I did it! I really did it! I can't believe it!

When I went to the counter, Malik-san was talking with another adventurer so I sat down at the nearby table and wait patiently until they finished their business.

"Yes, I want to take the Calhea request. I'm planning to leave in 3 days, please help me with the administration work."

"Ah if it's Chris then it's no problem! Please take out your guild card."

Apparently the male adventurer is going to take a quest, I know it because he's taking his card out. I continue to observe quietly while waiting for my turn.

I think he's around 30 years old? He looks taller than Malik-san but not by much so he's probably 2m. He has two swords on his back, a two-handed warrior huh. At the first sight his hair looks black but when I take a closer look it's actually dark blue. It's so fluffy and has slight perm, his hair looks really stylish.

He has long half bangs on his left eye with a tear drop mark. His droopy eyes is pretty too, it's purple. He has high nose bridge and plump lips. Somehow, this man leaks erotic pheromones!

"Ren? What's wrong? Do you need something?"

Malik-san suddenly calls out to me. I was too enraptured by the man that I didn't realize I had been staring at them blatantly! Both of them are looking at me now!

Feeling embarrassed, I stumble my way to Malik-san and the male adventurer.

Uwaah,he looks even more sexy up close.

"Umm, Tord-san told me about Calhea request and I planned on taking it.."

"Really? Well I just happened to take the same request as well. Do you want to go together with me?"

Oh, this guy looks strong, Malik-san might approve him, no wait! Even when there was strong looking guy, Malik-san also rejected them because they had ulterior motives!

"Hmm, I think it's good for you to experience different kind of quest. Okay, go for it, Ren."

Oh?It went easier than I expected. I didn't have to persuade him at all.

"Chris, this is Len, he is an otherworlder and also my son. He has high amount of magical power but his only forte is support magic. Would you mind escorting Ren to Calhea? It's fine if you guys go on your own ways when you reach Calhea."

"Ah, the infamous son. Sure, I don't mind."

Oh so we're going to travel back and forth together. The sexy man (Chris?) easily accept Malik-san's request.

"Nice to meet you, my name is Christian Hast. Please call me Chris. Once again I will ask you, would you like to go to Calhea together with me?"

"Nice to meet you, I'm Ren Himukya Cleva. Please call me Ren. Of course, but since I'm an otherworlder, there are lot of things that I don't understand, if you're willing I'm more than happy to receive your guidance."

We introduce ourselves.

But really this person, even his voice is so soft and sweet. I feel like I'm going to be swept up by his sexy pheromones.

"What a well mannered child. Shall we have a seat and have a small talk?"

"Okay."

Chris-san pulls me to the nearest table. The way he did it is so smoothly, I'm sure he is the popular type.

"I plan on leaving in 3 days by horse. What about you, Ren-chan? Are you going to rent a horse as well?"

Ren-chan?!

He said it so easily! Ah I feel like I'm going to lose if I were to correct him, let's leave him be.

"Ah, I'm sorry but I can't ride a horse. I planned on going by foot actually.."

If you go by horse you can reach Calhea in one day. Since Chris-san is going to go by horse that means I have to go alone then. I've never camp outside before so I'm going to ask Malik-san what should I prepare for my journey.

"Is that so. Then let's ride together but the horse will get tired easily with two people so it will take longer for us to reach Calhea. Probably around one day and an half?"

"Eh? But I would feel bad if I were to intrude on you.."

Ride together?!

Is it safe to ride it together?! Usually one people ride one horse, right?!

"I already told Malik-san that I will accompany you. Besides, it's not a problem for me to ride with you."

Uwah, he winked at me. It looked so natural that I don't have anything bad to say about it.

"Then, I will be in your care if it's alright with you."

"Yes, I would be pleased if we can go together. This is your first time doing subjugation quest, right? And you specialize in support magic,right? I will count on you for giving me buff magic, please. As for restoration magic, I doubt I will get any injury during the quest but if I do, I will be in your care as well."

"Yes! I'm an F-rank though so my experience is still lacking but I will do my best!"

"Ah F-rank huh, you're really a beginner huh. How nostalgic~ As for me, I'm A-rank. I've heard from the rumour that Malik-san is really protective over his son, now  I understand why though, you're too cute for your own good."

No wonder Malik-san easily gave me his permission! I've been going to the guild everyday but I've never met an A-rank before. Rather than that, what did he say about me and Malik-san??

"I didn't realize there's such rumour going on. It is true that Malik-san is really concerned about me but I don't think he's too protective."

"But Ren-chan, despite your young appearance you're already over 18 years old, right? You look so young and so adorable too. Of course it's normal for Ren-chan's papa to be protective. I'm the first person that he approves, right?"

W-Well he is right.

I'm already of legal age and Malik-san also knows that I've been living alone back in Japan but he's still keeping me on tight leash.

"Maybe it's also because I only able to use support magic. Nevertheless I'm going to do my best so I won't worry Malik-san too much!"

"Yes, you can't keep on hiding behind your papa's back. If Ren-chan cannot prove yourself, I doubt your papa will allow you to bring your lovers home. Ah but that kind of thing is still way too early for Ren-chan huh~"

Even Chris-san says it's too early…?But..back in Japan I've had girlfriend before..

"Umm, actually I'm 21 years old. Back in my previous world, I've had girlfriend before and I also lived alone. So I don't think it's too soon for me.."

"Oh is that so? I can't see it at all~ But are you sure it's not a 'boyfriend' instead? Because Ren-chan you're so small and cute like this."

Geez, this reaction again.. Even though my height is the standard height back in Japan. I don't feel happy at all at being called cute.

I'd prefer being called cool rather than cute.

"Well back in my previous world, my height is average actually and the girls are around 160cm too. Though back when I was dating, I just went along with the flow actually."

Chris-san is already kind enough to guide a beginner like me. I don't want to cause him any unnecessary trouble,if I can I want to prepare everything in advance to avoid troubling him.

"I see, then shall we go shopping together tomorrow? We only need a day and a half to reach Calhea Meadow and there's also village there so we don't need to buy much though."

After that, Chris-san and I made promise to go shopping together at 12 o'clock. I forgot to properly take the quest so I come back to the counter but Malik-san isn't there. Maybe he went home first?

"Master are you out of your mind!? Why is Lightning Twin Sword Chris and Ren-san together? That guy is the worst!"

"That's right! Master isn't Ren your cute and precious son? Why would you do that?"

"Ren is without any doubt cute but he is also weak. I've been protecting Ren all these time but I know I can't keep doing it forever. Since Ren has decided to become an adventurer, I want to leave Ren in the hand of a strong guy. Ren is already 21 years old, it's not strange for him to have a lover or two and Chris is strong so there you go."

"He is certainly strong but he's a playboy! A despicable trash! What if he broke our cute Ren-san heart?!"

"Tord you..What do you take Ren as..? Some kind of fairy? Well you should know that Ren told me he had a girlfriend before so he should be okay."

"Lie! That's a lie!"

"Well my intuition told me that Chris is going to be Ren's husband and he will treat Ren preciously. Though he might seems despicable now, he might become a better person later."

Just after 11am, Hou Yi received a message from the contacts for WTF International and the other entities he used to purchased the shares in Lu Corporation.  CEO Lu has still without a clue to the various entities he had used, which ultimately he and Anna control, to purchase Lu Corporation Shares, particularly as investigations as to the ultimate ownership would take time, and that was something CEO LU did not have.

As Anna came into the office after her physio appointment, he messaged her to come up to his office at lunch time, both for a meal and so they could discuss things.

He then picked up phone and telephoned Tan, asking him to arrange a meeting with Lion and Snake, given how the group meeting last Thursday ended.  King was still p*ssed off with him, about the others demanding he transfer the shares to Hou Yi.  However, with the request coming from Tan, it would likely happen, whereas if he made the request it would be denied.

Ten minutes later, he received a message from Tan 'Meeting approved, but Anna, Amanda and I have to be there 3pm this afternoon.  Can you let Amanda know.'

Hou Yi messaged back, 'Will do, meet at Mama and Papa?'

The prompt response was 'Perfect.  I assume Amanda will come with you.  See you then.'

Given the message from Tan, Hou Yi looked up the internal telephone directory and found Amanda's number to call her.  After three rings, she answered "Amanda Mei speaking"

"Hello Madam Yao, your husband told me to tell you …"

Amanda, really wanting to retaliate against Hou Yi, but given the head of the Legal Department was in her office, telling her off, that was hard to do.

"Is it OK to call you back Sir, I am in a meeting with the head of my department."

"Fine Amanda, but before you hang up on your computer, disconnect from your current intranet server, search for CEO Intranet, and enter the password all in lower case and as one word anna hou one temporary password, this give me access to the camera in your room, I need to see what is going on."

While Hou Yi was speaking, Amanda was doing what she was asked on her computer, and replied "Yes Sir, I will do that.  Can I call you back say in fifteen or twenty minutes."

"As soon as he leaves I will call you back."

Amanda ended the call, and turned back to the head of the department, who was fuming about being interrupted.  He knew he needed to get rid of this woman as soon as possible from the department.  She would be a thorn in their side in their plans for Hou Enterprises in the future.

"Miss Mei, lately your attitude in this department has been atrocious.  You have had periods of absences that have nor been approved within the department, and we are sick of it.  You might have a relationship with a board member, but that does not excuse you from going outside the relevant chain for approval of leave.  Over the last six weeks, there has been at least twelve occasions where you have not been here, when you should have."

"Sir, not to be too blunt, my recent absences are fully explainable, and all but one has been approved by the CEO.  Three absences were visiting Madam Hou in hospital, two absences have been tied up with my acting as proxy for my husband at company board meetings, five absences have been tied up with the new joint venture between Hou Enterprises and XF International, and one absence when my step-daughter married CEO Hou's brother-in-law.  The only one that the CEO had not directly approved was a personal leave request that I had filed with human resources with appropriate supporting documentation."

"You know the rules that my predecessor put in place and they have not been rescinded.  All leave request have to be approved internally.  If you can not follow the rules and have any other absences without approval you will immediately be out of a job with Hou Enterprises."

"Sir, as I said all but one of my absences have been approved by the CEO and if he cannot approve leave, you need to take this up with him.  The company rules simply require that unless you are ill, and are applying for sick leave, someone at deputy head of department level or senior to that has has to approve the leave.  The CEO meets that requirement."

"I do not give a care.  This department has rules, and you are required to follow them or it is grounds for termination."

I was dumbstruck. I couldn't even move a muscle. I just look at her running away in a pink dress with apron. I couldn't believe that my mate is actually a 10 yr.old kid.

I feel a tap in my back.

"Hey, Nath is that your mate?" Loyd ask.

"Yeah" I said weakly.

"OMG!!!! Nath you found your mate! What are you waiting for? Go after her!" Red said and keep squealing.

I'll give you a flashback on why are we here at the beach.


Flashback 

Red keeps tugging my shirt since this morning and begs me to go to the beach. She didn't stop until I approve her request so pack our things up and get ready to leave. Red research about this place where it look likes a paradise and a famous restaurant is located there. Immediately we hop up and drive towards that location. While I'm driving. I could feel the spark that felt uncomfortable yet exciting at the same time. 

I ignore it.

When we were near towards the location. I could  smell a familiar scent of rose that I smelled in school, it calms my soul. This smell is different. It's unique. Yet, I ignored it thinking that it might be my imagination like we're here at the beach not some garden. 

Even though my heart tells me to ignore it but my wolf wants to dash over to where the scent came from.

We're currently here in the shore. The girls are tanning and us boys are playing Frisbee.

Later on a girl bump into me and fell.

I turn around and look at her lovely green eyes. 

"I'm sorry." She said and started walking but I held her hand and hug her.

I smelled her neck. This is where most of the scent comes from. My mind become fuzzy.

She struggle to get away from me but I only held her tighter. I found my mate and I will not let her go!

"Mine" 

She struggle from my grip and push me.

"What the--" I don't want my mate to despise me.

"Wahh you're abusing me huhuhu" She sobs. I don't abuse her. I'm just reclaiming what's mine.

"No it's not I ---" panic hits me.

"You're abusing a 10 yr. Old kid huhuhu" I couldn't move from what she said. 

What the- my mate is a freaking kid and a human.

The next day, J went to the hospital with her 'visible' and 'invisible' security watching over her. As usual, Jacob never left her side until she reached the Department of Surgery.
 
"What's this?" Dr. Aaron looked at her with a puzzled expression. 
 
"I am requesting an indefinite leave. I hope that you would approve of it." Although J tried to say the words with regards. It doesn't seem to in Aaron's ear. Even if she doesn't ask for it, he doesn't have a choice. 
 
It is the wife of the CEO. Of course, she is free to do whatever she wants. Thou recently she has been on a random leave, Aaron knows that it was Jacob's intention and not her. He knew that J is not the type of person that would take advantage of her position.
 
But her sudden request to take an indefinite leave surprised him.
 
"Are you pregnant?" Dr. Aaron Choi suddenly blurted out his suspicion. He cannot think of other reasons for her to request indefinite leave. Everyone in the hospital is oblivious of the threats that their colleague is having in her life.
 
J blushed instantly and felt embarrassed. "Uh...No."
 
"Oh...okay. Does Jacob know about this?" He asked because recently it was Jacob who is suddenly pulling her out of her duty for a day or two without asking for a formal request. And now, J is formally requesting for leave. Aaron can't help but be suspicious.
 
"Of course, we've talked about it. He actually thought that it is not necessary for this but I just thought that I won't be coming back for a while and not sure when so I guess I have to formally file a request."
 
"Oh...Okay." Dr. Aaron's mind is still not functioning well. He already lost Nurse Diana and not sure when she is coming back. Now Nurse J also wants an indefinite leave and not sure when she is coming back.
 
He felt that he is slowly losing his nurses in the Department of Surgery.
 
"You'll allow me. Right?" J asked imploring.
 
Dr. Aaron Choi was startled. "Yeah. Of course. How can I not?" He said but deep inside he is crying. As if I have a choice? If I didn't approve of it I might lose my job because of your husband! How am I suppose to get a temporary replacement for you? He cried internally.
 
"Good. Thank you." She said then smiled at him.
 
Oh God! Am I not supposed to be the person in control of my nurses and not the other way around? Dr. Aaron screamed internally.

In the control room on the 10th floor. Arthur is watching the monitor with Stefan. That means Daniel and Felix were in the lobby of the Department of Surgery. In the monitor is the CCTV footages inside and outside the hospital.
 
While Professor Iris and her team were monitoring the situation within 15 miles radius from J's location.
 
"Arthur, I got five suspicious cars within 15 miles radius." They heard the voice of Professor Iris on their communication device. 
 
"Exact location?" Arthur replied in a calm and firm tone.
 
"One in Aspen Street, there is another one in Quince Road, there is one in Peony Lane, two in the corner of Oak and Maple Streets." Professor Iris replied back.
 
"Can you identify them?" Arthur asked.
 
"I'm working on it."
 
Then Arthur turned to look at Stefan with a grave expression. "Send words to Boss."
 
"Okay." Stefan nods his head then left in hurried footsteps.
 
Meanwhile, inside Jacob's office, his brows furrowed when he received a text message. The words were 'It's time.'
 
If it was from another number, he would think that it was sent in a wrong number but it was from Alex Ogden and he knew what he meant.
 
Then he heard a knock on the door, in a couple of seconds he saw Stefan's grave expression. He immediately stood up from his armchair and followed him in the control room.
 
"Have you identified them?" Jacob asked after he heard Professor Iris's report. Initially, there were five suspicious cars, now there were eight.
 
"Three cars, the one in Quince, Aspen, and Oak. I am positive they were men from Bloodroot. As for the others, I am not certain." Professor Iris said that sounds a little disappointed.
 
Jacob whose hands are in his pocket standing in front of the monitor nodded his head. "I understand." He cannot expect Professor Iris to easily identify all of them. After all, no one can identify a member of Bloodroot Clan, unlike the Novus Rex. 
 
There was a moment of silence. Arthur and Stefan were waiting for Jacob's order but Jacob seemed to be in deep thought.
 
Arthur looked at his watch and saw that it is almost time for J to finish her duty.
 
"Your orders, sir?" Arthur asked.

At the age of 10, J's parents died in an ambush leaving her in the care of her grandfather who years later sent her away along with her best friend to hide her and her identity from those who would try to kill her after her parents.

20 years past, a lot of things had already happened. Her dearest grandfather died, she came back to Lotus City, and was secretly married!

She was married off by her grandfather to his best friend's grandson before he died and she was oblivious about it.

Some are still okay but most of them are busted. The dragon's thrashing was effective after all.

The armor falls apart but I successfully separate from the dragon. 

I feel that invisible force on my body again and slow down. 

Ellie's got me! 

Since I'm lighter now, she easily carries me over to her and the others.

"Finding lost things is an adventurer's specialty, you know? Maybe His Lordship simply needs to put up a request. Surely some capable individuals will take him up on it." 

What is she saying? This is blackmail, isn't it?

I close my hanging jaw quickly.

I feel a bit creeped out with her behavior today.

A guard? That's a bit of a mundane request. 

"Also, our friend Nano needs an assistant. Nano's an engineer and works a lot with golems, much like you." 

Oh, a kindred soul huh? That could be a mutually beneficial relationship! 

"We'll provide a regular salary." 

Salary is attractive. Having a bit of stability would be good. 

"Your services may also be needed in the field with us. You don't have to sign on with the guild if you don't want to." 

Well, that's a bit of a sticking point, I don't rea- 

"We can also provide rare materials." 

"SOLD!" 

Crap, I blurted it out! 

"Well then, since you approve we'll smooth out the details later." 

Damn, she roped me into it. 

But I shall not go back on my word, otherwise I'm finished as a mercenary. 

Besides, if she's telling the truth it might be very good indeed. I want to meet this Nano first, but somehow I doubt that will happen. 

"Also, this is a separate request, but please come to our wedding !"

End of Act Two - Rolling Thunder 

AN: Howdy folks, this is most of what I have pre-typed. Releases will slow down a bit. 
There's still a lot of things I want to put our girls through, so I'll be doing my best! 
Also it's my first time writing fiction, so any criticism is appreciated.

"I would be honored to have you join our family. We will do everything that we can to fight this illness. I will focus all my spare hours trying to figure out a way to beat it. You will be the most beautiful daughter in law." Clarence stated this and there was a crash sound at the door. 

Edna walked into the room and grabbed onto Clarence's shirt, "you will tell me everything right now or else I will cut you off." She was glaring daggers at Clarence.

"Good evening, Saito-sama. I am glad that you came to see me." Amelia bowed her head slightly and waited.

"Mother, I do not think that Father was going to keep you out of the loop but what are you doing at the hospital this late in the evening?" Gabriel looked over at Edna while still holding Amelia up. 

"I am sorry to have caused a ruckus." Amelia bowed her head slightly again. 

"Gabriel," Enda growled out his name, "you can not sugarcoat this. I will not be kept out of the loop. I was the one that followed you into the garden. YOU. WILL. TELL. ME. EVERYTHING. RIGHT. NOW!" 

"Alright love. Please do not freak out the patient any more than you already are. Come with me and I will tell you everything but I need her to get some rest. Amelia, please rest when you feel tired. I will come back after I have informed my wife on what is going on." Clarence gives her an apologetic look and leaves the room with his wife in tow. 

Edna glances back at the girl and her heart breaks a little. 'I hope that it is not too serious. I do not want to lose the perfect daughter in law.'

Once the room is empty Gabriel helps her lay back down. "I am sorry for keeping you upright the whole time. How are you feeling?"

"Thank you for still wanting me after you found out about my disease. Will your Mother not approve of me, is that why you and your father were concerned about her finding out?" Amelia looked up at Gabriel. "I have had worse attacks. So as long as I stay attack free throughout the evening I will be okay." 

"I will stay with you. I do not want to leave you alone. I would not be able to rest knowing that you were not okay. As for my mother, it is not that she will disagree. She will come back in a rush after finding out as she likes you a lot. I get my stubborn, possessive side from her. She will more than likely demand that you stay here for a few days to make sure that you are okay. I would like to stay with you but I have classes to attend to tomorrow so she will more than likely come and kick me out in the morning." Gabriel lets out a long sigh.

Amelia giggles, "I am sorry. It is a bit funny but I am excited to think that I will be accepted so easily. Gabriel, will you lie down next to me. I know that you will not do anything to me. I want to be close to you as I rest." She starts to yawn.

Gabriel's face turns red and he lays down next to her and holds his head up with his arm and looks down at her. With his other arm he rests it over her hand that was still out of the cover. "Rest, well. I will still be here when you walk up." 

"Okay, thank you for fulfilling my selfish request." Amelia's eyelids flutter closed as she tries to fight her sleep before she passes out into a restful sleep. 

Gabriel watches her fall asleep and sighs in relief. Once she was in a deeper sleep he sits up and looks at the door. "Aiko, I know that you are there. You can come in now." 

"Sorry, I heard her request. You could've stayed in that position. I doubt that anyone would complain." Aiko steps into the room and carries a box to the side table. "This is more of the powder that your Grandfather stored."

"Thank you for bringing it but if you didn't find it I could make it. Before Grandfather got sick he taught me how to make that medicine. All the ones in there were wrapped by me. That was why I was surprised when I saw it." Gabriel picked up the green package and turned it over to show Aiko the small signature. 

"Well that is a relief. I was worried that this would be everything that was left." Aiko let out a heavy sigh. "She is very voluptuous. I can see why you fell for her but there is more to a person than looks."
 
"It is not just her looks that I fell for. We both go to the library a lot. I would see her studying sometimes alone, other times with her friends. It was nice to see her teaching them so patiently." Gabriel looked down at Amelia before getting off the bed. 

"I understand. I will tell you this now. The reason your father asked me to stay with her is because I sometimes went on the house visits with your Grandfather and I have taken care of her in the past. I always felt bad for her but no matter what she tried to do her best and never once gave up. She is a tough cookie." Aiko looked at Amelia who was sleeping soundly now.

Edna and Clarence came back. Edna went to the bed and was crying quietly. "I knew that Father was attending to a sick patient but I did not know that she was so young. Gabriel, we will do everything that we can for her. I will still permit you to marry her. I will not force her to do anything too strenuous and it would be better for her to come to our house. Once everything is set in motion, we will prepare a dowry for the other party."

Finding true love is not an easy thing. Especially when your parents ask you to go to marriage interviews. You worry constantly and need to take Daily vitamins to be able to help your weak body. This is what Amelia's life is like. She dreams of falling in love, maybe setting her eyes on someone and knowing that he was the one. 

Next in line to take over the Hospital Gabriel is stuck going to arranged meetings in his spare time but honestly what spare time does an eighteen-year old medical student really have? He dreams of the one that is always matching his scores and his eyes are drawn to her even if she doesn’t notice him. Will fate allow him to be with her or will his parents tie him down with someone else. 

How will their love story pan out? Will they be forced to marry someone that they do not care for or will their parents' cave and let them fall in love and live in bliss?

"me too." I lay my head on him. 
"they will notice if we are gone for to long." 
"let's just nap and we will head back flying makes me so tired."
"you will get use to it. However we can't fly during the day light hours outside the school."

"Bab.. " Devin
"Hay you need to wake up sleepy head" Devin gently nudging me. 
"I'm uo... I'm up.." 
"you father is looking for you!" He said leaning over me.
I spring up headbutting him right in the face. 
"oh my gosh I'm sorry so so sorry." I busted his lip with my forehead. I feel so bad as I look around we are back in his dorm room. 
"it's fine... I'll be alright. it's just a little blood."  He said.
My eyes turn red when I see the blood coming from his lip.
"no no Maire. we don't have time you have to go to the office now.
"fine but your coming with me"  I smile as I gently wipe his lip with my finger and lick it. on my way to the door. since I slept fully dressed all I have to do is slide on shoes. 
"ok you want me to meet your dad?" 
"yes! of course! I want to spend my life with you. My dad should know who you are." I smile. *I know he will not approve because of your Vampire side but that doesn't matter* I don't say it out loud because I'm holding a hair tie in my mouth.
His lip is healed before I finish tying my shoes. 
"I would be honored to meet your dad." 
"while I'm in the office I can request to test out of all my work classes, and focus on learning about this place and the powers." 
"sounds good, let's not make your dad wait any longer." 
"My dad can be a bit of a bear. He never wanted me to leave the house." 
we walk quickly to the office.
My dad is walking back and forth. He looks like something is wrong. 
"Dad!!! it's so good to see you! I've missed you. So what's wrong? why are you hear?" 
"Can't I just check on my little girl?" *I'm hear because I heard you almost died then leaped in to the arms of your savior as your lover your not old enough to be doing stuff like that. Is this him is this the boy you've been Fucking? * 
"Wow ok dad. So maybe you didn't know but I can control my mind reading powers now. so please speak your mind it will make these easier on all of us." 
"fine. Yes, I have a problem. I'm removing you from this school immediately!" *Taking you away from all the negative influences.*
"No, your not, I'm an adult here, and I want to be here. I have a lot still to learn about this country and the four power sources. This is the best place for that." 
"It's not safe for you here." *You can't stop me from taking you, I'll take you by force if I have to! The only power source you need is the wolf!"* 
"no the world is not safe. especially for the ignorant and inexperienced. which is why I need to stay.. " 
*Devin I don't know how much more of this I can take while still being polite. Can you please help me here* I know Devin will be the only one bro hear my thoughts, I feel bad having him hear my father's thought. 
"And what of this Who is the man you have let leave his mark on you?" *If we weren't on safe ground I would kill him for making you even a permanent mark can fade with death.*
"Dad this is Devin, Devin this is Dad. He has been my friend since my first day here. Plus he saved me from 'YOUR' kind and has been looking out for me ever since. Dad before you say anything else I want to to know, that I want to marry him." 
"Hello sir, it's a pleasure to meet you. Your daughter has told me so much about you." Devin said so politely. 
*I don't know who the hell you are but you will never date my daughter!* my dad thinks
Devin and I both laugh for only a second.
"Mr. Knight. With as much respect as possible, I love her and want to make her happy. I will make sure she is happy. I'm going to make sure she has everything she ever wants." Devin continues smiling politely.
"Once she finishes her schooling I have invited her to come back and live with me. She can pick any room she wishes, and when the time is right I will make her mine forever. We will be happy, she will be safe. This Mr. Knight I give you my word." 
*I wont let you marry him! I'll kill him first. I'm going to kill him for ever touching you, that filthy mutt.* Dad glared at Devin. 
"Sir. maybe I or your daughter was unclear. Your not needed here."
*Thank you Devin, but I'm afraid he's not bluffing.* *Don't worry Maire, I'm confident in myself.* 
"Thanks for visiting Dad but I've never been better. If you don't mind leaving first I have an issue with my classes I would like to discuss with the office. Thank mom for keeping in contact with me and let her know to be expecting my next letter soon. I've already sent it out. That is if your going home. If your going back to the wolves den I'm sure they could they would be happy to know about the attack on my life maybe more so if you don't say I was rescued." 
"That's not far Maire!"
"I love you Dad, Bye."
"It was nice to meet you Sir." 
My dad stormed out slamming the doors on the way out. He slammed them so hard he cracked the window next to the door.

So today was the day he would tell her. He was excited, nervous a bit scared too. He just wanted to see Khushi's expression. She would be shocked, happy or what?

He was in college and had asked Khushi too to meet him. She will accept him, right? Viraj had a point though. What if she actually denied. Now he could understand how it would have been for Khushi really it needed a hell lot of courage to express such a feeling. Although she had already expressed her feeling. But then if its love this won't fade away just in a month.

After a hell lot of discussion with his mind and heart, it was time to tell her. He was already waiting in the canteen. He had ordered her favourite jalebis and a coffee for himself.

Khushi: Hi Arnav kahiye aapne hume kyu bulaya tha. Kuch kaam hai? (Hi Arnav, Why did you call me. Had any work?)

Arnav: Khushi actually I umm have some jalebis these are your favourite.

Khushi: That's okay but...

Arnav: Come on Khushi...

Khushi: Okay .. wow they are tasty you ordered from my fav place? So treat of something or what?

Arnav: Yes something very great is going to happen soon.

Khushi: Really Wow what's that?

Arnav: You, you can only help me to make it great would you Khushi?

Khushi: yeah why not tell me. How can I help?

Arnav: Come with me.

Khushi: Where?

Arnav: You trust me?
He just wanted to see what value he holds in her life as of now.

Khushi: Offcourse I do.

Arnav: Then no questions.

Arnav and Khushi get up. Both sit in his Car.

Arnav: It will take time. I guess you should inform your parents you could be late.

Khushi did the same without any questions. They were now in outskirts of Delhi. Arnav parked his car outside his farmhouse.

Arnav: Come. (He opened the door for her)

Khushi followed Arnav. They were in the garden now. It was decorated very beautifully.

Khushi: Wow this is mesmerising. You have any function here?

Arnav: It's my farmhouse. Yes, there is something special today.

Khushi: okay so...

Arnav holds her hand.

Khushi: Arnav aap..(Arnav you..)

Arnav puts a finger on her lips.
Arnav: Now only I will speak and you will hear please for some time. Let me say what I want to then you can ask me anything.

Khushi just nodded while he continued.

You know when you confessed me your love it came as a shock to me. It was too sudden for me to say something. But then you gave me time to think I did think Khushi but there were many thoughts in my mind. I was damn confused. Love is such a feeling you know. I denied you but couldn't feel that peace that I should have felt. You know why because I wasn't clear. I always felt that I am missing something crucial. I felt so incomplete. For the initial days, I felt maybe I have just developed habit of being with you. So I miss it. But this one month made me realise that this feeling was much deeper than I thought it to be.
(He sighed for a sec.)

It...its love Khushi. I love you Khushi. I love the way you smile, your talks and just everything about you. You are phenomenal. I...

I don't know what else to say Khushi. I am just so inexpressive when it comes to such feelings. But I just want you to know that you are special. Really very special to me. I have never ever felt this way just like I felt for you. I am sorry for taking the time. But I wasn't clear what I wanted. I love you.

Khushi: Arnav mai kya kahu? Fir soch lijiye. (Arnav what should I say now? Think again)

Arnav: No Khushi I am sure about my feelings. There is no confusion. I know you are doubtful or maybe scared that I might change my mind again. Trust me Khushi I am sure this time. Believe me would you?

Khushi: I trust you. I need sometime please can you give me?

Arnav: Yes as much as time you want, take it. I am ready to wait. No hurry one day one week a month or even year. Sweetheart, I am just waiting for your reply.

Khushi: Thank you. Now can we go home?

Arnav nodded and they got back into the car. He dropped her home and went to his after that.

Some days passed it was same as before. This wait was driving him crazy. They didn't have any kind of conversation after that. Was she ignoring him, maybe she needs time, isn't she interest,.... and there were n numbers of such thoughts pondering his mind.

Arnav was in his car driving towards college when his phone rang he picked it up.

Khushi: Can you pick me up?

Arnav: On the way just 5 mins.

So finally she will answer me. He was much excited about all. Arnav picked her up. The rest of the journey was a silent one till college. He was about to get out of the car when Khushi caught hold of his hand.

Arnav sit will you? I have to talk said Khushi. He sat back on his seat back listening to what she wanted to say.

Khushi: I have given a thought of all the things and before I decide anything I want you to ask you some questions. Would you answer?

Arnav: Yes. Ask Khushi.

Khushi: Arnav when you told me that you are completely sure of your feelings I believe it. You can promise me today that you won't leave me? Don't think I doubt you. But it was different till now I confessed you, you denied and it was kind of over but now you feel its love. The thing is that I just really won't be able to bear the pain if you left me. Are you sure that you really want me forever in your life?

Arnav kept his palms on both of her cheeks: Yes Khushi you mean life to me. I cannot even think of leaving you. This one month meant hell for me. I promise you I won't leave you ever.

Khushi: Okay. Arnav can I request you one more thing.

Arnav: Sure please jaan.

Khushi: I don't want people to know about it. Can we keep it a secret for now? I haven't let my parents know this and somewhere I feel guilty. I never hid anything from them they had always given me the liberty to do whatever I like. I know I am hiding it but right now I don't if they really will approve me for something like this. We are still small for all this. Aren't we. At least according to them.

Arnav: Okay, as you wish. But Viraj knows about it.

Khushi: That's okay. But we won't tell it to more people. I haven't spoken of it to even Aman bhai neither N.K.

Arnav: Okay. I respect your decision Khushi and please don't think you are breaking your parent's trust. Love never happens with our knowledge. It just happens just like it happened to us. Don't feel guilty of anything. They love you Khushi they will understand it when you will tell them
