With the victory of Russia's Revolution, Mayakovsky worked on interpreting the facts of the new reality. His works, such as "Ode to the Revolution" and "Left March" (both 1918), brought innovations to poetry. In "Left March", Mayakovsky calls for a struggle against the enemies of the Russian Revolution. The poem "150,000,000" discusses the leading played by the masses in the revolution. In the poem "Vladimir Ilyich Lenin" (1924), Mayakovsky looks at the life and work at the leader of Russia's revolution and depicts them against a broad historical background. In the poem "It's Good", Mayakovsky writes about socialist society being the "springtime of humanity". Mayakovsky was instrumental in producing a new type of poetry in which politics played a major part.[11]

In the 1930s Socialist realism became the predominant trend in Russia. Its leading figure was Maxim Gorky, who laid the foundations of this style with his works The Mother and his play The Enemies (both 1906). His autobiographical trilogy describes his journey from the poor of society to the development of his political consciousness. His novel The Artamanov Business (1925) and his play Egor Bulyshov (1932) depict the decay and inevitable downfall of Russia's ruling classes. Gorky defined socialist realism as the "realism of people who are rebuilding the world," and points out that it looks at the past "from the heights of the future's goals". Gorky considered the main task of writers to help in the development of the new man in socialist society. Gorky's version of a heroic revolutionary is Pavel Vlasov from the novel The Mother, who displays selflessness and compassion for the working poor, as well as discipline and dedication. Gorky's works were significant for the development of literature in Russia and became influential in many parts of the world.[12]

Nikolay Ostrovsky's novel How the Steel Was Tempered has been among the most successful works of Russian literature, with tens of millions of copies printed in many languages around the world. In China, various versions of the book have sold more than 10 million copies.[13] In Russia, more than 35 million copies of the book are in circulation.[14] The book is a fictionalized autobiography of Ostrovsky's life, who had a difficult working-class childhood and became a Komsomol member in July 1919 and went to the front as a volunteer. The novel's protagonist, Pavel Korchagin, represented the "young hero" of Russian literature: he is dedicated to his political causes, which help him to overcome his tragedies. The novel has served as an inspiration to youths around the world and played a mobilizing role in Russia's Great Patriotic War.[15]

Alexander Fadeyev achieved noteworthy success in Russia, with tens of millions of copies of his books in circulation in Russia and around the world.[14] Many of Fadeyev's works have been staged and filmed and translated into many languages in Russia and around the world. Fadeyev served as a secretary of the Soviet Writers' Union and was the general secretary of the union's administrative board from 1946 to 1954. He was awarded two Orders of Lenin and various medals. His novel The Routdeals with the partisan struggle in Russia's Far East during the Russian Revolution and Civil War. Fadeyev described the theme of this novel as one of a revolution significantly transforming the masses. The novel's protagonist Levinson is a Bolshevik revolutionary who has a high level of political consciousness. The novel The Young Guard, which received the State Prize of the USSR in 1946, focuses on an underground Komsomol group in Krasnodon, Ukraine and their struggle against the fascist occupation.[16]

The first years of the Soviet regime were marked by the proliferation of avant-garde literature groups. One of the most important was the Oberiu movement that included the most famous Russian absurdist Daniil Kharms, Konstantin Vaginov, Alexander Vvedensky and Nikolay Zabolotsky. Other famous authors experimenting with language were novelists Yuri Olesha and Andrei Platonov and short story writers Isaak Babel and Mikhail Zoshchenko. The OPOJAZ group of literary critics, also known as Russian formalism, was created in close connection with Russian Futurism. Two of its members also produced influential literary works, namely Viktor Shklovsky, whose numerous books (e.g., Zoo, or Letters Not About Love, 1923) defy genre in that they present a novel mix of narration, autobiography, and aesthetic as well as social commentary, and Yury Tynyanov, who used his knowledge of Russia's literary history to produce a set of historical novels mainly set in the Pushkin era (e.g., Young Pushkin: A Novel).

Writers like those of the Serapion Brothers group, who insisted on the right of an author to write independently of political ideology, were forced by authorities to reject their views and accept socialist realist principles. Some 1930s writers, such as Mikhail Bulgakov, author of The Master and Margarita, and Nobel Prize–winning Boris Pasternakwith his novel Doctor Zhivago continued the classical tradition of Russian literature with little or no hope of being published. Their major works would not be published until the Khrushchev Thaw, and Pasternak was forced to refuse his Nobel prize.

Meanwhile, émigré writers, such as poets Vladislav Khodasevich, Georgy Ivanov and Vyacheslav Ivanov; novelists such as Mark Aldanov, Gaito Gazdanovand Vladimir Nabokov; and short story Nobel Prize winning writer Ivan Bunin, continued to write in exile.

The Khrushchev Thaw brought some fresh wind to literature. Poetry became a mass cultural phenomenon: Bella Akhmadulina, Robert Rozhdestvensky, Andrei Voznesensky, and Yevgeny Yevtushenko, read their poems in stadiums and attracted huge crowds.

Some writers dared to oppose Soviet ideology, like short story writer Varlam Shalamov and Nobel Prize-winning novelist Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, who wrote about life in the gulag camps, or Vasily Grossman, with his description of World War II events countering the Soviet official historiography. They were dubbed "dissidents" and could not publish their major works until the 1960s.

But the thaw did not last long. In the 1970s, some of the most prominent authors were not only banned from publishing but were also prosecuted for their anti-Soviet sentiments, or parasitism. Solzhenitsyn was expelled from the country. Others, such as Nobel Prize–winning poet Joseph Brodsky; novelists Vasily Aksyonov, Eduard Limonov, Sasha Sokolov and Vladimir Voinovich; and short story writer Sergei Dovlatov, had to emigrate to the West, while Oleg Grigoriev and Venedikt Yerofeyev "emigrated" to alcoholism. Their books were not published officially until perestroika, although fans continued to reprint them manually in a manner called "samizdat" (self-publishing).

A man walks up to the middle of the arena. He seems quite confident as a small smirk gives him an arrogant air. With a flick of his wrist, a huge engine appears from the white veil converting the mysterious object of the tournament.
The host does his job well to hype up the crowd.
"And now! This contestant is a talented and blooming student at the University of Georgia!"
The University of Georgia is the only university in the capital of Keltc[1], and though some especially smart commoners are allowed in, they typically never manage to graduate for a number of reasons. 
"His work has once managed to win the prize for most innovative experiments and his work is often praised by the professors teaching this young lad."
If this kid is publicly appraised for his work then his father must have some connections as a businessman.
"Only 20 this year and already dubbed the small genius of Georgia! He has now presented himself in this new tournament, how lucky we are!"
Marguerite rolls her eyes, which doesn't escape Mathys who laughs at the unexpected behaviour.
He brings out a flask, and inside the flask is a few litters of milk. Marguerite tilts her head slightly at the odd sight and asks herself what could possibly be made with milk. Her interest is greatly spiked.
He takes another flask which contains a clear liquid. The host asks him what is contained inside and he answers that it's a secret. Marguerite has an inkling that it could either be water or vinegar, but she doesn't see the use for water in this case.
He heats up the milk and does a series of tasks, and with each task, Marguerite's eyes widen even more. She becomes excited as the crowd becomes more and more bored.
In the end, he pulls out a weird blob with an odd colour from the solution of milk and vinegar. Marguerite can hardly believe it, this guy just made casein plastic!
The others look at his blob with odd looks at first, but what he does next finally brings out a good reaction from the crowd.
He starts to mould the plastic into very fine sculptures: animals, flowers, birds, you name it.
As the crowd admires his artistic skills, Marguerite is more amazed at his ability to figure out the chemical formula to make casein plastic without a guide. She feels her heartbeat become stronger and stronger as his fingers glide across the milky figures.
This man, he is the one!
The tournament continues for a while after that, and Marguerite fell in love with 3 other people: a woman making a water filter, a man boiling water without heat by reducing the pressure, and a child making a homemade bomb. The homemade bomb made her especially worried and surprised, but she felt that these concerned were not worth overlooking such talent.

Marguerite has decided to kidnap the 4 men she found in the middle of the worthless other contestants that presented themselves. She found it interesting how none of them was the winner of the prize, the first guy, who's name is Martin, went on a rampage about how none of them understands the art of his science and the beauty of his worldview. Marguerite found him quite eccentric but didn't let it bother her, a genius is a genius in the end.
That same Martin is actually currently yelling at everyone present in the room with him, complaining about the indecency of today's youth. Marguerite walks in laughing herself to death out how a guy younger than her[2] talks like a 50-year-old grandpa yelling at his mischievous grandkids.

In the age of the internet, article writers who can generate good content in a short time period are in increasingly high demand. However, writing articles or blogging under tight deadlines should not come at the expense of good writing. Having a maximum word count goal will help you not only help you complete your write-ups faster, but it will also result in a streamlined article that focuses on major points while eliminating fluff.
Try writing in bullet points. Writing in bullet points can help you organize your thoughts and complete the article faster. Also, bullet point articles often drive higher traffic, since search engine algorithms tend to prioritize articles with bullet points and subheadings. Writing in bullet points is not only a time-saver, it can also increase the likelihood your article reaching your target audience.
Edit after writing. One of the most common mistakes that writers make is trying to edit while they write. Resist this urge. Trying to edit while in the process of writing can slow you down, increasing the likelihood that you won't even make it past the intro. Good writers know that writing and editing are two distinct and separate processes. Once you've gotten to the end, then you can go back and focus on writing the perfect first line, sharpening your first paragraph, or tying things together with a clever kicker.
Set a timer. A great way to become a quicker and more efficient writer is to practice writing to a timer. Set a timer for 30 minutes and see how much you can get done. You'll be surprised how much you can produce during a half hour of focused, uninterrupted writing.

Marguerite is oblivious as she folds Arthmael's body into beautiful silhouettes. Following the familiar choreography, she dances relentlessly.

Grand Jete! Penche! followed by a series of graceful pas de chats. All concatenated in front of the enthralled emperor.

When the music reaches the outro in a full stop, Marguerite falls gracefully on the floor in a pose. She stays there and waits for the king to tell her she can leave.

She stays on the ground for a long time but hears nothing from him. Wondering if she did anything wrong, she wants to lift her head to look at the king's face, but quickly remembers the warning he gave her. If she disrespects him any further, who knows what he might do to her.

She suddenly feels her chin being lifted, her eyes meet the hazels of Demian. She forgets to breathe and falls from her pose onto the floor. She doesn't have time to regain her senses before two strong arms lift her off the floor.

She is about to question him on his weird behaviour when her mouth is suddenly covered by his in a kiss.

Marguerite is very talented. She has a beautiful voice, a great passion for music and various talents in the arts. Unfortunately, her bright future gets compromised when she is forced to leave her world to fulfill the wish of someone else. Marguerite wanting to go home as soon as possible, accepts. However things turn out quite unexpected for her.

At that moment, Hyunwoo's face brightened.
Chan Yun wanted to see Hyunwoo not just because of the contract on the story contest. Just like Hyunwoo had an expectation of his meeting with Chan, he had the same expectation.
Hyunwoo bowed to him quickly and said, "It's an honor to meet you. I respect you."
"It's an honor to me, too. As a matter of fact, I have wanted to meet you. Looking at Ani & Funny and KOVE DREAM, I thought your companies were a lot different from other companies."
"I'm flattered by your compliment."
"I'm not just saying that for no reason. I think the most excellent business is investing in men, not making money. When I looked at you, I thought you fit that kind of businessman perfectly."
Hyunwoo thought Chan was the very businessman that fit that type as well.
"Please excuse me for saying this, but can I call you as my brother? I'm younger than you and respect you sincerely. If you are available, I'd like to meet you often and learn about your life a lot."
"Hahaha. I stopped growing old since I was 39. So, if you call me a brother, I feel I can come back to 38. I feel very good about it."
Hyunwoo quickly stood up and bowed to him, "Then, I would like to treat you as my elder brother."
Chan also stood up and held his hands tightly.
"I can reassure you this. You will be a more successful businessman than me in about 10 years. I won't even dare to look at you then. I think I've dreamed a dragon dream as I have someone like you as my brother."
"Phew, I'm so flattered. Please talk down to me, brother."
"Okay, then. Hahaha."
Chan didn't let go of his hold until the meeting was over. Though they didn't talk a lot because of the appointment time was short, they felt as if they were close friends who had maintained their friendship for decades.
Hyunwoo felt that was the power of Chan Yun. Chan made Hyunwoo his man in about 26 minutes. 
"It looks like 26 minutes is 26 seconds. Time flies so fast!"
"Though I would like to contact you first, you're so busy… Please let me know when you are available anytime. I'll come running to you."
"Well, I'm relatively free during the weekends. Why don't we meet then? Can I call you at the number here on your business card?" said Chan, raising his card a bit.
Bowing to him, Hyunwoo said, "Yes, please. Anytime."
Chan then took his leave, saying he was sorry. 
Hyunwoo felt as if he was walking on air. The idea of the story contest was already erased from his brain, which meant that his meeting with Chan was impressive. 
Kyungsu and Jonghyon felt the same way. They accompanied him to help him out when he was discussing with Chan about the contest but didn't say any word. 
Still, their hearts were full like Hyujnwoo's.
In particular, Chan's praise kept ringing in their ears.
<You will be a more successful businessman than me in about 10 years. I won't even dare to look at you then.>
They felt Chan's prediction would come true.
Yea, Hyunwoo has that capability. We can grow when he grows to be a big businessman.
Both of them clenched their fists strongly at the same time. 

Several days later Hyunwoo received a call from Chan. He proposed a lunch on Saturday.
"Yes, I'll see you then."
On Saturday, Hyunwoo went to the appointed place. It was a quiet sushi restaurant. 
Hyunwoo and Chan came without any attendants. Thanks to that, they could have a frank exchange of personal things with each other. 
Even today Chan praised Hyunwoo, which was not just a figure of speech. He knew a lot about Hyunwoo, which suggested that he was interested in Hyunwoo a lot and did some research on him, too.
At some point in their conservation, they talked about their dreams. 
"What is your dream, brother?" asked Chan.
Whenever someone asked that kind of question, Hyunwoo didn't tell them about his real dream because they couldn't empathize with it. He might be misunderstood even as a smooth talker without showing any substance. 
But he felt he needed to tell Chan about his real dream frankly. To him, Chan seemed to dream a similar dream.
"My dream is to be the light of the world."
Hyunwoo felt bashful after confiding it to Chan. 
He continued, "It's a bit ridiculous, isn't it? Haha"
But Chan didn't think that way at all. He tilted his body as if he was seriously interested.
"Light of the world? I'm curious what it is."
"In fact, I'm all just slick talk, but there is nothing particular. If I may say, it is to give everyone who lives life fully a chance to succeed or help the students realize their dreams."
The more he talked about his dream, the more he felt bashful. In the end, all that was for the sake of Hyunwoo's own interests. For he wanted to develop others' talent and make them his assets. 
What he felt more burdensome was the way Chan looked at him. The more Hyunwoo talked, the more Chan seemed to be drawn to his talk.
Hyunwoo stopped talking with a hearty laugh, as if he couldn't continue any more.
"Haha, brother. You don't have to take me seriously. In short, my dream is like a cunning trick to develop good talented men and raise them as the means of my business."
"No, you can't say it is a cunning trick," said Chan, shaking his head strongly.
And he continued, "Of course, it is indeed good to help somebody by sacrificing oneself. But personally, I think your idea is much more commendable because it encourages common prosperity."
Hyunwoo scratched his head at his praise, but Chan was serious. It seemed he was touched by Hyunwoo's vision.
"I think one's mindset is more important than money. One's donation through one's sacrifices makes the beneficiaries feel a certain burden. Because they feel they have to repay when they achieve success. But I think those who receive your favor don't feel that way because the more they succeed, the more you also succeed. In that sense, their success means repaying your favor, doesn't it?" said Chan.
"Really? Hahaha" Hyunwoo said, smiling awkwardly.
But Chan didn't smile, but continued to say, "In fact, I had the same dream when I was young, and I thought I realized that dream."
He then told Hyunwoo about his story.
His dream was to open the opportunity for talented writers to develop their creative ability freely and establish a system for that. 
And its fruit was Story Mecca.
Story Mecca was not simply a website to host serials. Actually, it invested several billion won per year in discovering and helping new writers. 
In some respects, there was something in common between Chan's dream and Hyunwoo's. For the revenue of Story Mecca would increase as the writers achieved success. When that kind of virtuous cycle continued, Story Mecca expanded rapidly. 
Telling his story, Chan tilted his head, saying, "In fact, you can't have such a dream without a special occasion. In my case, I cultivated that dream, looking at those writers struggling financially. How did you start having such a dream?"
Hyunwoo never gave it a thought, but in retrospect, it was natural that he had that dream.
"Well, I was badly in need of such help. I was desperate at that time. So, when I saw those in need, I could naturally read their minds."
And then Hyunwoo told him about his hard times as a child. He had to bend over backwards to work hard to overcome the tough reality. 
But poverty was like shackles. No matter how hard he tried to get out, he couldn't. 
In that process, he could watch those who were in a situation similar to his. In his eyes, they were all excellent men with real talent. 
But their less fortunate situations denied them the chance to develop their ability. Rather they had to learn how to be trampled upon and succumb. At some point, they felt they were like bad products.
"I don't think there are bad products in the world. They just can't find their proper use. That's the same case with men."
Hyunwoo continued, "I would like to find the good and strong points of men and shed light on them. Then, their despair could change into hope, and their hope can breed their passion for success. It is my dream to change them like that."
Chan nodded his head and looked him quietly. 
Then he approached him and grabbed his hands abruptly.
With a surprised look Hyunwoo stared at him.
Chan began to speak in an emotional tone.
"As for your dream, brother, can I share it?"
"What?'
"Let's work together."
Hyunwoo felt a sting in the heart to hear that. Though he respected and loved his Story Mecca, he set up the plan which was opposite to what Story Mecca was now pursuing. 
His vision was to build an animation Story Mecca. Hyunwoo's new business was a potential rival from Chan's perspective. 
Hyunwoo asked with a curious look, "I don't get what you are trying to say."
"In fact, I had only half success of Story Mecca and failed in the other half. I made a grave mistake," said Chan.
It was hard for Hyunwoo to understand what he said. How can he say he had only half success of Story Mecca that dominated the online genre novels in the world?
Chan continued, "Originally, Story Mecca should have focused on genre novels. It should not have dealt with webtoons and animation. Its efficiency dropped drastically when it began to accept them."
Hyunwoo's eyes opened wide at that. It seemed as if Chan was reading his mind accurately.
"So, I'm thinking of splitting my business. In other words, I'm going to set up a separate site for webtoons and animation."
At that moment, Hyunwoo felt frustrated. If Story Mecca found such problems for itself and solved them, there was no reason for him to build an animation Story Mecca.
Suddenly, he recalled what Chan had told him a moment ago, namely his proposal to work together.
Hyunwoo cautiously asked, "Was the reason you have said that to me …?"
"Can you take care of the animation site?"

I was sitting in my office and was about to write a story I had no idea what to write I just finished training after I graduated University from three years, those three years were the worst years for my friend Elijah smith and I was the fault he died, but I had to do it for his sake. My assistant Harry brings up an idea "Sir why don't you write something that has already happened... like in the past two or three years" he says.
"I don't want to write about something that has happened for my first story"

" you don't have to write the exact details maybe change the plot, the characters and the setting and I'm telling you I've been an assistant writer for many years many of other writers did that"

STORY
I was out with my best friend Elijah Smith we have just graduated University a year ago and we are now writers in training. We were in a café with another friend called Joseph but we called him Joey for short the café was full and we had to wait fifteen minutes to get this table there were four seats and a table but someone came and asked us for the fourth one. We were sitting around chating until the conversation stopped and everything went quiet then Joey brings up something, "Eli why do want to get engaged with Lucy I mean I know you guys have been dating for three years now but do you really think you guys are there"
"yeah our anniversary is in a month and I would like to surprise her with an engagement" he says.
"when your ever in a conversation with Lucy when you get married remember these two words 'yes dear' it's just some advice" they both smile after I made the joke.
"Her mother isn't dead right?" Joey asks. "no she's still alive"
"Good luck" me and Joey say
"okay guys calm down... I mean I love Lucy and she's really cute"
"after three years of marriage I dare you to say that again" I say. Then the waiter shows up and asks us for our orders, I order a latte and a slice of chocolate cake, Joey orders black tea and a doughnut and Eli orders a cappuccino and a cookie. "I have something to tell you sir 'when I said I do I didn't mean laundry'" the waiter says and walks off and we all laugh, "how long was he eavesdropping" I say while laughing. As we were eating Eli grabbed his cookie and took a bite, "well I guess were all treating ourselves with high calorie foods" Joey says. "it's our off day from our diet" Eli says. Eli was heading to his home and as we go up the stairs we hear screams we were together quiet we were less shocked than him judging from his speed he goes to his dad's room and his mom and sister were beside him crying he goes to him and sheds tears of sorrow and sadness we both knew his dad really well he was really funny and healthy and it was his day to leave this world, me and Joey were sad and we were watching them cry upon his father's dead body, Eli shouts and says call  an ambulance me and joey call an ambulance and the expectations were true he really died It was the first time I see Eli this heartbroken as if he was crying and snivelling me and Joey spent the day with him, so we can keep him company this day started Eli's bad personality.

In a city with a population of zero, a threatening idea comes to a bored man. His name is Leonardo De Rossi he had black hair, grey eyes, pale skin, and a chiseled body. He creates a gang to obtain wealth. He gets members to join him, and his brother Alessandro De Rossi. Alessandro had Brown hair and grey eyes, and a less muscular body than his brother's. He makes this gang get money, power, and a valuable item he has his eyes on. He goes on an adventure of crime and theft. Will he and his gang survive this life, or will they end up dead or locked up.

Dear my reader don't spend stones or rate 
i have writers block if you sre wondering how i have writer block on chap 2 of the story then let me tell you times already made up the story to chap 50 or so but than i reread it again and i was not. happy with it so i started to re write it again but can't. think of anything i feel is good enough for you guys as i am writing this i have already rewritten the first chap 30 times already i will write a short story with a max of 10 chaps to help cure my writer block officail story will start when i feel it is good enough

Hi there… I know, I know, I like disappearing on you guys. What to do, it's more fascinating to be the reader than the writer. Kuddos to all those writers who keep a daily schedule; guys, I admire you! This time, I'm trying to be a good writer though and I thought, maybe, if I enter this story in the webnovel's contest then my motivation to write would be boosted, somehow, hopefully. So I'm going to take this story down and repost it –since only new entries are admitted-. The inconvenience is that even if I delete all chapters, the information about the story itself won't be deleted; so, instead of that, I'm going to post a short story at its place. Won't be a love story. And it's a bit of a weird story. Not 'until death' level of weird but still weird. It will be titled 'mending a broken relationship'

"A man..." I started.
"A man?!" bursted out SShmurr in excitement. "Your story is going to be about a man? How unusual!"
All his eyes were brimming with purple light, some of them turning happy red. 
"Er... It's not such big deal. Half of our planet's population are men,"
Me, being a proud soul, wouldn't accept praises undeserved. SShmurr dimmed and plopped his whiskered head on my paper in disappointment, an easy-to-do motion with him occupying leisurely my whole desk.
"Then, what would the other half be?" he asked, obviously just being nice, bearing little expectation for such shithole.
"Those are actually women."
I knew he wouldn't like the situation. It was even worse than he'd thought.
"You are saying some of you are men and others are wo-men, which is very much the same as I see it. Don't take it to heart, I'm just summarizing."
Looking at devastated Sshmurr I didn't have the nerve to tell him we can't even levitate and radiate multicolored rays.
(Sshmurr, murmurs gloomily:) - Why would you do such a thing? Why would you write about somebody so boring?.. Why wouldn't you write a story about somebody magnificent like... me instead?
(Me:) - You? What are you by the way?
Sshmurr rolled on my desk playfully making mobile chargers, pens and spectacles fall down like spring rain on the floor with melodious thumps and clinging.
(Sshmurr, coquettishly:) - What do you think?
(Me, sincerely:) - Hm. A hallucination?
You can definitely recognize a bad answer when your cellular hits the ground and acquires a granny-willow-from-Pocahontas-looking crack across the screen. For Sshmurr, unhappy is very much the same as evil.
(Sshmurr, unhappy:) - F-f-f-f! A muse! I'm a muse! Can't you tell?!
Despite Sshmurr's gorgeous blue-and-orange-and-octarine fur and his iguana-like snout, for some short time I couldn't, but seeing my 10' PocketBook crawl towards the edge to join the cellular, in an instance, could.
(Sshmurr, scornfully:) - Writers! (keeps sulking) ...pathetic... writes about men... doesn't write about magnificent ones…
(Me:) - You see, it's not about who, it's about tough choices, despair and sacrifice, life and death problems. Important stuff, you know.
"And then what?" my muse asked without excessive interest. "Are you going to walk barefooted but hopeful from town to town telling your story at markets and pubs? Will anybody listen and pay?"
(Me:) - ... Mda...
(Me:) - That's not how we do it here. I will publish it on a website among thousands of other novels, where nobody will read it, and start writing the next part. Meanwhile I'll waste a tremendous amount of time promoting my publications at social nets and conferences where no one gives a damn. To say nothing of writers' communities where millions of graphomaniacs gather in forlorn hope to make other graphomaniacs read their opuses.
Babam! That was Sshmurr, shock-stricken, having followed the cellphone all the way down to the floor.
"What the f-f-f-f?!" he asked in disbelief without even paying attention to his suddenly shifted vertical position.
(Me, afraid and startled:) - Have you hurt...
Sshmurr was struggling to get his elegant and yet well-fed body back on the desktop using the unlucky drawers as stairs and the floor - as a renewable starting point. Now my desk was harmonious fengshui: a mess inside as much as outside.
(Me:) - Have you... (looking around to esteem the damage) I feel like I hope you have... Oh, anyways. My character dies in the end, you know, sacrifice and all, so most likely those teenagers and housewives wouldn't really care... 
"Why would you..." - started Sshmurr again but interrupted himself and took my face in his two first paws.
(Sshmurr:) - You know what? You and your character, that boring man... I really sense big problems, sister. Dunna know about life and death, more like the head and brain...
He took some time to find good words for me.
(Sshmurr, cordially:) - Do not write anything... ever again.
(Me:) - ?..
(Sshmurr:) - Better... rub my belly!
(Sshmurr:) - ... and keep drinking from that bottle for me to never disappear.
Now, that was a tough choice indeed: to continue as a web-writer exploring life and death problems in my masterpieces or to rub Sshmurr's belly. Still, there remained one unsolved matter.
(Me:) - But who will praise me for being a good writer in the comments? At least once a year?
(Sshmurr, already on his back, readily:) - You are a good writer!.. Purrr... Yeah, so good... a bit lower, please.
(Me:) - Say that again.
(Sshmurr, happy and relaxed:) - Next year.

That's a short but unbelievable event taken place right here on my writer's desk. You may see it as my fantasy all you want, it doesn't make it less real to me.
