Vulgan was a poet on earth. As a typical poet like Shakespeare, Ovid, Enheduanna, etc, he lived in the figment of his imagination. He did write about quite the number of gods and explored a lot of themes of spiritual stances. Of one of the gods he wrote mostly on was the god of the sea, Poseidon. He did write about his rage and power. He wrote about his castle under the water. Then he wrote about himself walking in the midst of fire, getting betrothed to a Nymph and being someone of great reverence as the almighty. He really took his muse on a ride.

Then came a day that he became so gay as stirred by the poring powers of booze. He was so drunk at the ceremony of the opening of the new cave of Myclops, the village priest. Then at the middle of the drunkenness, he was caught up in gloom and then he opened his eyes to meet himself before a glass-like lawn of sea without waves. He thought the world had come to an end and he was the only one left on earth. Later did Poseidon, his guest came and welcomed him to his fantasy.

In the world of fantasy, he was to act everything he had written in all his poems. And tell you what,he wrote more of gothic piece. He was matter-of-factly a metaphysical poets. He did have his way with some of the exhibitions until it came to fighting with Leviathan, walking in the midst of fire and being like the Almighty. He knew then that he might be a pawn of time.

He got to return home, earth, for a short period of time to burn some parts of the poems he wouldn't act. But he wouldn't burn any, though he knew the consequences. Like all poets or writers, who will burn his intellectual property? And his time on earth was waning! He rather burn or his world of fantasy might have him burnt. He had written what would mar him. The walking dead!

"What would you like to be? A toad, serpent, bench, signet, papyrus, pot of Cauldron? Say."

 What kinda crazy list was she making? How crazy she was. She couldn't even make any soothing and pleasurable form. He would take those as a message from a cherub in hell. 

 "A necklace!"

 "So be it."

 She touch his erection (the closest thing to her) and he turned immediately into a necklace. A necklace with a green blob. 

She wore it around her neck and slid it into the path between the two enormous boobs.

 That was all Vulcan had ever wanted. That moment should never pass away...

Vulcan was a horror poet when he was alive. On the day when Myclops, the village priest was to dedicate the cave to Medusa, Vulcan got drunk. And in his subconsciousness, he was caught up into his fantasy. There he was met by Poseidon, the god of the sea, before a sea of glass. He was welcomed into his fantasy. There he was to act all the things he had written in his poems. 

 It aint as easy as whichever way you are looking at it. Remember he was a horror poet. Enjoy his fantasy with him. How he met Medusa, several nymphs and fairies and discovered the secret of the wierd priest.

 He would fight Poseidon, Leviathan and maybe God too, because he wrote all those in his poems.

I heard a voice from my dreams. It was a girl-- longing for comfort and warmth.
I woke up with broken brushes, messy canvas, and empty bottles of pills. As my eyes land upon the other side of the cold window-- I saw something different from what I've seen before.
I saw something catastrophic.
Something depressive.
Something darker.

Author's first notes:

I've started writing stories since I was a kid, the same time I learned how to draw. Back then, I thought of writing as just one of my hobbies because I really more into drawing stuff than writing stories. I even made a comic once but never made sense due to lacking plotlines and other stuff [laughs at cringe]. Then when in high school, that's where I kinda(?) take it seriously-- but it still sucks and cringey by the way. Most of the time before, I always write horror stories, especially ZOMBIES-- I have this UNDYING love of the Zombie genre. Night of the Living Dead (1990 remake), Dawn of the Dead (2004 remake), and of course, one of the best zombie stories I've ever dive into was The Walking Dead (comic). To me, Night of the Living Dead restores the classic movie and innovates it at the time, and I love it. The Walking Dead set the bar high for the zombie genre, and Dawn of The Dead introduces me to the running zombies (thanks to Zack Snyder), which scared me more than the walking ones. Those films, books, and comics were my inspirations to write this novel (which will have some references *wink wink*).
2 years ago, also in high school, I'm planning to make a graphic novel with the same title as this. Well since I suck at writing stories, the story of the scrapped Dead on Arrival story was like a replica of Telltale's The Walking Dead [laughs at cringe again]-- but months later I threw it all away because I don't want it to feel like a replica of something, so I've waited for myself to improve a bit in writing. This story I'm giving you guys right now might not be unique or might not give something new, I wrote this story because I want to tell people that these characters inside of the novel are based on the people I really cherish.
2020 was said to be the WORST YEAR as I'm hearing a lot in posts on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. But to me, honestly speaking, it was one of the best years. Everything was unexpected, people come popping out of nowhere, people dying everywhere, any shit you can even think of-- but for some reason, in that year, I have met the best people that came into my life. Those people became my friends, then developed as best friends, now I think of them like my brothers and sisters. It was late-October and early-November of 2020 when I started thinking about reviving this title and completely writing a new story with new lore. Writing this novel for me was like writing 200+ pages of love letters just for 12 people [chuckles].

The dead comes back to life, and they run-- a more reason to fear on. Lin, Mae, Jon, and Zack, using their immunity, fights their way amongst the hordes of living corpses to preserve their own future.

(The first thing I wanted to say is that I don't know anything about Marvel or DC comics (except the movies), so I don't know anything about any Canon stories. Nevertheless I try to introduce Villains from the comics. I will try to get the best out of both comics Universes. Have a nice read :)
"Mhh...where am I? This doesn't look like my home," John asked himself as he looked around. He soon realized that only he and a man very similar to Gandalf were in the Wise Men's Room. Just as he was about to ask the man in front of him what was going on, the man in front of him said, "I'm sorry John that I had to travel you out of life, but you were just too lucky.
"John was confused about traveling out of life and he was too lucky. As if hit on the head he was on his way to win the Nobel Peace Prize when suddenly a meteorite completely destroyed his car. "So why did you bring me here just because I've always been lucky in my life, God didn't have to shoot a meteorite at me," he said emotionally.
God smiled at him with calm and warm eyes and replied "If you had lived on you would have found the secret of life and the journey through time and that only 5 years after winning the Nobel Prize. This would have been very bad for humanity, which would not be ready to take such a responsibility. Look and I didn't want to just take you out of life, I offer you to be reincarnated and well done to realize that I am God.
"All right *sigh* how does it work now?" asked John. Then God smiled and said amusingly, "Well, you won't get any wishes, we're going to a spinning wheel for the world you're born into and then one for your abilities and that's it. God briefly moved one hand with a twisting movement and out of nowhere two huge lottery wheels appeared on one of them with a diameter of 7 miles. John was amazed that with a simple gesture of his hand, such large lottery wheels could fit into the room. He looked around and realized that the room they were in was gone and that he and God were in another much larger room. He looked back at God and asked in an interested voice, "How am I going to make the lottery wheels spin because they look so heavy?
"They just look heavy. So turn the first wheel to choose your world and hope it's not Boku no Pico" God said smiling.
sighing he took a grip of the wheel and saw some worlds like The Walking Dead, Fairy Tail, Teen Wolf and the culprit of one of his nightmares Boku no Pico. John gained momentum and hoped for all the worlds that are out there, especially no BL world where he would be the MC. God said he should make himself tired because the bike would brew a few hours to slow down.
Timeskip 10 years
God and I saw the wheel slowing down and I sighed when I saw it passing all the BL anime, manga and novels. It finally stopped at a question mark. I was confused and God saw it immediately when he told me that I could choose my favorite worlds and they would get mixed up. Without thinking about it I chose DC comics, Marvel comics and for my inner perverted high school dxd. He accepted them all and also asked me for the ability to spin the wheel when I went to bike I saw abilities like All for One, Supersoldier serum but also some like dishwasher and big foor abilities. So I took a fixation of the wheel again, took the momentum and repaired the wheel with all my strength.

Timeskip 15 years 
In the years I was with God we talked a lot and made jokes together, but we both saw that the bike was slowing down and we went there. It was getting slower and slower. Until it stopped and it also stopped on a question mark. God laughed out loud and said " John I have seen so much happiness for the first time. Since the ability wheel stopped on a question mark you can choose any ability and it will be transferred to you and you will be reminded how to use it and it will be freed from any weakness and in some situations even strengthened. "John thought about it for a moment, but he quickly realized which one he would take. "I decided to take the abilities and demonic look of Sadao Maou from the series The Devil is a Part Timer. 
(I want to give him a harem, but how many should go in and write who should go in and maybe I put them in).
"So then it's time to say goodbye, it's been a good 25 years, but now live your life and who knows maybe I'll pay you a visit. I am known in the comics as One above All. " God said. 
As John dissolved into thin air he couldn't stop smiling and thanked God heartily.

Intervar took the seat that had been given to him. He tried to relax a little so Hyena wouldn't ask questions but it was getting more difficult to do with the wedding coming closer.
"Do you want anything to drink? I bought orange juice yesterday." Hyena rubbed his eyes and looked at him again.
"No thank you. I had dinner with my parents before coming here." Intervar looked away from his gaze and focused on the paintings on the walls. He had bought some of them but others Hyena had been given from his mother before she died. 
 "What's wrong? You're tense." 
 "Nothing. It's just that work has been stressful." Intervar shrugged it off like it wasn't a big deal, hoping Hyena would just let it go. 
 "You're lying." Hyena's voice sounded so dead, Intervar flinched when he heard it. 
 "I'm not. It has been stressful." He tried to defend himself but he knew it wasn't even believable. 
 "Lier. What's wrong?" Hyena glared at him intensely and Intervar worried if he was about to attack him. He just decided to bite the bullet and give in.
 "I'm getting married to Emory Nix. The woman has been driving everyone up the walls." He sighed and looked away. 
 "Why her? There are a lot of better people." His voice was still dead but Intervar didn't flinch this time. Now he was just concerned Hyena wasn't all that honest with him.
 "Father wanted someone to carry on the business so he's open Emory or our children carry it on. Mother seems happy with the choice." He heard Hyena growl softly, clearly not happy with his reasoning. 
 "There are literally several million women and you chose her. With that, if she's driving everyone up the wall, why don't you just cancel the wedding and to top it all off, your not even straight."
 Intervar felt himself tense up. Hyena was making very valid points and there was nothing he could argue back with, nothing to make excuses for. He thought back to when he came out to Hyena as gay, when Hyena found out what his parents said about gay people. 
 Hyena told him that pretending to be straight was like painting over a crime scene. You may not see the blood and you can ignore it all you want but there was still a crime scene and the walls are still covered in blood. Intervar hadn't understood it back then but now he understood it well. He can pretend to be straight and ignore it all he wants but he's still gay and there still won't be a happy response when he tells his parents or the council for that matter due to the Hush Law, that bans all gay people from joining the military. 
  "If Emory finds out, your screwed. She could tell your parents or the council if she wanted." Hyena stated bluntly.
 It made Intervar a little angry that Hyena was right. That was council was right. If Emory found out, she could blow up his whole spot and get kicked out of his house. He felt like a volcano just about to erupt and tear down cities and towns.
 "She won't find out! No one will find out!" He felt himself snap at Hyena who's face had soften completely. 
 Now he felt bad because Hyena didn't deserve it but he didn't feel like apologizing. He still felt angry at the council for enforcing the stupid law, he was angry at Emory for showing up, he  felt angry at Hyena for making great points as he felt angry at himself for letting everything get so far. 
 "I'm just going to leave. It was pointless coming here anyway." He got up to leave but noticed Hyena get up as well. "I know where the door it, Hyena." He glared at him. 
 "I know you do but why the hell are you leaving." 
 Intervar just ignored the question and began walking to the door. He didn't know how to answer the question really. He had no reason to leave, he was just running from his problems again. He felt his anger rise again, he was angry that he was acting like a coward and Hyena was letting him even though it wasn't Hyena's responsibility. 
 Hyena didn't chase after him when he slammed the door behind him and Intervar didn't look back once even if it was raining horribly. He just walked back to his house through the rain and when Micheal saw him, he didn't ask questions, he just lets him inside without waking his parents. Miss Katie saw him and she didn't ask questions either, she just grabs him a change of clothes and places them on the counter in the bathroom. She assumed he would have wanted a shower but he just didn't have the energy for it. Through he took a shower anyway and took his time changing. 
 He went back to his room and saw Donn at the end of the bed. He lifted the covers respectfully and carefully got into bed without waking Donn. She would want to hear about his night in the morning will they went to the Queen's meeting with King Ronald until then he fell asleep or he tried to.  He remembered when he first met Hyena. They had met in some grocery store while Intervar was on a mission.
 He walked in the store casually, looking for anything that wasn't covered in grease until he noticed someone near the comics with his jacket zipped all the way up and his hood on. He walked over to the cashier to ask about the man. 
 "Who's that? Near the comics?" He whispered to the woman, who's name tag read Marget. 
 "I'm not sure. I think he's one of the crazies from Mallo St. Asylum. He comes in everyday with a medical bracelet and looks at the comics, he never buys anything though." Intervar winced at her loud whispering and rude name for the man. While Mallo St did keep the mentally ill, they weren't all crazy or dangerous. The asylums just kept anyone who couldn't be in the general society or couldn't pay for their own medications. 
 "I'll go speech with him now. See what he's up to." He smiled and whispered to her. The woman in return gave him a look filled with gratitude. 
 "Hello, what are you looking for?" He asked politely, trying not to startle the other.
 "Why would it matter to you? Piss off!" He glared at him and Intervar thought he was about to stab him.
 "I just thought you looked interesting to talk to." He shrugged. 
 "Do you talk to everyone like their a dog?" The man wasn't glaring at him anymore but he still looked angry.
 "Sorry, I didn't realize." He rubbed his neck, uncomfortable with the change of subject.
 "It's fine. Want to walk to the park?" The man turned to face him.
 "Um, sure. Sounds fun, I just have my bond animal outside though." He didn't expect the conversation to change so quickly. 
 "Wonderful, let's go"  He waited for Intervar to start walking out before he followed. 
 Intervar learned many things that night. First, the man's name was Hyena and he liked walking around at night just to scared people. Second, the medical bracelet came from Vincin Hospital. Hyena had been shot a few weeks before and the hospital was holding him until the wound was completely healed. Third, he never bought anything from the store because he was hoping a guard from around the area would walked in. Hyena apparently saw him at the hospital and heard he sometimes went to the store across the street. 
 Intervar looked at Donn before he fell asleep. She hadn't moved since he got in bed but she'll probably move later into the night.

Intervar, The Gravedigger, finds out his friend had hired someone to kill him and his pet. Reporting this information to Queen Sei, She hires a strange man who promises to protect Intervar.  Unfortunately, he’ll get more than he bargained for when he finds out, there’s more than what meets the eye.

July 17, 2021

Finally, my birthday...Yet I still have school. Wow... Which is annoying is, it was already the rainy season, but it didn't rain... But I need to call my friends after school, We're going to hang out at my house. Playing and doing things, I have been thinking that I didn't hear nor notice my teacher calling me to answer a problem on the blackboard, God...Math is hard...
After school, 3:40 pm 

It's funny how everybody in my section hates Mathematics, it's literally hard. Like half of the class in my section are failed in Mathematics, there are only two smart kids in my section, Kenneth and Michaella, well, Michaella is smart though, but she is weak at math, I like seeing Kenneth help her, I can feel the chemistry. They're better together, but I know that I shouldn't be jealous of them because I still don't have someone to help them with problems, but I know, the thoughts in my head are saying that "Don't get jealous, you'll get this someday." I also imagine myself as Kenneth and Zelda is Michaella I should not make it obvious to them because they're my friends too, I should be happy for them. And also for my own sense of humor, I tease them about them being together, but secretly, they ARE together.

I texted my friends that we're going to meet up at my house today, they all answered at the same time that made my phone lag, plus I doubt that Zelda isn't awake yet, but it doesn't hurt to visit her now, it'll just be a ten-minute walk from the hospital to my house

Ten Minutes Later
I finally got home, seeing my friends outside the door of my house, I went up to them, opening the door and opened the lights, Josh and Jesmery has their sleeping bags, Kenneth and Michaella holding hands, Ronald with his manga books, Marla with her TWD comics, and I, have bought recent volumes for a manga I'm trying to finish, not ready for season four of the anime though, I asked:
"Y'all need anything? And by the way, Josh and Jes, Why'd y'all have a sleeping bag?"
"We want to sleep here," she said, laughing at her own words
"...really? That's great, I'm always alone here. Thanks," I said, smiling back at them.
"Oi, John, I really need water." Said Kenneth,
"Get it your own, you lazy ass kid," I answered him, Laughing
"...I hate you..." he said back to me, with a dire expression on his face,  his eyes are covered with his hair,
"I'm sorry" walking away, laughing silently
I went to show them my room and my collection, my manga collection, I'm planning on completing Attack on Titan first. Before the other mangas, I noticed Ronald has his whole freek'n One Piece collection with him, it's heavy, so he and I carried half of it. Cause it has 97 volumes, I'm wondering how Ron carried it all the way here even though his house is like 15 minutes away from my house, like how..? Then Marla, on the other hand, is just an independent smart girl that loves TWD, and I, myself also like The Walking Dead, I'm still starting to collect the comics. But I'll ask her later how much is for one volume of The Walking Dead, and you know what they say, the Manga/Comic is always better than the Anime/Television adaptation. Then I asked them
"Y'all want to watch anything? I have Netflix on my tv."
"Yeah, sure," said Kenneth
"What show?" Ron asked
"Any anime..?" Jesmery asked
"Eh, The manga is better," I said
"How about Zombieland and Zombieland Double Tap?" Marla Recommended
"Oh, yeah! I know that! I have been wanting to watch those for a while now." I said
I opened Netflix on my tv and played Zombieland then went to my kitchen preparing food, I asked them if they want to stay over because my house has two guest rooms, They answered
"Yeah, bro! And please, continue making the pops man, we're hungry as hell over here."
"Okay..?"
I finished making their "Pops" and they are still watching there, laughing at the jokes in Zombieland, but I'm here, writing a poem in my head.

Ending
"We had no ending,

Those spiral of thoughts are so long and so deep that it continued to pierce my heart thinking of that poem I made for Zelda, but I try to forget those thoughts and went to my friends, sitting down on my couch next to my best friends in my life, I've always wondered if we'll still be friends in the future knowing that we'll all part ways someday...That's the thing that hurts me the most, thinking of our future but, to me, I know it's bad to think about what is gonna happen in the future, that you should always focus on the present, then think what do you want to be in the future, who'll you be in the future, will we be successful or not in the future, but no, just think about yesterday, I will just accept the life I have now. Because those who don't accept their lives are just wasting their own life to their own spiral of thoughts in their head. I just want to be with her, I just want to, I don't want to lose her. Just- I don't want any more people losing. I just don't- I better accept this life, but one day, we'll all meet again, right? Or no? But that's the thing about life, you don't know the answers until you grow old, It's your choice to accept the life you have, or you don't, it's my choice to accept my life. I know what it feels to be alone as well, I know that the worst part of being truly alone is you think about all the times you wished that everyone would just leave you be. Then they do, and you have left being, and you turn out to be a terrible company. I cried next to my friends and they asked 

"John..? Are you okay?"
"I was so good at being a kid, and so terrible at being whatever I was now," I answered

Some things never really change the way we are...

"I thought to myself that, should I confess to her this early? It's just five days until Valentine's day. Should I do it now? Nah, I'll do it on the fourth day before Valentine's, but my thought wasn't clear. I felt like confessing now is the right thing to do... I felt like I need to say it but I can't... I can't force myself to not say it. But it's getting to me, it's getting annoying... I keep hearing and seeing illusions... I hear and see, My own Nightingale Illusions...."
