Bai Fan was a Chinese medical university student who woke up as a Japanese high school student named Kitagawa Tera about half a month ago. It was just like a typical starting point in a novel.  He re-experienced life as a high school student in his twenties. Youthful, energetic girls, and colorful love comedies…That should have been the original plot…
However, heaven was obviously playing a joke on Bai Fan as he had not inherited any memories of the original Kitagawa Tera.
Follow the level-headed and cold Kitagawa Teru as he navigated around his new world with the ‘System’ that constantly gave him supernatural quests to clear.

Butuh satu hari aku istirahat memulihkan mana milikku. MP ini seperti darah, ia mengalir diseluruh tubuh. Cara menggunakannya hanya memfokuskan aliran MP menuju telapak tangan tetapi jika tidak merapalkan sihir atau skill, MP tidak akan berfungsi.

Tapi ada yang masih membuatku bingung. Ketika menggunakan skill rahasia kenapa yang digunakan adalah energi bukan MP, malahan MP menyerap energi? Jika ini memang game energi ini seharusnya tidak ada.

Jujur saja sangat sulit untuk memecahkan hal itu dan juga aku tidak punya banyak waktu untuk memecahkannya.

Sekarang ini aku ingin memastikan bahwa istanaku ini terbuat dari logam yang sangat langka dan terkuat. Untuk memastikannya aku pergi keluar istana.

Disana ada dua orang wanita dengan ras Demi Human.  Ras Demi Human memiliki banyak jenis. Tera dan Tio dipilih oleh AI Demi Human jenis Serigala dan Rakun.

"Tuan!"

Mereka yang sedang melakukan sesuatu tiba - tiba membungkukkan badannya ketika aku datang dihadapan mereka.

"Apakah istana ini memang terbuat dari Vibranium?"

Jika aku sudah sangat penasaran. maka tidak ada kata basa - basi, Harus langsung pada intinya.

"Benar. Tuan coba lihat ini."

Tera yang jobnya merupakan Scientist menempelkan telapak tangannya pada dingding istana dan ia mengucapkan skillnya.

"Systematic observation: Metal element."

Tera mengucapkan skillnya. Sebuah layar muncul di dingding istana, didalamnya terdapat sebuah unsur - unsur logam tetapi ada satu unsur yang baru aku lihat.

"Apa itu?"

Sebenarnya aku kurang pengetahuan dalam kimia tapi aku sangat yakin unsur yang aku lihat itu baru pertama kalinya aku melihatnya.

"Oh. Anda melihatnya Tuan. Anda memang hebat."

Tera memujiku dan tersenyum. Ia lalu melanjutkan perkataan, "Untuk saat ini aku menamainya 'Néos' karena aku baru saja melihatnya."

Tera lalu menggantikan skillnya dengan mengucapkan "Systematic observation: Metal compound." Dan layar dipenuhi dengan senyawa - senyawa.

Tera melanjutkan penjelasannya, "Néos memiliki dua senyawa yaitu senyawa magnetik dan senyawa titanium. Senyawa magnetik ini dapat mentralkan sihir, sedangkan titanium dapat menangkal skill. Hanya satu logam yang memiliki senyawa ini yaitu Vibranium."

Begitu. Kurang lebih aku paham dengan penjelasannya. Yang berarti bahwa logam Vibranium ini terbuat dari magnet dan titanium.

"Tuan. Anda memang hebat bisa mendapatkan logam yang sangat langka ini. Hanya 1:1.000.000 orang beruntung yang bisa mendapatkannya."

Tio memujiku. Itu tidak membuatku senang karena istana ini bukan aku yang buat. Aku hanya membelinya dan diberi oleh developer saja.

"Jika dibuat senjata, logam ini akan menjadi yang terkuat didunia."

Tera yang memperhatikan layar tiba - tiba menyarankan untuk membuat sebuah senjata.

"Tentu saja. 10 item pusaka dunia juga akan kalah jika logam ini dijadikan sebuah senjata."

Tampaknya Tio setuju dengan saran yang Tera sampaikan.

Tetapi aku tidak. bagaimanapun istana ini telah menghabiskan uangku. Jika saja aku menghancurkannya bukankah keinginanku tidak akan tercapai?

"Tidak. Istana ini adalah dasar untuk mencapai keinginanku."

Seketika aku melihat Tera dan Tio terkejut mendengar pernyataanku. Tubuhnya bergetar hebat.

"Tuan. Sepertinya kita telah berencana menghalangi keinginan Anda. Jadi.."

"...Kita tidak pantas untuk hidup lagi."

Mereka berdua mengeluarkan sebuah belati dibalik bajunya dan siap akan menusukkan pada lehernya.

"Apa yang kalian lakukan!"

Aku dengan sekejap berhasil menahan belati yang akan menusuk lehernya.

Meskipun aku sedikit kesal dengan apa yang mereka katakan, tak seharusnya mereka bunuh diri dan aku lupa bahwa NPC akan bunuh diri jika menghalangi tujuan Tuannya.

Bodohnya diriku melupakan hal sekecil itu.

"Sudahlah, aku memaafkan kalian!"

Dengan sontak aku memaafkan mereka secara langsung.

Perasaanku yang biasanya tersakiti ketika ada seseorang yang meminta maaf, sekarang ini perasaan itu sedikit menghilang.

Mereka berdua segera melepaskan belatinya.

"Maafkan saya. T-tapi kita tak bisa lagi tinggal di wilayah ini."

Dengan wajah yang ketakutan Tera berusaha memberitahu sesuatu padaku.

"Apa maksudmu?"

Aku tidak tahu apa yang dimaksudnya. Tak bisa tinggal lagi? Memang ada apa? Sekarang ini aku tidak merasakan bahaya apa - apa.

"Ketika Anda menggunakan skill untuk mengalahkan monster itu, energi yang anda lepas begitu sangat besar. Saking besarnya energi yang anda lepas membuat wilayah ini terkontaminasi oleh energi." Sambung Tio menjelaskan kebingunganku

"Tuan. Lihat ini."

Tiba - tiba muncul seekor tikus ditelapak tangan Tera. Kedatangannya seperti sulap yang muncul entah dari mana.

Tera menjentikkan jari pada tubuh si tikus dan terjadi sesuatu yang pecah. Aku tidak tahu apa itu tapi sepertinya itu adalah lapisan pelindung seperti milik skill Keysha.

Tubuh si tikus bergetar. Tak lama kemudian tubuhnya mengembung seperti balon dan meledak. Darah berhamburan kemana - mana serta daging bertebaran ke tanah.

"Tikus itu kelebihan energi sehingga menyebabkannya meledak. Ditambah dia tak memilik MP untuk menstabilkan energi."

"Tak memiliki MP? Bukankah MP itu menyerap energi?"

Ini pengalamanku sendiri yang aku rasakan.

"Itu tidak benar. MP tidak menyerap energi, tubuh Anda lah yang menyerapnya. MP yang Anda gunakan hanya mencoba menstabilkan energi yang Anda serap bersama dengan equipment milik Anda. Inilah penyebab Anda kehilangan kesadaran karena anda terlalu banyak menyerap energi."

Jadi, begitu. Sekarang aku cukup paham dengan penjelasan yang disampaikan Tera. Equipment selain Runesword milikku memiliki MP yang sedikit dibandingkan MP milik Runesword sehingga membuatnya bisa menstabilkan energi yang menghantarkan pada tubuh monster misterius.

Syukurlah bahwa pedang kesayanganku tidak hancur.

"Jika memang begitu selama kita mempunyai MP. Kita bisa tinggal disini meskipun wilayah ini terkontaminasi?"

"Jika itu Tuan maka tidak apa - apa, tapi bagi kami tidak akan bisa. Saat ini kami telah dilindungi oleh lapisan pelindung milik Keysha. Ketika pelindung ini menghilang maka nasib kami akan sama dengan tikus itu."

Tera memasang ekspresi rumit diwajahnya. Sepertinya ia ingin aku untuk meninggalkan wilayah ini tetapi ia tidak berani menolak keinginanku.

Keysha tampaknya telah menggunakan skillnya untuk melindungi para NPC lainnya. Ketika dia kehabisan MP maka mereka akan meledak.

Aku menghela nafas dan berkata pada mereka, "Aku mengerti. Jadi, kita harus meninggalkan wilayah ini."

Sebenarnya aku tidak mau meninggalkannya karena istanaku berada di wilayah ini. Tapi jika aku egois maka para NPCku akan mati.

Mendengar jawabanku Tera dan Tio tampak sangat lega bahwa aku ini tidak egois.

"Baiklah! Tuan. Untuk istana ini saya menyarankan untuk menyembunyikannya dengan sihir ilusi atau menjadikannya sebuah danau."

Benar. Istana ini harus disembunyikan. Tapi dijadikannya sebuah danau itu akan membuatnya mencolok. Sihir ilusi pun akan sama.

"Bagaimana jika keduanya?"

Meskipun keduanya sama tapi itu tidak akan membuatnya begitu mencolok.

"Jika itu keinginan Anda maka kami akan melakukannya."

Tera dan Tio menerimanya karena aku menyarankannya. Hei, bukankah kalian harus mempertimbangkannya? Ingin sekali berkata begitu tetapi mereka segera siap - siap.

"Tunggu sebentar."

Sontak aku menghentikan mereka. Aku masih ada pertanyaan untuk mereka.

"Kemana kita akan pindah?"

"Tentang itu Lion telah menemukan wilayah baru untuk Anda."

Tio berhenti bersiap - siap dan menjawab pertanyaanku.

"Oh, Dia telah bergerak?"

"Ya, sejak pertama kali kita berada di tempat misterius ini dia langsung bergerak mencari informasi. Itu juga membantu kami dalam penelitian tentang kita berada ditempat misterius ini."

Dengan Lion yang mencari informasi, itu sangatlah tepat. Aku tidak perlu mengkhawatirkannya.

Dan sepertinya mereka belum menemukan sedikitpun penyebab tentang kejadian misterius ini. Tak apalah mereka adalah NPCku sekarang hidup layaknya manusia yang bisa merasakan kelelahan, aku tak perlu memaksakannya.

"Kalau begitu Tuan, Kami akan segera bersiap - siap."

"Sebelum itu apakah kalian punya peta tentang wilayah baru itu?"

Sangat ceroboh jika kita tiba - tiba kita pindah ke wilayah asing. Selain itu, jika saja wilayah itu kurang akan sumber daya maka sia - sia saja kita pindah.

"Ya, kami punya."

"Bagus. Mari kita lihat!"

Portuna yang telah memuncaki peringkat pertama berniat ingin mendirikan kerajaannya tetapi kejadian misterius menimpannya yang membuat dirinya tidak bisa log out dari gamenya.

Darkness fills the air as the sun sets on the small, cursed town. The villagers fear the dark, for in it lies monsters. Here it's Halloween every day. The town has grown used to it but not unwary. They leave their iron doors locked, with salt on the stoops. Their shutters spiked with wooden spears. Each house burns saged candles. They know the ways to survive. Mind you I said survive, not thrive. Those who live in this town are cursed, they cannot leave. They are here till they die. No one ever came to visit this town; it just did not happen. The town hidden up in the mountains, but down in a valley. Shrouded by fog and damp mist. The village is called Tera, whether it is because they all have to a degree Teraphobia the fear of the monsters that plagued their lives; or because the founder was Iichii Tera, the first of the cursed. There was a howl in the distance, not a dog or any natural animal. It was a deep, unnatural, guttural howl. Something of a monster, it sends shivers down your spine and cold sweats threaten to pour down your body. The sound petrifies your nerves. Everything inside of you tells you to run, but you cannot. If you are here, you are cursed. Welcome to Tera.

A teen boy, Shadow Louis, must do everything in his power to get home before the clock runs out. Along his journey he meets some unlikely friends and together they team up to help each other beat the same enemy, The Clock of the Cursed. Their time is all ticking by, slowly yet surely. They all have the same goal: to be free of Tera. Will these unlikely companions be able to beat time, while fighting the curse of this town, the curse that has a grip on them all?

As Anissa walked toward the Path where she had asked Aaron to wait so that she could meet him before he left, strange shouts started to reach her ears which made her run forward, wondering whether someone was in trouble.
They had been incoherent first, but as she neared the spot they were coming from, they became clearer and clearer, and their contents made her pace, which had been fast initially as she had thought that it was an urgent situation, slow down until it finally became a puzzled walk.
"NO! NOT THERE! GET OFF ME! THIS ISN'T ALLOWED!"
"YOU'RE A MONSTER! THAT SHIRT WAS GIVEN TO ME BY A CUTE GIRL IN GALAHEP HAMLET! GET AWAY FROM ME, YOU DAMN DOG!"
"ALRIGHT, SORRY, DON'T GET SO OFFENDED! STOP IT! THERE ISN'T MUCH LEFT!"
A blush started to appear on Anissa's cheeks as she heard them, and as a final one started to be heard, she couldn't take it any longer.
"THAT'S MY LAST PAIR OF UNDERPANTS! YOU-"
"AARON!"
As her shout echoed in the woods, she came upon a very strange scene that had been hidden behind a thick line of bushes until now.
A grimy man wearing tattered clothes was being chased around by a husky, while Aaron watched with his hands folded.
Indeed, only the underpants of the grimy man were left untouched, and most of the rest of his body was visible as both his shirt and pant had been bitten and torn off until there was very little left.
He wasn't hurt, at all, though, except for a little redness here and there, which was a testament to the amazing accuracy of the Tera's canines which were surely responsible for all this.
As he turned around to see the newcomer who arrived, Max yelped and ran to hide behind a tree. He couldn't show this kind of image to a lady, right?!
"Woof, continue."
As if he wasn't perturbed, at all, by the woman's shout which Max had hoped would save him, the guy gave this order, and the nightmarish Tera started to approach him again.
Enough was enough.
From behind the tree, Max screamed, "All right, fine! I'll battle you! But give me some clothes, first!"
As Anissa heard this, confusion appeared on her face.
All this was because he had refused to battle?
But why had he even done that? Hadn't her grandfather said that he was a fanatic who loved to battle everyone he saw?
After the first loss in her life, Anissa had been in no state to say anything. After recovering, though, she had had a deep session with herself where she had slowly realized that there were a lot of changes inside her.
After that, she had decided that she wanted to talk to Aaron, so she had asked her grandfather to send the message to the captain of the guards, who was supposed to be with Aaron to hand over the prisoner he would be escorting.
The message had been passed on, and her grandfather had given her a brief rundown of the prisoner, which was how she knew of his fascination with battles.
She also knew his crime, though, which actually wasn't a crime, per se.
He had killed over 20 people and 50 Teras by poisoning their water supply, and he had been about to be put to the death, but evidence was found that the family he had targeted was actually a secret outpost of a very vile enemy of the World Government.
Even though he had actually done the World Government a service, the law stated that he should be kept in house arrest with a Settlement leader so that he could be analyzed, so he was being escorted for this purpose.
By the time Anissa reached them, Aaron was scratching his head, as he hadn't thought up to this point.
The clothes had been torn…but what should he give him, now?
Thankfully, he found an answer in Anissa, so he asked, "Do you have anything to give him?"
This led to Anissa looking at Aaron as if he was joking, but after understanding that he was serious and then realizing that he wouldn't know that asking a girl to give clothes, randomly, was weird, she sighed and used her A.A to contact someone from the Town.
"It'll be here, soon. Give it a minute. Aaron, I-"
Aaron nodded as he heard this, but he stopped her and said, "We can speak after the battle."
Anissa nodded, and silence descended over the area.
The reason Aaron had said this was that he didn't want the prisoner to listen in on whatever she wanted to say.
He knew the value of information, and no matter what Anissa had to say to him, he didn't want it to be heard by a possible foe whose power he didn't even know.
Hence, they chose to wait. 
While they did so, Woof arrived to stand beside Aaron, and Aaron bent to scratch its neck, making the Tera close its eyes and let its tongue drool as it enjoyed the feeling.
After sleeping, Woof would always have an itch there, and he used to use trees until he had found Aaron.
While Aaron continued to keep an eye on Max while he did this, he started to notice certain…changes in Woof that he hadn't noticed before, when the Tera had exited the Core, as it had instantly leaped after its target.
It's fur was sturdier, and the individual tufts of hair seemed, somehow…stronger.
Even its skin felt different, and as Aaron watched its teeth and canines, he noticed that they also seemed sharper.
Unable to understand, he asked the A.A directly, "What changes have occurred in Woof?"
The answer shocked him.
"Scanning. Comparing with previous status. Tera has advanced in level. Unable to gather more information about Tera, but this can be concluded based on the visible signs of the metamorphosis that has taken place."
Woof had directly…advanced a level?
The official had said that there would be changes when the Bond was first formed, but was it possible for a Tera to advance an entire level?
Of course, Aaron didn't even know exactly what level his friend was at, but this was definitely surprising.
"Sucker!"
Suddenly, Aaron looked up and heard a loud sound.
Due to that shock, his gaze on the prisoner had been interrupted by the fraction of a second, but the man was not where he had been.
Instead, he was currently lunging at Aaron, and he was on top of a huge Tera.
It looked like a wild boar, and it had leaped into the air, exposing its underside. Yet, the leap had been perfectly planned to not allow time for Aaron to react. By the time he did anything, the Tera and Max would be on top of him, and he would be defeated.
However, Aaron didn't panic at all.
And the reason behind that…was Woof.
This scene had caused the Tera to unhesitatingly lunge forward, too, and it's open mouth and sharp canines were targeting the weak point of its opponent that was closest to it.
The only reason behind Max screaming during his attack had been that he had found that it often increased the shock felt by the one he was launching a surprise attack on.
Yet…the action of the Tera shocked him to his core, and he couldn't help but scream, "OK, FINE, I WAS KIDDING! STOP THAT THING! MY TERA HAS DREAMS TO START A FAMILY, YOU KNOW! DON'T BE HEARTLESS, DAMMIT! OR IT'LL TURN AROUND AND BITE MINE OFF, TOO!"

NOTE: Age of Teras is currently on a hiatus. On reading through the material already posted, I realized that I have created an excellent, but highly complicated world with various aspects which need to be merged beautifully for the work to turn out to be the masterpiece I want it to be. Hence, I have taken the decision to sharpen my skills with other books before returning here with enough confidence to do justice to my ambition. I hope you understand.

Teras might have almost ended humanity's reign over this planet, but they were also the reason that we rose up from the ashes of the cataclysm and fought back against the hordes that sought to vanquish us. Whether you're someone who chooses to depend on your own power or one of those who trusts nothing but the overwhelming power of their weapons, you cannot deny this fact."

In the year 2020, a catastrophic event caused an upheaval of the earth's crust which resulted in the end of the industrial age.

A new age was born, where all the species on Earth, including humans, evolved in order to survive.

200 years later, an 18-year-old teenager who had survived for 8 years in a forest with the help of a trusty Siberian husky walked out to find that humanity had integrated itself with these wondrous, exotic yet deadly evolved beasts which came to be called as Teras.

Also, there seemed to exist a "Path to the Stars", where anyone could grow in power in any method of their choosing by defeating a list of increasingly stronger individuals in combat, who would each bestow them with the materials and knowledge needed to get to the next level.

With only a single clue in hand that might lead him to find just who he was, this man began his journey.

"Watch it you robotic fool!" Doctor Splitter hissed out through a set of clenched teeth. "God this is why I only deal with organic life!"

The man who was behind the first mission Bad Wolf went on now currently stood inside of a fancy looking lab with clean equipment. It was a stark contrast to the lab he used to have.

The walls were a plain white and there were no doors that could be seen as he wasn't allowed to leave until his work was done. There were many tables and desks lined with books and vials of liquid as well as equipment. Most notably though was a small metal table which had a glass container filled with what looked like a wasp hive but much, much bigger. Many white bugs could be seen flying inside of the glass cage.

Throughout the room Doctor Splitter stood at a table working on something. His many hands flew around him picking things up and handing them to himself. Also in the room several other people all wearing those weird trench coats could be seen. These one all had a large 'six' on them. They ran around the room but would sometimes stumble and drop something. Lastly was a man who stood in the back. Unlike the other tall people he only stood at a height of five eleven. He wore a silver trench coat as well as the typical hat, but unlike them, he could actually be seen. A handsome man with pale white skin, messy blonde hair, and bright blue eyes. His arms were crossed and he had a smirk on his lips.

"So Doctor Splitter. What is it that you are working on exactly?" He asked.

"Well Eins..." Doctor Splitter said hissing the words out. "If you must know..." He moved over to the glass tank with his bugs and gave a small sinister smirk. "I'm working on the next stage to my formula."

"What's it do?"

"I'm glad you asked... You see... For the past ten years I've studied the Hyper Gene. A form of DNA that grants many people powers. It was first used by Stand Tall the Number One Hero. Since then it has spread though. Many heroes are bitten by animals and gain powers. Most of those animals have the Hyper Gene in them. Other people are hit by radiation and awaken a power. My belief is that the Hyper Gene was already inside of them but inactive and the radiation caused it to awaken. I believe that in some form or another all Supers have the Hyper Gene inside of them. Well besides those who have that damn alien DNA inside of them."

"I see. So you think there are only two forms to Superpowers. Hyper Gene, and Alien?"

"Yes! Exactly!"

"I'm guessing you don't believe in Magic?"


"No. Of course not. Those with Magic must also have a form of the Hyper Gene. It's all science."


"Right... You can tell that to El when you face him."

"Who?"

"Nobody. So. What's these wasp of yours do? Give people wasp powers?"

"No that would be stupid!" Doctor Splitter announced. "My creations do way more than that! My babies. You see. I told you how I believe some people have the Hyper Gene inside of them already correct. It's just dormant and needs to be woken up... Well 100% of the time when a person is injected with the Hyper Gene they turn into a monster. However... If I'm correct about some people already having the gene in them then these wasps are my answer to it. They contain a shard of the Hyper Gene in their stingers. They're more like bees dying once they inject someone. I believe that should they inject a normal human much like what happened with my first test subject Defiance, their body will mutate and they'll become a monster. However... If they already have the Hyper Gene in them then when this new version is injected into them their gene will awaken and they'll be granted a superpower."

"Ah." Eins nodded his head. "I see. So either we create more monsters which the heroes have to clean up or we create new people with powers... There's a chance many will want to become a silly hero but there is also the chance many will see the light and come to our cause."

"My thoughts exactly! For a disgusting robot you really are smart."

"Hmm. And for someone who seems to only like organic life forms you sure do make some interesting tech..." Eins muttered picking up a metal helmet that was on the table. The same one Splitter used on Bad Wolf.

"That is my Laser Helm. Sends out blast of radiation and heat."

"I see. You're much better than our last doctor."

"Last one?"


"Yes. He was a man named Doctor Topps. Like you he was obsessed with organic life forms. Though unlike you who injects the Hyper Gene into beings he was focused on creating powerful warriors that were animals that were evolved to the point of being like humans. He called them Anima. However he went... A bit crazy. He was always obsessed with creating the perfect life form. We had to kick him out. Now we have you."

Doctor Splitter let out a snort. "Well. I'm going to be far more valuable than any other doctor. I'm not going to fail." He announced.

Neither the life like android or the Doctor noticed as up near the roof there was a small vent in which six white bugs began to crawl through...

Meanwhile...

"How much further do we have to walk."  Tori asked letting out a heavy sigh.

"Just a bit more." Tera her friend chuckled. 

"Yeah." Wendy, her other friend, said. "We're almost there."

"I hope it's good." Aka, her last friend, sighed.

"Oh it will be. Trust me."  Wendy announced.

It was a Saturday morning and currently four kids could be seen walking up the path of a mountain. All of them girls. All four of them were young. Only nineteen or twenty tops. The first girl was Tera Dirt. She had long black hair and light forest green eyes. She was the tallest out of the group of four and wore a simple school girl outfit as well as some headphones around her neck. Next to her was Wendy Kaze. Wendy had blonde hair tied back into a set of twintails as well as light silver eyes. She was the shortest out of the group. Just like the others she was in a school uniform. Next to her was Aka Sky. Aka had red hair tied back into a pony tail and a scowl on her face as well as a set of stunning sky blue eyes. She seemed to not want to be here. She had on a uniform but also a coat and her hands were shoved into it. And lastly was Tori Kaen. Tori had short shoulder length silver hair and orange eyes. She had a pencil tucked behind her ear as well as a note book filled with many sketches in it.

"I'm telling ya Tori." Tera announced gripping Wendy's hand tightly as she turned to look back at her child hood friend. "It's a great place. You'll get some sketches for sure."

"I found it so you can trust that its good." Wendy smirked.

"It better be." Aka said rolling her eyes. "We had to walk for miles to get-"

The girl was cut off when she saw it.

All the girls were when they saw it. Even Wendy and Tera who were already here stopped talking when they saw the sight for a second time.

Past the clearing was a gorgeous bank of stone with crystal clear water and a simple waterfall splashing down into the mini lake. There were many trees around and the sun casted down igniting the waters up in what looked like a warm glow. Many birds and animals could also be seen roaming around.

"Not bad right?" Tera asked raising an eyebrow. "You think you can get some art done here Tori?"

"Hmm..." Was Tori's only response. The quiet girl took a seat next to a rock and opened her book up as she began to write. 

"I'll admit." Aka sighed planting her back to a tree as she folded her arms. "The sight is pretty and not something we could see in Oleander City but what exactly are we supposed to do now that we're here?" She asked raising an eyebrow at Tera and Wendy. 

Both girls looked at each other for a moment both shrugging. "Swim?" Wendy suggested gesturing to the waters.

"I didn't bring a swim suit." Aka said flatly. 

"Skinny dip?" Tera shrugged.

"Pervert..." 

Tori ignored the chatting girls her pencil touching the paper as she traced out several lines until- " "Ow!" The normally silent girl hissed out her pencil slipping from her fingers as her hand flew up to her neck and swatted at something.

"What's wrong?" Wendy asked.

"S... Something bit me." Tori hissed. She moved her hand back and found a white looking wasp in the palm of her hand as well as blood.

"Oh my God Tori you're bleeding!" Tera said with some alarm. "It must have stung you good." She said rushing over. "The holes is-" She suddenly hissed out and swatted at her arm where she happened to slam it into another wasp that had stung her.

"So the forest is infected with wasps. Great." Aka said rolling her eyes. "I wonder who's going to get stung next- Yow! Damn it I was kidding!" She yelled slamming her leg into the tree behind her and crushing the one on her.

Wendy bent down picking one of the dead wasps down frowning. "I've never seen a Wasp like this? Pale white... And these ones seem to be going out of their way to sting people." She muttered watching as a pale white wasp landed on her leg. She watched it for a moment as it seemed to move over to where a vein was and stung her. It hurt far more than any wasp sting she ever received in her life but she resisted the urge to swat it away instead watching it. Seconds later it fell over dead. "One sting and it dies?"

"H... Hot..." Tori whispered.

"What?"

The girls turned to her and all began to stare in shock as the water began to boil and the stone she set on began to melt. "I... It's hot." Tori said her face red as she grabbed at her stomach and steam began to rise off of her. "It's so hot!"


She suddenly burst in a hail of flames which rolled off of her and set the area on fire...

Meanwhile in Oleander City...

Outside of a simple warehouse three men could be seen. All of the men were in simple suits and none of them looked all that impressive really and were just kind of standing around outside of a large warehouse.

"I can't believe the big guy up stairs gots us hailing this crap." One of the men sighed taking a puff on a cigar he had.

"Why not." The second guy asked raising an eyebrow. "I mean... We got some cool stuff in here. Got it from all that alien tech them Mars folk left behind."

"Man." The third one said rolling his eyes. "What's the deal with Mars? They seem to attack all the time. Then they go and get their asses handed to them by the heroes."

"Ha... Heroes." The first one twisted the cigar he had and dropped it. He raised his boot up stepping on it and grinding it into the ground. "I'm sick and tired of those costume bastards always walking around like they're better than us non powered humans. Worse the boss is making us work with those assholes." He sighed. 

"I feel ya." The second one said nodding his head as he folded his arms. "If I saw one of them bastards I'd show him whats what-"

"Shit!"

From up above standing on the warehouse Bad Wolf suddenly crashed into the ground in front of the three men face first. "Note to self." Bad Wolf said sitting up. "I can't wall crawl."

"Fool." Silver sighed.

"Ahh come on. Even you got to admit it would have been cool if I stuck the landing."

"What the hell!" The three men yelled.

Bad Wolf spun around jumping back to his feet as he glared at the three men. "Alright. Let's cut to the chase. I over heard your conversation so how about we skip the beat down and you guys open the warehouse or I'll-" All three men pulled out their hand guns and raised them up. "I'll... Huh... I didn't think any of you had guns. I'll just dodge and-"

Eighteen shots rang out as the three men instantly unloaded their bullets into Bad Wolf shooting him mid speech. The Hero fell back his jacket coated in holes now.

"Ow! What the f##k!" Bad Wolf yelled.

"Shit. He's one of those heroes that bullets don't effect. Let's get the big guns and-"

Bad Wolf jumped back to his feet and slammed his arm forward smashing the man through the door. Then he grabbed the other two men by their heads and shoved them through as well.

The inside of the warehouse was massive and filled with many trucks and tables that all had wild alien looking gear on it. There were also several more people in the warehouse that all stared with wide eyes since the front door was basically blasted down and a hero stormed in.

Bad Wolf walked into the warehouse now is blue eyes glowing as Silver floated after him. "Alright! That's enough!" He announced. "I'm putting a stop to this!"

"Well." A voice commented making Bad Wolf look up. "You were right about this being the end."

Bad Wolf only had times to widen his eyes as a mass of orange flames slammed into him and shook the building...

Louis got up out of bed, albeit unwilling. Brian, Melissa and Elaine as well as Strauss and Tera Moonling (Amber's parents) were in the room. Melissa and Elaine looked the calmest in the room, while Brian had his trademark frown and a face of disapproval. Strauss and Tera were one step away from running at him to tear him apart and saving their daughter, though Brian was physically holding them back with his hands.
First things first, he looked at Elaine. "Can you heal my hands? Only the skin is burnt, so it should be fairly easy." Louis said.
 Elaine sighed as she placed her two daughters onto the bed, tucking them in, as she held Louis' hands. They were charred black and completely numb, mitigating any pain that Louis would otherwise have felt. Furthermore, Louis kept his soul within his meridians and separated his consciousness from the skin around his hands, since he didn't need the pain as a signal to know how bad of a condition his hands were in.
 "Couldn't you have protected your hands, like the bed?" Elaine said, sighing. "These injuries are nothing to scoff at."
 "I wasn't sure if I had enough qi, so my hands took second priority." Louis said, shrugging. While he knew little of Elaine's actual abilities, her status as the former head shrine maiden was nothing to scoff at, especially since the position required both mastery of religious text, music, history and, most importantly, the ability to heal others. "As it is, I ran out of spirit stones helping Amber."
 "Helping? Her spirit became chaotic and flames that exceeded the formation in her dress erupted." Tera said, breaking from Brian's grip. She slapped Louis then embraced Amber. "Mother is so sorry for leaving you to such a monster. Mother is so sorry."
 Louis looked at Tera but couldn't blame her worry if she looked at the scene without understanding the preceding events, but she was not in a rational state at the moment, so he gave up convincing her. He would explain things later to her, when she realized that Amber was in no danger and calmed down a bit. Louis looked back at Melissa, Brian and Strauss.
 "So, what would you like to talk about?" Louis asked. "This is not going to be about breakfast tomorrow, is it?"
 "No, it's not." Strauss said, just about Brian was going to speak. "What did you do to Amber?"
 "I gave her a cultivation technique and helped her through the first and most difficult step, that's all." Louis said, glancing at his hands, which were still charred black.
  "Cultivation technique? Which one?" Strauss asked.
 "Nine Sun Yang Emperor technique. You probably haven't heard of it." Louis said. "It will fix her immediate problem of unconsciously emitting flames, so she wouldn't need arrays inscribed into her clothes."
 "How about Amelia? What technique is she using?" Melissa asked. "It's not the wind technique I gave her nor the water technique that Brian did."
 "A wind and water technique: Tempest." Louis said. "I'm surprised you found out so quickly. The changes aren't so dramatic in the early stages."
 "Did you modify the water technique that Shea and Carla used?" Elaine asked, looking up from his hands for the first time.
 "No. I just explained the technique to them and gave them some auxiliary arrays. I'm not well versed in pure water techniques." Louis said. "There aren't any quality techniques within the library."
 "Let me get this straight. You gave your sister and fiancee unknown cultivation techniques without permission; wasted all ten spirit stones on cultivation, after saying you will use it for alchemy research and you have no results to prove for it; startled everyone in the house by setting off a storm of qi; what have I missed?" Brian asked. "You do realize the consequences of your actions, right?"
 "Not my fault you guys didn't understand what guiding my sisters in cultivation meant." Louis said. "I wonder how any even bother cultivates with the manuals you give. No one explains or helps them, yet you people still expect results. It is only when something foreign happens that you all coming running with questions. Do you realize just how little progress they would have made without my help?"
 "No progress is better than being a guinea pig for your experiments." Tera said. "Amber won't even wake up, no matter how much I try."
 "Don't bother." Louis said. "Her soul is adjusting to its new situation, it might take a day or two before she wakes up, but she's fine. Let her sleep."
 "How can I trust you?" Tera said, putting her own body between Amber and him.
 "Like how you been trusting me with her cultivation for the past few years. It's not like this is the first time I have helped her." Louis said. He paused for a moment. "Wait until she wakes up tomorrow or the day after, then criticize me if there are problems. I'll take responsibility then. For now, just let her rest, there's nothing you can do. Let's ask my sisters about their cultivation, if that would alleviate your worries."
 Melissa woke Amelia up. "Can you show us your qi?" Melissa asked.
 Amelia rubbed her eyes as she nodded. Placing both hands together before slowly moving them apart. A silver qi began to amass between her palms, forming a small spherical cloud. Compared to yesterday, her qi was a shade lighter and nearly ten percent purer.
 "She's already reached late stage one star martial artist." Melissa said.
 Brian got up and woke Shea and Carla up. Shea produced a sphere twice as big as Amelia's with a turquoise color. Carla produced a sphere roughly the same size as Amelia's that had the same color as the water within the water park and canals, a darker blue but not yet navy blue. "Shea has become a two star martial artist and Carla is also a late stage one star martial artist." Brian looked stunned for once, but he quickly got ahold of himself. "What did it cost for them to do this?"
 "Properly explaining and guiding them so they can understand it. Making fun activities that immerse them with the elements and improving their spiritual strength and elemental affinity with the clay orb I modified." Louis said. "You know, the things that you guys never bothered to do. Those manuals you give kids are esoteric, without considering their kids thought processes in mind. How do you expect children to understand them?" He looked around the room with everyone silent. "Don't tell me just because they achieved it after a month of my tutelage, you thought they did it on their own."
 "We will talk about this after Amber wakes up. Either way, expect a meeting with the council of elders soon." Brian said, standing up. He looked at Strauss then left.
 Strauss looked at Tera then Amber before leaving as well.
 "Will my daughter truly be alright?" Tera asked.
 "I guarantee it on my life." Louis said, looking her straight into the eye.
 "I'm done treating your hands, Louis." Elaine said, as she released his hands and went to hug Shea and Carla.
 Louis opened and closed both his palms multiple times as he slowly rotated his hands. The skin had returned its original color and regained its moisture. All of the tissues and skin were restored.
 "Can you teach me how to heal?" Louis asked, looking at Elaine.
 "If, after everything is said and done, my daughters are alright, then alright." Elaine said.
 
Within the next few minutes, the women brought their daughters away. Louis remained alone in the room. The room was truly too big for one person to stay in. He much preferred when they huddled together. He didn't mind the emptiness, the loneliness, usually but being forced to be alone made things much more uncomfortable and isolated than normal.
Louis went to take a long bath. Within it, he began meditating, restoring as much qi as he could. Cultivating could take his mind off things, especially with him so close to a breakthrough. Although none of the spiritual energy and qi remained from the spirit stone, using six of them today pushed his spiritual strength to new heights and, once he restored his qi, he could immediately breakthrough. His qi restored slower than usual, even when accounting for exhaustion, due to his bad mood. It wasn't until just before dawn before he fully restored his qi and spiritual energy.
The Nine Revolutions Spirit-Body technique wasn't like his sister's technique, where his qi would change color every time he broke through from a stage - like mid stage to late stage. Rather than color, his qi would increase in qi quantity and purity. Each hair strand of qi contained the same amount of qi his meridians could hold if they filled his meridians without any revolutions. Sadly, until he opened his lower dantian, his qi wouldn't automatically restore itself. While these hair strands of qi were easier to restore than to create, they did take much longer than the qi in the outer layer of his meridians.
Like usual, Louis tackled the wind element first before the water element. Although the manor was within the depths of the Allyn family district, this manor had guests from various families who had all four elements. As such, the entire island had an elemental array that contained the balance of all four elements.
With his strengthen soul and increased spiritual energy, which had increased about ten percent, he revolved the water qi nearly twenty percent faster through his meridians. Within two hours, he completed the fifty-fifth revolution of the wind element and finally stepped into the seventh layer. His worries seemed to wash away as his body began to relax and loosen. Then, without stopping, he began meditating once again to recover water qi. This time it was much faster, the occasional, disruptive thought about what happened last night had disappeared. Within three hours, he completed both the qi restored and the fifty-fifth revolution of the water element.
Louis dried himself off before going to bed.

The rain turns into a storm. 
"Get on my dragon girls, it's time to go" 
I try to look back. 
"Don't look back," she scolds. 
With my head down I must obey her, I don't have the guts to look at Daddy. After what I did, I am the least indicated. I got carried away and told him that he was not our father, I almost killed him, if it weren't for Tera ...
The realization that Dad was always a sorcerer, but a rare one, very different from Isabel and me.

They throw themselves at him knocking him down, which makes Dad laugh sadly, who had already been cured.
"Sorry daddy" they cry as they say it.

Something pulls us with great force, which makes us return to our aunt's side.

She is about to do something, but her lawyer stops her.

Niko was taken aback by seeing this. A guild? This was odd, but Niko went on with it, it doesn't seem to be any other options for him other than placing a name and continuing, therefore, he taught for a second and simply placed, "Dark Hope" and continued.

Why Dark Hope? He was the hope for his sister who has been in this world for way too long. If she was still there he wanted to be one to protect and save her. He knew that the road towards her salvation would be dark, as he had experienced many dark things already. Therefore, Dark Hope seemed to be the best bet.

After claiming that name, a screen showing a customization for a flag appeared. After some time, he finally chose a flag with a black background surrounded by golden trimming, and in the middle was a ghastly skull that seemed to fade into darkness. The badge was perfect for him, therefore after he chose it, something amazing happened.

"Woah!" Ivanic looked around in awe, turning his body slowly as he observed his surroundings.

After picking the flag the inner castle began to change. Their furniture began to follow the color scheme of the flag he had just created, gold, black, and dark green. There were also some Gonfalon banners here and there hanging, with the flag on it.

"What is this?" Ivanic asked in awe, then suddenly stepped back in confusion, "Clan?" He asked as suddenly, his plain robes began to change. A flag appeared on the side of his arm, as well as the left side of his chest and back. The flag was the same flag that Niko had created, and this change did not only happen to Ivanic as it happened to Niko as well.

'Seems like there are some perks to this!' Niko thought to himself with a smile as he observed the surroundings as well.

"Invite the others too!" Ivanic was excited.

Niko shook his head and explained that those who wished to be invited needed to be near him, to receive the invitation. As Niko spoke, however, his mind did not wander from the map in front of him. At this moment, his flag was above a part of the map. There was a shade that was the same color as his flag spread out throughout. What surprised Niko the most was that other than his flag and his colors there were five other colors and flags.

The first one he noticed was almost right next to him, there was a blue and green ball on a white background. This territory and flag seemed to belong to a clan called. "Tera" which Niko presumed was the place he had just fled from. Tera's colors conflicted with his as they were next to each other.

This caused many questions to rise in his mind, but at the moment, he was too focused on the other territories.

The next territory was called "Sword Peak", and there was a lone purple sword in the center of a black background. Niko was also concluding that this was the territory of the old monster everyone in the settlement spoke of.

Other than these two there was another one that caught Niko's eyes, and that was a territory to the west. The territory was called "Pigs Den", and Niko began to plug in some of the dots, however, he didn't quite understand why this clan and Tera would be in a battle? Why did Tera not warn anyone? In Fact, the biggest thing that has been bothering him for a while has been the peculiar feeling he possessed in regards to humans not being the only race in this world. Surely those pig, Orc things had to be some kind of race. They seemed quite intelligent. If that is the case, where do these races come from? Why are they all here?

This was a strange situation that Niko still needed to understand, in addition, the pig clan was not that close to the settlement anyway. "Odd... " Niko murmured as he continued looking. A pig's head and two axes forming an "X" behind the head were the features of the pink and green flag, which to Niko was hideous.

There were two others and they were "The Church of Bati" to the east, and the clan called, "Green Alliance" to the north. The Church or Bati had a flag that consisted of two hands clasped together surrounded by four golden wings, in a white background, whilst the latter clan consisted of a dark green tree in the center of a light green background. Niko had no information regarding these clan, and as of this moment he was unaware of any extra features of this screen, however, he definitely planned on learning more. 

At this moment something else came to his mind, and that was what he would do? Niko pondered, 'There seems to be some kind of conflicts between different territories in this world, I am sure these other territories will make a move on mine… Should I lay low and try to act quietly? No! They might think I am weak, and like this, I will get nowhere in this world. They need to fear me! I want power, I want domination!"
