Nana POV

'As Tsuna grows up. He was a bright kid that learns everything at a fast rate and I showered him with all the love I can.'

'When Tsuna was five years old. Iemitsu suddenly comes home along with someone who he calls his boss. They stay for a week and when they leave Tsuna was suddenly changed. His body becomes clumsy and his learning skill also become bad.'

'I was trying to break the seal for two years. But all I do is useless. When I thought to bring him back to the clan and let grand-uncle check him up, this happens.'

Third POV

Two months after searching for Tsuna that didn't have any results, Nana was stressed up. And go to drink in the town.

But, before she does that. Someone was calling out to her.

"Nana, what are you doing here?"

She looked back to see it was one of her cousins Kure Yakusa. When she looked at her it was like a flood that broke the dam and she cried it out. Telling Yakusa about everything.

Hearing Nana story she decided to send her back to the clan where her grand-uncle decides to let her raised her orphan cousin Kure Karla to take her mind off her missing child.

After finding out what's her husband job and what has he done to her child and abandoned her when in her need. She was quite vengeful that she broke the seal she places on herself.

With Kira

It was morning the next day. The gang has chosen their teammates. Tiffa with Juugo, Karin with Kimimaro, Aletia with Shizuo, Yakumo with Hidetora, Chrome with Tio, and Anri with Shia.

They were given a company each for registering in Kengan Match. Tiffa with a food processing company, Karin a Pharmacy, Aletia Game company, Yakumo Publishing company, Chrome Hospital, Anri a weapon dealer.

After assigned them to their respective company Kira thought who will he chooses as his fighter. He has two choices one is Killua who is now living with Aluka peacefully in the countryside or he can go recruit the demon prefect Hibari Kyoya as he was also planning to hire him as the head of his security company later.

After thinking for a while he decides to try recruiting Kyoya first. 

<Nanimori Town>

After school ends, Kira immediately goes to Nanimori. Right now he was in front of Nanimori High School as Kyoya was the first year here.

Kira spread his En to engulfed the school and find Kyoya. After finding that he was sleeping in the rooftop Kira go to a secluded place behind the school. After ensuring that there is nobody watching him he jumps to scale the building.

As he arrived at the top, he got close to Kyoya who still asleep.

"Hibari Kyoya, I've got something to talk to you"

Hibari opens his eyes and immediately enters a combat stance while looking warily at Kira.

"Wao, Predator since when are you here?"

"Hmm, 'Predator?' what a nice thing you call me. And I've just arrived next to you right before I called out. Your reaction speed still not up to par. Just now if I was an assassin sent to kill you, I can kill you in so many ways."

Hibari frowned "What do want? Trespassing the school grounds is breaking the rule I'll bite you to death"

He says then starts attacking Kira with his tonfa. He dodges him easily while picking on Hibari opening once in a while.

After fully assessing Kyoya strength right now. Kira immediately beat him until he can't attack again since he was so stubborn.

"Hey, Hibari-Kun would you want to fight a strong opponent? There is this fighting arena where the business tycoon sends its fighters to fight and the winner gets whatever they are betting on." Hibari perked up hearing this fighting match as he clearly interest.

"I want you to become my fighter. But, as you're now you will lose easily. So I'll train you for a while by fighting you every day. I also will cure that illness of yours as that can become a hindrance. So, are you up to it?" Kira said looking at Hibari who is still laying on the grounds.

Hibari getting up from his position then dusting his clothes. "You better not lie to me. Okay, I'll be your fighter."

"Good, now let's go to the hospital first. So we can cure your illness first." Kira said while walking away after telling him to follow.

After they arrived at the Hospital Kira lead him to the VIP room then told him to get into the healing pod.

While waiting for the healing pod to finish its work. Kira was creating a training menu for Kyoya. Two hours later, after Kyoya treatment was finished. Kira sends him home while telling him that they are going to start his training tomorrow.

Two months after that day his activities after school was going to meet with Kyoya, then they will start sparing with each other.

Kyoya was really a freak. Every day after each spar he would become stronger and stronger. And when he knows that after each spar he will get healed with the healing pod, he starts to fight recklessly pushing himself to the limit again and again. So after two months of training, he already became as strong as Tora now.

"Kyoya let's end the spar now." Kira said looking at Kyoya who still have a fight in him left.

"What are you saying I'm still can fight." said Kyoya stubbornly.

"I know that. It just that you have reached the standard to fight in Kengan Match in my eyes."

As they got in the position. The Judge announced the start of the fight.

"But when did you become interested in history? Let alone the Ming Dynasty?" Jiang Dejun quizzed, still with doubts.

"There's a quote online that sparked my interest and gave me inspiration - There is no China without the Qing Dynasty and no Qing Dynasty without the Ming Dynasty. I became very interested in the Ming Dynasty, so I collected information and began to write a book about the Ming Dynasty. A lot of it is thanks to your collection, Dad! Otherwise I couldn't find such a wealth of information on my own."  Jiang Cheng said, pointing to the thick stack of history books on the computer desk.

Bright Moon was his son.

It's been some days since Rei had sent his novel to a publishing house and he finally received their call.

"Well, when I first read your novel, I thought of you as a old man with lots of life experience but when I found out that you are a high school student, I thought you to be a shut-in or a geek type"

"Really"

He nodded and Rei felt that the man was rather interesting bluntly saying it.

"Well, let's talk in my office"

Rei nodded and they both went into his office. The office was not too big nor it was small but it was cramped with a lot of manuscripts.

Nagamo-san smiled in embarrassment as he noticed Rei glancing in his office.

"Well, it is not always this cramp"

"Really"

"Yeah, there are a lot of manuscripts which came for our yearly writing competition. So, I just thought to read those which manged to get into the final selections"

"You really do love reading, right"

Nagamo-san smiled when Rei asked this question to him and he answered confidently.

"Yeah, I do"

* * * 

After they sat down, Nagamo-san offered Rei a cup of tea and Rei started drinking it while talking to Nagamo-san.

After some casual conversations, they finally came to the main point.

"Let's talk about your novel"

"Yeah"

"Your novel was good, it was really good. Personally, as a reader, I will surely use my money to buy this book but let's talk about some problems which I find in this book"

"Problems?"

"Yeah, there are some parts which I will like you to change. Don't get me wrong, your novel was good especially coming from a 16 year old. I am just saying that there are some parts which may not…sit well with the readers"

Nagamo-san thought that Ren will be offended by his words, so he tried to put it as nicely as he can. A author have a lot of pride for his work and Rei was still a kid, So it is justifiable for him to not to listen to his editor.

He didn't wanted Rei to get mad and publish this book with some other publications. He really wanted to take this work under him, that's how much he had liked it.

Rei was also not offended by his words. If he was the same Rei of the past, he might have gotten offended but after going through hardships, he had matured considerably.

"Please tell me about the problems"

"Ah, you didn't got offended by my words"

"What is there to be offend to, your words are justified, I don't know if my novel was good or not but you have read it, you can tell me about the mistakes that I did and if I can correct them, won't it make my novel better"

Nagamo-san just stared at Rei slightly stunned of his answers.

He felt that he was talking to a experienced author not a high school kid.

"…....You are really mature for your age"

"You could think so"

Rei said with a smile and that was the start of his first conversation with his editor.

When Hua Shu enters his room, there are already two men inside the room. They're wearing a white lab coat like what the doctor usually wears. It surprised Hua Shu a bit since he's expecting the room was empty. Besides those men, there's a game pod similar to what Hua Shu saw before in the briefing, and some computers in the table near the pod.
Hua Shu: "Ah, excuse me…Am I enter the right room?"
Those men smile when hearing this question
"If you are Mr. Hua Shu, then you enter the right room. Ah, right…let me introduce ourselves. My name is Ma Ling and he's my partner Ke Chu. We're assigned to assist and observing you during the test"
Hua Shu: "Oh, is that so. I'll be in your care then. May I know what I should do for the testing?"
Ma Ling: "You can start by putting your belonging in that cabinet first, Mr. Hua Shu"
Ma Ling pointed at the locker cabinet in the room. Hua Shu nodded and opens the locker and put his bag inside the locker.
Hua Shu: "Alright, what's next?"
Ma Ling: "Before the testing start, I will tell you about the game pod first since I believe this is your first time using such a gadget, right?"
Hua Shu: "Yes, this is my first time using such a gadget. Is that true we can play games for days without leaving the pod?"
Ma Ling: "That's something you'll be experienced yourself, Mr. Hua Shu. In fact, we're expecting the tester can stay within the pod in weeks not just days"
Hua Shu: "Oh, that's what avid gamers dreaming of. You know, it's hard for gamers to leave the game just to eat or for the natural call when they're in a crucial moment in the game, like in attempt of defeating the last boss"
Ma Ling: "Yes, we aware of those circumstances. That's the purpose of this pod created in first place. Since this pod is still in prototype, all procedures will be handled manually to avoid mishap from happening. Later when this pod enters mass production phase, it would be a fully automated one. Do you want to know how it works?"
Ma Ling pointed the wires and cables connected the pod with computers within the room.
Hua Shu: "Yes please, if you don't mind"
Ma Ling: "No, not at all. In fact, we glad if the tester show interest with how the pod work. Well, there's no one use the pod, so I can't show the works of this pod fully, but at least you get the gist of the operation system. You see, in this panel, we monitoring the temperature inside the pod, in that panel we monitoring the user condition. On the other screen, we monitor the operation of the pod, the energy system, life support system, etc. it's a complex system which integrated many independent systems into one big operating system. Is that easy to understand, Mr. Hua Shu?"
Ma Ling shows Hua Shu the display in the computer's screen which connected with the pod.
Hua Shu: "Yeah, I get the picture of how the system works somehow. But isn't this can be operated by one person only?"
Ma Ling: "Hahaha…You jest, Mr. Hua Shu, we're not a robot, we also need rest from this work, you know? I and Mr. Ke Chu take a turn in observing the gadget and the tester. That ensures you that you'll never be neglected and always in our care. Other testers also have two observers in their respective room"
Hua Shu: "Ah, that's surely assuring. When we should start the test?"
Ma Ling: "As soon as possible will be better, Mr. Hua Shu, since we must run some pre-test first and make sure the pod working properly. We also need to attach some measurement instruments in your body to check the result"
Hua Shu: "No problem. We can start right away. Should I enter the pod now?"
Ma Ling: "Not so fast, Mr. Hua Shu. May I suggest you take a bath first before entering the pod?"
Hua Shu tilted his head because of hearing this suggestion.
Hua Shu: "Erm…may I ask why you give such a suggestion, Mr. Ma Ling?"
Ma Ling: "Well, we will conduct the test in the condition you enter the pod without anything attached to your body"
Hua Shu: "EHH?…EHHH??…AHHH!!!…You mean, we do that test…in naked?"
That explanation surely beyond Hua Shu expectation, even in his wildest imagination.

Well, that’s all true. But for me is playing the game you like and still get money or get paid for it.

Hua Shu, a university student and game otaku, get invitation to become beta tester for a new game along with 3 his roommates. The new games title is “Zombie Hunter” take setting in after apocalypse world where zombies and mutants roaming all around the world. The tester who manages to survive until the test period ends will get ample bonus and prize.
Wait, doesn’t it sound so normal? Like ordinary game you play?

But not in this story.
Why? What’s the secret? What’s the hint?
Sorry, no spoiler, just read until the end.

[Sir, we have three hours before we enter the galaxy. I advise that we begin the Cerebral Chip implant now] Core said.

"Alright, I guess we can begin the transplant now." answered Edward as he stood up and headed to the hospital deck. "I am already sterile so we can begin  the operation immediately."

[Certainly Sir. If you would please lie down while I administer an anesthetic]

Edward lied down on the cold metal table in the middle of the room. Numerous robotic hands began to appear from the walls and the floors of the room. When the anesthetic was administered, Edward was put into a deep sleep. Then, the robotic hands began to make a quick incision on the back of Edward's head. The skin was quickly cut and lasers made a small opening on the center back of Edwards skull. A small microchip full of nanobots was inserted to Edward's head and it quickly began to integrate to his brain. 

Because of the nanobots in the chip, the moment the cut part of Edward's skull was returned, it began to heal in an instantaneous speed. The skin was then sewed together and an ointment was applied to the wound that made it close incredibly quickly.

After another hour of resting, Edward was jolted awake with slight electrical current he felt in his brain. It was the AI Chip successfully connecting to his brain.

"Oh God, I really do hate that sudden jolt of electricity in my brain." Edward thought to himself as he stood up the metal table. "Where are we now Core?"

[Sir, we are near the Earth-like planet. In about 5 minutes, we will enter the planet's orbit]

"Good. When we enter the orbit, activate the Satellite Mode I installed in the software yesterday. Also, keep a copy of yourself on this ship so I still have contact with it. And prepare my Landing pod for launch." 

[Certainly Sir]


Edward walked towards the screen of the ship. "Would you look at that, there are landmasses and the surface is blue. It really is like Earth! I do hope there are some animals. I don't think I can survive on plankton and vegetation."

[Sir, we have reached the orbit of the planet. Initiating Satellite Mode now…]

The space cruiser suddenly turned off its artificial gravity and it turned up. It looked almost like a boat with its bow upright. As soon as the ship entered Satellite mode, it began to take the course of the planet's orbit.

[Satellite Mode successful. The Landing pod is now ready for you Sir.]

As soon as core said that, Edward immediately floated off to the Landing Pod. He was feeling very exited and slightly nervous. 

When Edward reached the pod, he was a little surprised. The windows of the pod was completely covered with thick metal. All the glass were reinforced and there was a thick black tint coating the glass, making it impossible to see outside. 

"What did you do to the Landing pod Core?" Edward asked. 

[I reinforced the entire pod Sir. Because the sun-like star in the middle of the galaxy has not been studied fully well, it is better not to risk having any UV Rays coming into the pod and harm you.]

"I see. Thanks for that."

[Sir, please wear your space suit. The planet is not like our Earth. It is better to be safe.]

"I know, I know…" Edward answered. He has already worn the space suit, which was similar in appearance to a scuba diving suit with a oxygen mask attached. 

Edward entered the landing pod and strapped himself in before giving the order.

"Deploy the pod!!!" Edward shouted. 

The Landing pod was immediately deployed and started to descend down the planet to a random spot in the landmass. 

*CRASH!!*

The smoking hot Landing pod had made contact to the ground. Landing successful!

As soon as Edward opened the pod door, sunlight began to shine directly on his eyes revealing the surroundings. A lush green plain can be seen with gigantic boulders littering the area. An ocean of trees, each nearly hundreds of feet tall borders the edge of the plain.

"Amazing! Even back at the Andromeda galaxy, only one or two planets were as healthy as this one here!" Edward was incredibly thrilled. Usually with trees like this, signifies the existence of animals at least something of mammalian or reptilian characteristics. "looks like I wont be going hungry after all"

In spur of the moment, Edward had suddenly removed his oxygen mask, knowing that the existence of trees means the presence of oxygen in the air. However as soon as Edward removed his mask, he suddenly felt a strong pain enter his head.

It was absolutely excruciating!

[WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! AN UNKOWN TYPE OF RADIATION HAS ENTERED THE HOST! RETURN TO THE POD IMMEDIATELY!]



Edward struggled to get back to his pod. As soon as he closed the pod door, his vison suddenly went black and fainted.
