One reason why you should not use expensive software for your freelance work because you don't get paid until your work is completed. You can use cheaper software that doesn't need paying yearly or monthly subscription fees but you can not use expensive software that has a yearly or monthly subscription like Autodesk Cinema 4d, Adobe and other industry standards software. Some people can use free and open-source software like Krita for concept art and matte painting and for movie and TV shows are Blender and other freemium software for VFX and animation software for their freelance work or startup business. Some people don't work but they use cheaper or less expensive hardware to start a VFX or animation or other business that is good for their budgets not over the budget. If your budget for your movie or tv series visual effects is not like Hollywood standard budget for your movie or tv series visual effects you can use freeware, alternative software, freemium and cheap or free and open-source for your VFX, modelling, animation and sculpturing and other things during the production, pre-production and post-production for your content. If you want to make your own video game you can use Unreal engine, Uchronia Project Blender Game Engine, Unity, armoury game engine and lot more. Blender is the best software that is used by independent game studios next to nuke, cinema 4d, lightwave 3d, Reallusion Iclone, TV paint, Krita, Unreal, Unity, CryEngine, Godot, Cocos2d,libGDX Panda3D, Construct and other software. Cinema 4d is less expensive than Maya and 3dsMax.

Después instaló el complemento y lo activó, luego de unos 2 minutos, Zhang Ye había cargado con éxito ese sitio web extranjero. Esa en realidad era una de las formas más simples de representación.

Después de comparar durante mucho tiempo, había llegado a una conclusión preliminar. Los sistemas operativos y hardware de ese mundo, eran ligeramente menos avanzados que los de su mundo anterior. Estaba atrasado por unos pocos años, excepto por la tecnología de firewall para servidores y programas antivirus, que eran algo más avanzados. Esa era la razón por la que los hackers aficionados como los de su mundo anterior no eran tan evidentes en ese mundo. Los protocolos de seguridad de red de ese mundo eran de un nivel mucho más alto. Cualquier descarga de un software de cortafuegos podría bloquear el 99% de los no profesionales. Incluso los hackers profesionales tendrían que poner algo de trabajo, ya que no había mucha gente lo suficientemente tonta como para no instalar un cortafuegos o un software antivirus en su ordenador. Eso dio lugar a la situación actual. Había muy pocos hackers en ese mundo y no eran tan desenfrenados en comparación con el mundo anterior de Zhang Ye, pero por el contrario, los hackers, que eran más conocidos allí, tenían habilidades más sofisticadas y estaban en la cima de la pirámide. Podían hacer lo que quisieran en el mundo online.
Esas eran las principales diferencias entre los dos mundos.

Eso era algo bueno, ya que significaba que podía utilizar convenientemente la experiencia pasada de su mundo anterior. Ese tipo de software que podía ser descargado libremente de Internet no era tan efectivo. Es posible que ni siquiera pase más allá de un cortafuegos, especialmente cuando la seguridad de la red de ese mundo era tan estricta. Las posibilidades de que fueran interceptados como código malicioso eran demasiado altas. El verdadero software de hackeo de clase mundial era escrito por los propios hackers. Esos hackers ni siquiera los compartían con sus colegas, y mucho menos los ponían en Internet. Esos softwares se consideraban como propios para intercambios comerciales.
Otra razón por la que el software común y el software de hacking de clase mundial tenían una diferencia tan grande se debía principalmente a las lagunas del sistema que esos hackers conocían. El software de hacking común ya había sido investigado a fondo por otros, como los desarrolladores de sistemas operativos o las compañías de seguridad de red. Esos vacíos del sistema habían sido corregidos. A menos que estuviera utilizando un sistema pirata que no recibiera actualizaciones, esos sistemas operativos genuinos se parcheaban con cada actualización. Entonces, la efectividad del software de hacking disminuiría enormemente. Puede que no sea totalmente ineficaz, pero su daño se reduciría considerablemente. Sin embargo, un software de hacking de clase mundial era diferente. Podría invadir un sistema basado en el propio conocimiento del creador de las lagunas y el control del sistema operativo. Aunque era cierto que había muchos otros softwares de hacking no descubiertos, también podía ser visto como la razón por la que tales softwares eran extremadamente raros. Era comparable al arma de un gran púgil. El software de clase mundial o troyanos, eran esas armas divinas, preciosas y raras. Explotar una laguna que ni siquiera el desarrollador de software conocía ya era extremadamente difícil, y los desarrolladores de software de ese mundo eran mucho más fiables que los de su mundo anterior. Sí. Una vez que se encontraba una vulnerabilidad, todavía había que tener en cuenta la naturaleza de la laguna para explotarla con un software o un troyano. Eso era muy difícil de lograr.
Esa era la razón por la que este tipo de software era tan raro. Zhang Ye no pensó demasiado en ello. Lo que necesitaba hacer ahora era entrar en la red del SARFT y localizar la estación de trabajo de Li Tao.

Most of us have had to deal with a computer virus or some sort of malware by now. It wasn't fun; it was annoying, time consuming, and very frustrating.
Install Anti-Virus/Malware Software.

The two friends spent the whole afternoon pampering themselves, well... it was Hannah forcing Samantha to 'pamper' themselves. Late in the afternoon when the sky started to darken, they were at the Busy Bean Cafe's rooftop garden talking.

"I have to go pee. Wait here, S.", Hannah said before she stood up and ran downstairs.

Samantha walked over to the potted fruit garden where she saw a ripe red strawberry hanging outside the clay pot. She extended her hand to pick the fruit when she suddenly felt a very comfortable and warm presence behind her.

A pair of long and manly arms wrapped around her, trapping her in place. She smelled his familiar scent of the Versace perfume. 

His head nuzzled at the crook of Samantha's neck and inhaled her peachy fragrance, his embrace tightened before he spoke, "I missed you."

Samantha's heart jumped when she realized that it was Daniel. The corner of her lips lifted and her expression brightened. "I thought you weren't coming home until the next few days?"

Daniel Cho spun her around to see her face,  "Surprise."

"So cheesy!", Samantha exclaimed but she loved his surprise anyway.

He chuckled and tucked a loose hair behind her ear, "How could I not come home? I have to have dinner with you tonight."

"Dinner?" 

Actually, when Daniel called Samantha earlier, he was already at the airport and was about to board the plane going back to City M. It's been almost two weeks and Daniel got grumpy for not being able to see Samantha especially when his business trip was dragging. When he checked his calendar, he noticed that today marked their first month since they agreed to date each other. He decided to go home for the night and fly back the next morning to City T just to have dinner with Samantha.

The couple had fun on their dinner date. And when Samantha heard Daniel's reason why he suddenly came home, she laughed at him. She couldn't believe that Daniel was this sentimental. Not at all fitting with his cold-CEO image. But she was touched nonetheless.

Early the next morning, Daniel flew back to City T to finish a project. Samantha, on the other hand, went to work in a hurry when Alexander called her with a worried voice.

As soon as Samantha entered her office, "What's the problem?"

"They've started.", Alexander handed her a tablet with an article that Samantha had somehow anticipated.

"I've expected something like this to happen but not so soon, they're very resourceful."

"Regardless, they used this issue to dirty our company. Whether it's true or not, people will only believe what they see."

"Have people find Minjae.", Samantha said with a dark expression on her face. 'You wanna play a game? Let's play.'

"Oh, and find people to get Kevin, bring him here."

A few years back when Samantha and Alexander first started the company, they had a head programmer named 'Minjae'. He was Samantha's university classmate. Although Samantha was a way better programmer, she wanted to give the opportunity to Minjae. She had excellent skills but it's not really her passion. In the first few months, Minjae led a group of programmers; one of them was Kevin who was also skilled in programming. In one of the projects that they had during that time, Minjae and Kevin had a disagreement. Kevin proposed to sell the current project to a different client who offered a huge amount. But Minjae was a righteous man, it wasn't right even if the other party offered more money. Trident had a contract with their client and the software was for them. 

Kevin was enraged at Minjae because ever since he joined the company he had always felt inferior to Minjae. He left the company bringing along with him the software that was almost completed, he wanted to sell it to the client that offered him a huge amount. But Samantha and Alexander were faster than Kevin, they've already contacted the other party and told him about the situation. Then they offered the client a deal that he couldn't refuse. So after a few modifications, Kevin tried to sell the software to that client, but he left without a single cent. He was furious, he had no more job and didn't get to sell the software. He couldn't even sell it to other companies because of copyright issues. He just wanted to get away with one software for quick money but now he has none. 

At first, Trident filed a lawsuit against Kevin but later on, Samantha told Alexander to give him pardon since nothing drastic happened anyway; as long as they don't cross each other's paths anymore. So after that incident, Kevin went back to his hometown. because of some family problems, Kevin's life was wasted. He lost motivation, he became a drunkard and an addict. Trident company continued to flourish although a little after a year when they started, Minjae left the company. He got married and lived in another city with his wife near his old parents' house; he is living a humble life. 

In the article, it stated how Trident company started as a sham. It said that they stole a software project from their old employee and fired him. 

Quantum Solutions found Kevin when they were searching for any dirt about Samantha's company. They were curious why Kevin left the company after being employed for half a year, and when they found him in his poor state, it wasn't hard to bribe him with money to dish out something about Trident. 

Kevin who had nothing to lose and lots of money to gain, he told the people from Quantum that he made a software back then but it was stolen by Trident. They claimed his software theirs and didn't even give him credit and that they also fired him. All of these were, of course, lies. But he didn't care, he got a lot of money from this lie. 

Days after they found Kevin, a news article surfaced about Trident Company stealing the software and claiming it as their own. Software theft is one of the problems that software companies face. This matter with Trident, they could lose potential and current clients. After all, who would want to get services from a company who steals?

But Samantha wasn't afraid because they have evidence, so this matter will be solved easily. She instructed her assistant to ask the PR to handle this matter and that they will provide an explanation soon.

While Samantha was facing this crisis, Daniel Cho in City T had no idea what was going on. He and his assistant were very busy. Assistant Ahn normally checks business articles but his focuses were in Cho Corporation's line of business so he hasn't read the article about Trident company. They went about their project and returned to City M the next day.

Samantha didn't think that it was important to inform Daniel about what was currently happening in her company, after all, it was her business and that she had it under control. So when she saw Daniel that day when she visited his office, Daniel was still clueless about what was going on. They had lunch and went on their separate ways afterward.

When Daniel came back to the company, he dropped by his brother's office to give him an afternoon snack bought by Samantha. Although he felt a tiny bit jealous that Samantha was good to his brother, Liam, he didn't stop her from being thoughtful towards his family. 

"Wow! Sister-in-law takes care of me very well.", Liam beamed after receiving the box of pastries and a cup of coffee.

"Tch."

Daniel scoffed but chuckled right after. He glanced at Liam's desk and the expression on his face changed, "What is this?"

After taking a sip on his coffee, Liam answered, "Oh.. some software company that joined the bidding had some software theft issue."

"What??" Daniel grabbed the papers and tablet and scanned the contents very quickly, seeing the name "Trident" here and there. "When was this?"

Liam wasn't sure why his brother was so interested about it but he answered anyway, "A few days ago... I think?"

"And they joined the bidding?", he asked with a gloomy look.

Liam was carefree, he munched on the pastries and drank his coffee enjoying every bit of it, "Yeah. They've joined a little over a month ago. Why? Do you know them?"

With a dark expression, Daniel clenched his teeth and his brows furrowed, "Samantha owns the company. She's Trident's CEO."

Liam spat the coffee upon hearing it, splashing liquid over the documents in front of him.

I think not many people noticed the announcement in auxiliary chapters(Didn't see any comments there), so I will copy it here. If you read it already go for Thursday update. 

#Tuesday announcement#

Hello everyone, author is here))
I want to take a break today, because due to growing story and continious improvement of MC it is really hard to manually keep track of what changes and what increases. What one ability does and etc. 
Therefore, today I started on creating a software that will help with that issue. I started it in the morning and still doing it now. 
Because, I spent most of my day typing program and sitting while doing so, I don't have strength to write a chapter for a story. It takes on average around 3 to 4 full hours to write a chapter if idea is clear, however lately chapters take longer, due to all foundation laying and story progression.
So, I don't want to write a wacky chapter just for a sake of new chapter. I will continue working on software to keep track of the MC progression and hopefully tomorrow I will do the chapter.

#Wednesday Update#

So, I am still working on software. Saving objects and modifying their copies is huge problem in C# cause it has no direct way of doing and apparently I forgot about it ;_) so... I made vital parts of interface and implemented them but still got stuck with copying objects. Takes a lot of time and I am really tired, but thought that not updating chaps for you for 2 days straight will be bad, so I decided to dedicate less time to software and started finishing chapter I started yesterday. 
After all, today I had to do less things for soft then on Tuesday))   
Without software really hard to keep track of all skills and abilities and other stuff. And paper not very editable in my opinion AND Wednesday chapter was especially heavy on this, but I did it XD .  
Thankfully I started it yesterday, so I was able to make it)))

Anyway I am going to continue doing software. See tomorrow. And don't forget to leave your feedback. I always try to read your comments. 

#Thursday update#

Software is nearly finished and I already started filling up info I had manually written or just kept in mind. I wanted to finish it as soon as possible, but rushing will lead only to mistakes. 
So today's chapter will be skipped as well, because previous chapter received some negative feedback, despite me working on it for 2-3 hours, which means I need to polish chapters even harder. 
Also, there was an idea by "WolfLord" about quests and that got me thinking about how can I implement it, because the idea was really good and would fit with next activity(walk in forest).

Met truck-kun. Obviously died. Nobody survives after fateful meeting with him.
Afterwards, I was reborn in the different world with the system from my favorite game! However, there was a catch - I had negligible amount of knowledge about this universe.

I open my eyes and see [You were caught during unauthorized entrance into a magic academy!] 
"Oh cmon... System, do you really need do this every time? Now... what will I do?" 
[Pick a race]
"..."

"What's the name of this design?" A mech technician asked as he admired the technical mastery that Ves had demonstrated in fusing those parts together.

"I call it the New Sentinel. It takes the basic template of the Pointed Sentinel but elevates it to the next degree. The finished product will still resemble the old version, but its actual performance is far from regular."

This was because Ves had picked some of the best parts from the junkyard. Though all of them came from low-end mech that the arena organization didn't attach much value to, they happened to be best points of their original mech models.

"The New Sentinel is built from heavily modified versions of the parts I've collected. Each of these parts have their merits, and I've taken care to select the strongest parts that will still be able to merge with the frame of the Pointed Sentinel. Compatibility issues will undoubtedly pop up, but I'm confident I can deal with most of the problems."

Each mech model had their good and bad points. Unless a mech designer deliberately screwed around, every design that came from their hands should contain some elements with a competitive level of performance.

In his initial selection process, Ves straight up ignored the trashy bits and and took away the best parts. Combining all of them into a single frame meant that the New Sentinel shook off most of the weaknesses of the old design.

Of course, that was easier said than done. They all had a lot of work in store.

"Chief Haine."

"Here."

"I'll hand over the responsibility of modifying the parts and assembling them together over to you and your men. Try and finish the work within two-and-a-half days."

"That's going to be tough." The chief said as she seriously studied the schematics of the new design. "You're asking us to perform a lot of radical changes."

"I've designed this new mech with very loose tolerances. You don't need to be too precise in fashioning the new parts. Just get it done in time."

"I can't promise you we'll meet your target, but I'll work my men like hell to get it done."

Chief Haine immediately issued a set of orders, dividing the work among the men. Every part needed major adjustments in order to make them compatible with the New Sentinel.

By far the largest job consisted of changing out the artificial musculature. Ves was very unsatisfied with the musculature of the old Pointed Sentinel. Ophidian-Wheelax Industries had plainly cheaped out by buying an inferior component license for the muscles of the mech. This was truly infuriating considering that melee mechs depended on a good artificial musculature system to exert their offensive power.

It was the equivalent of equipping a doddering old man with a spear and a set of armor! No matter the quality of the gear, if the underlying foundation was weak, the mech would never be able to surpass a certain level of performance!

This low maximum ceiling of performance directly countered OWI's original intention of designing a mech with a high price-to-performance ratio. With such a low cap on performance, how could the Pointed Sentinel ever be a good bargain for mech pilots with decent skill?

Ves basically butchered the old man and pieced a new body together with the butchered parts of other corpses. The unholy creation that came into being would hopefully be able to match the strength of a warrior at his peak.

"Hahaha! What a great feeling! So this is how it feels like to create a true frankenstein mech!" Ves spontaneously laughed. He felt as if he had gone mad for a moment. "I never knew that breaking so many important rules was fun."

Of course, the rules were there for a reason. Mech design was a profession that was littered with rules that formed a comprehensive list of best practices. If Ves was an ordinary mech designer, he would never dream of building a frankenstein mech. The only reason why he dared to do so was that he not only possessed a broad foundation, he also made use of the Jury-Rigging Sub-Skill.

The value of this Sub-Skill was inestimate to Ves. It saw very little use when he designed an original mech, but when it came to modifying existing mechs, Jury-Rigging turned into a vital necessity. It would rarely be the case where he would have the ideal set of mech parts at hand. With this Sub-Skill at hand, he could draw on decades of experience in substituting proper parts with less optimal ones.

It was like replacing an amputated leg with a prosthetic. Although the replacement limb would never work as good as the original, it at least did the job of enabling the person to walk again.

While Chief Haine pressed her mech technicians modify the parts in rapid tempo, Ves directed his attention to the most challenging task of all. Unifying the different parts on a software level.

Rashly cutting mech parts from other wrecks and sticking them to another frame never worked unless they came from the same product line. In order to mate these parts together, Ves had to unify them on a hardware and software level.

Ves had already taken care of the former by completing the New Sentinel's design. He could trust Chief Haine to make sure the mech technicians didn't screw up on that front.

The only work he couldn't outsource was working on the software. This was something that only Ves possessed the qualifications to tamper with. "It's a good thing I've shored up my programming skills recently."

Though his Computer Science Skill only reached a Apprentice-level standard, this was already good enough for the vast majority of independent mech designers to program their own mechs. Ves also learned how to hack into the existing programming of the mech, though he never dug in too deep in that field because it clashed with his design philosophy.

"This is going to hurt."

Ves could take a couple approaches with regard to the software of his new mech. The most optimal approach entailed creating a new software from the ground up. This sucked up a huge amount of time, so he directly skipped to the next option.

The next approach would be to download a standard operating system from the galactic net and work his way into integrating all of the parts into the software system. This was also a time-consuming option, but Ves was confident enough to compress the work within three days if he skipped a lot of steps. The result wouldn't be very pretty, but the mech should roughly be functional without any major compatibility problems.

"Then there's the last option.

The quickest and dirtiest approach entailed retaining the original software of the Pointed Sentinel. This left intact the many peculiarities and optimizations from OWI. Naturally, Ves still needed to incorporate the parameters of the new parts and make sure they would mate with each other.

The last two approaches were in fact very similar. One started off from a fresh install, while the other continued on from an existing configuration.

"It's going to take a lot of time to get the software into a fighting shape if I want to work from a fresh install. On the other hand, retaining the existing software will likely prompt a lot of compatibility problems when I install a lot of strange parts that the operating system has never been programmed to work with. Squashing all of those issues might take even more time."

In the end, Ves decided to wipe out the existing software and install a generic software system for spearman mechs from the galactic net. He chose this option because he could at least foresee how much time he needed to finish the work. With the other option, Ves couldn't predict how many compatibility issues would crop up and how much effort it took into solving them all.

"I've already taken enough gambles as it is right now. I can't keep risking my slim chances of success on sudden failures."

Ves went to work behind the console. Though programming a new software system for the New Sentinel entailed a lot of work, Ves faced a smoother journey than normal because he started off from a good base. The software he downloaded from the galactic net already incorporated all of the basic and vital functions of a spearman mech. Ves merely had to adapt it to the New Sentinel.

Three days quickly went by.

He made a lot of progress in that time. Though the software could never match up to the programming of a mature mech model, Ves believed his work didn't look too shabby.

"According to the simulations, the mech is able to perform all of the basic maneuvers without delay. The frame should only hitch up during the most complex movements."

The importance of the operating system was that a mech designer or a professional programmer could preconfigure many standard mech movements.

To put it simply, it was like adding muscle memory to a mech. A mech pilot would be able to make use of the muscle memory as shortcuts. This lowered the mental burden on the mech pilot and enabled them to make the most efficient movements from a single thought.

Ves unfortunately didn't have enough time to expand upon the programming. The mech he programmed right now possessed the muscle memory of an average civilian with maybe a week's worth of spearmanship training.

With enough time, Ves could increase the strength of the software to match the performance of a trained spearman with more than a decade of dedicated training!

"This is the strength of a good mech programmer!"

Sadly, Ves didn't appear to be fated to excel in this area. Certainly, if he put his mind in this field, he could become fairly proficient in this area. However, it was unlikely that Ves progressed beyond that level.

"Designing a mech is like creating a new life. Programming is essential to ensure the mech can be functional, but too much may not be a good thing."

Mech designers who excelled in programming could accomplish amazing feats. Ves had worked by Alloc's side for a time and he had seen what a Journeyman-level mech designer who specialized in programming could do. In short, they could turn a worthless piece of rock into a shining piece of jade!

The work that Ves had done over the last few days was far from reaching that level, but at least it should do the job.

"Let's see if Chief Haine has upheld her end of the work."

Ves had been wholly absorbed in programming for his new mech. One of his major faults was that when he put his whole mind onto a task, he pretty much tuned out everything else.

He stepped away from the console and entered the assembly area of the workshop. Ves immediately saw the shape of a complete mech. Fixed in place within the workshop's assembly system, a gaggle of mech technicians climbed all around the frame of the mech to perform the finishing touches by hand.

"Well." He said with some surprise. "The mech is almost finished!"

"It took a few sleepless nights, but we almost got it done." Chief Haine said as she approached from the side. "We had to take in a lot of stimulants in order to work day and night. Hell, my men will probably sleep for two straight days after finishing up the mech."

Skipping sleep was easy. Countless substances enabled humans to push through their desire for sleep. The only problem were practically hard-wired into requiring sleep. Ves could imagine that all of the mech technicians paid a heavy price to work for three straight days.

"Did you push them into this brutal schedule?"

"Nope." The chief technician shook her head with a smile. "We all know that Captain Orfan's life is at stake. What's the worth of our good rest if we aren't willing to put it all to increase the odds of her survival?"

"You're right. We're ultimately trying to make the best mech possible so that Captain Orfan will win her honor duel. None of us should complain about our workload."

Now that the physical construction of the New Sentinel was about to be finished, Ves could finally load in the new software and see for sure whether the mech worked as expected. They didn't have much time left before the duel commenced!

Humanity has conquered half the galaxy and the Age of Mechs reigns supreme!

Ves Larkinson lacked the genetic aptitude to become a famed mech pilot. Fighting against his fate, he studied mech design in order to express his love for mechs as a builder instead of a soldier.

When Ves graduated from college, he returned to a new but empty boutique. Left with a small, newly founded mech workshop that his father painstakingly built with a mountain of debt, Ves somehow needs to make ends meet with the bank breathing down his neck.

In the midst of his despair, he found salvation from another legacy his father had left.

"Welcome to the Mech Designer System. Please design your new mech."
