a person who makes my heart tremble at every second... Is it wrong to yearn for love?"
It is wrong to yearn for love... These words were a powerful wake-up call for the men who were angry.
Was it really wrong to yearn for love? No. Of course not. Everyone, even the coldest and cruelest person in the world, at some point in their life, would yearn for the love and warmth that another person's embrace could provide.
After the anger that clouded the thoughts and rationality of every man in the place disappeared, all that was left was pain and shame.
Shame for the way they had behaved before. How selfish they were being... They could love but Shen Xinya had no such right? She was a person too! Before being the most beautiful woman in Asia, before being the hottest star of the century, before being the goddess of countless men's dreams, before everything, Shen Xinya was a woman! A young woman in her early twenties who wanted to feel love!
Tears of sorrow and regret filled the eyes of the ashamed and heartbroken men. Sobbing and even disconsolate crying began to take over the silence.
"Fight! Goddess Shen, fight for your love!"
Finally, one of the men shouted.
With an earlier case as an example, many men stood up and began to shout words of encouragement one after another. In just a few moments, thousands of shouts of praise and encouragement echoed through the place!
Xie Feng simply observed the situation with calm and analytical eyes. It would be a lie to say that he was not slightly surprised by the sudden change.  
From anger and curses to cries and compliments... Humans were emotional beings after all.
Two small crystalline tears slowly slid down Shen Xinya's smooth face. She had been singing for over three years, had signed many autographs, and had taken countless pictures with many of her fans; it would be a lie to say that she didn't expect support from all of them deep in her heart, even if she had already made up her mind.
Those two small tears, insignificant and unable to change the flow of time or the way the world rotated, caused the outburst of words of encouragement and praise to rise to terrifying levels.
Xie Yao was shocked. Apart from her, Mu Wuying and Gu Qianxue also had obvious feelings for Xie Feng. However, she was the only one who knew with absolute precision who Shen Xinya was talking about and who she was in love with... Xie Yao was surprised because she did not expect that Shen Xinya had taken the decision to leave the music world.  
During Yao Mei's birthday party, Xie Feng openly expressed his intentions to be with her, but at that time Shen Xinya did not give a clear answer and ran away saying that it was a joke. But apparently, she had made the decision to fight for love.
As for whether Shen Xinya was willing to share or not, Xie Yao did not know. She only knew that she was not jealous and would accept her with open arms; but if she intended to keep Xie Feng for herself, then that was something Xie Yao would not accept no matter what.
"Thank you very much, everyone." After the waters subsided again, Shen Xinya thanked in a voice suffocated with emotions. Everyone was silent, their hearts fluttering, listening to her next words.
After taking a few seconds to calm down, she smiled beautifully and said joyfully, "I will definitely fight for love! That's the main point of all my songs after all!"
Applause and cheers erupted with fervor.
