As the game's objective, the player needs to raise his or her main party by recruiting battle girls and training them to become stronger, and to most likely evolve into hotter and sexier girlfriends to their masters. In Yeonbin's case, a hassle. But what happens if he and his battle girls spend time together and form an unbreakable bond?

I walked into the school on Monday and saw that most of the students were gathered.
"Quite unusual". I thought. 
It didn't occur to me that I might be the reason behind that gathering. 
"Look who is here". A student said happily and most of the other students in the hallway turned to look. They all stared at me and smiled. Most of them tried to get closer to congratulate me. 
"Congratulations". Someone said. 
"This is like the best thing we have had to talk about in years". Another student commented. 
"You are so good at this". 
"You should do this more often". 
"You are a superstar now". 
"Can you sign my paper?". She pointed out the paper and a pen. I snatched the paper from her with exaggerated force. 
"Eesh, easy". She said to me and frowned her face. 
"Being popular means being known by most or all the people around a particular place. Being popular in different cases entails different things for different personalities. While some people are known for their beauty, others are known for their expertise in sports and some are popular because they can sing or dance very well. 
     Being popular in Duncan high school is way different from all of this. A space in the upper echelon is guaranteed if only you can prove your worth. The lingering question is "How can you prove yourself worthy of a space in the Duncan high school upper echelon?". Anyways, I won't leave you hanging. In today's article Duncan Chronicles, I will answer the question that has left many students hanging. 
To be popular means to impress your friends and make everything think you are "cool". It's no news that I got detention last week for fighting with high school queen Kimberley McAdams. The fight was as a result of a scandal she caused about me in the school. To Kimberley McAdams and her friends, such shameful act is tagged as being "cool", how true is this? 
Popular girls and boys are always very revengeful. They will go at any length to exert revenge on whoever offends them.  This is further worsened by the fact that the victim refuses to open up to the school authorities. Being feared is being part of what guarantees you a space in the upper echelon. 
The surprising thing about the Duncan high school hierarchy is that getting to the top is as hard as staying at the top. After struggling to get to the top, you have to struggle even harder to remain there as even your own friends can bring you down. This is one of the things I learned from Kimberley McAdams and it will forever remain in my mind. Kimberley and I became friends after the detention. We were both seen by Clara Williams and Monica Hart walking out of the female bathroom. A few minutes before walking out, I recall we were chatting and laughing only for her to deny me in front of her friends because she thinks am "uncool". 
She apologized later and we went to The Seven's restaurant on a girly date to make up for denying me in the presence of her friends. You might ask yourself why The Seven's when we could go to a restaurant nearby and less expensive. The answer is that Kimberley McAdams doesn't want to be seen with me. She faces a lot of pressure from her friends. They (especially Clara Hart) decide her life for her. She might be the high school queen but she needs the approval of her minions to do certain things. The high school queen is afraid that she might lose her position if she goes against her friends or against the set of rules. In a later paragraph, I will explain the set of rules you have to follow to be a popular girl or boy or to be accepted by the popular group. 
It's is a known fact that the Final year Arts A class is the coolest and most notorious class in the whole school but how so? The most popular girl and boy (Kim and Marc respectively) are from this class and the other students are also considered cool. In this class are twelve ranks of being cool and only twelve students, the first being Kimberley McAdams and the last being Barbara Marvel Jesus. The funny thing is that the class representative, Disney Roberts is in rank eleven. All the power of being a class representative goes to Kimberley while Disney is only class representative in duties. Academic prowess is the last item on a priority list while fashion quality is the top item. The fewer morals and regard for authority you have, the better for you. 
Kim is a very nice and smart girl who loves kids and Ice cream. She is viewed by a lot of people as a meanie and a jerk. 
The class representative Disney loves to read and write but can't fulfil her dreams because she doesn't want to get on the wrong side of the high school queen. Disney is a very smart girl and can do better in her academics if she doesn't have to spend endless times after partying and hanging out with the cool crowd. She does everything Kim, Marc, Monica and Clara tells her to do even if it goes against her morals. Once did she not turn in her Spanish assignment despite the fact that she had done it because the other kids haven't. Thank God we have to wear uniforms, if not a lot of students would have been humiliated by the proud cool kids. 
Monica is a nice girl who cares so much about her best friend Kim but doesn't show it because the cool kid rules are against kindness and affection. 
Clara, on the other hand, is a professional gossipmonger and can gossip about almost anything. "She is the source of most rumours in the school" Kimberley McAdams said during my interview with her. The good side of Clara Hart is yet to be discovered. 
Rumours and gossip is part of being a cool kid. A lot of people will talk bad about you behind your back and pretend to love you in your presence. 
You never know who the real bad kid is but most of them are just pretending to be bad to get accepted by other people. 
You might find this hard to believe but below are some rules that relate to being popular:
* Be mean to people even if they are nice to you. 
* Party, take drugs and alcohol
* Gossip and spread rumours
*Do anything to stay at the top even if it means betraying your most trusted friends
*Wear cool and accepted clothes. Be in vogue. 
*The most popular girl must date the most popular boy in school. 
*As a popular guy, you must play at least one sport. 
*Do not join school clubs except when forced to. 
*Do not offer nerdy subjects like Trig, advanced science, quantum physics and engineering mathematics. 
*Do not be seen with a nerd even if your life depends on it. 
*Get into trouble regularly. 
*Be tagged as the school enemy by the teachers e.g Marc as school enemy number one and Kim as school enemy number two. 
*Make fun of other students especially the science nerds. 
*Be feared by all. 
*Hate all, love none. 
I hope this article is eye-opening for whoever reads it and I believe I have answered all the questions about being popular and has left no iota of doubt in you. The popular kids are just like us and should be treated no differently. Being cool should mean being a smart kid and having morals and values not otherwise.

Babe's Diary is the book you should read this season. It's is realistic fiction, it talks about real-life issues and is directed to the general audiences. It's a book you can discover yourself in. The author brings you closer to the character and creates a connection such that you can substitute yourself in the book. There were times I found myself disagreeing with my own characters. It's like I am living the story and I think you should do the same, of course, it doesn't matter what I think....lol. I enjoyed writing this book so much and I hope you enjoy reading it. This book is # Child abuse # Romance # Teen # Tragedy.

Chapter 267. Is rock music still alive (?)
As time passed, the entertainment industry was getting more and more fierce. It also includes the agencies and the actors.
If an actor can stay in the industry for an year then, he can be said to be someone who has faced many trials and tribulations.
Just an year is enough to gain an understanding of the industry
One will also understand how hard it was to get even a little popular. It was more about luck and connections, then one's skill.

It was because it was less riskier than making a full album. 
They will also try to feature popular singers or girl groups in the single. That will increase the chances of it being a hit.
Just last year, a popular male actor had released an album. Despite his singing being just average, the single had topped the charts.
It was because the single featured a popular girl group in it.
Actors and girl groups collaborating with each other on a single was now even a common thing in the industry. 
Lily's proposal just changed the girl group to a rock band. 
"Your proposal is promising on paper but it has a huge risk involved in it. Rock bands are the trend of the 90s. It won't work at this age."
Director Zhao said as he shook his head.
"Everything has a risk involved in it and rock bands can become popular. They are still very popular in the west."
Lily also countered his words. Her earlier nervous attitude has started to fade away. She was not even hesitating now.
"Rock bands are famous in the west but we are not in the west. We are in China!!"
Rock music is still famous in almost all the western countries and some of the most popular artists in the world consist of rock bands.
Despite the insurgence of pop music, rock culture has an indisputable place in all genres of music.
But rock music was slowly fading away in countries like China, Korea, India and Japan. It was because people are most invested in other genres of music.
The rapid popularity of music like K-pop is also a reason behind this.
"I know that rock bands are not popular but rock music hasn't died yet. It can again become popular if one gives it a chance."
"That chance will come with a huge risk."
"Like I said, everything has a risk factor in it and why are you so afraid of taking risks? From what I know, the popularity of Ren is due to the risks he had taken till now."
Lily said in argument but she soon realised that her tone has already changed to informal.
She was in front of a director from a big class agency and she was even arguing with him. She had made a grave mistake.
Her band was the one to request Ren into featuring in their song. She can't act like Ren was the person who requested to get featured. 
"I'm sorry. I should not have talked to you like that. It's my mistake."
In the end, she lowered her head and slowly said.
"No, it's fine."
Director Zhao said as he sighed.
The atmosphere became awkward for sometime as no one talked. In the end, Ren who was silent till now opened his mouth.
"I think Lily's proposal is good."
Lily rapidly raised her head when she heard that. Her eyes were shaking as she looked at Ren with a thankful gaze.
She thought that she would get a refusal in the end. Especially because Ren was silent till now.
"Are you sure you want to take that much risk? Your singing career is really raw right now. If we took a chance and it failed, then it would take too much effort to revive your singing career."
Director Zhao was worried about that.
The album of «A born star» had made a base for Ren to transition into the music industry but if he really tried to take such a huge risk, then it can all crumble down.
Moreover, it will also affect his popularity.
"I know it can fail but what about if we succeeded?"
Rather than the failure, Ren was thinking about the success.
Director Zhao also widened his eyes when he heard that. He started pondering on Ren's words carefully. Then, he replied.

They can just target the single at a certain audience. The sales of the single would be less this way but it was not like rock bands earn from albums and singles much anyway.
They earn through concerts.
'It can be a success.'
Slowly, a plan started forming inside the mind of Director Zhao. He was thinking of ways to make it a success.
After a while, he turned towards Lily and asked.
"Are you sure that rock music can become the new trend?"
Lily blinked her big eyes in surprise when she heard that but she soon replied with conviction.
"I'm 100% sure of it. Rock music had never died. It was just hidden due to some clouds. We just had to sweep away the clouds."
Everyone laughed when they heard that but Lily's words were also logical. Rock music was something that was gourmet food existence. 
People want to eat it but they don't have the time and money to eat it. They just have to change the gourmet food into fast food. 
"Then, I will hope that we will be able to sweep away the clouds together."
Director Zhao suddenly said as he stood up. He extended his hands towards Lily who was stunned by his words.
It didn't take much time for Lily to quickly assess the situation and she quickly grabbed his hand with a nervous but excited expression.
"Thank you."
"You don't need to thank me. Let's make this a success together."
'I wonder what the results would be this time.'
Ren thought as he felt that the future was becoming more and more unpredictable. 


Ren, he was someone with great talent in acting and singing but due to bad luck and some wrong choices, he was only able to become a third rate actor.

After dying in an accident, he noticed that he had returned to the past.

Christine finished her high growl, the music had lifted her up and brought her back crashing to earth. This was her soul song, this was what she felt every day after she left Markus to rot in jail.

She had to pick up her pieces, she had to be careful who she let in her life. For every wall, she knocked down there was already a new one to replace it.

The people that were at El Diablo started cheering and most were clapping. The waiter was ecstatic he ran to the stage. "Miss! That was bloody brilliant."

Christine blinked, it took her a moment to realise where she was. "Thank you," her face flushed crimson and she looked where Lucian was waiting at their table, he was grinning.

She put the mic back in the stand and walked down from the stage, her legs were wobbling. The adrenaline was wearing off, did she just sing in front of all these people? 

She will not do it again, she reached the table and sat down again. Lucian still had a stupid grin on his face.

"I should say, Miss Parkins." He looked into her eyes. "That was one hell of a performance."

She looked down to her now, empty plate. "You are exaggerating, Lucian."

He picked up his beer and took a long sip. "I am not, I have felt all the emotion you put into singing that song."  

Christine didn't look up, no one could understand the struggles she had gone through. This song had saved her numerous times when she had thought about suicide.

The power that music had over one's well being was enormous to what a self-help book could give you.

She had tried self-help books but fell asleep in the first chapter. So she tried the cheaper version and that was listening to music, it helped with her rage that she felt.

Music helped her with her depression and made her rise from the ashes, to be a better person. Not religion, not a self-help book just pure music.

"Did I say something wrong?"

She sighed inwardly, he didn't say something wrong. The problem was with her, she couldn't tell him how fuckt up she was inside.

Her therapist that she had talked to after what happened with Markus, told her in so many words that it was her fault that he had acted the way he did.

She stopped seeing him after the third session, she had locked herself in her apartment and didn't come out for weeks. She hadn't talked to anyone but Neo that was until she betrayed her too.

"No- I am just overwhelmed."

Lucian blinked, he didn't believe her for one bit. She looked as if she was having an internal struggle with herself. "I am going to ask you a personal question."

Christine's attention snapped to him, why? Well, she had to give him something she guessed, this was, get to know me better dinner.

"Who hurt you?"

She stiffened at his question, that was one question she was not willing to answer at this stage. "I have no idea what you are talking about."

Her words stabbed him in the heart, okay, she was still not willing to open up to him yet. This song that she sang told him a whole different story.

"I won't press you any further."

She blinked, so he did see through her lie and he was being smooth about the rejection. "I don't know you really well yet, so maybe in a couple of months?"

A couple of months? He didn't have that time, women in this day and age were really troublesome. "I am not going to rush you, so let us enjoy ourselves before leaving this place.

She smiled at him, "Thank you." He waved the waiter over again, the waiter was practically running to them. "Something else?"

Lucian nodded, "Two more beers please." The waiter bowed, "Coming up!" He looked at Christine before leaving again. "You were on fire, Miss." 

Christine smiled at him, she turned her head towards the empty stage. It was such a shame that no one wanted to sing anymore. 

She turned back to Lucian, "Tell me about what you do."

Lucian looked St his empty glass, "I am a musician as I have said when we first met. I played at the club of the damned."

"Have played?" 

He nodded, "Yes, the club closed down for a bit so I am staying with a friend."

She waited for him to continue but he didn't, the waiter brought them their beer and left again. "Are you going to travel with your music?"

He picked up his glass, "No. Well, I don't know, it all depends on what happens in the months to come." 

That sounded depressing, she had to throw the question out there to determine if she could let him into her life. Usually, if there are musicians they would leave on months in the end.

"What does it depend on?"

Lucian took a sip from his beer and almost choked on it. He couldn't answer her question that would bring her only more confusion.

The thing was if he lied she might as well decide to have nothing to do with him anymore. He opened his mouth to answer when her phone started ringing.

"I am sorry," she took the phone out of her pocket and her face turned ashen. It was the unknown number again.

Lucian saw the worry in her face, "What is wrong?"

She tried to put the phone away quickly but he grabbed for it and looked at the screen. Christine was reaching for her phone but he kept it out of reach and answered it.

"Hello?"

"Who is this?"

"The question here, is who are you?"

"It has nothing to do with you."

Lucian listened closely if he could hear some background noises but there was none. The voice spoke again.

"Are you fucking her?" 

Lucian didn't like how this person sounded over the phone, Christine made a grab for the phone again but Lucian batted her hand away.

"What is it to you?"

"So you are fucking her. I will make sure to end you with her."

"Look you sick fuck, if you harm her I will find you and make you suffer."

The voice laughed, it was menacingly and yet creepy at the same time. "If you can find me, but I am always watching from the shadows."

The phone went dead, Lucian turned his head towards Christine who was still as white as a sheet. "Who was that?"

She bit her lip, "I do not know, it was the same number that phoned me before we met up."

No wonder she was so shaken up about that. "I will walk you home."

That was sweet of him to offer and the truth is she didn't think she would be able to go home alone after this. "Thank you, I don't think I would be able to be alone tonight."

That was what he wanted to hear, not that he liked the way it led to those words but he had to work with what he got.

"I am a gentleman, Miss Parkins."

Christine gulped. "M... My gut says you are hiding behind a barrier, you are not dangerous to me."

Lucian smiled at her, he moved his face an inch closer, their noses almost touching. "I am a very dangerous man, Miss Parkins. Your gut is wrong."

Christine's head was spinning, then why did he ask me what my gut says if he will only brush it off? Before she could muster a retort her cooking alarm went off.

"That would be lunch."

 Hey, you know those "popular" girls and boys who we talk about when we wonder why they're "popular"? 
You know how we say stuff like: "They love to act like they think they're ugly, but they're popular and beautiful."
 Did you know that every person has problems?
 Even people who are "popular", have issues even if it's a small problem.
 Usually, people who are "popular" have low self-esteem too.
 I don't know if this is a wrong grammared quote, but I remember seeing it a lot in a game I was in. 
 It goes something like, "You know that girl you just called fat, she has an eating disorder. Do you know that boy who you told cries too much? His parents are dead."
 I know it isn't right but it makes a good point on what I am about to say.
 I notice that the people who smile the most have been through the most because it took so long to be able to smile for many of them.
  The people who aren't smiling, are probably numb right now. They'll be ok soon, don't worry.
 The ones who pretend to be depressed just want attention, they might feel not loved deep down.
 The ones who hide their emotions don't want to bother others or just don't want to "bother" others.
 The ones who cry in public often are innocent and are sensitive.
 The ones who are "class clowns" and "comedians" probably joke about their problems and hide them because they want to be seen as just the 'funny kid' with 'no problems'.
The point of all this is, everyone has problems. Even if they weren't listed, they also have problems. We don't know if a family member is sick or died. 
 So don't judge others.
 Now, we know I mentioned I had depression, self-love, etc.
 Well, for me it took me about 3-6 years to get over, I probably changed that number in another chapter but I more or less counted it. Since I was about 9-10 years old I had issues with my body, because my father said I was growing a stomach. 
 Just saying, if your a parent or about to be one I want you to know that if you tell your kid they're getting fat, your kid will grow up with self-flaws and there is a possibility they will have a form of an eating disorder.

This continent has many rich countries that's why cars and luxurious vehicles are common there. World's best restaurants, vines, casinos, and bars are located on this continent. People who live there speak English and are very busy with their routine. Nearly 45% of the population from the whole world lives on this continent. people are very stylish and talented. It is rich in coal and oil.

2.PROGPLAIN:

This is the continent with the thickest forests of bamboo and some wild fruits. Trees grown in this continent are blue in color. This continent is full of wild animals and mysteries. Hunters camp there at hunting season. It is best for adventures but the most dangerous continent of the world. People assumed it is under the shadow of the devil. Its soil is very fertile. Near the seashore, large quantities of quality fishes are found. Most of the fish in the world is exported from here. Sharks are also found in their near areas. This continent is the reflection of paradise. It is rich in gems and gold. People who reside here live simple lives and enjoy nature.
