Eric lightly placed a clunky typewriter on the desk and wiped the sweat off his forehead. He missed his past extra thin and light notebook. It had been a day since he found out about his extraordinary memory, and after twenty four hours of careful thinking, Eric had drawn a preliminary plan about his future.
 
He deliberately took a day off, strolled most of his day time and bought a secondhand typewriter which happened to be an essential tool to the realization of his plan.
 
After processing Ralph's funeral, Eric had a few hundred dollars of cash left in his hands. Western countries having a good welfare system, it had always been a no savings policy here. (TL: Author has obviously never experienced the US' welfare system, lol.)
Fortunately, the house was his propriety, or else, thanks to his lack of funds to pay for the mortgage, it would have been seized and he would have to sleep on the streets as a result. To buy the typewriter, Eric had to ask Jeff for a month's salary in advance.
 
In order to realize his own dreams, he had to first break into the Hollywood circle. Let's temporarily forget about directing or acting. After much deliberation, the most suitable job he could think of was screenwriter. Although people always said that this Hollywood era's screenwriters had a low standing, it was not actually true. It was just because a lot of the best screenwriters switched to directing and producing, which had become mainstream overseas, like in Hong Kong for example.
 
Placing a blank sheet of paper into the typewriter, Eric started typing the following words: Jurassic Park. That's right, the 1990s most profitable film series.
 
In Eric's past life, whether they had bought the pirated copy of Jurassic Park or had watched the movie in theater, they had all experienced the moment when the lifelike dinosaurs appeared on the screen, and the feeling they got then could only be described in one word: Shocking.

If he made it into a script, and one of those film companies took a fancy to it, once they made it into a movie, they would hit the jackpot financially while Eric would maybe get a 100,000$ and a bonus if he was lucky. That kind of business that benefitted everyone but himself, Eric had absolutely no interest in it.
 
However, if he published the novel, the movie and television copyrights would be his, and Eric only needed to wait for the opportunity when the price offered was high enough before racking in the profits.
Immersed in his work, time flew by and night had soon fallen. Eric looked down at his keyboard, only to realize that he had unknowingly been writing for four/five hours in a row as his stomach started growling.
 
Eric stood up and glanced at the thick stack of paper on the desk while he stretched himself. According to his typing speed, the manuscript should be complete in one week of time. He still had to do his waiting job at Jeff's restaurant after all, otherwise, he'd starve.
Going into the kitchen, Eric made himself a simple dinner consisting of rice and scrambled eggs with tomatoes, a typical Chinese dish. There was still some cheese bread and peanut butter in the fridge but although he inherited the original guy's memory, his Asian habits were already ingrained.
 
After eating, Eric went to the second floor balcony and leaned against the railing as he gazed at the night around him. The apartment where he lived was a little less than 200 square meters, a two-story house with some random flowers planted in the yard. Eric's father wasn't rich and his personality was sloppy to say the least, so the duo's life had been very rough. In his memory, they had moved seven or eight times from England to Los Angeles. Eric didn't remember why it was so as he was too young, but to be honest, even the current him couldn't make any sense of it. It was better to just forget about it.
 
After moving to Los Angeles, Ralph dragged little Eric to stroll the streets. In just two days, with the help of a real estate broker, they bought the small courtyard that was a complete visual mess. Eric smiled, the concept of "home care" was part of his Asian culture.
 
He stayed on the balcony for a while, and just as he was planning to go back and keep writing Jurassic Park, he suddenly heard a loud sound that seemingly came from glassware hitting the ground. Eric set his sights on the west side of the neighborhood, the Runkle's house. A  40-year-old couple with three children; the eldest son was in university, the daughter at a boarding school and the youngest was only seven years old.
 
That couple might be experiencing a midlife crisis as they quarreled a lot these days. Although Eric had a good relationship with the Runkle family, he did not intend to go there and mediate them, they were people with restraint who wouldn't fight violently. If he hastily ran to the other side and tried to pacify them, that'd only make things awkward.
 
After a few bickerings and the fuzzy sounds of a few appliances breaking, the Runkle's home door was banged open. Charles Runkle, the man of the house, came out wearing a shirt and clutching his messy hair. He turned to the woman at the door and shouted: "Enough, I've had enough! Damn bitch! If I hadn't moved to Los Angeles in order to marry you, I might have become a GM executive. Now look at you, my God!"
 
"Go to hell !" Mrs. Runkle usually always spoke in a soft voice, but this time she sounded particularly loud and sharp: "In the past, so many men were pursuing me, one is now a California congressman, another one is selling petroleum in the Middle East. Petroleum do you hear ?! The profit of a single shipment is more than what you can earn in a 100 years ! The one with regrets is this old lady. Now go sleep at your General Motors, mister "GM executive" !"
 
When Mrs. Runkle finished speaking, she threw a black jacket out and slammed the door.
 
Charlie Runkle picked it up and patted it. He stood up only to see Eric standing on the balcony.
 
"Sorry to disturb you, Eric." Charlie smiled at him.
 
"It's okay, Charlie… Do you want to come in?" Eric said.
 
Charlie shook his head: "… No, thank you, I … I'm going to go to the bar for a bit… and I'll be back in a while when Mary has calmed down."
Charlie then nodded to Eric, started his car and drove away.
 
Eric returned to his room. Remembering the Runkle couple's quarrel scene, an idea flashed in his mind. As he sat at his desk and loaded a blank sheet of paper into the typewriter, that idea gradually became clearer.
 
Over the past two days, Eric had been pondering about what his first screenplay should be, and now he had the answer. That play was a perfect fit for him, but ah, as expected, some details needed to be worked on as the time difference had to be taken into account. However, this was not a problem, these minor details wouldn't hinder the script in the slightest.

All duels in this fanfic will be in separate chapters from the story, so if you don't wanna see them, you really don't have to! I do recommend reading through the major ones though, those will have quite a bit of story to them. Don't worry, I'll put [MAJOR] in duel titles if they are!

Next, please read the basics of the rules so as to gain an understanding of what's going on:

Life points in this series will be set to 4000 upon duel start, characters cannot set monsters face down unless they have a flip effect, and this fanfic uses master rule 3.)

Each player gets 5 slots to play their monster cards. Each player gets 5 spell slots to play their spell and trap cards.

There are multiple types of summoning, this series will have:

Normal Summoning - Each person only gets one normal summon per turn, each monster below level 5 can be normal summoned, unless stated otherwise by the card.

Tribute Summoning - Another type of normal summoning, for level 5-12 monster cards. You must sacrifice/send monsters to the graveyard for this type of summon.
(Level 5-6 monsters require one sacrifice, 7-12 require two.)

Special Summoning - There are an infinite amount of special summons in one turn, normally special summons happen due to a spell or trap card effect, but monsters have effects that allow for special summoning too.

Fusion Summoning -  Another type of special summoning. Fusion monsters are contained in the "Extra Deck." You can summon a fusion monster by using a spell or trap that allows you to fuse two or more monsters listed on a fusion monster's card.
(Fusion material/ the monsters you sacrifice to fusion summon are sent to the graveyard unless specifically stated otherwise.)

Players start with 5 cards in hand and draw one card every turn.

Decks can have 40-60 cards.

So I didn't post a chapter yesterday, I know I know. I'm still writing the chapter.. Anyway, for my school work I had to write a short play script so I decided to... write it about the coming chapter 24 and 25!

Of course you don't have to read it but if you want spoilers, sure you can read this. Of course the real chapter will have more detail but the play script shows the main outline. 

Playscript: Biology Exam

Cast:Joon Woo , Ms. May, maid and Snow.

Scene 1
(Joon Woo visits Snow at the weekend) 
Maid: (loudly) Snow, Joon Woo is here!
Snow: (loudly) Okay, I'll be right down!
(Snow rushes down the stairs while Joon Woo enters the house) 
Joon Woo: Hi Snow, long time no see!
Snow: (Smiling) You should have told me you were coming, Joon Woo. 
Joon Woo: I just wanted to surprise you! 
Mother: (Joyfully) Why don't the two of you talk in Snow's room, you too haven't seen each other in years! 
Snow: (signs at Joon Woo to follow her) Follow me, Joon Woo!

Scene 2
(Joon Woo nd Snow talks together)
Joon Woo : (Impressed) You have such a nice room!
Snow: (Giggles) You think so?

(Results of exam are out)

Snow had always knew that her parents weren’t her real parents. She knew that they just raised her after her mother had passed away on the hospital bed when she was only two. Nevertheless, she still pretended that she didn’t know about the adoption, even if she knew very well. Her adopted parents were doctors from top hospitals and were very serious and strict about not only their jobs but also their entire life. One day in Snow’s  childhood, she was chasing after a fluffy but big dog and bumped into a boy. That boy’s name was Joon Woo. Ever since that day, the two became the bestest of friends who were unseperable. One day, when Snow was just twelve and Joon Woo was sixteen, Joon Woo joined a boy group to be an idol. As he wanted to share the news with his best friend, he failed to. He had a gut feeling that if he did tell her, their friendship will drift away to different worlds. He knew very well that Snow was never comfortable around people who were ‘better’ than her in fear of constantly being compared. He never told her years and she never found out. Even though she noticed their similar features, she always told herself the two people were different. However, Joon Woo started to always act weird. For example, he would try to hide his face when they were out in public and his schedules were always cramped and busy. She always kept her head with the thoughts but whenever he ocasionally comes to her school to study with her, her uneasiness faded and she could only smile. A new transfer comes to the school and he is very handsome, soon he comes to like Snow. Joon Woo being protective, he makes sure that the new transfer student won’t touch her and a love triangle starts to take place.  Meanwhile, all was going well until the day Snow’s parents were involved in a medical incident which made them go to court. All Snow could do was to cry even though she actually knew the truth about the incident and how her parents were innocent but there stood her childhood friend. Joon Woo dragged her to the court to say what she knew before Min Jun could help her and he got the idea. On the other hand, she did but before the court was settled, people had already seen Joon Woo’s face. Facing the rumours and gossip wasn’t easy as Joon Woo told her not to believe them. She wasn’t sure what to believe. She finally concludes that her best friend was hiding things from her. What else did he hide from her? Through all the pressure and stress, Snow fails her exam and was scared to face her parents. She knew that she would be lectured and this time, she didn’t have the courage to face Joon Woo for help and motivation. Not knowing what to do, Snow runs away from home and stays at a small cottage for a year only to chase after a fluffy and big dog that looked like the one that brought her to meet Joon woo. Coincidentally, Snow bumps into the same friend she broke ties with a year ago. As she forgave him for the secret he hid from her , the two get mixed up in each other’s life again and gets even closer this time.

Chapter 226. Two similar shows (2)
"Long Lu, what are you watching? Tomorrow we have our final exam! Quickly start studying!"
In a four-person dormitory room, four girls were sitting in front of a desk, each of them holding a book in their hands.

The other girls became excited when they heard that it was a show featuring a heavenly king.
All people have some little interest in a celebrity that has been titled as one of the heavenly kings of the Chinese entertainment industry. 
That's why, the other girls flocked around Long Lu and started watching the broadcast, forgetting that they have exams tomorrow.
On the screen, a man wearing some casual clothes was sitting on a sofa, his demeanor elegant and refined. He was talking to a cute, short girl sitting in front of him.

The thoughts of the three girls were practically the same and Long Lu couldn't help but glare at them.
"You three can't see the male god sitting there. Isn't that enough for the show to be running?"
"Only you think like that."
"You are talking like that because he's your favorite celebrity. You should come out of your decision."
"I don't want to keep watching just to hear his praises. Look, the comment section is getting more violent."
One of the girls said as she pointed at the comments appearing on the screen. The other girls focused on the screen.
-I can't watch more.
-I thought it would be exciting since there's a heavenly king appearing but….
-All of you people should go to sleep if you think like that.
-Yes, don't watch the show.
-We are just writing down our thoughts. No need to get aggressive.
-Hey guys!! Change the channels and watch A celebrity daily life!! There's something unexpected going on in that show.
Even though the show was boring, it was still featuring the heavenly king. The number of fans of a heavenly king are a force to reckon with.
The people who were speaking negative about the show were soon kicked out but one of the comments interested the four girls.

One of the girls who don't know about the show asked and Long Lu answered her.

One of the girls told her about the format of the show and how it was similar to A house date with Meng Meng.

"From what I know, Meng Meng's show is younger. It's the copy probably."
"They have just changed the format a little."

Long Lu pointed to the comments section and the other girls also stared at it.

"It's nothing too big; it's just a card game. Oh well, I don't think we can play anything at all. What interests do you normally have?" Lin Che thought that Gu Jingze seemed to be a person with no interests.

His handwriting was just like him; it was beautiful on the surface. Each stroke was clean and neat. It didn't seem to leave excess ink and it was extremely tidy.
Lin Che looked at Gu Jingze in awe, "It's beautiful. You're great! Oh my, I want to learn too."
Gu Jingze handed the brush to her, "Okay, come try it. It's actually very easy. Once you hold the brush properly, don't hesitate to write."
It was easy - for him.
But to Lin Che…
She mimicked Gu Jingze's actions and very soon, a black blob appeared on the paper.
Gu Jingze asked speechlessly, "Can you write properly?"
"Be more serious, Lin Che. Why is your hand shaking when you write?"

Gu Jingze held Lin Che's arm from behind. Lin Che smiled subtly, feeling Gu Jingze hold onto her hand. They started writing stroke by stroke again on the paper.
His breath beside her ear made it burn up slightly. Her hand was also held tightly by him. Her entire body was almost wrapped in his embrace.
Those handsome cheeks were almost pressed against her face. It felt so intimate.
Lin Che's heart was already racing. She relied on his strength and wrote a poem.
'To win my beloved's heart, until death doth gray-haired part.'
Lin Che's heart moved.
Even though she knew that it was just a poem, it made her heart look forward uncontrollably.

Lin Che said, "Wow! Do you see it? I'm too good at this. Can I frame this up and hang it in my room?"
"That room has a modern design. If you hang this… it won't match well."
"But I want to hang it," Lin Che said.

Seeing Lin Che so happy, Gu Jingze caressed her hair and breathed in her scent.
He closed his eyes for a brief moment to control himself.
But closing his eyes made him think about it more.
She wanted to walk away, but she felt him grab her waist forcefully.
She let out a sound and felt Gu Jingze's warmth closing in on her. He brushed against her back, "Don't move…"
"What… What are you doing…"
"I said stop moving. Come and let me look at you."
"Y-y-you… No way. This is the study room. Don't you still have a video conference…"
"They can wait," Gu Jingze hugged her and with one lift, she was already on his desk.
Lin Che instantly thought that he was really going to do something, "Y-y-you… Don't do this. I can't…" 
"Don't move. I want to look at you," he said and lifted up her skirt.
At home, she wore a simple skirt and there was just a panty underneath it.
Gu Jingze held her ankles and lifted her legs up.
Lin Che exclaimed speechlessly, "What… What are you doing? We can't do this…" Her face was red as she helplessly grabbed his arms. She was extremely nervous.
Gu Jingze looked at her, "Don't move. I'm just looking. Really, I'm not going to do anything to you."
"But…"
He pressed his lips against hers, swallowing her panic into his mouth.
After that, he then slowly moved his kisses down her body.
Lin Che lifted her head and breathed heavily.
When she felt his kiss already reach her darkest spot, she then quickly said, "Don't do this, I…"
"Be good… Your wound is not healed yet, so I can't touch you. Just treat this as an alternative solution."

"But what? If we can't have an alternative solution, are you going to let me suffocate?"
Lin Che immediately blushed. What kind of alternative solution was this?

Lin Che panicked and quickly grabbed his arms, "No, no. Someone is here, Gu Jingze."
Gu Jingze put Lin Che down. He looked speechlessly at the door and felt gloomy.
Lin Che said, "Quick, wash up… Idiot, I told you that we can't."
She hurriedly ran to the connected bathroom and simply washed her face.
Gu Jingze also followed after her. He looked at his own body and took a deep breath. He felt pure annoyance at whoever was outside.
At this moment, the door opened and a maid said, "Madam, the security said that someone is here for you."
Someone was looking for her?
Lin Che was puzzled. When she walked out, she saw that the person standing outside was Yang Lingxin.

Great_Y here, I would like to first say sorry to all the readers who enjoyed this story and are looking forward to a new chapter.

I decided to put this story on hold as I am not satisfied with the speed of releases and the content I'm writing. I started this story as a small hobby of mine to improve my writing skills and (if possible) make it as my career after gaining enough experience but it has been difficult to write this story while working.

I'm not giving up on my passion but I feel that this story needs a different style of writing, different from webnovel format. I understood after writing for the past two months that this story can truly shine only when I develop the entire plot and plan ahead into the future to fully show the intelligence of Aons and their technology. Many of you might have noticed that I had cut corners at many places like not introducing the characteristics of races or just using regular tropes like lizardmen; this was done due to lack of time to think of names and create unique creatures, there is also a lack of character development and supporting roles to make the story more diverse. I really want to complete this story but my current capabilities are inadequate especially in character interactions.
I am going to write a new novel more suitable to webnovel format and put this story on hold, I hope you understand. I will definitely pick it up later when I'm more confident in doing justice to it.

Lately, Jie Jie has been coming and going out of YNG's headquarters more frequently. After getting her pass, she could enter and leave without being held back at the gate by the guards. Some of them have even started to remember her and greeted whenever they met. 

"Auditions will start by the beginning of next week. That day you will also meet director Ye Hao and the producers." Min Lee said while they were taking a break at the coffee machine. 

Working on the script has been going smoothly. Min Lee found that collaborating with Jie Jie was an easy task. Unlike many other authors, Jie Jie was considerate and didn't have many unreasonable demands. She was also improving the script with unique ideas and gave reasonable assistance where it was necessary. He was pleasantly surprised at her working attitude as well. Although the person is quite strange sometimes, she never gave him a headache if it was work-related. 

"Do I have to be there for the auditions?" Jie Jie asked. 

Well, sometimes, though, he couldn't tell if she just doesn't care...

In moments like this, a typical author should be much more interested in the casting of the actors for their characters. But Jie Jie had no desire to attend. 

"Yes, of course! Even though you won't officially attend as the author, your opinion remains valuable. As the author, you must have an impression of your characters. It is best if we could find people who will fit the role."

"You don't?" Jie Jie was not convinced. Her belief was that everything screen related was based on looks, and looks only. 

"Looks are important, but we need to find people who look natural in their roles. What's more important is the vibe they give off. That's why not necessarily all actors resemble their role descriptions. And more important is to find actors who have chemistry next to each other. Especially if it comes to notable pairings. Naturally, there will be angered fans when their favourite character looks nothing like the description, but sometimes that can't be helped."

"So, I have to come?" 

"Yes! It's not like you have something else to do, right?" If any other author had said that they couldn't make it or would leave anything to them, Min Lee would probably rejoice. But somehow he felt challenged when Jie Jie doesn't show any interest in the production. The human brain was indeed a strange pit of contradictions and inconsistencies. 

"Ugh..." Jie Jie couldn't admit that she had a side job, could she? 
"I will be there..."

People thought that writing a few lines couldn't take much time, but it does take a lot of time to write if you want to write decently. And Jie Jie would rather die than deliver crap unless she doesn't want to be an author anymore. The more the story progressed, the more she had to consider. 

Writing an online novel was different than writing a book. Since the chapters are released one after another, there's seldom a chance to go back in time. She had to connect all loose ends before publishing. 

Lately, she understood why so many other web novelists used fillers. And why their stories lose focus the more time goes by. 

Jie Jie also stumped on those matters. Regarding essential events, she lacked time to do research or made it foolproof. There were specific time frames and storylines, but during writing, some authors tend to change their mind in the face of development and fan reactions. The pressure was enormous. 

It's not like everything was always in her grip. She was powerless, even as an author. Whatever she imagined in her head, once it's written down, it doesn't make sense or was too far fetched. Sometimes she lacked the strength to improve the situation or the imagination to bend the story to her will. 

Her favourite characters were those that wrote their own stories. As an author, there is no greater joy than to have a character come to life on their own. Writing those characters were the easiest. Sometimes there are even personas that made such a strong impact that they change the whole storyline. When a figure like that came to life, the author becomes the assistant—one who just have to narrate the story. 

Work doesn't become easier, though. Sadly, it was hard to include such an overbearing character into a static story. Losing the reign over your own story, everything would become chaotic. Once an author forgets who the main character is, the whole story would be lost.

That's why some stories never come to an end. That's the worst nightmarish ending for a novel. Not only for the author, who got lost on the way but also for the readers who will never know the end of the tale. Having a bad end was still better than having no end at all. Still, Jie Jie had to discipline herself whenever she tends to stray from the main plot. And she found out that she did it so many times unknowingly, making her deleting stuff and going in circles day after day. 

To tell the truth, she underestimated web novels. As someone who wrote a bestseller, she expected that writing an online novel would be child's play. But she was wrong. 

There were not many thoughts she wasted on it when she was writing for fun. What happens happens. But now that she was commissioned, she found out that apart from a beginning and an end, she had not planned out that much beforehand. There was just a rough outline, but the details were jumbling in her head. Because she had to do daily updates, the mess in her head became bigger and bigger. It was hard not to throw the towel. Until now, she was able to fool her readers because things were still fun and giggles. But it's going nowhere. She felt the pressure accumulating. 

People thought that she only has to write a chapter a day, but the truth was, in her head, half of the book has to be written in advance. If she didn't do so, the story would become incomprehensible and would never connect well the more it advances. 

And if she didn't prepare, it would be even harder to write, because she had no lifeline to hold on. That's like swimming in the ocean and holding on to driftwood. 

"You are so strange." Min Lee said, "Normally authors died to have the right add their opinion on the matter of casting." 

"I have a say in those matters?" This was the first time she had heard of this. She had heard from so many that the author has not much say in those matters. That's why she didn't feel like her physical appearance was of any concern. 

"I thought those castings are just a matter of appearance..." Jie Jie told Min Lee her honest thoughts. 

"What? No! Why would we spend time and money on castings if we have a cast already? Does that make sense?" Min Lee was shocked to hear that Jie Jie had such a bad opinion of their circle. Where did she get those ideas? 

"I think you watch too many dramas?" Min Lee laughed. Where else could she have gotten those prejudices from? 

"We do have our eyes on some actors and actresses, of course. Having someone who is highly in demand helps with sales. But it's not like we always get the ones we want. Sometimes some new actors excel at a certain role, so we don't mind changing perception. That's what casting is for."

"So it's like that." Maybe she was biased thanks to Bai Jingyi and Luo Min Kai, two extremes who changed her outlook on the life of show biz and entertainment. 

"What are you thinking about?" Min Lee saw that Jie Jie suddenly fell into deep thoughts. 

"Min Lee, say, is the audition open to anyone?"

"Not 'anyone', of course. Our time is limited. But we like to keep our options open. Why are you asking?" Min Lee had a bad premonition. 

"Then, could I recommend someone to the audition?" 

Min Lee eyed Jie Jie for sometime before answering vaguely: "Since you're the author, we appreciate your opinion. But there is no guarantee that that person will get a role or have an advantage during the audition. On the contrary, YNG does not approve of using the back door. The person coming in through relations would go through harsher screening than all the others to make it fair. I hope you will not be disappointed if it doesn't work out." 

Usually, Min Lee would never approve of such things. 

There were a lot of authors who thought they could pick whomever they fancied. Or stockholders and investors who thought they could choose any role for their lovers to play out. YNG has never approved of such measures, even at the loss of profit. 

Of course, YNG Entertainment was biased towards their own actors, so if they do production, other actors and actresses will find it hard to set foot into the casting list. But if an individual tried to pick roles, that's a breach of the companies values. Yang Yun hated such things. Not one of his previous lovers had ever gotten a role through his connections. They did get some exposure, though, gaining some fame by standing next to him. That was the only favour he did them. But for most, it was more than enough to step onto the ladder. 

"It doesn't matter. It's a chance. And I think this person will fit the role very well..." 

Of course, Jie Jie had high expectations. She had nothing to lose, but for Jingyi, this could be a chance that won't come twice. If she could abuse her rank as the author to open a door for him, she would not hesitate. Why hadn't she thought of this before? Should she start to be more aware of opportunities from now on? Maybe there was more she could do for Jingyi, now that she was involved in the production. She doesn't approve of the abuse of power, but where there's a will, there's a way. Be willful once! 

She wasn't sure how good Jingyi's acting was, but she knew that he did take acting lessons along with singing and dancing. And if it's him, he had an advantage the others couldn't possibly have. 

Since he didn't even have the permission to do it, he shouldn't agree that easily, but he couldn't deny his personal interest in the person who changed Jie Jie's mind. It was apparent that she became much more engaged once it was fot the benefit of someone else. Who was it? A friend? A lover perhaps? Well, it doesn't matter. A bunch of people still owe Min Lee a favour. It wasn't that hard to add a name on a list. Whether or not they get the role was up to the individuals own vices. 

"What role do you have in mind for that person? I will put them on the list." 

"The role of 'Bai Ling'." Jie Jie said with determination. 

It wouldn't matter much whether or not Jingyi could act when the person he had to portray was himself, wasn't it?

I open with a towel around my head holding my wet hair in place. He is laying on his bed sketching facing the bathroom door. 

He smiles. "Do you always look this good when your done taking a shower?" I laugh as he smiles at me as if he's seeing a goddess.

"Haha you don't mean that." 

"I totally do." He gives me a little smile as his face turns a bit pink. 

"You're such a flirt." I say putting my stuff at the foot of the bed and smile. "Now scootch over."  He scootches over and I sit next to him. "What you drawing?"

"My soulmate." He says blushing red. I take a peak at the drawing and it's me.

"So, I'm your soulmate?" I giggle.

"Your words not mine." He smirks.

"Right....." I say. "I keep forgeting." That's a lie...I don't forget. I love him...Or I think I do....but then Liam enters my mind. I can't stop thinking of both of them.

"Hey I will finish this in a bit. I'm going to take a shower." He says getting a bit pink. He stands up quickly. 

"Y-yeah o-okay." I say as I think about how he's going to be showering while I'm in his room. Ahhh it's too much for me to handle. As I grab my backpack he goes into his closet and grabs some clothes and goes into the bathroom. I try not to look at him as he closes the door.

I take out the old brown book with a gold symbol on it that looks like a swirl of magic. I can believe my Liam gave me a book like this and powers. I connect my earbuds to my phone and put on my Beatles play list. I open it and there is a script "With Power becomes great responsibility, Use it wisely, Use it for good, and stay true to yourself. Power can change people. ~ The Coven" I flip through to see the pages. Its a lot of writing a pictures in one big bulkey old book. It has everything from Faries to Vampires and from Mermaids to Werewolves. There are spells all over it. Am I supposed to study all of this?! 

I flip through some more. Who knew this other world exsisted. Wait....I stop at this page Hybrids....They are considered miracles. At least that's what to books say. It makes me think I am a miracle....but no....it's just this pendant. It's just this stupid necklace. I hold it in my palm...Spells. 

I look through the pages. A loctator spell, A invisibility spell, A scream spell, and just so many spells.I flip through some more. There are even love potions in here. I can make spells and potions...Wow....I find this page....its called the dream Hologram. It can get to anyone or anything no matter the distance. I read the spell and I see there is writing in the Margin. "I love you Ella...Plz send me a message ~ <3 Love Liam" His handwriting is beautiful. Its nicer than before but then again we were younger and my writing is better now too. 

I smile at the thought he still thinks of me....Ella....Just a small girl in huge world full of Possibilities. Why me....

I blush and put my hand over it. 

"I love you too Liam..." I blush red. I start crying. He remembers me....He always has....Damnit....Why did I ever doubt him....I swear...Oh my god....I can't believe this....

"Ella!" Dylan yells as he rushes out of the bathroom he is wearing just shorts. He walk over to me and he hugs me tight. I cry harder barely noticing the warth of his shirtless body.
