Some authors in chat talked about a book's worth. 

Most agreed that its value depends on the readers' willingness to pay for a novel. And the most selling here in WN are romance and h e n t a i.

Honestly, it is true in a sense that most authors who don't write these two genres or have the general audience receive lesser income to none. However, there are also other genres that are popular.

What saddening is that a story which has no s** will be buried deep in the list of books.

One time, a person told me that he won't read books without s**. I think you understand what I mean.

Sad... 

Those good literary authors will just choose Amazon. I totally agree with that.

But, is that what really makes a book valuable? So, the authors will just resort to writing stories with s**  since most will welcome it.

I feel sad if it is.

I've been reading and watching epic and classic stories like Mary Poppins, The Twelve Kingdoms, Fushigi Yuugi, The Vision of Escaflowne, Star Wars, Anne of Green Gables, Pride and Prejudice, Little Women, and others. 

These are great books but I'm not sure if the new generation is still reading them.

Hoping they are.

So, what is the worth of a writer? Of a person's storyteller's heart and creativity?

Will it just be buried deep in isolation? Will it just be following the flow of readership and abandon its desire to produce good stories?

I disagree. We still love good stories. There are still more readers who love good reads. In fact, these type of stories are more engaging and imploring. Those epic stories won't be called epic if no one reads them anymore. They are classified as such because their worth is beyond trends.

They simply go against the flow and create a tsunami, leaving people awestruck.

That is the type of book I want to write. I prefer to be remembered as an author who writes good stories without compromising the principles I believe.

Don't get me wrong. There are still good books with a bit of those s** things out there that you can read. But they don't focus on those scenes but on the story itself.

I am a person who never follows trends. And I care less what people call me. I will rather be true to myself than to follow the crowd and lose my self-respect.

In my opinion, the worth of a story is not only on the business side but also on how much heart and effort the author gives to his/her books.

To authors: Let us enjoy writing good stories. Let us be proud of what we write for not everyone can be authors. And not all writers can finish a book. The truth, most books here are unfinished.

To readers: Support good books and give the authors that confidence to continue writing good stories. Without your support, the authors might give up. If no one read good stories, then there's no point on writing one. But I believe most readers still love those type of books.

-I have been not active for months,
How am I? Well I'm doing fine, that's what we all say right? Actually school just got finished and a lot of things are happening to our world, like the Virus named NCov. Good thing I don't have that.


Feb 11, 2020
       I confessed to my crush.
First I said "Hey, I liked you" and he says he likes me too. I was so happy because he is so sweet, kind and loyal. But as time goes by I started to feel like I don't love him in a way like I want him to be my boyfriend or it's just my friend who is his ex likes him again. It's okay if my friend still likes him I guess? But problems starts to come again in my life, I failed my exams (actually I'm an Honor Student), my parents started to compare me again to my sisters and different people, I started to act bad again that's why I hated myself more and more, I avoid my crush until the time that I said I want him to be my friend only and he started to act like the way he used to (Silent and Sad inside), I wish I could tell him all my problems but I think telling him about how I feel will make him sad too so... I just hide it. Weeks passed and I started to talk to him again and became like the old days where we are so close and talking like everyday but still he didn't notice my pain every smile, every laugh that I showed to him.

Until the end of the school year came and he talked to me with his friends and says "Umm...Hey, wanna talk about your problems?", I was shocked and wanted to tell him everything but I don't want to tell everyone know about it so I just said "Hmm? I don't have any problems dude, Haha" and I said goodbye while I regret what I did.
He chatted me online and says sorry that he's with his friends and we can't talk alone together, he says he wanted to hug me but when he saw me he frozed, I say it's okay and he promised me that he will hug me when the next school year starts.
I still love him like as a crush but I'm scared he only think of me now as a friend so I just keep it inside, I haven't cut/slit my wrist for months now because I'm trying to avoid any self harm but as I keep the pain inside my attitude changes a lot until I feel nothing anymore. Well my family don't even care about me like they don't talk to me, and if they will it's only because it's needed.
It's okay though because I don't feel sadness anymore because I'm used to it.
I started to stay away from social media and other apps so that I could be more active like doing activities in home but until now all I do is sleep.
I download apps for depression chats but it doesn't work for me. Until I just gave up and just go with the flow in this world, Idk anymore.

Everyday before I sleep my Anxiety came back again.
The Feeling of fear of Dying.
Things popped up in my head like what will happen when I die? Will my world just turn into black? Am I going to see everyone? Can I still touch myself? Will I go to a peaceful place where I can find the peace in my self? Or will I be reincarnated and just forget my past life?
When I get old, can I still do lot of things? Will my children leave me or stay? Am I going to be alone or with my husband? Can I still meet my old friends and spend time together?
Idk. Nobody knows.
As I listen to a music  "Lofi".
I sometimes felt calm, sad or lonely.
My crush starts to talk to me again and tell me a lot of happy things and I sometimes blushed secretly (in Chat) But today he came offline again and says to me that he will not be active for days... I miss him.
And I miss my old self too...

Hi, Here i'll tell you a story about a girl with depression.

the fear of unknown has always been there,
been there for so long that it makes me scared,
I'd never want to think of the future to be honest,
it feels like it's too fast and fills me up with more interest.

the way how i see the world is changing,
the way i see the flowers bloom,
the way how i feel the world is spinning,
it makes me feel so blue.

if ever i could see the future in my eyes,
could i see how i survived this hellhole?
could i see the brighter side of life?
could i even know what i was before?

i know you're staring at me,
you stare at me in the night while im crying in my pillow silently,
you wonder and count the tears I've shed,
you don't want me sleeping with rough covers but you want me to sleep in featherbed.

you wander around and read the notes that i wrote,
wrote a lot of poems and quotes,
every word sounds like keynotes,
you want me to receive love and use it as a coat.

whenever im sad you always remind of how i am strong enough to hold on,
you always reminded me of how I've faught endless battles and won,
you never want me to be sad or so,
because you said that you already know.

Don't worry me,
i still got it.

Just then Father Shelton along with grandpa Shelton entered the banquet hall. 
Father Shelton rushed towards his wife and helped her to get up from the floor. 
"Honey, What is happening?" Mother Shelton asked
"It's board members decision and we have to follow it." Father Shelton said 
"But —" 
"Darling, This really helps our company growth and moreover we got a chance to collaborate with  Francis cooperation which is like a huge opportunity for us in this situation." Father Shelton said 
"Dad, what about me?" Erica asked 
Who was still sad and angry with the fact Lisa is getting everything and she is losing her identity in front of her.
"Shut up. Because of your stupid information, we falsely accused Lisa." Father Shelton snapped before walking away
Erica frowned and about to say something but grandpa Shelton stopped her.
He chuckled and said "I want to say I'm feeling very sad for both you but the truth I'm so happy, In fact, I'm so excited to see you like this. Heartbroken, jealous, anger, frustration words depict your situation right now. It is fun watching you like this." 
"Grandpa." Erica snapped
"Shhh, you have to be quiet and calm when you are in great trouble." Grandpa Shelton said
Turning towards mother Shelton, he said "I already told you that don't mess with my princess but you never listened to me. What happens at the end? You have done many things but you got any gain from your bitchy works? No right, this is want we call KARMA. And there is a popular saying called KARMA IS A BITCH BRO which suits you right now."
After saying this grandpa Shelton walked towards reporters.
Reporter 1:- Sir, why did you suddenly resigned for CEO position?
Father Shelton smiled and said, "I think I have to  give my daughter a chance."
Reporter 2:- Sir, there is news that you don't like your first daughter. Is it true?
Father Shelton wrapped his arms around Lisa's shoulder and said "That news is fake. Please don't write such articles in future." 
When reporter about to ask another question, Father Shelton interrupted him and said: "No more questions please, I have to spend some time with my daughter." 
When reporters nodded their heads and stepped away, Father Shelton turned towards Lisa and said "Can I talk to you for five minutes?" 
Lisa chuckled and said, "Do you think I will spare my five minutes for you?" 
When Father Shelton lowered his head, Lisa sighed and said "Father and daughter relationship that we used to share ended up just before half an hour Mr Shelton. Now I'm CEO of Shelton cooperation and you are a respected board member." 
After saying Lisa walked away with Ryan while Father Shelton smiled and thought 'You are exactly like Daisy, Sweet at heart but rude at the mouth.'

"Babe, where you want to do it?" Andy asked
"What?" Amy asked who has no idea what he was talking about
"Making babies" Andy shamelessly said
Amy rolled her eyes and said "Stop being shameless Mr Francis"

"Babe, I think we should prefer bed first and then we can try different places like couch, wall and many more. You know bathtub and car is also a good option." Andy shamelessly said 
"If you won't stop talking shamelessly don't blame me if I cancel this honeymoon." Amy glared at her husband 
"But darling —"
Cutting him off Erik whispered, "Everything is ready." 
Andy smiled and nodded his head before turning towards Amy. 
"Babe, I will be back in two minutes," Andy said and walked away along with Erik

"Kat—" 
"I prefer Kathy," Kathy said in a very firm tone
"Who is that man?" Leo asked
"He is Daniel, my family friend," Kathy said 
"Thank god, I thought he is your date," Leo said while hugging her tighter
Kathy pushed him away and said "Who said he is not my date? We are seeing each other for almost one month now. I think he is the best choice for me and for my family." 
"Babe, you can't —" 
"I'm not your babe Mr Leo." Kathy snapped 
"What happened to you, honey? We love each other right? my heart will prick when I see you with another man." Leo said while holding her shoulder tightly
"Cut your crap," Kathy shouted 
When Leo lowered his head, Kathy sighed and said: "Our relationship got over Leo, will you please come out of your shell and lead a happy life?" 
"But Kathy, I still love you," Leo said 
"I don't love you and I don't want to lead my life  with drug dealers like you." Kathy snapped 
"Babe, I know my profession is illegal but I never done anything which is unethical." Leo tried to explain himself 
"Why did you hide your identity?" Kathy asked 
"I thought you will leave me but I never thought to hide my profession will create this much differences between us," Leo said
Kathy chuckled and said "So you purposely did everything? You purposely lied to me about your real identity. You know, I felt like a fool when my dad showed me your deadly videos. How can you kill a woman mercilessly? How can you —"
"Wait? What did you say? I killed a woman mercilessly? Do you think I can kill someone just like that without any reason?" Leo asked 
"I don't think what reasons you have but I hate you for doing such things," Kathy said
"Kathy —" 
"Stop it, Leo, I hate you and I don't wanna marry you. I don't want to see you around me again in the future. I hate our presence, it makes me suffocate." Kathy said and walked away from him
Leo stood there in a daze and closed his eyes to control his overwhelming emotions. How could he explain to her that he killed that woman because she tried to harm Kathy? How could he explain to her that he is not that bad person how her family portrayed him to her? How could he explain to her that she is the only woman in his life? How could he explain to her that he can't live without her?

Wedding banquet
Andy took a deep breath before walking towards the Central stage. 
Andy smiled and looked towards Amy while holding a microphone in one hand.
Just then Amy's candid pictures along with their childhood photos flashed on the big screen of the banquet hall.
Andy smiled and said "I want to say many things. I wrote and memorised many quotes and sayings to dedicate for you but now I feel those are nothing in front of you. I never believed great sayings like 'love is composed of a single soul but inhabited by two bodies' but I started believing sayings and quotes when you are around."
Pausing for a while Andy said "I think many of you doesn't know how we ended up being together. After committing so many mistakes and walking into the wrong way, I finally realised my love towards her and she is my wife now."


"Sir, we have an appointment with Mr Jones within fifteen minutes," Amy Miller said

"Cancel it, I don't want to be late for my own marriage," Andy Francis said

"Wait? What? Are you getting married? With whom? Why we are not informed?" Amy asked anxiously

"I think I'm the boss," Andy said

"Sorry sir," Amy said and lowered her head

"Okay fine, let's go," Andy said before holding her wrist

"where?"

"How can I marry without a bride?" Andy said while moving out of the office with Amy

we planned to go on a trip together. not far. for one week. To L.A . where dreams come true.
i was very excited about the trip.
My family was okay with it. they already knew what we were doing. they liked josh, so it was okay.

it was the month of July, my exams were finished. And I got busy with my boring life, reading books and novel, posting sad quotes of my own on my facebook page "HAUNTED TIMES". That time i was reading a novel "THE BOY WHO LOVED" by "DURJOY DUTTA" sir. It was suggested by Riya, she is a very good friend of mine. In short she's my soul sister. spoiler alert..!The Boy Who Loved" is the story of a school going boy called Raghu Ganguly who lives in Delhi with his family. On the outside, he is just your regular guy – loving parents, good academics, a respectable family with decent means. But that is just a façade. Deep down Raghu harbours a secret guilt – that he had let his friend down; he had let him die.Raghu likes to show that there is nothing remarkable about his life - loving middle-class parents, an elder brother he looks up to, and plans to study in an IIT. And that's how he wants things to seem - normal.
Deep down, however, the guilt of letting his closest friend drown in the school's swimming pool gnaws at him. I played the voice mail over and over again wanting to hear his voice one more time. I new he wasn't going to come back to me. I've listened to this recording for a while I just can't get over him. Every time I let someone in they always leave me. I've never had anyone stay. I'm ready to die I just thought I'd write my letter first.

Letter:

Dear Marcus,
I'm sorry. I'm sorry I wasn't enough  for you. I'm sorry I couldn't be there for you. I'm sorry that I'm useless. Everyday I woke up thinking that you were going to leave me. I prayed you wouldn't be sick of my insanities, or my panic attacks. I prayed you wouldn't so you wouldn't see the me I saw in the mirror. I didn't want you to leave because I knew that I didn't want to be alone with my thoughts anymore. I'm sorry I was so sad. I'm sorry I was so clingy. I'm sorry for driving you away but I can't do it anymore. I can't sit here breaking into more pieces every painful second. Every second without you was like getting stabbed in the chest. I shouldn't care so much but I do. I didn't want you to give up on me because then I would've too. I feel empty and numb. My eyes have cried until my cheeks are permanently stained. There's nothing left of me and I'm sorry. I can't stay here. I can't stay alone with my thoughts. I was in live with you, but now it's clear you didn't love me back. He seemed to think that his story could convince her.

There was something off here. But what if he's telling the truth? There hasn't really been any clarity with his movements lately but it's nothing that suggests that he is an enemy. Just marry the damn man and take everything.

"So why are you here without any contractors or anything?", she asked, with a raised brow.

"Do I need them to drive me here too? Like I'm not the mayor of this town? I mean, you know I don't like taking them with me everywhere because of the type of businesses we do. And this, is one of them.", he said looking around the mine.

She smiled at him.

"That's ironic because the mayor of this town does, indeed need to have bodyguards with him, everywhere. Don't you reckon? Let's go."

Sergio took the gun from her and put it in his jacket. Then, taking her hands, he said, " When the dawn comes, when the light touches the land, flora responds no matter what happened before. Yet we are more complex than the simple bloom, than the plant that stretches confidently into the rays of each fresh sun. Yet after all this time waiting for gold to spill over the mountain peaks, for a new day to come, to feel real warmth once more - I find myself stretching into the direction of your sunny rays. I guess this is trust. It's been so long that the feeling feels new. Maybe it is. I guess that's a pretty sad comment on the state of our world, on modern culture and where it takes the human brain. Perhaps it takes this long on your periphery for that trust to come, as a shy kitten from a deep hole, unsure of what the brightness ahead promises. But I have a purpose, and you do too, one that is compatible and unique. I guess it helps that I love you. I guess this trust is developing as a photograph does, needing the light to come when the picture is well formed. I can see it already. I want it already. Yet I leave the timing up to the wisdom of the positive universe. If we only get one shot at this, I want the best one, and though the waiting is killing me, I'll do it if that's what it takes to get you and me right."

She cackled and replied, "There are lots of folks who can talk the talk, but show me a man who walks the talk - then I have trust, then I have faith in him because the language of Love is not spoken but lived. I don't care what you say, I'll watch what you do. That doesn't mean I won't love you or be your friend, but then it is I that will gently lead you and not the other way around. Show me my err and the roles reverse. You don't have to be perfect and neither do I, we learn together, catch each other, hold more ideals than we can live up to - yet keep walking even though all say the dream is only a dream. Dreams can come true, just dream the right one in the language of Love and know what it means - strong hearts, brave souls, complete and healed minds. Let's get married and have children of our own. And when you retire, I want to take care of you."

Aisha didn't know that such things were living inside of her. She surprised herself.

When love is given in this way, immediate, no explanations, the trust arrives too. Perhaps that is why people advise caution or call it foolish, but to me it never is. Love is love, always a gift from the divine spirit. This love isn't physical, it isn't a "sin" to feel such strong affections; it isn't an excuse to leave a relationship that has become difficult. Lover, this is a journey; I want to discover who you are. If I try to make you into some ideal given by others, I will never know your heart and soul. That would be a loneliness for us both. So let us drink from the same cup of life yet remain our true selves - two souls joined yet forever unique. This love is a clue to a possible new branch in a life. This new person maybe someone you will one day protect, rescue or nurture. So even though trust is so foundational to all human relationships, it doesn't always first, it can come as part of a sudden package deal."

The paradox of our age is that when we feel the fear we need to educate us about the dangers of a polluted and frightened world, we are pushed down into our primitive brains - the part of us that evolved to deal with immediate danger requiring violent and impulsive solutions. When the fear leaves us, we are able to access our higher brain, the part of us with logic, empathy, self control and steady determination. By this time, however, that feeling of urgent need has passed, biologically we are back in "good times" mode and we fail to act with appropriate urgency. This is the paradox we need to fix. We need to be afraid without being frightened, able to use the higher brain while remembering a sense or feeling of urgency so we make the right choices.


Sergio leaned forward, his warm breath in Aisha's ear, then he hums the song they used to sing on karaoke nights, in Mexico. His lips, the ones that really didn't want to smile tonight, creeping into a fake grin. 
Sergio keeps on humming until Aisha takes him in a bear hug and kiss him. 
I'm sure she swears that I am an expert on keeping her heart beating, without me, I'm sure it would simply stop.


Sergio linked his fingers into Aisha's hand and she shot him a look that was all love, just the right hint of softness, a crease at the corners of his eyes. Both of them repressed grins as they walked into the mine.

Before the troubles it was a beautiful thing to be lovers, after all, how can two people who love be offensive? Not anymore. The bitterness has grown faster than the sidewalk weeds and the notion of "purity" is brandished worse than any weapon. It is the obsession of the powerful, what we commoners may and may not do. It's like they fear love itself, like it's love they want to put in a cage, convict it as an emotion too dangerous for the masses. So what now? 

If fun has to be the "right sort" it isn't fun. If music has to be "the right sort" it can't lift the soul. If "love" must be sanctioned by those in power, it will die and leave a hole in our hearts to be filled with hate and depression. It's no wonder young lovers are caught every week, shamed in the town square, and punished in medieval ways. Love is something we all need to keep us going, those that don't have any become the monsters of our nightmares, intoxicated on the power of the new order.
