In their world, there was no NG in their performances. They were always live streaming.
Therefore, after the rehearsal, they performed directly. Everyone's acting skills were very good and they were not bound by the original roles.
After one performance, it was the most incisive.
Aria acted like a mermaid royalty. She was elegant but also very black-bellied. She portrayed the characters very well.
The most outstanding supporting role was Snow White.

Twilight looks at me taking a deep breath.

I show Twilight how to walk, and she follows my lead, but still wobbly.

We saw pony characters in human form.

"Where are we?" asked Spike.

I shrugged my shoulders, pretending not to know.

The camera closes-up on the statue base.

"I don't know", said Twilight, walking to the statue.

"But that must serve as the gateway back to Equestria", Twilight figured out as She pushes a hand through the surface; the ghostly image of a hoof appears beyond.

"We need to find my crown as soon as possible and get back there",  said Twilight, then she pulls away and shakes her head.

Twilight turns away resolutely. 

The camera cuts to just behind her, framing the new place she is now facing: a two-story red brick building with two wings framing a central courtyard where the main entrance is located. The roof above these doors is set with a glass dome topped by a small flagged clock tower that would not look out of place in Canterlot, and a sculpture of a crowned gold horse head stands atop each corner facing the street. Two windows are mounted directly above the doors, an eight-pointed star on the first story and a rearing horse on the second, and a third gold horse head tops the roof above them. Tilt down slightly to frame Spike at her side.)

"I suggest we start searching the castle first", said Twilight, looking  at Canterlot. 

"Works for me", said Spike.

Before Twilight started heading to the door like a pony, I showed her the way she should walk.

"Oh… right", Twilight blushes from embarrassment.

I smile and lead Twilight to the door.

"Kanisha, how do you walk so easily?" asked Twilight, amazed.

I covered my mouth, realizing I'm acting too much like a human. 

I turned to Twilight, pointed to people that were passing by, and saus "While you were panicking I observed the people's movements".

"In only a few seconds?" asked Spike.

"I'm a fast learner, and don't worry Twilight, you'll get it", I said. "Just remember one foot in front of the other".

"Foot?" questioned Twilight.

I pointed to where our hooves used to be.

"These are called feet?" questions Twilight.

"Yeah, but we'll worry about that later, we need to find that crown", I remembered, and headed to the stairs.

Twilight follows me, starting to walk more human-like.

We end up by the door.

Twilight tries to use her magic, but it doesn't work, and says "My magic it isn't working".

I felt Twilight's head, and says "You don't have your horn".

"What?!" gasped Twilight.

"We really need to find you a  mirror", said Spike.

I guided Twilight, while Spike opens the door.

The camera shows a long shot of the building's interior as they enter. We are inside a school, with trophy cases in the front lobby and banners/signs decorated with horses' heads and C's attached to the second-story balcony. We advance cautiously, the camera cutting to just behind them and panning to frame the decorations visible from this angle, all with blue backgrounds: some showing a yellow C, the others depicting rearing horses to either side of a yellow horseshoe superimposed on crossed lightning bolts. The C's in all of these banners/signs are styled as sideways-facing horseshoes.)

 "What do you think, Spike?" asked Twilight, looking through the glass."Other artifacts she's stolen from Equestria?"

"Kanisha, what are we?" asked Twilight.

"That I haven't figured out", I lied.

'Sorry Twilight, but I can't tell you yet', I thought.

The bell rings and the halls flood with students of all make and model. Both normal skin tones and pastel shades of other colors are represented. They stream past Twilight and Spike, paying no mind even though he has jumped up into her arms out of sheer fright. As Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon pass, the former gestures carelessly with her cell phone and knocks the two new arrivals to the floor, where a dropped soda can bounces off Twilight's head.

"Huh?" asked Twilight, barely missing getting hit with a basketball. "Ooh!"

I try my best to get through the crowd of people and pulls Twilight out too, which makes her fall by a boy with spiky hair in two shades of deep blue who is reaching for something in his locker. He wears sneakers, jeans with turned-up cuffs, and a dark gray jacket with one stripe each of red and white on the back and each sleeve. Spike is first to get clear of the throng and doubles back to yank her out; a stuck foot comes loose and she tumbles against the boy's legs. He turns to face her, exposing vivid blue eyes. This is Flash Sentry.

"Whoa!" exclaimed Flash, and closes his closet.

"You okay?" asked Flash, holding out his hand.

Twilight answers his question with a silent nod, and he goes on his way, books tucked under one arm.

The earliest builders of the Twilight Capital left behind the group of sculptures standing silently in the darkness. When they finally stabilized the urban structure inside the shroud and were able to control the opening and closing of the shroud smoothly, those who were outside the city left these things outside the gate. While 2,000 years had passed and the sculptures had undergone numerous rebuilds as well as replacements, they still looked the same as they did on day one. These sculptures in the dark reminded the survivors of the Twilight Capital of everything that they had lost: the world outside the shroud.
There were many versions of stories about these sculptures. But even if they did not know the stories, Hao Ren could infer a lot of things from the face of these sculptures. It was said that each of these sculptures was indeed a person, the last group of people who fell outside the gate when the Twilight Shroud formed. Wendell was familiar with the stories of these sculptures.
While Wendell told of the stories, they passed through the Gate of Twilight.
Hao Ren felt like he was passing through an elusive wall. The light shield that sheltered the city was thin, he could hardly feel the thickness of it when he walked past it. As he crossed the shroud, he could feel the burning scent and harmful radiation in the air were blocked entirely out on the outside and replaced by a smell of smoke that was just equally bad.
He looked up and found that the entrance to the city was even more desolate and broken than he had imagined. There was not a decent sentry post or people around the gate although it was a crucial gate. Dilapidated gray-black buildings were everywhere while two twisted towers stood symmetrically on both sides. The outer walls of the tower had peeled off, exposing the messy metal structure inside. A wide ramp extended out with abandoned facilities and sparsely lit buildings of various heights lining on both sides. Metal pipes and steel cables intertwined in the sky like a cobweb with smoke shrouding all around as if a mist.
Looking up along the ramp, Twilight Capital was like a spiral mound with buildings stacking up infinitely. It appeared like it was so overcrowded that the city's terrain had swollen. In between those stacked buildings, groups of white smoke rose up from time to time. Behind those smokes, huge machines were running the whole time, the noise of which could be heard throughout the city. It sounded monotonous yet annoying.
"That is a big boiler." Wendell could not help but smile upon returning to his hometown. Though he had prepared not to return when he departed on a journey of searching for the light, he still could not help but get emotional when he was back here again. He was overjoyed. "That is the biggest steam boiler. A few large boilers provide half of the power in the city.
"Steam boiler?" Hao Ren suddenly came to his realization. "Your city uses steam power?"
"Yeah, great steam technology," Wendell said. "It is said that the giants of the ancient times created this thing. Surtr, the king of the flames was the master of all steam powers, but when the gods fell after the collapse of the heavens and the earth, the power of steam spread to the human world and gradually became something that humans could control. I used to have a workshop, and I was good at making gears. But the workshop was closed down a long time ago."
Hao Ren nodded, his eyes cast around. He noticed that even though the entrance was desolate and broken, it was not without any people. People were emerging from the dilapidated buildings, which seemed to have been in existence for hundreds of years. These people wore ragged clothes, were scruffy and strange. They were surprised to see outsiders, looking from afar but dared not come close. Then someone, recognizing Wendell as the Light Seeker, screaming in fear and ran away.
There were few more people following him running away too.
"Ignore these people," Wendell said while walking forward. "They are the miners on the outer edge of the city, long exposed to the radiation environment, and somewhat neurotic. They deserve respect but are still unable to integrate into the inner-city community, so they all gather here."
Miners, as the name implied, were people responsible for collecting resources. But in Twilight Capital, these miners were paying a heavy price.
They were responsible for collecting resources outside the city—outside the Twilight Shroud.
These people went off with heavy protective gear every day, took the steam locomotive and left the city from another exit to the mines in the darkness. The mining site had low-powered protection equipment but was pale in comparison to the Twilight Shroud. These miners were subject to long-term exposure of deadly magic radiation and toxic gases. The toxic environment continued to erode their bodies and spirits, and eventually, these people became dry and suffered brain damage, just like what Hao Ren had seen. The Steam Assembly provided the families of these miners with the best rations and housing in the city.
But the miners' blood, hair, nails, and even breaths were poisonous. Thus, they could only live in the outer zone.
There were many people still voluntarily coming to the outer zone to work as miners because they wanted their families living a comfortable life. Of course, there were those who came here involuntarily; they were criminals living in exile here, but they usually did not come out as they had to lie low.
Wendell brought them leaving the avenue and walking into a lane hidden in the shadows of buildings. At first, Hao Ren thought that Wendell was trying to avoid someone. "Are you hiding from the people of the Steam Assembly? We are not interested in the assembly, and we are not planning to hide from them."
"No, I didn't." Wendell shook his head helplessly. "If you want to go into the inner city, you have to go through this lane. The avenue is in disrepair. Since the decline of the Light-Seeker team, no one was using that route, and the other routes are more difficult to travel. I will take you to see an old friend who is the administrator of the mine locomotive. He can take us to the inner city. After that, I would be able to get in touch with the Light Seeker's headquarters."
Hao Ren nodded but said nothing. He silently followed behind Wendell, hustling towards the dark, dirty building complex that looked like a crouching steel monster while curiously observing this strange, closed city.
Obviously, after the Twilight of the Gods, the survivors of this world did not let the civilization completely stagnate. Though their development route had become very weird and the city within the shroud was also deformed and distorted, their society was still growing. Two thousand years ago, the humans of Midgard were mice of experiments and playthings of the Norse gods. They lived a primitive and rough life like other human beings of the same period. Today, 2,000 years later, they built in the Twilight Shroud a steel city driven by machinery and steam power. Galazur was amazed beyond words.
Despite all these difficulties, their technology tree was still growing!
Wendell brought them onto a trail and went past a lot of old, seemingly abandoned buildings, but there was still sound on the inside occasionally. Judging from the slope under his feet, he had to be on the way up, he thought.
At last, they arrived in an open space.
There was a vast steel platform supported by massive pillars volleying over several tall buildings. Several parallel rails extended out from the platform into the distance, through the Twilight Shroud before disappearing into the darkness. The rail tracks led to the mines, while the other end of the rails extended along the city's terrain all the way up to the top of the cone-shaped city.
So the railroad was mainly a large artery.
When they arrived at the platform, they finally saw the steam locomotive that Wendell mentioned.
It was made up of two heavy but sturdy mechanical monsters, bigger than any of the trains that Hao Ren had ever seen, including the old steam heads he saw in the movie. Large pipes and rivets lined the cylindrical locomotives, and dark steel made the engines looked heavy. Behind these powerful locomotives were several dirty carriages.
Men in greasy suits were working busily on two locomotives, greasing and calibrating the gears, tightening the valves, and writing sacred runic characters on the front of the locomotives with white paint. These runic letters would bless and protect the locomotives so that they could return safely from the darkness outside the Twilight Shroud. Many miners were waiting to embark the train carriages at the rear. They were wearing heavy protective suits, inlaid with some soft metal silk. Every miner had an ugly helmet hanging from their waist. The helmets were made of leather and metal, joined by two tubes to their suits.
These heavy protective suits looked similar to the one Wendell wore but significantly rougher and more cumbersome. Though they looked massive, they worked quite effectively. The Lightseeker's equipment and amulets allowed the wearer to cross the ruins of the Nine Worlds. The protective suit and helmet of the miners only allowed them to survive for ten hours under the magic radiation; they had to return to the outer zone to replace some components and recharge the runic characters before they could set off again.
So the most important lesson every miner must learn when they first started their job was to catch the return train.


As a person who is down-to-earth as well as a good Samaritan, Hao Ren desires to live the rest of his life as a benevolent landlord. Stumbling into a curious yet mysterious lady, he began his journey of “collecting” abnormal and supernatural tenants.

My latest work had been published on WebNovel. The story was called 'Meeting Bella Swan', and it was a 'Fan-Fic story' about a fictional encounter with Kristen Stewart, the star of the Twilight Saga. 

Bella was 25 at the time, 5'5" tall, honey-blonde hair; although in the film her hair was always shown black. Bella is very fit, as shown by the amount of stunt work she did on the film, but she still had a very feminine figure, just the right amount of bustyness with great legs. I found Bella very attractive, not just physically attractive, but also her good nature as she showed in many of the interviews she did for the film. I wrote the story on a whim after watching the Twilight Saga movie many a times.

In the story I wrote, the protagonist 'Craig' was staying in the same hotel as Bella Swan when she is on her promotional tour for the film. They bump into each other a couple of times in the hotel, get to talking and end up sleeping together. I tried to make the story not just a straight out 'shag-fest', but for the characters to get to know each other first.

I also tried to make the ending a little bitter sweet as both characters enjoyed their time together, but they knew it would never happen again. Their careers were not really compatible and the tyranny of distance made it impossible for them to continue the relationship. 

It wasn't the story I had intended to write. I did it as a way to cure the dreaded 'writers block' on the story I was really working on. In the end I was quite happy with the story and it seemed to be well received on the website. I had a few positive comments, plenty of power stones and even a couple of emails that were complimentary about my work. The positive feedback (and even constructive negative feedback) helped with my confidence and I returned to my incomplete story with a renewed vigour.

About a week after the story had been published, I sat down at my computer after a hard day at work. I didn't feel like writing that night, so I checked Webnovel for new stories and to see if there was more feedback on my current effort. After some time there I decided to quickly check my emails before signing off for the night.

He was not aware that his participation will make his dreams, both good and bad, come true.


After the golden ancient character appeared, Melody's fingers exhibited a beautiful sword dance as she carved out 12 cyan colored ancient elf characters consecutively. It was like the stars revolving around the moon, as the 12 cyan colors cup the ancient golden character, forming a profound mystery; thriving with nature vitality. 

Next up was naturally to invite the perfect intact spirit coconut egg into the boiling pot. Sheyan took the initiative as he delivered the coconut egg directly towards the ancient elf characters, sparing her the effort of using psychokinetic to the move the egg. 

Within the ancient elf characters, the coconut sized egg gradually turned transparent. An astonishing pocket-sized Ocean-freak Moria octopus appeared within, its eyes still closed but its tentacles were frantically struggling. Yet, it was completely futile against the pressure of the ancient elf characters. 

Very quickly, the pocket-sized octopus within the egg shell turned rigid, gradually disintegrating into speckles of faint blue, but not dissolving into fumes. The speckles directly swivelled around the 13 ancient elf characters. Gradually, the golden character at the nucleus started swelling, causing the other 12 cyan colored ancient elf characters to become slowly plated over with gold. When the egg was utterly extracted, Melody breathed in heavily; the 13 glittering gold ancient elf characters were sucked into her mouth. 

Melody shut her eyes. Sheyan could sense a rapid temperament transformation within her. If she was described as the fresh bud of spring previously, then right now she was the luxurious fragrance of late spring and the early summer. Previously, only still green leaves were present, not blossoming flowers sparkled between the leaves. It was obvious her might had transcended a new level, nature smoothly poured with from the reserved Melody. 

Sheyan hinted for Melody to continue absorbing, but she shook her head. Currently, it was her limit, besides she was still a newly awakened twilight elf. However, her current strength could be compared to a twilight elf who had been cultivating for an entire 20 years! If she continued to force her way up, then more harm would befit her than benefit. 

Thus, Sheyan and Reef starting their own absorbing process. The process now was much simpler. Pursing her lips, the 13 golden characters flew out of Melody's mouth, as it revolved around her without her needing to carve anything; it was like the servant acknowledging their master. With their aid, Sheyan and Reef easily absorbed the essence of 2 coconut eggs. 

No matter Sheyan or Reef, they both reaped a huge bonus. Apart from a marvellous +2 to all attributes, their HP and MP were permanently raised by 50 points!! Of course, this effect only happened for the first time they absorbed, it not they could very easily break through into the 50 points attribute world limit. 

Actually, Reef nearly miscalculated and commit a sequence error. If he had first absorbed the coconut sized egg before trying to absorb the ones Sheyan gathered, that extra +1 to all attributes of the latter would've been utterly overlooked. If not for Melody alerting them, Reef would have really wasted such a golden opportunity. 

Observing Melody's power once again expanding, Sheyan couldn't help but ask. 

"How strong do you think you are now? Are you able to compete against that uruk-hai leader, Lurtz?" 

Melody had nearly been raped by an uruk-hai before; although she had miraculously raised two levels of strength as a twilight elf so far, the emotional bane of that traumatic experience still lingered within her. Whats more to compare against the uruk-hai leader, Lurtz? His power was so dreadful, he could even kill Boromir of the Fellowship! Hence Melody didn't reply to him, but merely casted a pitiful expression at Sheyan. Sheyan then slapped his forehead and sighed. 

"Alright, then how about an ordinary uruk-hai?" 

This time, Melody shyly nodded her head. Even though her past life and experiences had returned to her, she was still an elf maiden who had just reached her coming of age. Naturally, she still had an air of youthfulness and inexperience. 

Sheyan's eyes glittered as he continued. 

"We definitely have a chance if you can deal with 5 uruk-hais at one go......oi oi what's with that expression. Fine, fine, 5 is indeed demanding, how about 3?" 

"Still no? Two?" 

"What! In addition to us, only can deal with two......" 

At present, Melody was still using yesterday's standards in judging him and Reef, she had no clue the two of them were reduced to a pathetic state without their equipment. Although they just earned several benefits, it was still vastly far from the overall bonuses their equipments provided. 

Sheyan released a long sigh, then looking towards the few Tentacled-freak mingled amidst the orcs and uruk-hais. This Tentacled-freak in his eyes was essentially a 360 degrees machine cannon without a blind spot, that had the appearance of an octopus. His initial idea of attempting to slaughter his way out was instantly extinguished. Hence, he could only do the thing he hated the most to do - wait for heaven's will to manifest. 

Since the path ahead was impossible, Sheyan could only try thinking of a solution for the way backwards. Although their prowess had matured a little, but compared to two legendary creatures, they could still be described as ants maturing into crickets; the same fate of being trampled laid ahead. But also because of their insignificance, they would not be noticed easily. Thus, he was trying to see if there was a sliver of hope to pull chestnuts out of fire. 

After Sheyan cautiously crept back nearing the mountain belly, he was shocked to discover the temperature had been raised substantially. Peeping closer, he could see a weary and injured Ocean-freak Moria; it had already retreated towards the west underground lake. Two more tentacles had been severed, as its severed flesh convulsed incessantly. However, the fiery intensity of the Balrog's superficial body was also flickering miserably, not as overbearing as before. It was obvious both sides had been considerably wounded. 

Yet Sheyan didn't have the slightest desire of trying to exploit the clash of the two mythological titans; waiting for them to inflict mutual damage before being the main lead, reaping mind-blowing profits from taking advantage of the situation. His only desire was for an opportunity for the 3 of them to escape. 

Unluckily as Seyan extended his head into the mountain belly, it was the same timing as the Balrog charging towards the octopus. A scorching heat wave surge against his face, its pressure unfathomable like an unyielding mountain. At that instance, Ocean-freak Moria released a blood-curdling whine, a sound wave swept out from its beak as though it was a solid formless slab; causing Sheyan to instantly turn giddy. Its largest twin tentacles immediately drilled forward like a pike, deeply stabbing into its opposing opponent! 

The core body of the Balrog was abruptly skewered! The flames rolling ferociously, but two shocking deep holes were formed from the impaled aftermath! 

Once again, the Balrog flickered in transformation! 

As for the fiery whip in its hand, it cruelly lashed against...the floor directly in front of the Ocean-freak Moria! He could distinctly see in this instance, the flames of the whip seemed to be divided and dropped off. In a flash, the whip was demoted into a queer, sinister, pitch-black bone whip! The flickering flames of its body instantly divided into a thousand fiery spirits, issuing a crazed hysterical laughter as it submerged underground......





Instantly, huge fissures erupted out over the originally moist ground surfac. Through the fissure cracks, a terrifying red glow like lava sprung out. In a flash, over the entire ground surface of the mountain belly, a massive crisscrossed network fissure of red lava glow appeared!! 

Sheyan's pupils instantly contracted, he could already see clearly the Balrog's intention.....Actually, this flame devil's intentions was actually not to assault Ocean-freak Moria! The Balrog obviously was clear that even if its might was superior to this humongous octopus, slaying it beside a water source was virtually impossible. 

Hence the undying Balrog's goal was very simple. Why had the Ocean-freak Moria visited this mountain belly? It was obviously to breed its future generation. Hence, if it dashed this very matter, then Ocean-freak Moria wouldn't continue staying over here. 

The lava like fissures swiftly spread towards the surrounding walls.
