And she had so many grand plans that would let her succeed. She wasn't worried at all. Except, she didn't know how long it would take it to achieve all that.
'Could it be that I'm overestimating myself? I better be careful, cuz this is not a novel only and this is reality', she thought.
So, she carefully began planning.
First, she doesn't want to be the Empress. It's too much of a burden for her, and if she wanted to slack off, she wouldn't be able to do it. And who knows, if it interferes with Xie Jing Xing's plan, he'd stop at nothing to kill her. She wasn't her sister to be let off by him even after provoking him. Although she'd love to see how he looks as the author had praised his looks to the heavens, 'Bro-in-law' is off limits.

I woke up with sweat pouring out of my body.

I sat up and reach for a glass of cold water on the bedside table. The coldness of the water run through my throat, sending relief to my stiff muscles as I continuously gulp the water down. Today is the day I've awaited the most, a day I can finally return to the capital. There might be bad memories from my modern past but a new chapter is about to open, and I don't want to miss this chance. A chance to live a life with happiness. 

For me everyone who lives in this manor are people I call 'my real family' and no one can replace them. My father, Duke Feng Changming is a veteran general who won victorious battles whenever the emperor send him to war. While my mother was once a military general, Duchess Feng Jiayi who stopped her career and took care of me. And we live in an island filled with kind hearted people. Not long after the battle of Earth, Brighton Meadows woke up in a strange place. The last thing that Brighton remembered was being chased by those Zimwarn people. He remembered being hit in the back. Brighton tried to move but realized he couldn't. In fact, he couldn't feel his body. 

He could move his head and he looked around the room where he was. All that he could see were computers, screens, graphs, and electronic readouts. There were so many different types of machines. However, there weren't any humans anywhere. "Just where was he?" Brighton wondered.

After a couple of hours, Brighton finally heard a human voice. 

"So, you're awake finally. I thought you wouldn't wake up until we reached the Palace." 

Brighton couldn't tell who was talking until a man walked into his vision. Wasn't this Lorne's father?

"Brighton Meadows, it's good to meet you. You did something that frankly shocked me. You even lived, even more shocking! Although you just barely survived, and only because I had you transported to my medical facilities. Still, a commendable and amazing accomplishment. This was after the even bigger accomplishment of destroying a Zimwarn Warship." The Emperor smiled.

Brighton looked at the Emperor with a puzzled look on his face. This man wasn't usually one to chit-chat. From his experience in Holywood, this was the typical behavior of someone who wanted something from you. What did this man want from him? 

"Earth is safe?" Brighton asked.

"Yes," the Emperor said.

"Lorne?" Brighton asked.

"Yes and no." the Emperor said.

"What do you mean?" Brighton asked.

"Lorne technically died during the battle, but he's fine now. He's training in some universe we've never been to." The Emperor smiled.

"He's dead or he's alive?" Brighton asked again.

"Dr. Lorne Longoak, the Invincible Hero is dead. However, he has been reincarnated. So Prince Lorne of the Zimwarn Empire Lives," The Emperor said happily.

Brighton didn't get what there was to be happy about. It sounded like Lorne died. It's too bad, he always liked Lorne.  Oh well, he liked Lorne but not enough to care too much about his death. The monkey looked around the room.

"As for me, am I okay or am I paralyzed?" Brighton asked.

"Paralyzed, I'm afraid." The Emperor said. 

"Too bad," Brighton said.

"You don't have to stay that way." The Emperor said. 

"You can fix me up?" Brighton asked.

"I could fix you up and make you the same Brighton Meadows that you've always been. It's not hard with the technology at my disposal. The other option's a little more interesting though." The Emperor said.

"Other option?" Brighton asked.

"Hmm, I notice you like this whole Cosmic Monkey thing. I saw you at my home on the Jupiter satellite. Those prosthetics are hard to work with, but you really like this monkey business. Lorne mentioned you several times. He said that you were obsessed with the Cosmic Monkey role. He called you a 'method actor'?" The Emperor said.

"I suppose that's true," Brighton said.

"I have another theory." The Emperor said. 

"Another theory?" Brighton asked.

"My interest in you was piqued when you destroyed that Zimwarn Warship. Humans shouldn't be able to do that. Even someone like you, one of the most powerful humans on the planet, is still nothing compared to a Zimwarn Warship or even its warriors. I wondered, how you got past all the guards and sentries that protected the important areas of the ship. You shouldn't have been able to do that." The Emperor said. 

"I just slipped through them," Brighton said as if it wasn't a big deal.

"That's just it, you don't just slip through Zimwarn defenses. Not a creature as weak as you." The Emperor said.

"Why's that?" Brighton asked. 

"Zimwarn senses are unbelievably sensitive. Whether it's our eyesight, taste, or even our hearing, all of our senses go way beyond what you humans can imagine." The Emperor said.

"Ok, how did I get by then?" Brighton was also puzzled. It sounded like he did something he shouldn't be able to do.

"That's why I checked your genetics. You, humans, think that everyone on your planet with powers has them as a result of mutations, science experiment, or other such things. Until you met Lorne, it never occurred to you that certain alien lifeforms naturally had strange abilities." The Emperor said.

Brighton's eyes began to sparkle.

"Are you saying I'm an alien?!" Brighton asked.

"No, I'm saying your abilities come from aliens." The Emperor said.

"Huh?" Brighton said. 

"At some point, one of your ancestors joined with an alien. The eventual result was you." The Emperor said.

"It was a long time ago?" Brighton asked.

"Yes, I don't know when but the important point is some of your alien ancestor's abilities awakened within you.  Your biology is an echo of the past. Locked within your genes is the remnant of a missing link. There was once a race of aliens, they were monkeys from the stars. They were called the Cosmic Monkey race and before they disappeared, they were this universes' strongest warriors. 

You see, I think the reason you are so obsessed with the Cosmic Monkey is that you've unlocked a piece of genetic memory. It's pretty common for this to happen among Beast Men Cultivators. If you possessed more of this genetic material you would probably remember more, and you would certainly be capable of more. Even better, you could have what you've wanted your whole life; to be whole." The Emperor said. 

Unknowingly, tears began to stream down Brighton's cheeks. This was exactly his issue. Brighton had always felt he belonged amongst the stars. He felt an intimate connection to his monkey heritage. 

"You can help me with this?" Brighton asked.

"I can," the Emperor responded.

"What do you want?" Brighton asked.

The Emperor smiled in response.

Mary was confused, first, the Empress said that her husband, Lorne, was dead, but then she said that she wouldn't be the main wife. Main wife to a corpse? What was going on?

"I don't understand, you just said that Lorne died in battle," Mary said through her tears.

"You'll find that death isn't as permanent for those in the Zimwarn Empire as it is for others." The Empress said.

"What do you mean," Mary asked.

"Mary, my son loved you very much. You could say that he considered you his soulmate. That's why I sent my Zug Impendia to bring you and the children to me. We are headed for the Zimwarn Empire's Throneworld. I wanted to take this opportunity to explain things to you." The Empress said. 

Mary nodded. The Zimwarn Empire was strange but seemed magical by Earth's technology standard.

"It seems you and Lorne's father came out on top of this fight with the Usurpers," Mary said.

"We did." The Empress said.

"Ok, I'm listening, why won't I be the main wife," Mary said.

Truthfully Mary didn't care about this. As a serious student of archaeology and history, Mary had long ago accepted that among many cultures polygamy was considered normal. This was especially the case regarding Empires. Marriages were a way to strengthen political bonds, avoid wars, and even absorb other kingdoms. Mary guessed that Lorne was probably the only one in their family who understood Mary. She certainly had her pride as a woman. Who wanted to share their husband, but she recognized given Lorne's status there was little either could do. 

"Before I get into the marriage situation I would like to give some background context to our Empire.  The Zimwarn Empire began on the planet Zimwer about eleven million years ago. The Empire began as a small kingdom on a planet much like Earth. Lorne's father was a clever inventor at the time. He worked in the Karvason Kingdom's palace creating new war machines and technologies. His brother Heken was similarly a genius in biology and genetics. The name of the ruler at that time was King Karvason, my father. 

Lorne's father and uncle were orphans of one of the Noble families that had died out. He and his brother were the last in the lineage. My father was astounded by the genius of Lorne's father. Eventually, he recognized that our kingdom could reach beyond the stars if Lorne's father became the next king. 

At first, Lorne's father wasn't interested in ruling, all he wanted to do was invent things. Eventually, however, he saw the need to take over my father's role. Unfortunately, the day Lorne's father was crowned king he was nearly assassinated. He was mortally wounded for sure. With the help of his brother Heken, he was able to stabilize himself temporarily. 

The Emperor, Lorne's father, realized that he needed a new body and if he didn't get one he would die. They say necessity is the mother of invention. In the Emperor's case, this was literally true. Heken had already invented a process for growing new bodies, unfortunately, these bodies were soulless but strong. Heken had even figured out how to inscribe cultivation technique into the genes. This meant a person didn't have to learn certain cultivation techniques, he had them as an inheritance. This is much like the bloodline inheritances of dragons and other beast cultivators. 

The experimental body that Heken had created was outfitted with high-level sensory abilities including the Ridarn vision which was a cultivation technique created by a master Ridarn hundreds of thousands of years before. Heken also created a technique that allowed a person to concentrate photons into the eyes forming a laser beam. This is our laser vision. Heken didn't like any of the body tempering techniques enough to engrave them in his proto-Zimwarn Warrior body. 

Heken's innovations and creativity inspired the Emperor. The Emperor, with the help of his brother, began to create a technology that became the core of our Empire the Rebirth Chamber. The Rebirth Chamber allowed one to separate souls from bodies and place them into newly engineered bodies. After many months of work, and his body about to die, The Emperor took possession of his first engineered body. It was the first Imperial body. 

This new body was extremely powerful. He was quickly able to cultivate his body to a high level. In the meantime, the Emperor had Heken use the Rebirth Chamber to give stronger younger bodies to all of his most trusted men. These were the first Zimwarn Elites. In fact, the Emperor wanted to create an Empire with his technology that stretched throughout the multi-verse. It was then he decided to change the name of the kingdom from the Karvason Kingdom to the Zimwarn Empire. He named the Empire after our home planet Zimwer. 

After he renamed the kingdom to the Zimwarn Empire and created his Zimwarn Elites and Zimwarn warriors, the Emperor struck out across the planet Zimwer and absorbed every kingdom that existed. The ones who plotted against him turned out to be radicals within my father's kingdom who felt threatened by an orphan of a dead noble lineage taking over the Kingdom. They even went so far as to make an alliance with the Gibean Kingdom who provided the assassin. The Gibean Empire's nobles and all those in upper society were killed by the Emperor in reprisal for their murderous attack. 

Today, the Zimwarn Empire spans ninety-two universes. Once your husband takes command, this Earth universe will make ninety-three universes." The Empress said.

"Amazing, you and the Emperor are the first rulers of a multiverse Empire?! It's hard to believe that he's had a rule of around eleven million years. The longest single rulership recorded in Earth's history was Pepi II who ruled Egypt for ninety-four years." Mary said. 

The Empress smiled with concern at Mary.

"Mary dear, regarding Lorne's marriage situation..." The Empress began.

"Mother, you don't need to worry. I'm a student of history. I understand the importance of polygamous marriages on a political stage. I'll be happy to just be with Lorne. I'll make him loved and the other girls can make him strong." Mary said with a smile. 

"The fact that you said that will always make you my favorite wife of Lorne's." The Empress smiled gently. 

"However, I understand that it's not easy to share. I'm not the Emperor's only wife and I grew up with the understanding that whomever I married I would only be one of his wives. It's always been hard for me. In fact, only the first prince  Karvason, named after my father, and Lorne, the last prince, are my sons. The other ninety-one sons belong to his other wives and concubines. Still, I'm the one he loves the most, just as you're the one Lorne loves the most. I'll always be there to support you, dear." The Empress then embraced Mary in an affectionate hug. 

The two women continued chatting for the rest of the evening.

His life began as a superhero on Earth. He's died and lived different lives but always utilized strange and mystical technology to continue as a hero. Whether it was a dragon warrior or martial artist on a primitive planet, Lorne was the Invincible Hero.

Konrad's eyes fell back on the map standing before him. Clearly, it highlighted key spots of the first three layers of the Tower of Rebirth. Meaning that either the holy consort or a Metze elder had taken a trip there. With this map serving as foundation, he could indeed obtain many benefits from the tower. However, it wasn't necessarily worth it. 

At his current level, above the Transcendent Rank and below the Holy Rank, the panoply of talents available within the two factions was undoubtedly enough to drive him into a corner. 

Even if he wanted to go, it couldn't be now. As for those God-Rank artifacts, a million years was an unimaginable amount of time. What was the likelihood of them not having been plucked already?

Unless there was an inheritance allowing him to increase his cultivation speed by several folds, that place didn't hold much appeal for him. 

"What are you thinking about?"

Jasmine asked, following the long moment of silence. While Konrad indulged in his discussion with the system, to the onlooker, he seemed lost in thoughts. Jasmine, who remained by his side, assumed he was weighing the pros and cons of the trip.

Although she didn't have a good understanding of the Tower of Rebirth, it was, after all, a destination handpicked by the Holy Consort for Konrad's growth. How could it be simple? 

"If you don't feel confident, you can just forget about it. It's not like she can force you into stepping into that place."

"I fear nothing within heaven and earth. However, the premise is that there is enough benefit to plunder. It's improbable for that place to hold enough for me."

Jasmine nodded in approval. Although she also had no knowledge of the system, with Konrad's exceptional growth pace, the tower really didn't seem like such a good idea. At the very least, they could wait until he stepped into the Semi-Holy Rank to head into there. 

However, there was something else she'd yet to say.

"She also wanted me to tell you that back when she'd just stepped into the Transcendent Rank, Yvonne Voight went to the Tower of Rebirth. What level she stopped at is unknown to all, but following her return, the world no longer had anyone capable of holding her shoes."

"Oh?"

Since Jasmine had mentioned the tower, Konrad had suspected such development. Therefore, he wasn't that surprised, and it didn't much affect his plans. Yvonne remained his prime target. The key to his fast rise within the holy continent.  

"Let's forget about that place for now."

Dawn had risen, declaring the beginning of another day. Konrad summoned Ralph and Alan, his two eunuch servants, within the greeting hall. He kept Jasmine by his side to remind them that within the inner court, she was one of his most trusted.

Quick-witted, they understood the meaning. 

"Boss, here are the gains from the low-level Grand Spiritual Cultivation Method Sales!"

Ralph declared while presenting a purple card toward Konrad. 

"There are more than 100,000 purple crystals stored within. For such a large transaction, we had to open a bank account. However, that account is on your name."

Ralph didn't dare open an account on his name for Konrad's transactions. Even if Konrad punished him for his impertinence, without his direct order, he didn't have the balls to do so.

He'd much rather open an account in Konrad's name then accept punishment if need be.

Konrad had to admit this was a result of his own negligence. When he escorted Iliana back to house Kracht, he'd not expected the trip to take such a long time. Therefore, his arrangements with the two eunuchs were not foolproof. 

Fortunately, a bank account with one-hundred-thousand purple crystals wasn't enough for his name to echo within the inner court. To say nothing of the Holy Flame City. 

The main quest could carry on. 

"As the master, my instructions weren't sufficiently precise and forced you into making a choice of your own. That is my mistake, I cannot blame you for it."

Konrad's words relieved the two of all their fears. Fortunately, their boss wasn't a mindless despot. Otherwise, the situation could have easily turned into their funeral. 

"I called you here for another task. Freely use this wealth to buy the loyalty of low and mid-level eunuchs. The more, the better. Then gather them to open an underground chamber of commerce, to trade in goods otherwise forbidden by the inner court's laws.

I will provide you with the goods. 

Also, have Hans handle the operations. I will give you up to fifteen thousand purple crystals to purchase his loyalty, in particular."

Hans was a man of high aspirations. Following their previous deal, he exchanged what he gained from Konrad for a True Flame Baptism and broke for the True Knight Rank. 

Afterward, he was promoted to head-eunuch. Better than anyone, he knew that dealing with Konrad came with huge benefits and assumed it all possessed the empress' backing. 

As long as Ralph and Alan were crafty enough, they shouldn't need many resources to have him cooperate. 

As for the fifteen thousand purple crystal limit, for the current Konrad, it was not worth mentioning.

The eunuch duo nodded and excused themselves. 

With that settled, Konrad packed Jasmine in his space mansion and headed to the empress' palace. 

As per Verena's orders, while she prepared a position for him within Yvonne's palace, he was tasked with serving her tea and massages. This was a position many could only dream of. However, as far as Konrad was concerned, it was highly demeaning, and he fully intended to use it to reverse the tables. 

He still recalled the tea smell he'd felt when he'd first returned. Then, he didn't have enough to explore it, but now, perhaps he could use his new functions to thoroughly analyze it and obtain something of use. Upon reaching Verena's palace, Konrad was directly led to her chambers where she awaited alongside her personal attendants. 

"Greetings, your majesty!"

"Dismissed."

Verena ordered toward her attendants as soon as Konrad stepped in. Similar to well-programmed robots, they curtsied and excused themselves. Leaving the two alone. 

"Ready for your first day of hard work?"

"I was a kitchen eunuch until now. Why would I not be?"

Konrad replied, causing Verena's full lips to curl into an enchanting smile.

"Head toward the kitchen, and follow the instructions."

Begrudgingly, Konrad stepped toward the empress' personal kitchen department and received the tea meant for her delight.

Again, the same smell assaulted his nostrils. But this time, due to being so close to it, the effect was much stronger. 

As he walked back toward Verena's palace, Konrad could barely endure it.

"What the hell is this scent?"

He wondered while stepping toward her chambers.

"A potent sterility medicine effective even on Saints. Your incubus lineage makes you sensitive to it."

Konrad's eyes widened in stupor, and his eyes fell upon the teacup beneath his chest.

"Come again?"

Government intelligence agencies realized that Konrad, the world’s number one wife robber, was endowed with a supreme weapon allowing him to turn the purest of maidens into hungry beasts: The Golden Rod!

Eager to obtain that marvelous weapon for their own nefarious purposes, powerful politicians send their teams after him, hoping to capture and analyze the rod. Konrad was chased from one corner of the world to another and ultimately cornered. But in a fit of fury, he chose to destroy what they worked so hard to obtain!

“Screw your ten thousand ancestors! Only I can wield the golden rod! Since you want it so badly, then fetch its remains!”

He howled as he aimed a gun at the golden rod. But suddenly, the sky darkened, and purple lightning struck him from above.

“Fool! This is a national treasure! Who gave you the right to harm it?”

The Happiness God roared in indignation while sending Konrad into reincarnation. 

“This time put the treasure to better use. Complete all the quests, and I might even let you enjoy the sweet fruits of paradise!”

“God, I won’t disappoint you!” 

Happiness God even gave him a tailor-made system. But there was one problem, he was reborn in the body of a half-incubus eunuch caned to death for offending the emperor’s favorite consort!

*YIKES*

A new dilemma had arisen in Lian's neighboring empire. Empress Dowager Zhao Xian, engulfed in anger, summoned the chief magician of the magic tower, Jo Naam, and the last two known witches on the continent; Scala Elfman and Ellen Trudy.
The problem itself arose more than two months ago, when Alpha Kramer, the last and oldest oracle, passed away, leaving behind a series of prophecies with apocalyptic overtones. He announced the change of the world in the opposite direction to the established one, the beginning of a war against the greatest known enemy, "Alerón", which would leave an endless desert in its wake, and with the rebirth of the guardian star, the death of the dowager empress would come in the hands of the bringer of dusk.

With their souls in their hands, they tried to figure out what the hell the message meant. They hidden the death of the oracle and, make it known until after a couple of months to avoid panic in the population. Although the first two prophecies could be understood due to the direction that the actions of the reigning governments were taking, the last two did not show any certainty. The high priest of the temple of Yi, trying to appease the fury of the empress, presented him with the hidden files on the star and the Duskbringer

The star will awaken in case Aleron shows the claws and the Duskbringer would be a man who would follow her. Someone of royal and divine blood related to the imperial house. Xian could not believe that someone of her own lineage would dare to murder her, for her it was impossible. She concealed the fact that the late emperor was impotent due to trauma and that the children she and the concubines had were from her lovers, but not from the emperor. The entire haren had conceived women and the long-awaited male never arrived. Xian knew it couldn't be true, unless her daughters turned into men overnight to kill her.

The answer to that question was brought up by the prime minister, brother of the late emperor. When he was a prince, his brother had had an affair many years ago with an unknown woman who disappeared without a trace. The emperor of that time ordered to close the mouth of whatever servant or civilian crossed him due to the rumor that that woman was carrying the prince's son. And as if it were a curse, the future emperor was left powerless and everyone in the imperial family conceived women since then.

If that rumor was true, the worst lay outside. There was someone who would claim Xian's head sooner or later and this fact would not let her live in peace until the day of her death. She sent trackers and hunters to locate the witches and asked for them to solve her problem, but when everything was going smoothly, her frontier was attacked by cannibal creatures that were getting closer and closer.

A blinding, iridescent light shattered the target of destruction, and within minutes, life was presented in all its glory. The injured and sick people were healed, the barren fields and lands that were touched by the light became more fertile. The light was attributed to the goddess Yi, while in the palace, Xian trembled with rage and fear. The prophecies were fulfilled in a chain, after this attack nothing would be the same, Aleron was responsible for starting a hunt against her and the star had awakened, it only remained for the last piece to be presented: The Dusk bringer

The audience in front of the empress took place a month and a half after the attack. Jo had arrived early to report the entry of spies from the Bellafiore kingdom, sent by King Oscar. They came quietly looking for someone and after being interrogated under torture they confessed that they needed the saint to find the star, since she was the only one who could annihilate Aleron and heal the world after the war. Xian found such information useful and set out to find the saint before King Oscar.

After that, in the great hall, hundreds of swallows and crows entered through the windows and unfolded a turbulent flight to finish forming female figures. Among the curtain of swallows, a woman with brown hair and orange eyes dressed in a gray jumpsuit and rain boots, looked with disgust at those present at the meeting. Scala combed her hair with her fingers as she waited for the ravens to finish their show and bring out her partner.
After the show, Ellen wore a black feathered dress and carried a small owl on her shoulders. Scala watched the new member at the reunion and scoffed at Ellen, who was studying her with her gaze. Xian received them and began with the explanations and requests. She was practically asking for the same thing as King Oscar and his unhinged entourage. When Xian brought up the Duskbringer issue, Ellen looked suspiciously at the Empress and ended up smiling mockingly.
Now he understood why the late Jian had asked him to curse the Zhao family and his now widow Xian. She was an ambitious and cruel woman who would go to the last consequences to destroy her enemy, while his family had no scruples to achieve her goals.

Ellen sighed with relief that she had found Albert and Olivia in time, for had she been delayed one more time, the widow of their late grandfather would have murdered them again. Siri, who already controlled her magic, angrily gazed at the dire reunion that pointed to her family on her grandmother's shoulder. She now she will not rest until ending those who want to harm them and would help Albert to advance in his training.

By this point in the party, almost all the leaders of neighboring countries already knew of King Oscar's intentions regarding the search for the saint. Finding the saint is equivalent to finding the star and with it, the beginning of a war with subsequent destruction could be classified as a trifle, since the rebirth of life was possible again with the power granted by the star. Nothing could stop them if they seized such power, even attacking and seizing neighboring lands could be possible.

In the republic of Green Hollow, the land of elves, goblins and orcs. President Ubach Nephil was visited by two masters from the Wei temple, who came to discuss the matter of the star and the saint. They urged Ubach to make an immediate search for the saint. He did not deny that the saint could be found in his country and doubled the budget for raking and, as if copying Oscar's actions, he decided to carry out a national census.

The same was happening in the kingdom of Sweet Flower, Hellyt and the principality of Shallan, who enthusiastically joined the race against time to see who found the saint first. Their respective temples and magical towers were responsible for fueling the fire, causing more than one leader to become paranoid about the issues of a future war that no one had yet formally declared.

Scuti was immersed in her thoughts after mentally communicating with Siri, when Albert called her to eat. Although his cousin had not yet recovered all the memories, he was reluctant to abandon his position as guardian of the saint and escort of the stars. He had an ingrained feeling of responsibility and therefore he always cared for his family.

-Albert, do you think you can use the mjolnir when you wake up? - Scuti was remembering his sister's comment

-I'm sure if. The day will come when I will kill that dog and her offspring. I will not fail- Albert was frustrated remembering bits and pieces of his past.

The children prepare to eat hoping that Ellen will return soon with Siri.

My life has been hell since I was a child. My stepparents gave me a man who never loved me even though he longed for his company.

He abandoned me for his mistress who was the legitimate daughter of the family that raised me. They both sent me to prison where I was tortured to death.

Luckily I escaped but I was betrayed again on more than one occasion. My destiny was death. Without love, without trust, only the cold snow around me condemned me. My only wish was to be able to live far from everyone, alone and without risk of being killed.

When I woke up, I was in the body of the Marquis's daughter, who would have a worse future than mine. I can only run away and avoid being killed.

The Empress came back to her senses hearing the woman's voice. "Bianka."

"Yeah yeah! Sorry to interrupt your moment of sorrows but someone have to do a job here." Bianka threw a sarcastic remark like the woman sitting in front of her wasn't the mother of the empire. She sat down in one of the luxurious and exotic sofa, crossing her leg, acting like she owns the place while maintaining her elegance. 

Putting her wine glass down, she stands up and walk over to the woman then sitting down in the sofa next to her. "You're blunt as ever Bianka." She smiled wryly.

"Is it about her again?" Bianka asked casually.

The Empress body stiffened at the question but before she can anything, Bianka already sat down in her lap which made her surprised but she didn't mind about it. 

Bianka inched her face closer and whispered through smoky voice. "Want me to help you forget her?" The Empress didn't answer her question as she aggressively kissed Bianka in her lips which she responded back with her tongue penetrating in her mouth.

The mood between quickly got heated and sounds of moans and pleasures can be heard inside the imperial study room. The maids outside clearly heard them as they flushed red, standing awkwardly outside of the room while the two women inside busy in their lovemaking session.

Thirty-five years ago....

During the Cold War between the Unified States of Asniena and Union of Socialist Ruskistan Republic, the Graiguany Kingdom was in a Civil War. 

It all started from Weißenborn Uprising on 16th August of 2020. It was the day the remnants of the Imperial Faction ignited the hopes and ambitions of the Graiguan people to rise up again and free themselves from foreign power.

They also sought to take back the throne from the Fake King and his corrupt nobles and the rightful heir of the throne shall lead them to freedom and prosperity.

And that rightful heir was none other than Laura Riesch from the fallen Main House of Riesch.

After several years of fighting, the Graiguan Civil War ended in imperial faction's victory. 

Citizens of the Graiguany Kingdom took the streets of Bürlein Capital and celebrated their victory with festive traditions. 

Weeks after their victory, the official enthronement ceremony finally began, signalling the end of the Graiguany Kingdom and rebirth of the Graiguany Empire. 

In her speech, Empress Riesch mentioned all of her ideals for her country and make it come true. She revealed that she already formulated a plan to make it all reality under the name of Program Heimdallr. The meaning of the name of the program is 'the one who illuminates the world' which is she claimed that she will be the one that will bring her country to its former glory which she successfully did in the near future. 

She explained the nature and objectives of Program Heimdallr. The program itself consist of Six Phases which would be strictly followed by the new imperial government. 

Phase One was a procedure of bringing total control of the government and the state. Under this procedure, Empress Riesch rapidly established a totalitarian regime known as First Kaiserin Reich. She purged all people that opposed her and spreading propaganda subtlety among the citizens. 

Apart of cleaning operations(purge), the deportation of immigrants settled in the empire both legally and illegally and refugees who was barred in the borders was part of Phase One. The Wehrmacht was deployed to control the situation bringing them into newly built Evacuation Centers for the immigrants and refugees. 

Empress Riesch was well-aware the situation in the Middle East which was still in the middle of never-ending war so she thought of initiating Plan Wüstenparadies. 

Plan Wüstenparadies is a resettlement project for the immigrants and refugees that have been in the empire both legally and illegally that will eventually be sent back to their homeland by the Wehrmacht. 

To make this plan work, she would have to engage peace talks with the leaders of different middle eastern countries, persuading them to agree to their plan of building a city free from political and religious disagreements. 

It took her three months to finally made them convinced of building the safe haven city which will be known as Alsalam Kabytal. 

The Plan Wüstenparadies was revealed to the public, explaining further details about the nature of the project which resulted of gaining public support from all around the world. 

United Nation along with other nongovernment organizations took part in the project making more progress in building the city of haven. 

Before the evacuation, immigrants and refugees was carefully screened one by one before allowing them to board a flight or sail back to middle east. 

The immigrants and refugees are well-aware of Plan Wüstenparadies and they were happy about it, knowing they finally can live peace without worrying about dangers of the war. 

The Graiguany Empire will of course assist of establishing a new government in the City of Haven and its own military force. 

Advisors of each imperial ministry will stay in City of Haven to create and support the locals maintaining peace and order in the capital. Also, Wehrmacht send Task Force Charlotte for the creation of Capital Defense Force of City of Haven. They will also supply weapons and armaments for the next five years to properly organise the newly created military force. 

It took six months to finish mass deportation and the City of Haven firmly stabilised its foundations despite of suffering from many difficulties. 

Finally, Phase One have been completed and Phase Two officially began. The procedure this time was to reform the state to its full extent. 

Empress Riesch invested heavily in three main sectors of the country, medical, education and technological advancements. 

Since the aftermath of the Graiguan Civil War, the people gradually felt the changes and its positive effects to their daily life. 

She took five years to transform the country back into its former glory from centuries ago.

For five years, the empire prospered and life's became easier making the citizens happy, forgetting their violent past. 

But the happiness are shortlive when the Graiguany Empire received an actionable intel of Ruskians and Huaxian suspicious activities for the last few months. 

Having informed to the situation, Empress Riesch ordered to initiate Phase Three of Program Heimdallr. 

Under the supervision of both Ministry of Social Welfare and Wehrmacht, they recruited many people coming from homeless shelters, orphanages, job hunt conventions and other places that sources of manpower. 

The Ministry of Social Welfare separately offered them benefits first then Wehrmacht will followed their lead, giving benefits based on the ranks. This leads to accumulation of two million troops and a creation of National Guard called 'Landwehr'. The purpose of this new branch of military is to protect the citizens within the country. Basically, they are the last defense of the military force. 

Wehrmacht also have further accumulated to five million troops which combined with the new recruits, active duties and the reserves. 

In preparation of the inevitable invasion, Empress Riesch ordered a full mobilisation under the guise of massive military exercise as a precaution of maintaining the empire's military strength and mobility. She also reactivated all of the former old military bases from the First Great War. 

Modernization of the Imperial Armed Forces also a part of Phase Three so both the Landwehr and Wehrmacht have been exposed to advanced technological weaponries and armaments. It became a problem though familiarising an unfamiliar things.

On 1st of September 2035, the Union of Ruskistan Socialist Republic attacked the Eastern Eucirera on four different directions. 

The Army Group D attacked Fobrana Kingdom with their horde of infantry troops and medium tanks supported by both the Ruskian airforce and Ruskian Navy. While the three army groups attacked the Eastern Eucirera, focusing their overwhelming force to the center.

Their tactics was still the same old tactics used during the First Great War, attacking with overwhelming force accompanied by airforce and mobile artillery units.

Because of the sudden invasion and their overwhelming force, countries in Eastern Eucirera have fallen within a month. 

The Graiguany Empire managed to stop the overwhelming and agile advances of the mighty ruskian army. 

Thanks to the Imperial Intelligence Service, they managed to get an actionable intel about the Ruskian's military movements before the invasion and have prepared a firm defensive lines along the Aspya Sea to the border of Proeze Republic and Espya States. 

Though, Landwehr barely managed to stop their advance, suffering several hundred casualties before the reinforcements from the Wehrmacht arrive. 

Series of intense battles happened in the vicinity of the borders of Proeze Republic, Aegrutisia Kingdom and Cruxokya Kingdom. 

With such extreme heavy firepower being hurled at them, both the Landwehr are barely holding on to the defensive lines. 

The Kriegsmarine also didn't have any luck as they were always being swarmed by Ruskian naval multirole aircrafts, ships and submarines. They couldn't keep up with such many ships being deployed. Thankfully, navy ships from the Northern Kingdoms have rendezvous with them earlier, continuing their fight with different tactics to the Ruskian Navy at bay.

Four years have passed and the war was over with the Allies victory. 

The aftermath of the Second Great War didn't affect the Graiguany Empire much and they be able to recover faster than their neighbouring countries which made the world impressed on Empress Riesch capabilities in ruling the country.

Since the war happened, Empress Riesch had to take extra steps on Program Heimdallr.

Phase Two was initiated again and Phase Three becoming more active as they tried to rebuild their homeland.

Phase Four also came into play. Advanced Technology slowly made their way into the life of graiguan citizens of the Empire.

This time, there's another event that the citizens are celebrating. Its the wedding ceremony of their beloved mother of the empire. 

Her husband, the Imperial Prince Consort was a kind and considerate man despite of being a nobility, he rather much spent time with the common people and contribute to the society by helping people in need.
