This is my first book here in Webnovel. This book is a Story Poem, it's all about how you interpret the meaning, depends on what your perspective is when you read the book so, I guess it kinda accommodates every reader. It's the magic of reading really, your own imagination is your limit. I'm game for tips about writing and improving. I hope you all like my book, it isn't much as of yet and I'm kind of a beginner, so yeah, hope you guys appreciate it and I wrote this book well, because I wanted to try it and I love writing as much as I love reading.

My poems were the first I wrote. Track record of how I became a writer. About love, sincerity, ignorance of what people say; the most important thing is my world is calm. Starting from the meeting stage, loving secretly, until the stage of letting go, now (me and my feelings) are immortal in poetry. || Temporary hiatus, currently composing poetry into a story.

"So, what genres do you enjoy reading the most?" He asked, while looking around the library, he seemed to be looking for something specific. "I-I know n-not many p-people do. B-but I l-love poetry." Malachi looked at me, his beautiful brown eyes glowing with excitement. "Are you serious?" He asked, I could hear the excitement in his voice. He led me through the library, seeming as though he was being timed. "Here we are. I have a secret to tell you." He said softly, as he leaned in to whisper in my ear. I could hear the calming sound of his breathing. "I absolutely love poetry as well." He whispered. As he stood up straight he smiled. "So, we can be weird together." I was so happy to know that we were very much the same. "So, who is your favorite poet?" He asked, while looking through the books in the poetry section. "I-I would have t-to say Araya Vanburen." I answered, looking to see if they had one of her pieces in the library. "Hmm, I thought I had heard of everybody. Do you see any of her pieces here? I would love to hear some of her poetry." I looked and looked. I was just about to give up when I saw it "Poems by Araya Vanburen." H-here it is" I said, as I slid the book gently out of its space. "What's your favorite piece she has written?"  He asked, as I looked through the book trying to find the piece I so adored. "M-my favorite piece would be 'Why Do They Cry?" I said, as I searched through the book, looking for the piece I had named. "They were made to see joy and happiness, yet all they see is pain and sorrow. They were made to see the beauty and love in God's creation, yet all they see is a dark and fallen world." I read, lost in the sad and hopeless feelings this piece shown. You could almost hear the feeling of sadness and desperation in the author's voice. I had felt many of these feelings, I had felt a lot of this pain. But I had read this poem, and I knew that even though it seemed dark, sad and hopeless, hope was about to be declared. I continued reading softly and slowly. "But one day, they will see love and beauty like never before. They will see the glory and honor come to the one who created them. When will they see all this? You may ask, and the answer is, when they are opened." with a sigh I finished reading and looked up at Malachi. "I-I hope it w-wasn't too boring to you. I just r-really enjoy her w-work; and sometime g-get caught up in i-it." I said, as I put the book back in its space.  "No! It wasn't at all boring, it was beautiful. I've never seen anyone get so captivated by a poem. It must mean a lot to you." I nodded, as I watched Malachi take the book back out of its space and lead me to the checkout stand. After he checked the book out, we joined Melanie at the table. "Here Lamia, I thought you might like to read this book, it's really good I've read it about three times." Melanie said, as she handed me a book entitled "My Summer Luv by Lisa Jackson." The cover was gold with a shadow of a man and a women dancing. "W-wow, it l-looks as if it would b-be good." I said, as I slide my palm against the cover; admiring its beauty. (I'm so happy.)

This novella is quick, sweet romance. Kate was with her boyfriend for two years in a dead end relationship. A chance sighting at a job interview places Kate at her dream job and in the presence of her future. She meets Ernst who is seemingly living a double life. Fate draws them together for a HEA. The story was told from a third party point of view. It was very descriptive and the plot was clear and easy to follow. While you knew the plot and where it was going, at times the wording was very stilted, which could lead to some confusion when reading. This also made it difficult for me to connect with the characters and truly invest in the story.

She had a thirst for knowledge and a mind that persevered
A prompt from Byron to write a ghost story, she considered
Morning after morning when all she replied with a negative
It was from one of her wakeful nights, a story she would give

She saw her ghost fable in front of her eyes, with signs of life
She was frightened and spent the night in uneasy wakerife
She began writing her dream and it became "Frankenstein"
She realised that she had stepped out from childhood wherein


When two of her children met with unexpected death
She turned to writing, weeping and holding her breath
She channelled her thoughts on her political freedom
She came up with novels and plays in creative wisdom

She financially aided the women whom society disapproved
It was not in boast, but simple justice that she was moved
She was a political radical throughout her life with empathy
She reformed the society through cooperation and sympathy

"Give back the paper, not the one that was entered in the competition." Said Dewa
 "Alright, this is good," replied Ningsih
 "Don't be (with a frown)"
 "Alright, this is it?"

 Until Dewa gave up persuading Ningsih.

 "(God said with a melas face), OK"
 "So that's it, love you with Dewa."

 And they both walked to the office and when they got to the office they immediately gave nasakh of Dewa's poetry to the committee.

 "(Handing out a poetry manuscript, Ningsih said) This is a poetry script from our class."
 "(While receiving their script, Mrs. Neli also said), we accept this script."
 "Thanks ma'am" they said in unison.

 After giving the God script they headed straight to the class.  Arriving in class, they talked.

 "Ah, you mah, right because of you I was scolded by that IPA girl" complained Dewa to Ningsih.
 "Well, sorry Wa" said Ningsih
 "Even though yes, I wanted to send a love poem, only I already gave that one, okay?" With a sad face
 "Huh ?, love poetry for whom?" Asked Ningsih in surprise.
 "For you, hahaha, oh yeah, ask for your WA number please"
 "What for?"
 "Yes, just make friends to chat"

 Not thinking long, Ningsih immediately gave her WA number to Dewa.  And after school and when he arrived at Dewa's house, he immediately chatted Ningsih.

 "Hmm, this is Dewa" Said Dewa in chat Wa
 "Yes Wa, what's wrong?" Asked Ningsih to Dewa
 "Nothing, save my number," Dewa ordered to Ningsih.

 Two days later the class meeting began.  And the first race on the first morning is futsal.  However, the gods who were the reserve players didn't care.

 He immediately looked for a quiet place in the classroom just to read the novel "I" while his friends supported another friend who was playing futsal.

 After the futsal match, Ningsih went to class and found Dewa there reading the novel "I".  Then Ningsih went to Dewa.

 "Wa, how come you don't support our class anyway?" Asked Ningsih to Dewa
 "No, because I'm reading a novel," answered Dewa
 "The novel continues"
 "Hehehe, because this novel is good"
 "How about it, I want to see (While getting closer to the body of the god and poking the belly of the god)."
 "What are you?"
 "No, look at Wa, I also want to read"
 "This (While bringing the book closer to Ningsih)"

 They both read novels together.  When they are enjoying reading the novel, they are unknowingly watched by one of their friends, Deri.

 Who was watching them from the classroom window.  Not long after, Deri entered the classroom.  However, before that Deri called the other classmates first.

 "Ciee, ciee (Compact with other classmates)
 "What are you doing?"  Asked Deri
 "Why aren't you dating?"  Asked Ilham
 "Nothing," answered Dewa
 "Alah, lie, could it be that you guys want to do something perverted?" Asked Arif
 "Are you crazy, Rif?  (Asked Ningsih), yes, we want to do pervert, after all, where does Dewa want to be with me?  (Make no mistake) "
 "Hahaha, ciee Ningsih, ciee, apparently you secretly like Dewa, huh?"
 "No, just kidding"
 "Alah, lie (said Dita teasingly)"
 "You really like me, do you?" Asked Dewa
 "Nope. (While leaving God with an embarrassed face)"

 After a while the bell arrived home from school.  And after the evening prayer, the gods chanted Ningsih.  Because Dewa also thought about Ningsih's words that had been ignored at school earlier.

 "Assalamualaikum, Ningsih" greetings Dewa
 "Waalaikum greetings, Wa (Ningsih replied), what's wrong?" Asked Ningsih.
 "Sih, do you really love me?" Asked Dewa
 "Hmmm, what do you do, Wa? Actually, yes, it's just that I've been going out with seniors, Wa (Ningsih lied just to test how much God loves her)"
 "Well ... then why did you even say that you like me? I brought feelings, you know."
 "Hmm, really, really, Wa?"
 "Yes, because I really love you"
 "Seriously, Wa?"
 "Yes, Hmm"
 "Actually, Wa, I don't have a boyfriend, I just lied to you just to test how much you love you"
 "Hemmm"
 "If, you really love me, after the announcement of the winner of the poetry competition, tomorrow you shoot me directly in class"
 "Hmm, really ?, but is it accepted or not?  (Ask Dewa to confirm seriousness, Ningsih) "
 "Yes, God, dear"
 "Okay, tomorrow I will shoot you directly"

 The next day when the announcement of the poetry contest in front of everyone.  Dewa approached Ningsih who was alone with Dita.

 Not long after that, Dewa's name was called out as the first winner in the poetry creation competition.  Dewa went to the stage to stand in front of everyone.

 However, Indri already stands there as the 2nd winner and Indri looks at Dewa with an annoyed face, but they don't talk to each other.

 After the distribution of the gifts, Dewa approached Ningsih just to express her feelings in front of everyone.

 "Sih" Said Dewa to Ningsih
 "What, Wa?" Asked Ningsih.

 Dewa immediately revealed his heart to Ningsih through a poem that was read in front of everyone.

 "I am a writer and you are a rising sun that drives away the cold morning dew.
 I am a writer and you are a dove in a cage.
 You are alone and contemplating the fate of those who eat the carcasses.

 I am a writer and you are a flower that spreads the flowers to make them look beautiful.
 In this garden life is a story to tell and time is as short as a short story.

 However, I am a writer and you are a waterfall that falls from the hills you wet my body with love.  But I don't understand longing, you turn into a bright sky and I am a writer who doesn't understand pictures.

 Life is a gamble that has to sacrifice something for something.
 But, I am a writer and you are a book, I spill the words for me to stick in you so that you will become verses of poetry. "

 And because of Dewa's poetry, everyone except the teachers looked at Dewa and Ningsih.

 "(In low voices the students said) accept, accept, accept" said the students, clapping their hands.
 "(With an embarrassed blush, Ningsih replied), hmm, yes, I want to be your girlfriend"

 After that incident, Dewa and Ningsih were dating and were often together at rest time and often joked during study hours.

 Until they both often get punished.  However, their relationship didn't last long because when they exchanged HP.  She gets a man who claims to be her senior and also claims to be Ningsih's girlfriend.

 Because of that they both broke up.  Then he composed a poem to reveal the incident and gave it to Ningsih through the paper he wrote.

 "Resurrection
 I made it rain
 Fall lost in the forest
 Incarnate early morning dew
 Didn't say anything.
 Turns into an empty hallway
 Silence without a sound.
 And does love always leave scars?
 Memories are only shadows
 Face is just a memory
 A grin is just a clap of hands
 I left in the story.
 Because the horizon and horizon always promise light after dark comes.

 Because of the incident, they both became enemies.  Doni and Jepri are aware of the incident because they are in Indri's class, namely biologic 2.

 So, Doni and Jepri invite Dewa to the class.  Until Dewa too often played to their class, not only to meet them but also to see Indri.  Until he asked for Indri wa number.

Synopsis

 Love fortitude

 Dewa and Indri are students at a high school in South Lampung. When Indri first met Dewa, Dewa was very ignorant, and spoke a little that was the character of Dewa.

 When in 11th grade high school and one night Indri was robbed and Dewa helped him but Dewa lost and he was seriously injured and rushed to the hospital.

 When they had graduated from school they separated. How is the continuation of their story? Because this is my first novel, please keep updating it, please like and follow, so I will be more enthusiastic about writing it.

''Let's start with the basics,'' I say as they both look at me with confusion and curiosity/. We're currently in the dining area and they are seated across from me, notepads, textbooks, reading materials and pens are sprawled on the table along with their bookbags. ''Mrs Gomez said out test would be based on poetry right?''They nod in affirmation. ''Good. So far, we've discussed three poems: Ode to a Nightingale by John Keats, Crossing the Bar by Lord Tennyson and The Schoolboy by William Blake. What exactly do you need help in?
They both pause for a minute before Jason responds. ''Definitely, the Ode thing you just said.''
''Ode to a Nightingale.''
''Yea that.''
''And if you can briefly explain the others, it'll be highly appreciated.'' Ryan adds hesitantly in a bid to not test my patience. I smile a bit and he visibly relaxes. Jason avoids my gaze, looking at everything, from the tables, to the pictures on the wall to the fruit basket.
Is there something on my face?
''First thing's first,'' I start. ''In order to know about the poem we need to know about the poet himself. John Keats was a Romantic poet born in the 16th century and…''
''What's a Romantic poet?'' Ryan interjects. ''Do they like write poems about love and stuff?''
''Not quite. Romantic poets are those who wrote during the Romantic era. I don't want to go full on nerd on you, but the Romantic era was a cultural and intellectual movement that originated in Europe towards the end of the 18th century. That era was characterized by individualism and poetry of that era started to take on a more human form, not that poetry of the 18th century wasn't like that, but with the Romantic era, it was different. Emotions such as awe, horror and admiration were highlighted. Some poets focused their writing on eulogizing nature as seen in the works of William Wordsworth and P.B Shelley while others focused on the supernatural like Edgar Allen Poe and Nathaniel Hawthorne.''
They both give me blank stares like I'm speaking in a foreign language and I sigh. ''And you don't know who they are.'' They nod wordlessly and I silently shake my head.
Worsworth, Hawthorne, Poe and Shelley may not be in our curriculum this year but Mrs Gomez did mention them when she was giving an introductory class on Romantic poetry. It peaked my interest so I ended up Googling poems written by these individuals and found them fascinating to say the least. To think that such words of wisdom came from humans just like me is really inspirational.
I can only aspire to be like these wonderful poets.
Mum comes around from the kitchen carrying a tray with mugs of hot chocolates. She settles it down in the middle of the table and we say a quick thank you to her and continue.
''They're not important,'' I say calmly. ''All you need to know is that they are Romantic poets and John Keats happens to be one of them.'' I check the time on my phone briefly. ''Okay, so do you have a printed copy of the poem?''
''Yea,'' Ryan says and stretches his right hand to get a rumpled piece of paper from the side of the bag. Jason brings out a folded paper from his manila file and settles it on the table. 
''Great. FYI, I started reading the analysis of the poem yesterday case it's been a while so I'm a little rusty.''
Jason gives me a sideway smile, his aqua blues firmly planted on mine. I give a sideway simile of my own, my hands gripping the paper in front of me. You know, it should be a crime for someone's son to actually look this good. Jason always gives off this I-just-rolled-out-of-bed-but-I-have-money-vibe which on anyone would have looked repulsive, but on him, it's making my stomach turn in a good way.
And again, that is very very bad.
Ryan coughs loudly and we both look away. I clear my throat loudly and he grabs a fountain pen. Ryan has a knowing look on his face and I know he had seen what had transpired between us but said nothing.
''Right,'' I say after a beat. ''Ode to a Nightingale is a regular ode with eight stanzas and a regular rhyme scheme. Basically, the poem explains how Keats is in a state of discomfort and he envies the imagined happiness of the nightingale. Keats longs for wine to numb his senses and take him out of his misery per se. He wants to be in the world of the nightingale because in his delusion, he thinks the nightingale is without troubles and worries which, when you think about it, makes sense because he says that his life is full of pain.'' 
They nod their heads and I continue. ''Add this to your fun facts about John Keats: He died of tuberculosis at the age of 25.''
''That's horrible,'' Ryan sympathizes, his face downcast. ''He never got to experience life fully.''
''Indeed. So you kinda see where he's coming from when he says he wants to be in the world of the nightingale. Thinking about it thoroughly, don't we all want to be in the world of the nightingale? I'd trade a world full of happiness and love for this dump of a world we're living in right now.''
And I put that on everything.

I spent the better part of 2 hours explaining to Ryan and Jason the importance of the poem and why John Keats actually wrote the poem. We also discussed the various themes and the significance of the Nightingale in the poem. After the 'class' they seemed satisfied enough and even took notes down which caught me by surprise. I guess being on the basketball team is a huge deal to them.
Of course it's important to them, they're captain and co-captain.
Also, let's be real, their popularity cred would totally diminish and they'd be shamed all through school if they fail. While I do not want that to happen, it'd be funny to see the roles being reversed for once.
''You did good, sweetie,'' Mum says as she joins me on the dining table. Jason and Ryan had left a while before dinner with an external amount of gratitude to my mum. I didn't think Jason could be polite, but he was kissing my mum's ass a few hours ago. Of course, mum being who she is, invited them to come over at any time.
''I'm proud of you.''
''I'm proud of me too.'' I did a good deed today so that should score me some extra points in heaven, right?
''You put pettiness aside and helped out your school friends,'' I give her a pointed look and she corrects herself. ''I mean acquaintances.''
Better.
''I raised you well, Mel,'' she says with a satisfied smile and a look as if reminiscing about the past.
She really did raise Sophie and I well. I would never trade my mum for anything in the world. When my dad left and decided that being a parent is too much work, mum picked up the slack and made sure that we were taken care of didn't want for anything. Even if Sophie and I wanted something and she couldn't afford it at the moment, she'd make sure that she'll still get it, albeit at a later date. We may not be rich or have the luxuries of the world, but fuck those, I have my sister and my mum and that's enough for me to die a happy teenager.
I do not want to die at all, at least not now, but you get my point.
''That boy, the one with the chestnut hair?''
''Jason?''
''Yea, him. He looks very familiar. I can't put my finger on it but I feel like I have met him before,'' Mum says with a frown on her face. ''Maybe I've seen him at the mall or something but I know him from somewhere.''
''Maybe you remember him at the yearly parents-teachers conference?'' I suggest. She shrugs. ''Maybe.''
''When you're done, turn off all the electrical appliances and check if the doors are locked. I don't want another burglary incident,���' she mentions with a chill in her voice. Last year, our apartment was burglarized. They stole valuable family heirlooms, including all the jewellery that Grandma Maggie passed down to mum, money and a few trinkets that Grandpa Harry gave her on her wedding day. Long story short, it was a devastating day, we filed a police report and the culprits have not been caught.
Fuck the justice system.
''Sure.''
''Goodnight, Mel. Don't stay up late or you'd have a brain fart.''
I snort and she squeezes my shoulder. Making a left, I hear her footsteps trudging up the stairs until they were no longer audible.
A message pops up on my notifications. Unlocking my phone, I open it and see that it's from an unknown number.

I beam a little and close the phone, taking in the days ' events in one breath.
