Upon hearing Miss Justice's greeting, The Fool Klein suddenly had a strong wistful feeling.
After knowing her identity, status, looks, and situation, he had a deeper understanding as to why Audrey's tone had a happy and radiant air. He understood where they essentially came from, but he didn't end up envious or jealous because of that, nor did he believe that she lacked the toughness that was brought about by misery. Instead, he felt that in this world that had chaos, warped, and madness underlying it, having such a lady exist was really nice. 
A smile surfaced on his face as he gently nodded as an acknowledgment of Miss Justice's greeting.
After the Tarot Club members exchanged greetings, Cattleya nudged her glasses and turned her body sideways. She bowed in the direction of the blurry figure that was enveloped by gray fog at the end of the long bronze table.
"Honorable Mr. Fool, there are three diary pages this time."
Queen Mystic has finally come online again… Klein lampooned and said with a smile, "Very good."
A few seconds later, Cattleya conjured the diary pages after receiving approval before seeing them "leap" into Mr. Fool's hands.
Klein glanced at it casually when his heart skipped a beat.
He realized that the diary pages provided by Queen Mystic depicted Emperor Roselle's early days. It didn't seem to contain anything important.
Logically speaking, when being unable to distinguish the importance of entries, one will definitely prioritize the later diary entries. This would best restore the mystery as to why Emperor Roselle was "agitated"… I believe Queen Mystic is sufficiently clever… As Klein wondered to himself inwardly, he began seriously reading the first page.
"21st September. Arrived at St. Millom. I've officially begun my first state visit.
"Feysac's weather is really a little cold. It's not even October and it looks like it's about to snow. It's no wonder it's famous for its various coats and winter wear. As well as its liquor!
"F*ck, the people here are ridiculously tall. As expected of a country that descended from giants. However, I have to say that I hate it when people look down on me!
"Tonight, I'll be going to a bar to find a Feysac beauty to share some drinks!"
Upon reading this, Klein suddenly suspected if Queen Mystic Bernadette's question was if she had a brother of Feysac descent.
Holding back his tsking inwardly, Klein swept his gaze to the second diary entry.
"22nd September. I think I blacked out…
"What happened last night? What happened to my Feysac beauty? I actually lost out to her in drinking!
"The embassy staff told me that the women here are often better at drinking than men…
"I should show some temperance when I head to bars in the future. I sure don't want some ugly, middle-aged woman to do unspeakable things to me when I black out…
"The alcohol here sure is strong. My headache has lasted an entire day. Thankfully, my stomach doesn't hurt. I should sleep early. I'll be visiting the Great Twilight Hall tomorrow."
"23rd September. The Great Twilight Hall is indeed grand. It's like a myth materializing into reality. That building seems to be completely prepared for giants.
"Since I don't share their faith, I could only circle the perimeter. The square at the bottom of the Great Twilight Hall is also filled with the fragrance of alcohol!
"There were plenty of people there, some kneeling, some sitting, others playing musical instruments. They exude a rather relaxed and open feeling.
"I got to know a Feysacian who blows a bone flute. Compared to his kinsmen, he's ridiculously tall. He's roughly three meters tall.
"His name is Honegger, and he claims to be from one of the clans in Feysac that have the purest giant bloodline. The way he plays the bone flute looks very sorrowful, as though he doesn't belong here but has no idea where to go to. Compared to the skirt chasers at Intis, he's a lot more like a poet. Now that I mention it, I really can't help but give some criticism. Those guys seem to wear any sexual diseases as a badge of honor. It just messes up the entire social market!
"I had a chat with Honegger for a while and raised my question from before. He said that he's only homesick.
"But the problem lies in the fact that he's a true blue native from St. Millom. He has never left this place before.
"Honegger didn't immediately reply to me as he played the bone flute for a few more minutes. He later told me that he misses the origins of the giant bloodline, the Giant King's Court mentioned in myths.
"He told me that he and his clan of Feysacians often dream of tall mountains that are used as giant city walls. It's a palace forever bathed in twilight's glow, with tall towers and other kinds of buildings. It resembles the Great Twilight Hall, but it's even more fascinating, epic, and miraculous.
"Without anyone needing to tell them, Honegger and his clansmen believe that it's the Giant King's Court.
"Towards the end of our conversation, Honegger slowly stood up and thanked me for listening. He was going to leave Feysac to seek out the Giant King's Court, to find the home of his soul.
"He believed that in the zone at the easternmost front of the Sonia Sea, there might be a path that leads to the Giant King's Court.
"He said that a millennia has passed, but the giants have never forgotten their home. Now, it's his turn to follow the footsteps of his ancestors. This path would never stop until the destination is reached.
"He played the bone flute again and gradually left amidst that ethereal and sorrowful tune.
"Home…"
Home… Upon reading this, Klein felt for the first time that his feelings resonated with the emperor.
Although Roselle only wrote the word that seemed to repeat without describing his feelings, Klein could understand the undulating feelings within the emperor. This was because he and Roselle were like Honegger. They had a home they belonged to spiritually.
Sighing inwardly, Klein flipped to the second diary page.
"10th January. Visited Sonia Island.
"This place is also called Ancient Elf Island. It has plenty of elven ruins and customs left over.
"I was surprised on the first day. The elves actually make 'blood cake,' and they enjoy eating animal organs and are good at using spices.
"They even invented chopsticks?
"Thinking about the elven depictions on the murals, apart from their blue hair, their facial contours and eyes are similar to Asians on Earth. Could they be my fellow countryman?"
Yes, back then, I had such suspicions as well. However, it's impossible for so many people to transmigrate at once since it's almost an entire race. I felt that I was overthinking matters… But it doesn't make sense that the customs and cutlery that appears on Earth won't appear here… Klein thought in interest as he quickly continued reading. He wanted to know if Roselle had gotten to the bottom of it."
"13th January. I've been so busy searching for writings, relics, and folk tales that I forgot to write my diary for a few days.
"Although many objects have been taken away by the various Churches, I've still obtained something of value.
"Various legends have it that Elf King Soniathrym created chopsticks. There are records of 'Him' using animal organs and blood to cook delicacies. There are stories of this ancient god being good at identifying and using spices. It's acknowledged that 'He' is their founding ancestor, the first elf. Due to certain reasons, 'He' led the race and left the Western Continent that only existed in legends, bringing them to the Northern Continent.
"Could it be that this is a fellow countryman of mine, a transmigrator?
"'He' later produced an entire race? There's nothing ancient gods can't do, including having children?
"'He' apparently had a wife who was also an elf. Hmm… I'll need to think this through."
"16th January. After further investigation, elves might really have nothing to do with transmigrators. At the very least, they didn't leave behind any Chinese, English, or other symbols.
"They have likely been using Elvish all the time. Nothing of it gives me a sense of familiarity.
"Furthermore, the inventions we have in common didn't appear before I came. Likewise for famous quotes. There are only proverbs and idioms with similar meanings but with a completely different choice of words.
"From all the items and legends I have now, none of them support my theory. This is a little disappointing, but it also makes me relieved. If I were to encounter another transmigrator or other transmigrators, I really have no idea how to face them."
"17th January. I dreamed of the home I've nearly forgotten."
Indeed, the emperor more or less gave up on that theory… Klein flipped to the next page and saw the final diary entry.
"2nd April. My daughter is smart. She can speak before the age of one! Although she has only learned a few words, I believe that her subsequent development can't be slow!
"She must have inherited this from me!
"No matter how I look, she looks a little like how I looked like on Earth. Could it be that a soul will also bring about some level of inheritance? Haha, I'll just treat it as so.
"Bernadette, this name is quite good. It sounds beautiful, but deep in my heart, I keep having the urge to give her a Chinese nickname.
"Sigh, she won't get to see her real grandmother and grandfather…"
"3rd April. I suffered from insomnia last night because of the wistful thoughts I suddenly had yesterday. Thankfully, I know Cogitation.
"However, this also made me consider a problem. That is whether I should secretly teach Bernadette Chinese.
"No, I can't. If she were to understand the diary entries her father had previously written, I'd rather kill myself! In my daughter's heart, her father is filled with honor.
"However, using Chinese to write my diary is my final tether to Earth and my past. My daughter should inherit this tether to a certain extent."
"6th April. After a few days of consideration, I've decided to teach Bernadette two Chinese characters as though they are special symbols. I'll tell her that this is a protective incantation that her father is giving her and that she is to remember it forever.
"She doesn't need to know the corresponding meaning. All she needs to do is to remember it.
"The word in Chinese is: 
"Home."
Home… Klein repeated this word again as he felt his eyes redden a little.
He finally understood why Queen Mystic had chosen these three diary pages. This was because it was the protective symbol her father had left her.
"Home."
At this moment, Klein seemed to see a river of emotions. Its surface was flowing silently, but there were infinite eddies flowing underneath, churning without end.
Klein retracted his gaze and made the diary pages disappear. Looking up at Cattleya, he asked, "What's your question?"

"What were you expecting, little witch?"Huitzilopochtli's laughter tickled my ears.
"You eat regular food?"
"Of course."He frowned slightly. "You've read too much nonsense about vampires. They're as you are. The only difference is, they need blood."
"Then the Sun?"
"It does not affect me. I'm a sun god, after all. It's the source of my power."He sobered a little. "Although, something in the transfer did weaken my children. It takes them centuries to be able to stand sunlight. I believe that the heat of the Sun must be matched by the heat within. Without balance, one consumes the other."
"Garlic, holy water, crosses, stakes through the heart?"I'd killed a vampire once and it had been easier than killing Ku, but if what Huitzilopochtli was saying was true, I'd been careless and lucky… very lucky.
"Garlic is just plain ridiculous."Huitzilopochtli waved it away. "Holy water is useless; how could something created for blessing be used to kill a god? Crosses are associated with old magic, but they've no power over vampires. And as far as stakes go; shove a big pointed stick through anyone's heart, and they'll have trouble getting up again. The only way to kill them is through decapitation, like with any god. They're of my line after all."
"But these are all strong human beliefs."I studied him; wondering if he was trying to mislead me. "Gods are shaped by our beliefs. Those things should hurt vampires, if for no other reason than because we believe they will."
"Your belief only shapes Gods. Vampires aren't Gods, they're the creations of one, and as such, they're untouchable by human belief. I'm not a vampire, but a god so myths concerning vampires don't apply to me."He cut into his hen with relish. "Besides, what human truly believes in vampires? With the creation of artificial light, humanity has gradually forgotten the reasons they should be afraid of the dark."
"That's a bit of a catch twenty-two isn't it?"I still hadn't touched anything.
"It's the truth."Huitzilopochtli made a prompting motion with his fork at my food. "Vampires are not what you believe them to be and neither am I."
"Enough of this nonsense,"Lir's sharp voice carried over to us from his seat, two chairs down from mine. "Do you even know who you've captured, Huitzilopochtli?"
"I've caught a sweet witch in my net."He leaned in and kissed my cheek.
I felt tingles dance down my spine. They met halfway with the terror creeping up from my gut and changed into a wave of nausea. I was hoping my identity would escape notice.
"Humph."Lir sneered and looked at me triumphantly. "I thought your face looked familiar so I did some research and guess what I found?"
Huitzilopochtli raised a brow. "You've ever bored me with your games, Lir. Just say what you must and have done with it."
"She's the Godhunter!"A thick, accusing finger pointed at me.
Huitzilopochtli blinked once, but none of the others even twitched. I guess I knew what the god huddle had been about earlier.
"Is it true, Vervain?"Huitzilopochtli looked at me as if I'd just morphed from a cute fuzzy caterpillar into a rare butterfly.
I wanted caterpillar status back and fast. Where's a hookah when you needed one?
"I have no idea what he's talking about."I wasn't going down without a fight.
"You disgusting little liar."Lir evidently wasn't as impressed with my charms as some of the other gods were.
"Whoa."I held up my hands. "Ease up there, Daddy Dearest, at least I didn't try to off my own offspring."
"My offspring are my affair."Lir stood up regally, but I was satisfied to see that he was shaking. "And I will not be lectured by a human who dares to murder Gods."
"I'm rubber, and you're glue,"I sang out like a three-year-old.
Lir turned a very unbecoming shade of red. For a second, the whole table paused, and I was sure we were all waiting to see if cartoon steam would start shooting out of his ears. Oh, well, I guess it was a no-go on braiding each other's hair and gossiping over bonbons. He raised a threatening hand toward me and began to chant something. I automatically went for my dagger, but before I could pull it free, Huitzilopochtli stood up and walked over to Lir.
"You're no longer welcome in my home."Huitzilopochtli's dark fingers closed around Lir's neck; showing up starkly against the pale column.
Lir's eyes rolled wildly but other than that he did nothing, his whole body going limp as Huitzilopochtli lifted him. Silent but angry footsteps reverberated through the room as Huitzilopochtli carried Lir outside and down the hallway. There were no screams or shouts. Just silence and then the soft pad of Huitzilopochtli's footsteps coming back toward the dining room.
The rest of the gods immediately went back to eating with forced gaiety. I looked around me with wide eyes and felt as if I were trapped in an episode of The Twilight Zone. Specifically, the one with the boy who could change reality and had terrorized his family until they turned into frightened sycophants. The remaining gods wore the same expressions as that tortured family had. In the episode, a woman meets the boy and stands up to him in a maternal sort of way (you know, that whole kind but firm thing), and he goes off to live with her. I do seem to recall that he kills his entire family first but oh, well, the message is the same; power respects courage.
Huitzilopochtli entered the room with a furious look on his face.
"Pray, do not fall in love with me."I grabbed my glass and lifted it to Huitzilopochtli in salute. "For I am falser than vows made in wine."I took a big sip and smiled at him as if I watched Gods literally throw each other out of their homes every day. "Besides, I like you not."
Huitzilopochtli laughed and it was his genuine laugh; loud and boisterous. It startled everyone, including me, but the gods looked truly shocked. They stared from him to me, and I saw something I hadn't expected to see in their eyes… hope. Maybe I should tell them what happened to the boy's family on The Twilight Zone.
"And she quotes Shakespeare."Huitzilopochtli smiled at me proudly, as if I'd just shown my worth. Something I should have probably refrained from doing. "Eat, little witch. I don't want you to fall ill."
He nudged my plate, but I just stared at him. I was suddenly so tired that I wasn't sure if I could even get the food to my mouth.
"Please eat, my lady,"Kuan Ti whispered from my left, and I looked over to see his eyes full of genuine concern.
Was this the way the bad guys were supposed to act? I don't think Kuan Ti had been given the bad guy book of Standard Operating Procedures.
"Okay, okay."I forced myself to cut the chicken and take a bite.
"Now, tell me why you just lied to me,"Huitzilopochtli's voice was deceptively neutral.
"What?"I sputtered and nearly choked on my chicken.
"Lir is never mistaken when it comes to his research."He sliced at his meal; severing meat from bone with surgical precision. "You're the Godhunter. It makes sense, of course. You being in the company of a god known to be a human-rights activist, your magic-filled weapons, your fierce fighting; you're the God Slayer."
"I prefer the term Human Liberator, thank you."
He exhaled sharply. "You humans love to justify things by giving them pretty names."
"I don't have to justify anything, especially not to you."
"Don't you?"Huitzilopochtli took a sip from his goblet and the liquid looked thicker than my wine. It clung to his lips until he licked it away. "I'm a god you'd like to kill. Don't I deserve to know why you want me dead?"
"You know why."I watched the thick liquid drip slowly down the side of his glass.
"I know what you've said. You don't like gods who try to make your people kill each other. This is my crime then? Instigating? It's hardly a crime worthy of the death sentence."
"Millions die because of your instigating,"I growled.
"I don't kill them personally."HHe smiled serenely.
"So, humans aren't the only ones who like to justify."I shot him a smug look that wiped the smile clean off his face.
"I think you've had enough to eat."Huitzilopochtli's chair crashed back as he stood and grabbed my arm in one swift movement.
"Well, I've had a lovely time. Thank you all for such an entertaining meal."I waved the Miss America wave as Huitzilopochtli dragged me from the room. Elbow-elbow, wrist-wrist, elbow-elbow, wrist-wrist.
"My lady."Kuan Ti got to his feet and bowed gallantly.
Huitzilopochtli yanked me down the hall and pushed me into his bedroom. He slammed the door in my face without another word. The coward.
"I wanted to go back to bed anyway."I stuck my tongue out at the closed door.

Thor is at my back, guiding me through the crowd, his hand pressing intimately against my spine and his breath brushing my cheek. We're here to stop a crazy Aztec god, but we can't see him.    ○ After Ben and Jin's Unwelcomed Arrival at a village they been searching for sometime, and Ben's transformation. Jin decided to tell Ben some things, While they look for another village. ○


"My head still hurts" Ben said, holding his head

"You will live" Jin said

"So Ben, you still want to know about the strange symbols on bbn your body, and hands and why we use quotes" Jin asked Ben


"Yeah go ahead" Ben answered back


"Ok, I'll start with the Symbols. First off, all forms have some type of symbol on them, but special forms, like you, me and other forms have special symbols which has a meaning or a story behind it. Some Symbols are unknown and later becomes forbidden, depending on the symbol. There is one legendary symbol that became forbidden all throughout the universe, if someone happens to be born with this symbol, was either banned from the village, town or even the Planet. The thing that makes this symbol so legendary and hated is that only one person gets it, and the symbol changes and moves throughout the body.

I heard stories of people killing themselves if they were born with this symbol" Jin explained 

"Wow, that's one crazy symbol" Ben said

"Yeah, but it's rare to fin someone with it now" Jin said


"There's more about this symbol, but let's talk about quotes"  Jin said

"No, I want to know more about the legendary symbol" Ben said


"Well ok, the only thing left bbn to really know about the symbol, is that according to some stories, those who was born with the Symbol, would later in their lifetime, would become the carrier of the universe's worst and dangerously deadly God like creature, legends has it, that the possibility percentage rate of that ever happening is 5 -10% of those born with the symbol. But, they must be ad calm and relaxed as a pile of rocks" Jin explained 


"Ok, but why you must be calm, if the symbol moves to the chest and grows" Ben asked Jin


"Trust me Ben, if that happens, the universe would be done for, that if the person isn't ready and strong enough" Jin said


"Ready for what?" Ben asked 


"Ben, Ben, Ben, you think this creature will automatically let you control it, it's a death machine. It even has a nickname, but I don't remember it. If you think your rampages are crazy, you'll kill yourself if you see what this creature could do. It listens to the nobody" Jin said 

"Call me crazy, but I think I want to meet this legendary creature" Ben said

"Your funeral Ben" Jin said

"So, are you done with symbols Ben" Jin said 


"Yeah, explain why we use quotes" Ben said 


"Gladly, but first, you should know that theres a story behind the quotes, but I won't get to that" Jin said 


"The history of quotes is ancient, it goes back billions of years. The very first person to ever use a quote became extremely famous. I don't remember his name, I don't know if you ever heard, but, quotes were once banned from history because everybody had quotes similar to others and that caused a universal war. It was later unbanned, because demons started to flood planets, towns and villages. The death rate was insane. A few years went by, then I was born, to end the demon rampage.

Basically Ben, we use quotes to fight off evil. There are two types of quotes" Jin explained 


"Really?" Ben said 


"Yeah, there are quotes with names, and quotes without. For example, when you were on a rampage, and I stabbed you through the chest and said, "Destroy all evil, Tensai Heal!", that's a quote with a name. Tensai was an ancient God who died of a fatal disease. He was later called "Tensai, the God of Healing". 

Anyway, the time when the Prison Keeper wanted to fight, and I put my sword To my face and said, "Destroy all evil, Infinite Destruction!", that's a quote without a name" Jin explained 


"Ok, I get it now" Ben said


   ● Suddenly, two Prison Reapers walked passed Jin and Ben ● 


"Hey, you two, why aren't you working and why are you far away from the village" The Reaper said


"That village is done for, just leave us alone" Ben said


"WHAT!!!!, YOU DESTROYED THE VILLAGE!!!!, No matter, I'll end tour life, here and now" The Prison Reaper said, as he dashed  at Ben


  ○ Ben jumped back as he swung his sword, when he did, he chopped the Prison Reaper's head off ○


"I'LL KILL YOU!!!!" The other Prison Reaper said 


  ▪︎ Before the Reaper could reach halfway close to Ben, Jin tripped him, and stabbed his sword through his heart, the Prison Reaper's heart bursted, blood started to squirt out of his chest ▪︎


"They interrupted our talk" Jin said 


"Yeah, so were you done" Ben said


"Well, I was talking about quotes with and without names. I think that was it" Jin said


"Ok" Ben said


   ● Two more Prison Reapers walked by, they saw the two dead bodies. They looked at Ben and Jin, and started to swing their scythes. Ben and Jin dodged and chopped the Reaper's in half ●

"What Is with these Reapers" Ben said

"I don't know" Jin said 


"Well, we did kill two Reapers" Jin said


"Yeah, but still" Ben said

"Anyway, let's continue to look for another village" Jin said


"Ok, let's go" Ben said


"Planet Gordon is a strange planet" Jin said


"Yeah, I'll put it out of it's misery" Ben said, as they continue to look for another village




With things winding down to the Ultimate Fight for Planet Vein, Ben and Jin must now navigate their way through Planet Gordon, to face the upcoming evils and mysteries that await them.

As Ben and Jin get closer to facing Gordon, things will change. New information and trials await, both Ben and Jin.

Huda pergi ke end portal untuk mencari bahan-bahan yang belum didapatkan.

Dharvey embraced herself, knowing that sooner or later, she is about to cry. Since she is alone in one of the places she finds comfort the most, she allowed herself to be vulnerable.
To Dharvey, she read on the internet quotes that Angela Abraham shared in descriptionari.com about sadness.
The lines that Dharvey read from her hit like home, making her save the quotes in her notepad of favorite quotes for her to read every now and then whenever she wanted to.
Dharvey couldn't count in her hand how many times she opened her notepad of quotes. She did it again while the music in her phone played, her eyes scanning to Angela Abraham's quotes about sadness.
"As the sadness comes you must love yourself as a good friend, treat yourself as a person you love, for then you will make it and the tough road will have been worth travelling with bare soles."
"Sadness comes as a painful cleanse. It is a chance to detox and reassess what is helping and what is hurting, a chance to make new choices and inform others that I have boundaries, needs and vulnerabilities."

In all of her quotes, however, stood one quote at the very end. It was still from Angela Abraham, one of Dharvey's most favorite when it comes to a quote about sadness.

That specific quote from Angela hit her. The first time she read it, she couldn't help but read it over and over again.
Every time she felt down, she couldn't help but read the quote. The last time she did read the quote was before she met Arlo and the others when she was in a depressive state.
Now that she is left alone again and that her friends were gone in an instant, she couldn't help but open it again after a year of not opening it for a very long time.
To Dharvey, it's true—what Angela said about sadness. One must let sadness come out like a bullet from a wound. It hurts like hell, but it is.
Dharvey knew too well of how one would feel if he or she continued to bottle his or her feelings. If it is kept inside for too long, who knows how it will snap the person.
She did that for how many years since she was a child until now that she is a young adult. Before she met Arlo, it was the moment when she was about to commit suicide from the school's rooftop that she felt that she had enough of everything.
With the events that had transpired a while ago, Dharvey didn't even need to bottle everything in before she felt enough of her life again.
It happened all of a sudden—something that she didn't expect because of her own selfishness clouding her judgments.
It was a ripple effect affecting everything that she had in life.
Like a bubble, it suddenly popped to nothingness, leaving nothing behind but little droplets of liquid that represented all she had left.

Dharvey suddenly felt a sudden surge of adrenaline rush in her body. As she leaned her body out of the window, she wanted so much to jump even though it was only a one-storey house.
Instead, she just shouted at the top of her lungs, surprising some birds and other creatures at the back of their house. 
She then started laughing as she hung her head low, shaking her head at the same time to make her long hair hang loose outside the window.
"Fuck my liiiiiiiife!"
Dharvey shouted once more, some tears escaping from the corner of her eyes as she tried her best to control herself not to cry uncontrollably.
At the same moment, Ava silently appeared in Dharvey's house. It was easier for her to visit the place since she saw how Frey and the others came to visit her house when she and Levin pried into her memories.
Sighing at the sight of Dharvey as if she was about to lose her mind, the demoness, Ava, crossed her arms in front of her chest and cleared her throat, slightly surprising Dharvey as she instinctively turned her body to look at her uninvited visitor.
"Oh!"
Dharvey blinked her eyes a few times, a foolish smile appearing on her face as she spoke, no longer caring what she was about to say.
"Who's going to visit next? The other angels?"
Ava shook her head, knowing that Dharvey didn't care what she was talking about because she already knew what else is there to lose when she already lost everything?
Her friends, and the person she loves.
Taking a few steps in, Ava approached Dharvey, the Cambion, laughing as she sat on the floor, looking up at Ava as she didn't know why she visited her in the first place.
"What? Angeal came home and told everyone about what happened? You came here to punish me, is that it?"
Ava didn't say a single word. She knew that Dharvey is already in the brink of a depressive state, not wanting to egg her in further since it would only make things worse for her.
Instead, she just knelt in front of her, reaching out her hand towards Dharvey. 
The Cambion, confused, just cocked her head to the side in wonder as she arched a brow at her, wondering why Ava acted this way towards her.
Ava then gave her a small smile. She spoke, making Dharvey vulnerable again as what Ava said poked her heart, exposing Dharvey's emotions.
"If no one else would be willing to listen, then I would without judgments."


"Devin, do you love me?"

Hearing her question that had snapped him out of his thoughts, the Soul Eater opened his eyes slowly to meet her blue eyes once more. He smiled foolishly as his right hand reached out to her face, his thumb caressing her bottom lip.

"Is that a question you dare ask your husband?"

Angeal pouted like a child. 

"Tell me you love me... or I’ll cry."

Devin chuckled, making Angeal pout more as she narrowed her eyes at him. When Devin ceased his jovial laughter, he didn’t answer her question. Instead, he bent down as he pulled her closer to him, his lips smoothly landing on hers to give her a loving kiss. 

’I love you, Angeal. Before I even knew it, my heart yearned for you.’

Punished by the Almighty Seraphim, Devin was branded a fallen angel and was given a curse to become a Soul Eater—a being who is hungry for souls and feeds on them for sustenance.
