Dear followers, 

I am sorry for the delay of this book's updates. I am tempted to join a contest, not aiming to win,  but shamelessly hoping to be read widely as a new writer. I did not have formal education in writing but I know from the very start that this is my passion. 

The new story I am writing is titled, "The Beautiful Witch". This would just be short,  about ten to twenty chapters only. Nevertheless, I would still be updating this book at one chapter a day.

This is going to be a very different plot. There would be touches of horror and suspense, a totally different imageries from what I am being used to write.

THE SYNOPSIS

Seeing herself in a full - length mirror in a beautiful wedding gown, Kaitlyn's thoughts flew off to the warning their gardener gave her. What he said flowed out vividly into her mind and all of a sudden, she got scared. Her marriage  to a man her parents had arranged for her would give way to the revenge her groom's parents had plotted long ago for their family. 

In that last minute before she would go down to the waiting bridal car, she made up her mind. She couldn't allow herself to be trapped in a living hell,  much more to a loveless marriage. 

For some reasons only her parents knew ,  they refused to let her meet him prior to the wedding. What if he got an ugly looks which would become a nightmare in her sleep?  What if he got those horrible physical attributes she would later find  difficult to digest? 

Running towards the exit door of their house, she slid inside a huge garbage can and allowed herself to be brought to Mount Maria. 

Days passed and soon rumors had it that a new witch had resided in the mount,  scaring all the  villagers with her appearances. 

What had become of Kaitlyn?  Had she really turned into a witch? 
Had she turned into one of the supernatural dwellers of the mount?

Troubled by her scary presence which already affected their daily activities, the people gathered to look for a volunteer who would be brave enough to face her. 

To their surprise,  Dr. Michael,  the new village doctor assigned to their district took up the courage to go up and kill her!

Allyza lifted up her eyes to Hayri, her fiance who stood beside her on the deck. He looked back at her with those tender eyes, filled with so much love and admiration for her.

Little did he know, that the woman he loved and adored so much for five years was the one he was long haunting down to kill to avenge for his father.

Now that I'm just stockpiling chapters instead of writing continuously, I am actually beginning to write MORE. If such an allegation was to be true, then that would be a significant violation of the terms of service of Gringotts Bank. We are willing to conduct a search of each and every one of the vaults here at Gringotts, however this is not an inexpensive procedure. If your allegations prove to be false, Gringotts will require the amount of One Thousand Galleons as compensation for the expenses of the search. If your allegation proves to be true, then Gringotts will personally see to it that the horcrux is cleansed of its Darkness, and the contents of the criminal vault are yours for the taking, as a reward for informing the Bank of this. The bank will naturally take its searching fee from this account. We hope you are amenable to our terms. Please get back to our bank regarding whether you would like to take us up on our terms or not. These terms are non-negotiable,

Amelia Bones read out the letter which the Goblins had sent to the Leaders of the Light. Gringotts Bank was their biggest lead, as Dumbledore had postulated that Voldemort would have wanted to put a horcrux in the two safest places in Britain, Hogwarts and the famous Goblin Bank. The Leaders of the Light had followed up on this and contacted the Goblins.

Despite being legal criminals against the puppet administration of the Dark Lord, the Goblins did not care who they did business with. They were lethally neutral in wars between humans, and could be counted on for reliable service as much in wartime as they could be in peacetime… which was not a lot to be honest, they were a species mostly involved only in their own prospering.

There was a moment of silence after Amelia had read out the letter from the goblins as all of the Leaders contemplated the offer. It was a high risk high reward situation. Funds were scarce for the Order of the Phoenix, and the organisation was mostly run out of the private vaults of its wealthier members, such as the Blacks and the Greengrasses, loathe as Iliad was to part with his precious hard-earned gold.

Each of the members of the Order looked at each other.

"I am not taking that liability, our vaults are not endless," Iliad opined immediately.

"Why can't we take this money from the Potter vaults?" Harry asked.

"You are still a minor, Harry, we could hardly ask that kind of expense from you. That kind of money is what a regular auror could HOPE to earn in an entire year, it is no small amount of money."

Amelia sighed, "I will risk it," she said simply, "There is enough left in the Bones vaults."

There was another silence, before Sirius asked, "Are you sure, Amelia? You have been out of a job for the better part of a year, and you have your niece, Susan, to take care of."

"I will handle it," Amelia said with a tone of finality, "Besides, we are hoping that the horcrux IS in Gringotts, in which case I will not be charged a single knut."

The rest of the members of the Leaders of the Light finally nodded in understanding, and Amelia spoke again, "So shall I begin to draft a letter of acceptance?"

Her proposition was met with nods all around the room, and the Bones matriarch began to write out the letter to the Goblins.

"Minister Bones," Harry called out, for he still referred to her as such despite the Bones matriarch having been ousted several months ago, "Are you aware of the goblins' letter-writing customs.

"Goblins have customs?"

'Dear Teller Gobbleknave,
May your enemies' blood taste the ground,
We, the Leaders of the Light, have read through and discussed your proposition. We agree to all of your terms. Please conduct a search of all of your vaults. If you find nothing, you may have the amount of one thousand galleons only from the Bones vault,
May the gold of your enemies fill your vaults,

Gobbleknave was surprised, to say the least. Amelia Bones seemed to have learned some goblin customs, truly unusual for a pureblood witch. He found himself slightly impressed by her niceness.

Still a fool,' he thought, 'That is an easy thousand galleons for me to make, there is NO way that a Horcrux could possibly be within the vaults of Gringotts. Each and every object in our vaults is checked for all dark curses by a goblin.'

Despite the chances of there actually being a Horcrux, untrustworthy goblins may be, but they were ALWAYS truthful.

He sent the order down to the main office of Gringotts, which functioned behind the scenes to scan all of the vaults for a Horcrux. Goblins were very efficient, it would hardly cost them a few sickles to conduct the search, let alone a thousand galleons.

Gobbleknave was about to turn quite a healthy profit off of the foolishness of Amelia Bones.

A witch walked up to his desk. This was not an uncommon occurrence, he was a teller after all, but this was special.

It was Bellatrix Lestrange. One of the generals of the Dark Lord Voldemort. Goblins did not take sides in wars between humans, but that did not stop them from seriously looking down on despicable people, and if there was one thing that Bellatrix was, it was despicable.

Unfortunately, if there was a second thing which she was, it was dangerous. Bellatrix Lestrange was extremely powerful on her own, let alone the fact that her death would bring down the wrath of the Dark Lord, which was a big no-no for the Goblin Bank, being the only reason the insane bitch of a witch was still served at the bank.

"I wish to withdraw something from my vault, goblin, a golden cup" Lestrange spat his species out as if Gobbleknave was some kind of rodent.

"Of course, Madam Lestrange," Gobbleknave said with a rehearsed politeness, while imagining all the ways in which he could impale her inside of his head, "Right this way."

An animated flying paper airplane, the usual mode of communication inside of the bank, came and smacked Gobbleknave on the head when he didn't catch it immediately. This brought the bloodthirsty goblin out of his fantasies of murdering Bellatrix.

"What are you waiting for?" the aforementioned witch snapped at him.

'Horcrux found. Golden cup in the vault of Bellatrix Lestrange.'

An: By the way, if anyone is wondering why I CAPITALISE instead of italicizing for emphasis these days, for some reason italics don't work on webnovel. I really don't get why...please fix it webnovel! I still have the letter in italics cuz I don't know how else to express it, I've just put 'single quotes' around it.

There were mysterious murders taking place at District 12 every last weekend of the month and the serial killer was at large.



"Our killer was not just deliberately peeling of the face of his victims. He was also eviscerating their body and purging out their organs, particularly their hearts. It was like the killer wanted to remove everything that made one human."

"You have just spoken my mind," the Empress replied, smiling awkwardly at her daughter.
"If you both had agreed, then what are we waiting for. It has been so long since we last visited her, lets Grace her with our presence," The Emperor said standing up from his magnificent throne. For a man who has lived for thousands of years, he still looked like he was in his early thirties. Although he looks handsome, the evil glint and the evil aura that always surrounded him makes him looks dreadful. At first glance, one could tell that he is an evil man.
Michelle, the empress and emperor made their way to the dungeon with their guards at the front lighting the way for them. After they got to the long dark passage leading to the dungeon, they heard a loud voice coming from the dungeon which was a significant distance from where they were standing.
"I will only speak to the princess alone. Everyone else should stay behind," the magical voice echoed through the hall.
"We have come down here to make an inquiry from you, so why do you want to speak to the princess alone?" The emperor's angry voice echoed in the room, his expression instantly turning furious.
"The prophecy only concerns the princess, so only she may alone listen to all I have to say. I will not make any revelation if anyone dares to disobey my order," the voice echoed in the hall once again. With the authority the voice carried, they knew that before the witch made such orders, she had fully prepared herself to get killed by the royal family.
"So there is the existence of a prophecy I am not aware of? And why is that wretched thing so bent on speaking to the princess alone?" The emperor thought in annoyance as he quickly exchanged secret glances with his wife. Princess Michelle did not see them acting all suspicious.
"Father, I think we should just do what she wants. There is no cause for an alarm. No matter how powerful she is, she can never defeat me so be rest assured that nothing will happen to me meeting her without the both of you," Princess Michelle who was so eager to hear the prophecy spoke up to the amazement of her parents.
"Didn't you always detest meeting her, but why do I feel you are eager to meet her today? Is there something the witch who cast a spell on you revealed to you that you haven't disclose to us," Emperor Sampson asked suspiciously? Even His wife found the princess words' actions suspicious.
"That is because meeting her all those years has always been her repeating the same old story, but that isn't the case right now. It's my life and future that we are talking about now, so I can't act as wilful as always, right?" Michelle asked, staring at them with an indifferent expression. She didn't give a damn whether or not they suspected her. She turned and walked towards the direction of the dungeon when her parents did not speak further.
"You know how cunning witches are, be at alert when talking to her so she won't poison your mind against us. We will wait right here for you," the empress shouted after her. Michelle just continues walking, she did not show any sign that she heard her mother's warning.
When she reached the big mounted iron door, she did not waste her time in using the keys to unlock it. She flew the door open at the flip of her fingers.
"You said you wanted to speak to me alone, start speaking," Michelle order fiercely the moment she stepped foot into the vast dusty room. Her gaze fixated on the woman whose hands and legs were chained with big chains. Because of the chains, she could not move around as willed.
The witch kept quiet even after hearing the princess orders.
"I said start speaking or didn't you hear me?" The impatient princess spoke angrily, her voice carrying so much authority. "Although father forbade me from killing you, I will not hesitate to snap your neck if you dare disobey my orders."
"Your father is using his powers to eavesdrop on us. If you want me to reveal the prophecy to you. You must use your powers to create an enchantment spell around this dungeon so he won't be able to listen to a word I have to say," Michelle read the witch's mind.
"Why are you suspicious of...,"
"Just do as I say and stop asking questions," the witch ordered. For a minute Michelle could not believe that the old hag she had always ordered around dare to give her orders.
How dare she to order me around? What gives her the boldness to think that she can order me around and I will obey her.
Michelle thought furiously, glaring daggers at the old witch.
"Seeing you acting so obstinate, I guess you aren't interested in the prophecy anymore. If that's the case, you can take your leave," Michelle read the witch's thoughts yet again.
She folds her hand into a tight fist when the witch used the prophecy to threaten her. She just glares at the witch fiercely for two minutes in silence. She felt the urge to roast the old hag alive, but she didn't when she recalled the importance of the half prophecy she heard a few minutes ago.
Without exchanging more words with the clever witch, Michelle closed her eyes and started performing the enchantment spell. Her eyes flew open seconds later.
"There is no more excuse for you to give so talk or you will not like what I will do to you if you keep on trying to play games with me," Michelle commanded, her fierce gaze on the witch. An iron bar serves as a demarcation between them.

Hello and once again thank you for reading Witch Are You?
I must apologize for my lack of update stability. Recently I've experienced unforeseen health issues that resulted in more than one trip to the hospital and doctor with few answers to the cause of my specific health problems. While awaiting further visits with specialists and a definitive diagnosis I am still rather weak and fatigued. 
I will continue to update as frequently as I can and please rest assured all of your favorite characters, as well as the plot as a whole, have definitive arcs and endings which I think you all will be pleased with. I even have a second novel in the works entitled "Kissing Shadows" which centers around a female protagonist who is a masterful assassin and a target she can't quite bring herself to assassinate named Ashe. The artwork is nearly done for the cover and I can't wait to share it with you all!
