"A-anong g-ginagawa mo?" nauutal na tanong niya dito pero hindi ito sumagot at mas lalo pang lumapit sa kaniya. Napigil niya ang hininga niya ng hapitin ng binata ang bewang niya tsaka inilapit ang mukha nito sa kaniya.






"I'm just bored baby, kaya ko sinabi na girlfriend kita. Hindi mo naman kailangan seryusohin 'yon e. Pero kung gusto mo, pwedi natin 'yong gawing official" Malokong saad ng binata.

**RICHARD'S POV** 

My eyeballs were about to pop out of their socket, due to the dare I was given. Obviously I was the king of dares, but Stein was a stone-hearted player. 

He used, and dumped women. Kyla was a boring, and plain girl. She would never catch his attention. I can't do this dare. 

"I can't…" I said and everyone in the room gasped. 

There was a first time for everything. This was the time when Richard Lockwood turned down a dare. It barely counted as a dare, more like mission impossible. 

Joanna had another plot. She made me a pawn in a much bigger game. 

**Kyla's POV** 

My head was in a turmoil. Several thoughts ran through at the same time. 

Joanna over heard our conversation earlier and figured this was the perfect way to get back at us, pin us against each other, and destroy us from within. 

If this Richard guy took the dare, it would indirectly mean being pushed to love the guy my best friend was crazy over. 

No way I could ever try to pacify her, so she won't feel bad. The thought of it already hurt. 

 There was only one option, one thing to do: me backing out of the game. 

I mean, Richard can't try to make me fall in love with someone if I don't want to right? 

The group of students present had not dropped any thoughts on the dare. 

I was still in deep thoughts when someone spoke up. 

"I can't." 

At first, I thought I didn't hear properly until students began to whisper among themselves. 

"He never turns down a dare." 

"He accepts the blowjob, so why can't he do this? He's scared?" 

I listened to their thoughts, and it registered that the voice belonged to Richard. A light in the deep tunnel. If he wasn't going to do it, I did not need to worry. 

One look at Riley and I tore my gaze back. 

She looked angry. Really, furious. 

"That's not possible Richard, you always go through with a dare." 

"Yeah man and I actually like this one." 

Stein said making me shift back. I didn't dare to look at Riley. 

"I'm not going to make a fool out of myself for thirty days in a mission impossible." 

"How sure are you that I won't fall? She's beautiful." 

He complimented, Riley squirmed besides me. I need to put an end to this. 

"You see Richard, so it's a dare?" 

The grin plastered on Joanna's face was glaring. 

"I guess so." 

Richard stated and finally took a look at me. For a few seconds his gaze was all I can meet. Then, I quickly remember my best friend and her pains. 

"You're all making dares about me when I won't even do it in the first place." 

I spat out with an angry look. 

"Buzz kill…" 

Some students mocked. If only they knew how little I cared. 

"You can make your dare but leave me out of it. I'm not interested." 

I added in a firm tone. 

"Actually, that's the point of everything. Getting you interested. The bet isn't necessarily about you per se. It's like when guys make bets about girls. The bet is about you, and Stein, but you can't oppose as you're not the one doing it. In fact, you can't do anything. We both know the only reason you're even saying anything is to try to be a good friend. Everyone knows you'll fall for Stein before it's over." 

She cackled afterwards, Riley got up and stormed out of the room. Joanna's words must have taken roots in her mind. 

"I'm not falling in love with anyone. Like I said, keep me out of your dare. I'm not interested, pick another dare but leave me alone!" 

I exclaimed before running after her. She can't seriously let Joanna get to her. She's spouting rubbish as always. I'm not going to fall for my best friend's crush. 

We've been friends since kindergarten. 

I finally caught up to her trying to get a drink. 

"Riley, wait please." 

"What do you want Kyla? Go back to your game." 

She shoved me slightly. 

"You don't seriously believe what they're saying in there. I thought you knew me better, I'm your best friend. I would never fall in love with a guy you love." 

"Right, that's what I said too actually...." 

She trailed off chuckling. 

"But you know what? When the heart opens up, there's nothing we can do." 

"I promise you, I won't fall for him." 

I reassured hoping I could still reach my best friend. 

"Okay Kyla, let's say I believe you. I trust you and you're my best friend. You don't fall in love with him, what's the assurance he won't fall for you. You're perfect." 

She snorted. I couldn't give an answer, at least not a one hundred percent honest one, but I was not perfect. 

She scoffed, after my pause. 

"You know what Kyla? I felt tonight was it. My night, I never would've taken you with me, you ruined everything. I hoped for a perfect next. Too bad. Thanks a lot best friend." 

She mocked, grabbed the bottle and walked away. Hot tears stung my eyes and rolled freely down my cheeks, at the middle of the dance floor where everyone was having such a good time.

 So from last night, Lyn couldn't stop thinking about Devon's text; '..let's just see how close it takes for us to be..' and she blushed the more she thought about it, completely forgetting about her dare.
However, her blissful moments did not last long, for soon, Devon reminded her of her dare and being fair, he will of course make Lyn complete her dare too.

"Hey remember the dare you're supposed to do?"

The moment Devon mentioned 'the dare', Lyn's face fell. To think she had actually forgotten about it and only thought of what Devon meant by his text..
Ahhh Lyn you're so dumb! 

"uhh what's my dare again?" She did not really remember it for she was so afraid of her secret and curse that time that she paid no attention to the dare. Yet, she had a bad feeling about it..

"You have to shout [I'M A CRAZY LUNATIC THAT IS IN LOVE WITH DEVON!] "

Devon's mouth curved upwards as he answered. If you actually remembered, the initial dare was to shout 'I'm a crazy lunatic that is in love with Greggy's hair' but seeing that Lyn had no recollection of her dare, Devon decided to changed it to his name. 
I mean, who wouldn't like hearing someone confessing their love to you?
Be it a forced or sincere one, Devon still felt good at the thought having Lyn let the whole world know that she is in love with him. After all, if you're gonna wait for a sincere confession, it's very likely that you could die waiting for it and not even get a single confession like this for such confessions takes a lot of courage. Without a little push like a dare, it's extremely difficult to hear a confession from someone, much less to shout out loud.

wh..what? Did I actually agreed to this? Lyn had a weird feeling when she heard the dare she was supposed to do. It sounds wrongly right but also rightly wrong yet, she don't know what was wrong. Poor Lyn! Just how many times did she get tricked by Devon?

"Why are u hesitating? I already did my dare and truth so you should do it too!" Devon sounded like she was trying to make him do all the truth and dare yet get away with it during her turn, making Lyn feel bad as she did harbour such intentions.

Yet, his words also gave Lyn a further push to having the courage to do the dare. 

Taking a deep breathe, Lyn shouted "I-I'm a crazy lunatic...that is..
she gulped before finishing the hardest words
..in love with Devon!" By the time she finished her dare, buckets of sweats were rolling down her forehead. Devon, on the other hand, was pleased with everyone's reaction.
The whole class, with the exception of Devon, looked at her like they couldn't believe what Lyn just said when they heard her sudden confession, not knowing that it's a dare. 

"Uhh that's..a line from our storyline" Lyn randomly blurted out, trying to convince everyone without revealing that its a dare since you are not supposed to do a dare and reveal its a dare. If not, where's the fun in dares? Luckily, it is Literature now so everyone was convinced by Lyn.
But now, Lyn and Devon have to find a way to include that line when they do the script.

"That sounds interesting! Can you show us the script?" Mr Zin asked with enthusiasm, clearly interested in what Lyn said, although the script did not exist..yet.

Mr Zin's request was so out of the blue, Lyn did not see it coming. At a loss, both Lyn and Devon looked at each other. After exchanging glances, they had an idea.

"Mr Zin, Lyn is too shy to let anyone see the script, even me!" Devon lamented

"ya..can I show y'all only when its done?" Lyn chimed in, grateful for Devon's help

"..Fine, but you have to finish by this week" Mr Zin said reluctantly

Oh great..ahh Lyn why did you say that??? she scolded herself, regretting what she said
Seeing Lyn talking to herself angrily, Devon had the urge to video her actions for it's quite amusing and out of so many people, how many can actually look cute when they're angry? To Devon, only Lyn can portray anger cutely and such moments needs to be recorded. After all, Lyn, too did similar things to him - she doodled him when he's angry so this is just a small revenge.
Actually, Devon wanted Lyn to realise she was being filmed yet she was oblivious to her surroundings, her mind thinking of the script that was due this week yet she has yet to work on it.
Suddenly, as though she remembered something, she turned swiftly to face Devon, shocking him as he did not expect Lyn to move anytime soon.

"Dear lord! You almost made me get a heart attack!" Devon grumbled, half annoyed, half shocked.

"Oh really? Hehe sorry I didn't mean to scare you like that but you look hilarious when you're shocked!" Lyn apologised in a not serious tone, clearly not sorry at all.

But what comes around, goes around. Since Devon tried videoing Lyn's angry yet cute gesture, being shocked by her sudden turn is merely his karma.

"Anyway, why did you turn your head suddenly?" Devon's question brought Lyn back to her objective

"Just want to ask you to help me with the scriptwriting. You'll help me won't ya?" Lyn asked, batting her eyelashes, hoping it will make Devon agree. Although it was not solo work, it was not pair work either so its up to Devon to help her.

"Hmmph!" Devon did not agree nor disagree, merely showing that he's displeased.
If Lyn did not turn around so suddenly and shocked Devon, he'd probably agree but since Devon was annoyed that he not only got shocked by her, the video that he was taking also got deleted when he accidentally pressed the delete button due to shock, he was leaning towards not helping her.

Seeing that Devon is unwilling to help, Lyn had to use the last resort.
"Pleasee? I'll do anything if you help."

"Anything?" Devon raised an eye brow, not really convinced

"yes, anything!" 

"no expiry date?" He inquired again. After being (almost) tricked by Lyn many times, he became more cautious.

"yes, the offer stands for as long as you want so long you help me first" Lyn agreed as long as she does not make a loss.

"Okay, I'll help. You can come to my place to discuss whenever you want" he replied cooly after knowing that he won't make a loss. But if Lyn tricked him again, he swore that that will be the last straw.

Characters in this novel can really forget or pretend to forget about events. Just who's lying and who's telling the truth? You never know. However, one thing's for sure - Lyn have a curse with guys. When she gets too close to one, the guy will suddenly forget everything about her during the moments that they grow close. However, thats not all..?

Lily shouted angrily, "It's him. This pervert walked into the female toilet, so you should give him a lesson, or he will do that again" Then Lily hurriedly ran away since it was better to keep distance with such bad students.
 
The arrogant boy was shocked and pointed at Kevin, "Which class are you from? Even my brother doesn't dare to enter the female toilet, how dare you? You' ye offended my sister—in—law, I must help her vent anger."
Kevin said, "You're unreasonable. I entered the toilet first"

Suddenly the arrogant boy was slapped away by Kevin. The arrogant boy hurriedly looked up at Kevin in pain. Kevin snorted, "You pipsqueak wants to bully me? You overestimate yourself!"

Kevin slapped him again and the arrogant boy flew up with his head hit against the ceiling and then fell down.

Kevin left He had seen so many hooligans like the arrogant boy. The arrogant boy looked at Kevin quizzically. Didn't Kevin know who his brother was?
Kevin felt pity that Lily was the boy's sister—in—law. Lily was as beautiful as his junior sister apprentice Fiona.
 
Then Kevin extremely wanted to return to his world. The people in this world were very unreasonable and uninteresting. Kevin went back to class room. He was not used to this unfamiliar place andreally hoped to return to his world, but no miracle occurred.
 
Kevin was extremely depressed, thinking that he would rather be captured by his mentor's wife. The bell rang soon. This class was a self—study class that everyone studied quietly. Kevin could not return to his world, so he only accepted the reality and looked through the books and notebooks in his drawer in order to know more about this world. If he couldn't return, he only lived in this strange place. Fortunately, he could understood the words of this world.
 
At this moment, a super beautiful girl walked into his class and said loudly, "Who is Kevin? Stand up"

Kevin did not react at first because his original name wasn't Kevin. The girl shouted again, "Kevin, you toad stand up." Only then did Kevin realize that she was calling him because all classmates were looking at him. Kevin stood up, puzzled. Shirley suddenly kicked Kevin, but she wore a dress today. Seeing that, Kevin quickly grabbed Shirley's foot.

Shirley's dress was instantly torn, revealing her safety pants.

There was no immediate reply of course. I was not expecting it either. After all, it was freaking 1:45 am in the morning!

The game of truth and dare continued for a few minutes after this and I eventually forgot all about the text...until I woke up after a few hours to a very horrifying reply from the number:

Well, isn't it obvious? An awesome body beneath these layers of clothing.

The blizzard continued for another three days. In that time I stayed out of Mariela's way and she never called for me so I assumed she was still processing what had happened and was trying to figure out what to do alongside her husband. 

With no one able to enter or exit the palace due to the snow, I wasn't even expected to have tea with anyone since neither the queen nor Rosenia were interested in me when not keeping up appearances in front of other nobility. 

Al and I were left entirely to our own devices, which got very, very boring. 

We built about fifty card houses, played more than a dozen rounds of every game I had taught him, read books until our eyes glazed over, and went to the kitchens for treats twice. 

I really wanted to talk to Marcy about what she knew regarding the palace's inner network but I would need to do that when no one else was around. 

There had to be a way to meet her alone outside of the kitchen. 

Maybe I could try and find her the next time Al took a bath. This was a conversation I did not want him to be a part of. 

She was a good actress, I'd give her that. Both times we met her Marcy was bright, cheery, and chatted lightheartedly like the incident had never happened. 

None of the other kitchen staff thought our interactions were strange either. Good. I hadn't blown it. 

If I did nothing else in this world, I had to at the very least make sure the commoners got representatives in the court. 

That was the biggest plot point other than the romance. And honestly, I didn't know if it was even possible to make that happen anymore. 

I was nearly certain Al was in love with me by now. His overprotectiveness after I found out what sorts of things went on during power struggles in the palace kind of clinched it for me. 

He said he couldn't bear to lose me. If that's not love…

In order to figure out how to proceed from here I needed to know how he felt. 

If he truly was in love with me, wouldn't it be cruel to try and push him onto another woman? I would have to find another way. What that other way was…I had no idea. 

Playing Truth or Dare ought to do the trick. I hadn't done this since a sleepover when I was in sixth grade. 

I didn't want to tell who I had a crush on because his twin sister was present so I did the dare and got mayonnaise smeared all over my face. 

I nearly puked from the smell. They didn't have mayonnaise here so I should be safe. 

I explained the rules to him and he seemed intrigued since he was just as bored as I was. 

"You go first, show me how it works."

"Okay…pick either Truth or Dare."

"Truth."

"What is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?" I asked.

"Sigmund dunked my head into a bowl of soup when no one was looking during a banquet when I was ten. A piece of carrot got up my nose and the doctor had to extract it in front of everyone. Is that the sort of thing you're looking for?"

So he was always evil. Figures. "Yeah. That's pretty terrible though."

He shrugged. "That sort of thing happened all the time. No need worrying about it now. Truth or Dare?"

"Dare," I said confidently. 

Telling the truth here was nearly impossible with all the secrets I was keeping. 

"I dare you to drink an entire pot of jasmine tea," Al said with a wicked glint in his eyes. 

While I was horrified at the prospect of choking down that much tea, I couldn't deny that he really understood the spirit of Truth or Dare. I made a bunch of inhuman faces but did as I was told. 

We went back and forth for a while like that. Al varied his choices but I consistently picked dare. 

I found out that his weirdest childhood habit was wearing his pants backwards and that he could do a handstand for a full minute. 

He made me shove an entire éclair in my mouth in one bite and spin for five minutes straight. 

Now that he was warmed up, the next time he chose Truth I asked my loaded question. 

I didn't want to make it too obvious so I used my head. Marcy was his first love in the novel. 

Since I had sort of taken her place, I figured it was better to ask "what is the name of your first love?" than "are you in love with me?" 

Surprise lit his eyes for a split second before he ran a hand through his hair in agitation. 

"You tricked me into playing this. This was what you really wanted to know all along, wasn't it?"

I hadn't expected him to see right through me. 

"Answer the question Al. If you back out, the dare is for you to run out into the blizzard barefoot for a whole minute."

It was obvious he was debating which was the lesser of two evils. 

All this time he kept playing the friend card, presumably so he wouldn't scare me off. Our deal didn't include romance. 

He teased me about our marital status occasionally but wasn't willing to push it because he had promised me that he only wanted someone to keep him from going crazy with boredom and I was holding him to it. 

Eventually he held up his hands in surrender though his face was redder than a cherry tomato. 

"Fine. My first love was a radiantly silly debutante who offered to run away with me after we had only met twice by the name of Katie du Pont. Happy?"

I rocked back slightly from my position cross-legged on the floor and pointed at him accusingly. This was one instance where I wasn't happy about being right. 

"I knew it! You liar, you never wanted friendship from me!"

He decided to spend the night after me constantly begging and him finally realizing he was to cross faded to leave. After the party us four decided to go up to my room. Carson laid in my lap and Harmony in Veronica's. 
     "We should play truth or dare." Harmony said super excited. 
     "Ooh yeah we totally should." Carson said so happy. 
     "Who starts?" said Veronica. 
     "I will, Carson truth or dare?" I said.
     "Dare." 
     "I dare you to kiss V." 
     "That's so lame Blake. We have done this so many times just to fool my parents." said Veronica. 
     Carson got up out of my lap and Harmony moved. He put one leg on each side of her and say on her lap. He used one finger to gently tilt her face up and kissed her. 
     "Oh no now I'm going to so gay. I got gay germs." Veronica said. We all started laughing so hard. 
     "Truth or dare V?" asked Carson. 
     "Truth." 
     "Is it true you and Alex slept together at camp." 
     "Carson you asshole."

     "Yes I slept with Alex but it was a one time thing and we all have moved past it. Now look at this hot ass momma I got." She twirled Harmony back into her lap and kissed her. "Truth or dare baby?"

     Harmony did what I never thought harmony would do. She grabbed Veronica's throat and chin and gently yet forcefully pulled her to her face where they were almost about to kiss. "Damn right I love you baby girl." She kissed her and then let her go. "Truth or dare Blake." 
     "Before he answers that can you do that me holy shit." Carson interrupted. 
     "Dare." 
     "No more petty little shit. I dare you to what I just did to Carson but better." 
     I stood up and faced Carson. I grabbed his throat and used my index and thumb to tilt his head up. With my other hand I grabbed his thigh and pulled him into me. I leaned into his ear and whispered, "Daddy has you don't he baby." As I moved my head away I geny bite his ear. I kissed his jaw until I got to his lips. When I kissed his lips I gently bite his bottom lip. As I let him go and sat down he was blushing to much. He was as red as a beautiful rose. He sat down next to me and hugged my arm as he leaned on me. "How was that?" 
     "Holy shit I think you turned me on as well." said Veronica
     "Hey that's my job and only my job." 
     "I know baby I just love making you squirm."
     "Veronica truth or dare?" 
     "Truth." 
     "Do your parents know about you two?" 
     "Okay so me and Harmony tried to tell them but when we did they freaked out and so we told them it was a prank that she is just my best friend and helps me with tutoring. Carson truth or dare?" 
     "Dare." 
     "I dare you to give Blake a boner." 
     "Shit that's gonna be hard. Aren't you questioning if you like boys or not?" 
     "Yep show me you're the right choice." 
     before I could move or say anything else Carson but his other leg over me and straddled me pushed my back on the bed. He leaned down to my ear making sure to press his whole body into me and whispered, "Now I have you daddy." He slipped one hand under my shirt and used is other hand it hold both of mine down. When his lips came to my mouth I couldn't help but kiss him before he had even said whatever it was he was going to. I freed one of my hands and pressed his body more into mine. I kissed him so hard yet gently until he gasped for breath. I didn't want for his warmth to leave my skin, for his lips and touch to ever leave my skin. 
     "Carson I believe you won." Veronica spoke up. 
     "Oh come V you ruined the moment." I said. 
     "Fine then can we have your guest bedroom because I know a couple of things I'd love to do to my hot ass babygirl." 
     "Mom is already asleep so if she wakes up looking for you guys just put the knock first sign on the door." 
     "Okay bye have fun." 
     Carson had not moved off of me and the second the girls closed the door behind them he asked, "May we continue or would you like me to get off of you." 
     Without responding I grabbed his hips and flipped him onto his back I pulled his legs around  me tighter and kissed him. I kissed his butterscotch lips until we both we gasping for in between kisses. When he opened his mouth to take a breath I pushed myself deeper into and invited my tongue into his mouth. Our lips met and fit perfectly together and our tongues danced together as if we have been doing it for years. I took another breath and he flipped me into my back again. His body lifted a bit off mine and he kissed my neck. He started to undue my belt and I felt very nervous. " I... I've never done this with a guy before." 
     "Would you like me to stop?" 
     I didn't want him to stop but I didn't know what to do. I kissed his lips and I didn't say anything because I had no idea what to say. 
     "I'm going to take that as a keep going but just slower?" 
     "Yes your right." He kept undoing my belt as he kiss my lips. 
     "I'm to kiss down your body is that okay, or slower?" 
     "That's fine baby." 
     He kissed my lips one more time and then kissed my jaw line. When he got to my neck he started nibbling and it felt so good and right. He felt so good and right. I never wanted the night to end. 
     "Can I leave marks on you daddy?" 
     I love that he caught on to my hint that I like being called daddy and the hint I like biting and choking. He pays attention to what I like and don't and I love it. "Yes ba..." before I could finish my sentence some started knocking on there door. "Who is it?" 
     "It's Harmony, it's 4am and you have to be up at 7 for game day practice and I signed up your little boyfriend to help out the team so he will be going with you." 
     "Shit thank you Harmony for reminding us. Good night. I guess we should go to bed shouldn't we?" 
     "As long as I can spend another night." 
     "You can come over anytime baby." 
     "Yay okay night night." 
     He got off of me we both took off our shirts, shoes, and belts. He curled up into a ball on the far side of the bed. I grabbed him and held him close. His warmth made me feel so safe and sleepy. "Can I be honest?" 
     "Always ." 
     In a very sleepy voice I tried to say "I never want this to end" 
     Right before I fell asleep I heard a faint "I love you. I never want this to end either." I tried to respond but I was to tired and I fell asleep.
