The reason why I do fanfiction is because...to let the world know that I exist. Even though my username is not my real name, but it proves that I exist.
Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute...that sounded a little bit cliché. I can't tell you my name because that would be an invasion of privacy or something like that. I can't tell you where I live, how old I am, or even my gender. Actually some fanfiction writers do put their real names in the author's note in one of the chapters of their fanfics. Anyways, I'll tell you some minor details about me. My username is Fanfictionismylife768239 and I've been a fanfiction writer for quite awhile.
I love to write fanfiction from my favorite fandoms which are Beauty & The Beast, How To Train Your Dragon, Brave 2012, Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century, Pokémon, Lord of the Rings, Inuyasha, The Mummy, NCIS, The Witcher, Big Hero 6, Voltron: Legendary Defender, Naruto, Avatar: the Last Airbender, and Legend of Korra.
Fanfiction should be more than just some hobby. True that most famous people we know of were fanfiction writers before they decided to pursue on making something of their own work. For me, I want fanfiction to be legal to publish into novels. But then I noticed something about why Fanfiction can only be published online: The editing. What happens when you want to reedit a chapter, but it's already in print in ink? Now that would be a huge problem.
What would happen if some of us were only good at writing fanfiction and nothing else? What would happen to that someone?

Gabriella "Gabby" Mckenzie feels like her life is full of screwups. So she decides to go to Japan to commit suicide in the Suicide Forest. But her best friend, Abby, wants her to go on a cross country trip with her before she commits suicide. On this trip, she meets new friends and experience many things that may change her for the better. (I'm doing it in script format)


Let's imagine that someone out there created a story and gave it a title of "Captain (country of origin)". Then for the first few chapters they introduced the war and why people are volunteering to fight. Here comes a scrawny little kid whose head is full of justice but cannot fight. He is rejected. He tries to volunteer but he will just be a burden. Then he joins an experiment to create a super soldier. He volunteers knowing that there is a chance that he will die. How many chapters would that take? Then they succeed but the scientist is killed. So, he is the only super soldier created.
Then they had him dance around for months. Touring various towns and cities, singing and dancing his ass off. That could be 50-60 chapters, right? And still no cool scenes.
Will you give reviews like…?
"why choose a scrawny kid to fight for the war?"
"why make him dance?"
"what did I just read?"
I guess my point is, you paid to watch that movie and read the comics. But that was not perfect at the start. This story is a fanfiction. A fiction written by a fan. I wrote this for me. If you want to read this, I hope you read this without expecting much because I am not expecting to be paid for this. If you can give me a million dollars today. I would accept your reviews, comments and suggestions and try to improve it. Heck, I would even hire editors and a few professional writers and brainstorm and stuff for each chapter.
This is free. The quality is as good as what you can expect from an amateur who makes a lot of mistakes. Point it out politely and I would try to correct them if I agree with you.
I wrote it so that I could post it here. A living, breathing fanfiction story. This is the first draft. No edit. That will come later. If you did not like it. I apologize for wasting your time. The good news is that there are thousands of other novels in Webnovel. You can just click another novel to read.
Some points that others may have ignored. MC was not the best that earth has to offer. He is not a genius like Stark, brave like Rogers, a fighter like Barton. He is just an ordinary guy. If you are having trouble understanding why he didn't do this or he didn't do that, I suggest you go outside (when the Cov** ** becomes history) and look somewhere. Maybe you will see an ordinary guy. Can you imagine him doing everything as perfect as you advised in your review? Why didn't he go to Kamar Taj or do this or that? Or park that question and wait for the next chapter. Because people do not post chapters with 2 billion words, explaining every move, every thought, every scenario. At least that is what I know. Let me finish the book first and then you can complain.
That's just me, now that I have uploaded this fanfiction. I also write my complaints to other stories. I just want to say that if your going to say something, please say something helpful.
You can be a fan of a fan and be disappointed or you can be a fellow fan and be nice. Maybe we could work this out. You point out some mistakes, I try to correct them. This is not a complete work. I can still edit it. Well, if you are willing to pay a lot then I could remove anything in the fanfiction that you don't like. You hate him being a wizard and not using his spells. I could remove that and say that he is not a wizard or make him use more spells. Since this is free, I will write it as I see fit, for the first time. I will edit it later depending on your take on the story.

A Hero in Hiding – MCU - Fanfiction. 
A young man from an earth with no magic that reincarnated in a world where magic and wizards are commonplace. He stole some stuff and used forbidden magic to try and return to his original world. Something went wrong and he found himself in an earth that is different form his earth. Born in 1800s somewhere in Africa. In the body of a newborn baby of a group of merchants that settled in Africa. He did not give up on returning home but he lacks mana for another try. So, he decided to build a wizard tower. It will take several centuries for the tower to gather enough mana. While waiting, he decided to play around. That is when he found Captain America. After that, he decided to be another hero in MCU.
He is only an apprentice wizard and he need to rank up into an official wizard to return home.
There are two ways to rank up as an official wizard. Traditional and Faith-based. The traditional way involves rigorous/arduous training and long-term accumulation of mana to finally break through the shackles of mortality. The steps to become one is easy and clear. The only problem is the low success rate. The rewards are great though, immortality. Unending lifespan. As long as there is mana.
Faith-based involves making people depend on you. This involves becoming their champion and protector. There is one drawback to this. You become bound to that world. Those who became official wizards through such actions are unable to leave their world, much less travel to other dimensions. They can only gather mana through the people they protect. That is why most would not choose this.
This is the reason why MC does not want anyone to know about him. And why he needs to use different personas and change them every now and then.

I'm going to follow canon but while a little twist since this is my first fanfiction.

No Harem - I don't know how to write a story with many girls for the MC and I don't even know if there is romance in this story.

Slow Update - I'm creating this when I have time on my hands.
