Libraria was not as busy as this morning back then when it was just a settlement with nothing but buildings that stored grimoires and spellbook. But within just 10 years, the ruler of the Azuria Kingdom had decreed that Libraria should be the new capital city, thus inviting many peoples from Azuria to develop and built the city within. The result was many new buildings were built so did the five meters height walls that had been surrounded the city for 8 years since Libraria had been a functioned city.
The dirt road paved with gravels and brick, no more horse cart that splashed on a puddle. Some area of the city was still as wild, but citizens decided to preserve it to reminded them toward the nature that had been blessing them. Among those busy citizens, many adventurers who had been officially registered in this city were as busy as them, for a new and better job and promising payment from the generous ruler of Azuria. It was no chores to distinguish them among the pedestrians since they usually had their gears with them everywhere all day.
"Good morning, Sir! I have been lost since this morning, so, if you could help us, can you show the direction of the blacksmith?"
An adventurer group, with the man wearing leather armour and boots, and greatsword hanged behind the back. He should be the leader, after all, a warrior-class leader had been a trend among the group of adventurers. He asked a blonde person with a blue uniform with the heraldry of shield and gargoyle on the back - officer knight of Azuria.
"Well, Libraria is a big city, after all! From here follow this street-" the officer pointed toward the way he came from, "-and you will see a building with hammer and tongs picture on its door! That's the blacksmith!" he said.
"Hammer and tongs, right, I see! Thank you!" he bowed, and then turned toward his party, "You guys, let's go!" he then left, followed by his party of cheery and promising adventurers; an ironclad man presumably a guardian-class if judged by his armour and giant shield, and two other girls, one with robe and wooden staff should be the mage-class while the other was an elven ranger-class; long ears, golden hair, wearing a dress and leather tunic and short bow she had carried.
The officer continued with his walks, perhaps he had been in his daily morning patrol around the Libraria "They must be new here!" he mumbled, scratching his blonde golden messy hair. His blue pair of eyes raging like the ocean had been trained with vigilant. Nothing suspicious characters could hide among the bystanders, not even a puny pickpocket had a chance under his watch.
As the sun gradually went west, so did the lunchtime, his shift came to an end today. On the park, the clock tower stood firm taunting the sun to bask its light against its porcelain-made body. Not so far, there was a statue that resembled a pawn chess piece with its head glowing an amber yellow. Spark of lights floated around it like a swarm of fireflies, refused to leave the statue alone. It was constructed with Mithril, according to historians.
"Statue of Outlander Call, huh?"
A tap on his shoulder shattered his daydreaming, "Leonhard!" said the woman with the same blue coat as him, except she wore a witch hat to protect her viridescent short hair. She yawned as a small drop of tears leaked from her pair of topaz eyes.
"It's Leonharth, Nina!"
"Whatever!" she replied, "Anyway, done with patrol?" there was a bench nearby, creaking as she slammed her voluptuous ass on it, "Ugh, so tiring as usual! Hey, sit here!"
He sat on where she just tapped to signalled him where to sit, so close, perhaps she had something to tell, or another curiosity of her needs to be quenched.
"So, what's this?"
She took her witch hat off and used it to fan her sweaty neck, "It's been a week since the last outlander came to our kingdom! We still need more before the calamity had the chance to manifest even more disaster!"
"So far we still have three outlanders registered as active adventurers!" he said, then his head hanged while enthusiastically watching over the pedestrians passing by within his sight. "So, what are the outlanders actually? They came here with mystery-"
"Hey, hey! The statue!"
The statue of the pawn chess piece located in the centre of this park, right beside the clock tower, usually glows gently surrounded by sparkles of light, suddenly radiated stronger lights and emitted a giant glow of amber. Soon a beam of light shooting into the sky which eventually vanished as the glow turned weaker and eventually back to normal glow.
"Well, that's all!" he said, but soon he took his word back as the sparkles gathered, creating a cocoon of condensed light. It grew larger and larger, as large as adult human size could fit inside. Later, the cocoon of light shattered into the thin air, revealing what had been constructed inside.

Asandra sat to the side and watched three slaves kneeling on the wooden floor, appearing restless, with a tall, stalwart figure draped in a loose robe looming over them, examining them in silence. The silent treatment has been going on for the past five minutes, ever since they entered. Even the seductress seemed averse to meeting his gaze, and Asandra well-understood as to why. The imposing nature of his wasn't something that even people of Noble upbringing would handle well, let alone those who were never taught the countenance.
One day left – tomorrow, the Princess would depart. And, as far as Asandra knew, Noah would too, and that would mean she would as well. She didn't think he trusted the young Princess enough to let her go through with this insane plan all on her own, especially so because of the weighing circumstances that would follow – meaning that the others would begin joining soon after.
"Reya," Noah spoke, at last, addressing the woman dressed scantly who flinched upon the mention of her name. "How confident are you in prying the tight lips open?"
"… depends on whose." The woman replied, taking a deep breath.
"Say… that lad Ferimir Io."
"… the merchant's slob?"
"That one."
"I imagine even a pig could pry his lips open," Reya shrugged, seeming somewhat offended. "Why?"
"It's simple," Noah flashed her a strange smile, crouching down to her eye-level. "Whisper the sweetness into his ears and convince him to donate at least a thousand Crowns to the Princess's campaign." What has that got to do with prying the lips open!? Asandra rolled her eyes, though saying nothing, merely nibbling away at the red-grapes.
"… how much time do I have?" she asked after a short deliberation.
"Two days," Noah said. "I'll give you an opportunity to meet him."
"If I fail?"
"Ensure your motives aren't found out," he replied. "And report back to Myrell."
"… I'll try." She said, biting her lower lip. It wasn't impossible, per se. But it would certainly be challenging. While Ferimir was as loose-lipped as they come, his satchel wasn't quite like that.
"Don't push too hard," he said. "Give him a nudge or two, and if he isn't budging, retreat. No need to risk your head, alright?"
"… yes."
"Fylcon, you and Row will be coming with me tomorrow, to the Brightfloods," Ah, so we are going… Asandra mused while the young boy flinched. "You won't be going all the way, though; you'll be stationed in the midway port town, and will be responsible for relaying both the messages and the goods as quickly as possible. Less terrified yet?" Noah flashed him a grin as he walked back to Asandra, taking up a bottle of ale and pouring himself a cup. "You'll be responsible for Olivia over there," he turned to Asandra and spoke out. "It's fine if she gets bruised a couple of times, preferable even. But no life-threatening shenanigans."
"… what about you?" Asandra asked with an arched brow.
"I got that mountain over there," he pointed at Row who seemed too preoccupied with studying something on the floor to register him. "And, besides, who's going to focus on the old, limp Dacent next to the Princess herself?"
"… you're really good at selling yourself short," Asandra snorted. If there was one person the least likely to die on their outing, it was him and him alone. "But babying the Princess hardly sounds like a fun task."
"… it might not be fun, but it will be busy." Noah said.
"Busy? Didn't you say she wouldn't have to actually fight the Kindled?"
 "Who said anything about the Kindled?" Noah shrugged, sitting down. "I expect quite a few attempts at her life on your way over. I don't expect anything to happen once we arrive, but anything is possible. I'll really get to test the sharpness of your blade."
"… they'd resort to that?" Asandra question, frowning.
"Of course they will," Noah chuckled bitterly. "With a single, a few minutes long speech, she undid years of effort on her siblings' part. Whether they think she has any aspirations for the throne or not is really irrelevant; even if she doesn't, she would have the commonmen and women on her side, effectively making her a secondary ruler to the actual successor. The attempts won't be the open sort; I imagine there will all look like accidents of some sort. That's why you can go out and recruit three-four people you trust to accompany you. I'll also be watching from the side, but unless a literal worst-case scenario occurs, I won't be stepping in within any margin. It'll all be up to you."
"… won't the King prevent it, though?" Asandra asked further, sighing. "If you suspect it, he then probably knows it."
 "Prevent it how?" Noah asked, glancing at her. "Any intervention on his part would be seen as playing favorites and taking sides. It won't matter that his intentions weren't such, but if the public, be that the commoners or the Nobles were to hear the King making claims on the Princess's safety, I wager that half the bought, bribed and acquired support of the other children would vanish overnight. He did us a favor by not stepping in and stopping our parade."
"… is it alright for you to depart with her? You haven't set up anything here."
 "Myrell, Sash, and Evel are setting it up," Noah shrugged. "I've almost relayed all the operations to them; I'll simply be making a few visits tonight to ensure the word spreads, and that some rich get in on the action."
"… you trust your slaves an awful lot."
"It's not them, but my teachings," Noah smiled, looking at her. "And, in my humble opinion, no soul can go wrong with employing my teachings."
"Ah, yes, a humble opinion…��
"… I feel hurt over your doubts."
"Hurt away, then…"
The chambers fell silent, as none of the three still kneeling knew whether they were supposed to leave or stay. On the other hand, Asandra quietly began planning her own tasks on the journey over. If his words were to be believed, she would get little sleep in the next few weeks and months, and a lot of bruises from pushing the Princess out of the danger.
He was testing her, that much she understood, implicitly saying that if she can't save the Princess from attempts at her life that would all look like accidents, she wouldn't be able to do much for him. It has been many-a-year since someone asked her to prove herself, and since someone doubted her. A part of her felt angry, but rather than voicing it, she chose to accept his challenge. In a way, she found it somewhat fun; her life had turned into a drab repetition where she found little challenge in her everyday duties… all until she saw that cleanly sliced neck. Since then, she felt the fire inside of her rekindle, the everyday monotony break. And now, the one thing she had absolute confidence in… was challenged.
"You three go and report to Myrell," Noah said at last. "And have her start teaching you."
Rather than questioning what, the three bowed deeply, with Row following the example of the other two, before leaving the room, leaving Noah and Asandra sitting in silence.
 "… are you really an Outlander?" she asked, at last, the question that was burning in her mind since yesterday. He took a casual sip and glanced at her, that same smile still hanging like a portrait on the clean walls.
"Does it matter?"
"Of course it does," she said. "Have you still not realized the meaning of the Outlander?"
"… frankly? No," Noah replied. "Aren't there hundreds of Outlanders docking yearly at the Port?" he finally asked the question that confused him the most – what made him so different than them.
"They aren't Outlanders," Asandra shook her head. "We know where they hail from, just fear to speak about it. They give us maps, you know? You will never find them, be it that you bleed or die for them, but they do exist. And on those maps, they point to the land of their birth. I'd put down a wage, however," she added. "You wouldn't be able to." Well, duh… this, however, didn't tell him anything. Did it mean that all other, previous Outlanders were, actually, outworlders? Just like him?
"So… what is the meaning of an Outlander?" he asked.
"… depending on who you ask," she replied. "You would either be the world's penultimate evil… or good. There are groups within this very city worshiping the Outlanders rather than the Light, you know? You, technically, have your own religion."
"…" At least I know they didn't come from Earth, Noah mused inwardly. "You don't sound a fan, I must say."
"… I'm not," she said. "Every time an Outlander braced these lands… they changed. And it was never for good."
"… never?" Noah arched his brow. "What about the unification of the barbarian nations into one, beautiful, peaceful, loving Kingdom?"
"… I hope you'll be better than them." Rather than replying to his probe, she said a few simple words with a mysterious smile.
"… there's one difference between them and me. And a pretty big one at that."
"What? That you aren't nearly as cruel as we believe you are?" she scoffed.
"Well, that, yeah, but it's not the biggest," Noah flashed her a smile. "I doubt any other Outlander had the moral crusader with her sword at a ready, sitting by their asses all day long, examining their every move."
"… why do I feel both insulted and praised at the same time?" she chuckled, finishing her drink and getting up, stretching. "I'm going to practice some swings. Want to join me?"
"Swing away," he raised his cup and ushered her off with a smile. "Long months ahead await. Better be readier than ever before."

Noah finds himself stranded in a completely unfamiliar world after something went wrong with the 'Gates' mission back on Earth. Running low on supplies and with no means of contacting those who were supposed to arrive here with him, he will have to use his almost forty years of experience as a mercenary on Earth to survive, establish himself, and try and locate others, as well as learn if there is a way to go back home -- back to Earth.

I just wanted to let you know that I changed the listed genre of this story to Realistic Fiction instead of Fan Fiction. I don't know how this will affect the story, but rest assured, the story will continue as intended with BTS and friends despite the change.

To answer the question in the title:

1) The MC is Iris Huang, a fictional character along with her family and the other Big Hit trainees. Any k-pop idols included in this story are secondary leads. 

2) BTS are not the only k-pop included in this story; thus, this is more of a k-pop fanfic if anything. With that said, they are more integral to the story than the others. 

But because this story began as an entry into the BTS writing competition, I have since after its end gotten some hate for writing it merely due to BTS fanfics swamping the Fan Fiction section. (I really don't see the case for it because the top popular fan fics listed only showed 3 BTS fan fics including mine much lower down the browsing results. But with the contest, the sudden influx probably messed up the New section.) 

In short, imagine this as a fictional story that's realistic in being set in the modern world and time with real-life people's names. This story was never completely about BTS, it was about Iris surviving in the music industry. It's like saying a fantasy story can't also be a romance; even though, the story may be listed under Fantasy as the main genre. 

3) I see stories on here not listed as fan fiction when they're based on TV shows and series, and the story MC is clearly the MC of that original show. Since I think my story follows Realistic Fiction more than as a BTS fan fiction since it isn't totally centered around them, I changed it two weeks after the competition ended. Additionally, now no one can complain about their favorite fan fiction being overrun by BTS ones.... I don't want to inadvertently add to the hate that BTS receives for stupid reasons like this.

Hello, Panda here giving his final thoughts for his first completed fan fiction. Panda didn't expect that this fan fiction would take 1 year and 2 months to finish, in the beginning, Panda always thought that it might only take 5 months. But Panda experienced a lot of things in reality which made it too slow to finish, there were a lot of times when Panda wanted to give up because of the hardship and burden that Panda is experiencing in real life. It might not be the strongest burden but it was heavy since Panda has always been a stupid and clumsy panda and Panda doesn't have the set of skills in surviving alone. But thanks to some friends and readers's encouragement and thoughts, Panda persisted on this short and long journey of ours.
When Panda first created this fanfic, Panda expected that people who reads this would like it, well panda was wrong. There were people who hated it, which made Panda sad a few times. Although from the beginning, all the chapters that Panda has created was short like 400 to 600 words only, it also had somewhat like robot like talking or very cringe. it still made Panda feel the feeling of life or rather the feeling of relax, its hard to describe what Panda was feeling at that time, every end of chapter and sleeping or waiting for 8 hours to see the comments. Panda was hoping for people commenting "It was good" "Nice one!", which was within panda's expectation except for the bad comments which hurt Panda's self esteem and thoughts at that time.
Panda still felt happy seeing people liking Panda's fanfic, although there are a lot of mistake such as the title since why did Panda named it a lazy man's adventure? When the main character rarely is lazy and would do a lot of things. Well since this is the first creation of story making or fan fiction making of Panda then its is very common for Panda who is known for his clumsiness and beginner level to make a lot of mistakes. Also Panda only based his first creation from what Panda's read at most Panda could only make use of the 5 percent of what he reads from other novels and fanfic, since Panda's memory isn't powerful to create and remember everything.  Panda named it A lazy man's adventure because panda wanted to describe what Panda wanted to do if Panda was given 7 wishes, Panda was very lazy at that time so Panda named this fanfic a lazy man's adventure.
In conclusion, Panda felt that 75 percent of this creation was full of happiness and fun while 25 percent was the regret, headaches, angry, sad and tiredness since Panda creates chapters after Panda finishes his homework, exams and lessons from subjects, there were times panda failed because Panda's best wasn't enough for the job.  Anyway Panda thanks everyone for reading panda's first completed fan fiction, and Panda hopes to see you all in the second fan fan fiction that Panda will be creating.

Still, not everyone needs beginner level guides, even if they're a pure newcomer. Of course, if you're an established author who has experience writing long novels, feel free to ignore this article and move on to the next one, regardless of whether or not your story was successful. Or, perhaps you've never written long novels, but have the natural talent to write as easily as you drink water. In that case, there's no need for you to read this beginner level article anymore.

In fact, there's even plenty of newcomer authors that feel like it's incredibly difficult for them to write a short, several hundred word long essay, or to write an end-of-year reflection. But, when such newcomer authors try writing webnovels for the first time, they find their minds clearing up, with the ability to write like they are possessed, with storyline flowing out from under their proverbial pens just like a stream of water. Newcomers like these naturally don't need to read a beginner level guide like this one, either.

Those who truly need to read this article are those who put their hands at writing webnovels, but find that their minds are empty or filled with mud the moment they open up their computer documents. Perhaps you're a newcomer author who tried thinking for an entire day but only managed to write a few hundred words that even you think is garbage.

In such a case, for newcomers like you, how should you improve your writing, and write your first thousand, ten thousand, or hundred thousand words? How do you take the first step in becoming a god of writing?

I personally believe that you can try the several following tips.

1: Adjust your mentality and create a precise writing goal for yourself.

Unlike most other jobs, success as a webnovel author doesn't always come step by step. Some sufficiently talented newcomer authors are completely capable of earning hundreds of thousands, or even millions, on their very first novel. A single novel can make an author into a master, or even a grandmaster. There are also veteran authors who have been stuck at a certain level for a long time who might one day have an epiphany and find a new writing style more suitable for him or herself, turning them into a master overnight.

However, the cruel reality is, no matter if it's a newcomer becoming a master overnight, or a veteran suddenly improving, there's one condition that's an absolutely necessary prerequisite—

The author needs to already have strong writing skills. This means that such a wonderful thing is unlikely to have anything to do with you who's reading this article, as you're not even at the beginner level.

For authors who aren't even at the starter level, there's only one goal that you should be setting for yourselves. That goal is to be able to naturally write a long novel. To be more specific, there's two major goals within this goal.

The first goal is to be able to imagine and finish a story that's approximately 500,000 words. Simply speaking, you have to be able to write long novels.

This is because the natural way how webnovels work makes it so that only a longer novel can bring greater benefits for the author. The novel's ranking, influence, and author's fame are all affected by the novel's length. To achieve a respectable degree in these areas, the novel will typically need to be at least 1.5 million words or longer.

Of course, from a professional standpoint, a story written for the sake of practice doesn't really need to have that many words in it. That's because in theory, an author who's capable of finishing a 500,000-word long novel has already learned the foundational writing skills necessary. As long as such an author has a complete outline for their story, writing two or three million words will no longer be so difficult.

The second goal is to be able to write approximately five thousand words every day. Simply speaking, you must be able to write quickly.

This is because there's a huge number of webnovels out there, giving you immense competition. Based on webnovel readers' typical reading habits, only stories that have consistent updates will be able to obtain and maintain popularity. For a super consistent release, the lowest requirement is to update at least two chapters per day.

One chapter might have an average of around 2500 words. At the very minimum, they should at least be longer than 1500 words. This is why, for a webnovel author to become successful, their writing speed must be at minimum three to five thousand words per day. When calculating this by months, this means that you need to write at least 45,000 to 75,000 words per month. This is the most basic requirement.

Those are all the prerequisite conditions for newcomer authors to develop into starter level webnovel authors. At this level, the quality of your writing isn't that important. Nor is the popularity of your novel important, either. Being able to write a long novel and write quickly are the two main goals that you as a newcomer author should strive for.

Something that should be noted is that at this level, you should pay more attention to improving your own ability, rather than worrying about your story. There are no tests for you, nor are there any grades. By the time you're in the middle of the story, if you notice that you're having an easy time writing and can easily write five thousand words per day, in addition to having a clear outline for your entire novel, then congratulations. This means that you're now a starter level webnovel author.

2: Choose an appropriate genre and topic.

With the development of webnovels, there's so many genres out there already – eastern fantasy, high fantasy, martial arts, xianxia, modern, mystical, historical, military, gaming, competitions, science fiction, fan fiction…

All these genres have their own specialties, and have different popularity factors and important things to keep in mind when writing. Also, they all have different degrees of difficulty when writing them. Still, what needs to be noted is that these different genres will have varying degrees of difficulty for different authors.

Perhaps one author will find it incredibly painful to write historical fiction, while writing a mystical story is fun and relaxing for him. Meanwhile, another author might find it incredibly easy to write historical fiction, while writing a modern day novel feels all sorts of awkward for her.

Obviously, for authors that are total beginners, you should choose the easiest type of story to write for you. But, what if you don't even know what genre you should be starting out in?

Allow me to recommend a few easy genres for newcomer authors.

1: Fan fiction

Fan fiction refers to using an already existing story's characters and setting as the basis to create new stories. This is a type of story modification.

For example, you could write a story and call it "Harry Potter and His Adventures". This story could be about how Harry Potter ended up with Hermione, or how he has multiple girlfriends. This is an example of a fan fiction about Harry Potter.

What needs to be noted is that in the large majority of situations, fan fiction authors don't actually have the copyright to their own stories. Even if you wrote every single word of your fan fiction novel by yourself, you still have zero right to use your novel for any commercial purposes.

But, even so, fan fiction is still one of the best choices for total beginner authors. The reason is that they are quite simple to write.

When writing fan fiction, you don't need to think about a complicated world background or any detailed settings. Nor do you need to create a large amount of characters. Even the fan fiction's story can be inspired from the original novel. All these things, especially creating the setting and characters, are what newcomers typically have the most trouble with.

Basically, writing fan fiction will greatly simplify the writing process, directly avoiding the most difficult part of all. Without a doubt, this is the easiest way for newcomer authors to get started.

As for what story to base your fan fiction on, it first needs to be a story that you as an author have already read and are familiar with. Also, it's best if it's a story you truly love, perhaps even reading it several times over. This is the basic requirement for writing fan fiction.

On top of all that, I would recommend choosing to write fan fiction about a story whose copyright has already expired, such as "Romeo and Juliet" or "Don Quixote" and so on. Or, it would be best if you could somehow obtain permission directly from the author of the work that you intend to write fan fiction about.

Of course, even if you have no way to contact the author or obtain their permission, it's still fine to write fan fiction. This just means that you can only write for free, without earning any profits, and also respect the original author of the work. After all, for newcomer level authors like you, learning and improving your writing is the most important part. Since your novels are unlikely to be commercially viable at this stage, it's not all that important even if you write a fan fiction novel that you're not allowed to profit from.

2. Modern novels

This genre refers to novels that take place in a modern day urban setting. The city background is typically where the author has lived and is familiar with.

Compared with fan fiction, modern novels have the added difficulty of having to create your own characters. Still, it does decrease the amount of trouble you have to go to in creating a setting. Not only that, when writing character introductions, you can save a lot of effort in having to explain a lot of common knowledge, such as what a character's job entails, or their social status. Saving all this effort is quite precious for newcomers.

And compared to fan fiction, modern novels have their own advantages as well. That is to say, the author can more easily write themselves into the main character, making the storyline easier to think about. Normally speaking, all you need to do is to give the main character a special cheat, or a unique advantage, and the rest will flow as naturally as water.

For example, there's a very popular modern novel with a reincarnated main character. The protagonist has only a very simple cheat—being reincarnated to several years in the past. This is quite an easy scenario for newcomer authors to insert themselves into. Just think about it, if you can reincarnate back to the past with all your memories intact, what will you do?

Most authors can probably imagine it. If you return to several years in the past with knowledge of the future, there's just far too many ways of earning money. Even if you have zero business skills, can't remember a single stock market pick, and don't remember who won the World Cup of Soccer, at the very absolute minimum, shouldn't you know something like what company you should invest in?

Apart from earning money, don't you, the author, have any other regrets as well? For example, do you regret not treating your parents better while they were still alive? Do you regret choosing the wrong major in college? Are you embarrassed at your awkward attempts to get a boyfriend/girlfriend?

And so on, and so forth. Why are you afraid of not being able to think of plots for your storyline and making it longer?

As for the specific details, those are quite easy as well. For example, if you intended to sell off everything you owned back in the day and take out a huge loan to invest in one specific company, what would your parents say, and how would they react? How would all your other friends and relatives react as well? Who would you try to borrow money from, and how would they respond? What's the specific process of investing in a company, and what procedures are necessary? What if the company you invest in temporarily loses value after you invest in it? Would your parents complain at you and tell you to retract your investment? And how will people react after the company you invested in suddenly does super well and you make a huge profit? And, what will you do with the money…

Just this one storyline arc about investing in a company has plenty of content to write about even simply by following the natural process of how people would act. And if you use that as the foundation and intentionally write some conflicts, such as how the protagonist discovered that his friend who he wanted to borrow money from is actually investing in a different company, how he pretended to have a casual attitude when opening up an investment account made the investment company female employee misunderstand him to be someone really rich, or how people scoffed at him after investing in a company and he made a bet…

Wouldn't you agree that all these related events can add plenty of content to your story? Not only that, it shouldn't be all that difficult even for a newcomer author to write such a story arc.

Even if you're one of the few who feel like you lack imaginative prowess, and you don't have the confidence to create interesting scenarios and conflicts, well, there's still one more advantage of writing a modern story—you can borrow ideas from plenty of sources.

The most direct sources of all would be television dramas, especially those set in the current day. This should be easy to understand.

Apart from television shows and movies, there's also hot topics in society, the news, or local gossip and family conflicts… These are sources that are easy to overlook or maybe often considered boring. But actually, it's quite common to make some modifications and write them into your own novel and borrow from such sources.

This is why, from a certain standpoint, modern novels are the easiest novels for newcomers to begin with and to write a long story about.

3. Imitations

Imitation type novels aren't a particular genre, but they can belong to any genre. While this may seem rather contradictory, it actually means that a newcomer author could try selecting one of his or her own favorite and most familiar novels and imitate it. This isn't limited by genre.

Imitation could be shallow, or it could be a close imitation as well.

To give a theoretical example, perhaps the original story has a main character named Zhang San, who's the son of the sect leader of Green Castle. Your imitation novel could try having a main character named Li Si, who's the son of the sect leader of the Wudang Sect. The original story had Zhang San falling off a cliff and miraculously surviving while also obtaining a book containing a miraculous cultivation technique. After he successfully powered up, Zhang San was sent by his father to go undercover in the Demon Sect, where he fell in love with the Demon Sect leader's daughter. Your story could try having Li Si being ambushed while cultivating and becoming seriously injured, but miraculously having a great breakthrough in cultivation due to overlapping coincidences. Afterwards, Li Si went undercover in the Demon Sect in an effort to investigate who ambushed him, and fell in love with the Demon Sect leader's granddaughter…

This type of imitation requires even less creative effort from the author compared to fan fiction. From a certain standpoint, this is really cutting it close to becoming plagiarism. Yet, it's still undeniable that this is a usable method for newcomer authors to improve their own skills.

But, please note that this type of writing style is only suitable for practicing your writing. If your story is too much of an imitation, it'll be impossible to even make it public. That's because unlike fan fiction, even if you don't use it for commercial purposes, you've still plagiarized and violated the original author's copyright. It might even spoil certain plots from the original story and affect its sales and popularity.

That's why this type of learning via imitation, in principle, isn't really one of the better ways to learn. More accurately speaking, this is the final way to learn available to total beginner authors that have failed at attempting all other self-training methods.

In normal circumstances, after half a month to a month of imitation practice, the author should have some more insight into writing. The author can learn how to design storylines and write descriptions. At such a time, the author can stop trying to imitate and begin developing a completely original novel on their own.

These are the manga's, games, and books that are going to be present in this Fan Fiction. I don't own any characters, the story, products, or anything associated with them except for this Fan Fiction. The pride, pure resentment, and exhaustion of this story of mine. And probably other anime, tv shows, comic, manga, and books will be on here if it works in this story.
Like it took me 8 months on pondering and thinking this Fan fiction. It was a thought that did not leave me alone, so I planned to sate my mind and write this story and boy did I feel pure joy, resentment, and anger for writing this. It took 3 Months rethinking and redoing the writing for the First chapter. And then it took me another 2 months to redoing again and writing chapter 2. The time and effort for just one chapter to be up and published. Urgg! It was mentally tiring and exciting writing this.
So, the first thing that I will warn you about is that the story will be chaotic and probably confusing for the most part. I don't know if its going to be in your prospective understanding or if the story will make sense at all. It's up to your mind to begin with. SO to begin with, some characters will be gender bent for my own amusement and probably some romance. Probably, maybe, likely, perhaps, and most definitely. I will gender bend for ROMANCE. OH the so many possibilities with the power in these simple hands of mine. The power, the fellow hate, resentment, the love and support for my fellow Weaboo's. I will relish the feelings that you all shower me. HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!! ! !
Ahem, sorry about that. This story will take place in Harry Potter setting and world, then latter down the line show other products. Another note to add. For me, especially me. I have to slow down my reading speed and reorganize my thoughts to understand some stories. So my advice, read slow and reread sentences if you don't understand them.
The Game mechanic that I will use will be down below. I will try to make this Fan fiction make sense and not make a mess of the timeline and all that stuff. The characters personality are going to be hard. The agonizing thinking and decision if this persons personality is right will be long and suffering. And don't make me started on the blasted dialog! I both resent this story and take pleasure when I finish my work.
Anyway, the MC or my character will not be OP. It will take forever for him to be anywhere near OP-ish. This Fan Fiction will be long, with plenty of writing mistakes that will make you all resent me (And I will take pleasure of it). If and I use if lightly, you do find any writing mistakes. Please for everything that is holy, comment on the mistake so I may correct my story. God Knows I absolutely loath and hate Fan fiction that have writing mistakes.
